Chapter9

The pink haired guy stood there holding a file and looking at the paper in it. He was so focused in that file because it was something really important that was related to work. When he finished reading the papers he looked up and then to the redhead woman who was sitting on the desk's edge crossing her arms and looking at the salamander with very sleepy eyes. She yawned and then amended her position to stand up letting her hands to her sides. "What's wrong you look really sleepy?" he asked as he walked until he reached to his chair and sat down fetching some other file.

"Thanks to the ton of the work you are giving me, I can't sleep at night" she said then she sat down putting her right leg on her left one. She yawned again, "don't you plan on having your own secretary and give me a break?" she asked as she looked at him trying to keep her eyes opened. Erza got no answer from that salamander as he went to where his chair was fetching some other file and working in it. She felt anger reach her; she opened her mouth but tried to control the level of her voice in order not to attract the other employees.

"Natsu!"

"Do whatever you want" he said with a calm expression like nothing has happened as he kept looking at the file between his hands. Erza felt a smile automatically build on her lips; finally there will be someone to help her out in the work she was tied with. Now, she will get rest from that work that wasn't for her. Erza left the room singing while heading to her own room. Natsu glanced at her and let out a laugh without her realizing that and decided to return to his work again. There were a lot of work and he needed nothing except for the focus. While everybody was always saying to him to take a break for him and for his own son, he refused accepting their suggestion and ignored them. He didn't care about anyone except his own son and because he loved him, he was working in the night and in the morning for the rest of his. He wanted nothing except for seeing Haru's smile rise up to his face. Suddenly, the pink haired raised his head to look from the window remembering the last night and what happened together with him and the blonde. Lucy was sad from something and that appeared on her face, even if she had a son and her life looked really perfect, he realized that she was in deep hurt. Natsu believed that she regret doing that on him, leaving him like that. He knew her very well and knew how she was doing things and regret it later. But neither Lucy nor him were ready to take steps that would make them look like the past because nothing was like the past. They have changed, their life changed and everything, the time and the place changed. That's why, if they thought once to be like the old days, they prevent themselves. Natsu's had two reasons. Firstly, he refused it for his pride and because she hurt him a lot. He is afraid to be hurt again like she did in the past. The second one was his child. He was afraid that Haru hates her and she won't treat him like her own child. He had his own reasons.

The day passed like a heavy burden on everyone's shoulder making them dream for the bed. Erza had finished her work and started preparing for the new secretary feeling excited to do that. "I finally did that!" she clapped her hands together as she looked at her blue haired boyfriend. Jellal smirked and neared the distance between them, he sat in the chair next to her and looked at the paper she was holding.

"Are you trying to find a good wife for Natsu?" he mocked not knowing how sensitive this thing was to Natsu and what will happen if he heard him saying that. He took the papers and kept looking at them.

"Idiot, what if Natsu heard you?!" she glared at him and took the papers out from his hands. She stood up and went over the door to see if there was anyone who was out that could hear them. When she found no one, she returned again to continue talking with her boyfriend. She crossed her arms and glared at him "idiot!" Jellal smirked and stood up waking until he stopped in front of her.

"It's alright, Natsu is not that sensitive" he said then paused looking into her eyes. "Ne, wanna go to the restaurant to eat something" he suggested putting her hands on her shoulders. Erza removed his hands and looked away.

"I can't" she answered as she walked to her desk preparing her things to leave. "I've to go visit Lucy" he took steps to where she stood and crossed his arms. He was annoyed of what she said, it's been so long since the last time they spent together and he wanted some private time for them two. It's always something that bothers them and she care for it more than she cares for their relationship. Erza was doing that not knowing that would bothers him, she is doing that because she believed that he understands the situation. Like, Erza always thinks of Natsu and his work and especially everything about Natsu and that annoys Jellal very much. He took a deep breath and opened his mouth to protest but then closed it again.

"Is that so? Ok, I will be going to the home alone" Erza found a strange tone in his voice. She neared him and looked at his eyes smiling nervously.

"You don't look like you are satisfied, is there anything wrong?" she asked him wishing that he would tell her something but, he didn't. But, why? Didn't they always say that you have to reproach even if you love him. He shook his head and then she smiled happily hugging him, she loved him and he loved her back but there were some things that if you didn't say your relation might fail. He sighed watching her wearing the bag of her smiling at how she was trying to make things very simple, he wished that he would love her forever and their love never decrease.

They walked together out of the room heading to the main door. They met their friends Gray and Juvia in their way. "Finally, we finished working. This day was pretty long" the black haired guy said stretching his arms above his head.

"Yeah, I agree with that" Jellal said.

"Juvia, I will go visit Lucy. Do you won't to come?" the redhead looked at her friend who had blue haired. Juvia looked at her in back then looked at her own fiancée while holding his hand.

"Juvia has to prepare things for the wedding, we kinda are so busy lately" the blue haired water girl explained her excuse of not coming together with the other girl and because she knew that her wedding is soon, she has to prepare.

"Really, when will be your wedding?"

"In a month and a half later." Gray answered.
