As her dad and sister make their way into the living area, Spencer can feel her heart racing in her chest and questions running through her mind. Why is Melissa here? What does she know? Whose side is she on? She looks to her mom for reassurance, but her confused expression just panics Spencer even more.

"I thought you weren't coming back until next week", Veronica asks

"I know, honey but Melissa insisted", her husband replies and moves to greet her with a peck on the cheek. He turns to greet Spencer in the same way but she takes an agitated step back before turning to her sister and whispering,

"Why are you here Melissa", in a shaky voice, her whole body trembling and on edge.

Her sister looks up and Spencer is surprised to see what resembles remorse in her eyes. Melissa moves towards her and too shocked to move, Spencer freezes as her sister takes her hands in her own and starts crying,

"I am so sorry Spencer, dad told me what Ian did. I didn't want to believe it at first, I loved him so much and he is the father of my baby but then…" she stops, afraid to admit the truth to her younger sibling.

"Then what, Melissa, you realised that maybe I'm not the liar you think I am, or maybe you just want in on all the drama, is that it, are you going to tell us he raped you now too?" ,Spencer angrily shouts.

"Spencer honey calm down", her mom urges but Spencer turns to flee to her room, overwhelmed. She stops however, when her sister speaks again, this time confessing,

"I found a box, ok? That's how I know you're telling the truth. I found a box full of photos of you, they were hidden in Ian's old boxes from college."

"What?" Spencer asks, horrified.

"Spence I'm so sorry, but Ian he was watching you, taking pictures of you. I didn't know, I thought he loved me…" Melissa starts but is interrupted by her sister who looks on the verge of tears as she whispers,

"What kind of photos? Where are they? Please I need to see them"

Spencer moves to the luggage her sister brought, but jumps with fear when a hand stops her from opening the case. Looking up, she is relieved, yet angered to find her father standing in her way.

"Leave it Spencer, you don't need to see them, honey", he murmurs, but Spencer is undeterred and starts rifling through her sister's possessions until she finds a small wooden box, with a padlock. Agitated, she continues looking for a key but is stopped by Melissa, who wears an unremarkably kind smile and states that she has the key in her handbag. Offering the key to her sister, Melissa warns the younger girl that she has to calm down, so Spencer takes a deep breath and sits down on the sofa with her mom on one side, her sister on the other. She notices that her father has retreated to the kitchen and momentarily feels guilty, before turning her attention back to the task at hand and opening the box.

Cringing with embarrassment, Spencer is disgusted to find the box full of photos, each one of her in a varying state of undress. A gasp beside her brings her out of her trancelike state of staring at the photos and looking up, her stomach churns at the horrified look on her mom's face. Overwhelmed with humiliation and fear, Spencer reaches for her car keys from her bag and flees the house before her terrified family can stop her.

Jumping in her suv, she spots her mother running out of the back door, pleading with her to come back inside but Spencer can't deal with this latest blow and she drives off leaving her family terrified for her state of mind. It's late and Spencer has no idea where she's going, so she just drives, hoping to find some peace, trying to distract herself from the photos, photos of her getting dressed, photos of her in her underwear, photos of her asleep. She can't seem to shake the images from her mind or the fear that comes with them. Focusing her mind on the road once again, she realises that she's nearing a very familiar spot on the outskirts of Rosewood, a place where she and Toby wold come to be alone. Pulling into the clearing she is surprised yet comforted to see a familiar truck parked next to the welcome to Rosewood sign and in that moment she wants nothing more than to find her safe place to land. Getting out of her car, she spots him immediately, he is sitting on a large rock, head in hands and Spencer feels her heart ache with just how much she's missed him.

Hearing footsteps behind him, Toby lifts his head and is shocked to see the beautiful, yet pained face of his girlfriend standing behind him. Moving towards her, he wants so badly to hold her, so when Spencer runs into his arms and starts sobbing on his shoulder, obviously distraught, he tries to hide his happiness that she is finally letting him comfort her and whispers reassuringly,

"Its ok baby, I love you and everything is going to be alright. I'm never going to let anyone hurt you again".

They sit in their spot for hours, Toby holding her frail body protectively, hushed whispers of comfort filling the silence and once Spencer has finally stopped crying, she reluctantly lets Toby drive her home, his truck a second thought to her well-being. Spencer is amazed by his gentleness and love for her as he opens her passenger door as they pull up at the house and without thinking she leans in to give him a peck on the lips. She pulls back quickly in surprise but is comforted that it didn't feel scary like she thought it would and feeling a small ounce of happiness to end a horrible day, she offers him a thank you and goodnight before going inside to bed.
