CHAPTER 15 BLOOD TIES
Naruto sat down at the only open bar in town with Zabuza on his right and Kakashi on his left. They were all having a drink the two jonin somehow drinking through their face coverings.
'Still have no idea how they drink without pulling that shit down' Naruto sighed to himself 'oh well must be a genjutsu or something' he shrugged
"So who won our little bet?" Zabuza said looking down at Naruto getting his attention.
"What?" Naruto asked confused
"The bet between me and Kakashi, I say I did because my student got the furthest." Zabuza said
"Only cause the other guy forfeited." Kakashi shot back as he took another shot.
"A win is a win." Zabuza shrugged
"Neither." Naruto said as he took another drink "since it is unclear on who would of won because of the interruption I can't call a winner so you will just have to make another bet on the next exams."
"Fine whatever not like I wanted his perverted books any way." Zabuza sighed "pages probably stick together any way."
Naruto got up and walked out of the bar and down the empty street looking at all the empty shops. Everyone was at the memorial but he didn't go he had no reason to most of them were ones who probably treated him like a demon. Only one he could think of going for was the old man but even if he did go he would get those stares like always and even though he didn't let it show they did get to him.
"So big brother you're not going to the memorial?" Kuza asked walking beside him
"No." Naruto replied
"Why not?" Kuza asked
"Cause I am not wanted there." Naruto replied
"When has that ever stopped you from going anywhere?" Kuza said
"Not often." He said with a smirk
"Then what should we do?" the little fox asked
"Probably go and prepare to present our case to the council for my father's stuff." Naruto replied
"You think they will give it to you?" Kuza asked
"Probably not but I am going to get it one way or another." Naruto said
"Now that's the big brother I now." Kuza said with a smirk
The council had been a mess ever since the attack and death of their Hokage.
"We need to elect a new Hokage." Shouted Choza
"Agreed but who?" Inoichi asked to the group
"How about Jiraiya the toad sage." Suggested Shikaku
"Yes a Sanin would be an excellent choice for the next Hokage." Hiashi agree "all in favor?"
Everyone was about to raise their hands when a voice came from the shadows.
"Wow that is probable the worst choice you guys could have come up with, well next to Danzo of course." Came Naruto's voice as he walked out from the shadow along with the little black fox. Then gave Danzo a cold glare filled with killing intent.
"How did you even get in here." Hiashi replied in a cold voice lined with hate.
"I have my ways." Naruto said with a shrug
"Why do you think it is a bad idea for us to elect Jiraiya?" Shikakau asked putting his hands under his chin in a thinking type stance.
"Simple he loves the freedom he has, if he was elected he would probably look for any type of excuse to leave the village for 'special missions' or something." Naruto said
"Very insightful for one so young." Shikaku said
"And hell you have any ideas what kind of horrors he could get away with? The female bath houses would never be safe again." Naruto smirked "everyone he would force to be unisex." At hearing this, the one female member of the council got a look of fear in her eyes
"As much as I hate to agree with a Fox he is right." Tsume groaned
"Then who shall we elect then?" Choza asked
"Well that is all fine and good but I ain't here to listen to you all argue about who to elect I am here about my family scrolls." Naruto interrupted
"We have come to an agreement on that you may have the Uzumaki scrolls but not the Namikaze ones." Hiashi said reaching down under pedestal and pulled out a group of scrolls tied together. "We were planning on calling you in later today after we decided on a new Kage." He said tossing them to Naruto who caught them and opened them to see if they were the real deal.
"Very well then you will be hearing from my lawyer then and I will only take you for half of what your worth then." Naruto said as nodded after looking through the scroll confirming it was legit and turning around.
"Oh and Danzo you try to pull another stunt like that again I will let the fox finish what he started twelve years ago, starting with you." Naruto said looking right at the bandaged old man and walked away with his little fox.
Later that day Naruto was at his normal stool at Ichiraku downing his fourth bowl for this sitting.
"So kit you know Hiji won't be able to get those scrolls for you through the courts." Kurama said
'Yeah I know that was bluff they called on me but at least that bluff did half the work I needed to do.' Naruto replied in his mind with a smirk
"So how we gonna get the other scrolls? They are under heavy security and since Kuza hasn't been there before and we have no idea where they are stashed Kuza can't do his little shadow trick to get you in there." Kurama said
"I'll think of something.' Naruto thought as he finished his bowel just then an older man with long white hair sat down next to him.
"Hey how is my favorite little gaki doing?" Jiraiya said with a smile
"Was doing alright till you showed up ya old perv." Naruto said looking over at the Sanin
"Oh that really hurts my feelings." Jiraiya said holding his heart.
"What do you want old man?" Naruto asked in an annoyed tone
"Well I was going to offer you a job." Jiraiya said
"I am not a leaf ninja and never plan on being one so just give up on that dream of yours." Naruto said
"Never gona stop but it's not that I have been tasked with finding a certain individual and would like your help in locating her." Jiraiya said
"I am not helping you look for some ex-girlfriend who dumped you because you were a perverted old man." Naruto shot back
"Not a girlfriend she made it pretty damn clear she wanted nothing to do with me in that way by breaking a couple ribs when I asked her out." Jiraiya said
"Still not really peeking my interest." Naruto said as he ordered another bowl of ramen
"My old teammate, orders from on high want her to be the new Hokage so the council tasked me with finding her and bringing her back." Jiraiya explained
'Really the council wanted this huh?' Naruto thought to himself
"Uh oh I know that look what you planning?" Kurama said
"What's in it for me?" Naruto asked
"Well she does have nice sized bounty on her head so the council will pay that to you if you bring her back with me." Jiraiya said
"Really doubt the council said that. So you can speak for the council then about paying me for this bounty then?" Naruto said
"Yeah they gave me full control of this mission anything I say goes." Jiraiya said
"Alright then only way I will help you out on this hunt is if you get me both my father's scrolls and mother's scrolls ALL of them think you can get the council to agree to that as payment?" Naruto asked
"He was my disciple I will force them to do it." Jiraiya said
"Good then I will meet you over at the gates tomorrow, just make sure you have written proof about my payment." Naruto said
"Alright done." Jiraiya said holding out his hand to the bounty hunter.
"Good doing business with you." Naruto said taking the outstretched hand. After that Jiraiya got up and left.
"Holy shit, I can't believe that worked." Kurama said in a bewildered voice
'I know right.' Naruto said with a chuckle 'But I don't have the scrolls in hand just yet.'
"But why did you ask for the Uzumaki scrolls as well since you already have them?" Kurama asked
'You honestly believe they would give me all the scrolls of the Uzumaki clan scrolls just like that little fight in it?' Naruto asked the fox 'These scrolls probably only have the little basic things the Uzumaki have and they kept all the good stuff to themselves. Since Jiraiya is a big deal they won't try to trick him so easily like that he will be able to see through that shit easy enough and they don't want to lose his support.'
"Damn who ever said you don't think things through was an idiot." Kurama sighed
'That was you on many occasions.' Naruto shot back
"Well those times it was deserved so shut it." Kurama said as Naruto finished another bowl of ramen
The next morning Naruto stood at the village gates waiting for the old sage.
"The hell is that perv?" Naruto wondered
"Probably peeking in the girls bath again." Kuza sighed
"Most likely." Naruto also sighed when he finally saw the old man walking up the road "Damn what took you so long? Get caught at the bath house again?"
"Oh ha ha funny." Jiraiya said sarcastically
"So did you get the council to give me what's mine?" Naruto asked
"Took a lot of convincing and a lot of favors but I got them to sign this." Jiraiya said holding up a contract.
"Let's see that." Naruto said as he snatched out of his hands and read over it "Alright everything seems to be in order as long as I help you bring this Tsunade lady back they will give me my families shit." Naruto said "Good thing locating people and bringing them places they don't want to be is my specialty." He said making Kuza snicker
"We need to convince her to come back" Jiraiya said in a stern tone.
"Fine and if that doesn't work we do things my way." Naruto sighed as he started walking out gates "So where is her file."
"Sorry that is classified." Jiraiya said "no one outside the village can see it."
"Then how the hell am I supposed to figure out a way to track her?" Naruto said
"Well I do happen to know everything about her before she left the village and a bit about after she left." Jiraiya said
"Wow she had her vary own stalker impressive." Naruto said sarcastically.
As the bounty hunter and Sanin walked away from the village a new pair wearing black cloaks with red clouds were just making their way into the village.
"So this is the last place the nine was seen?" asked the taller asked
"Yes the nine was last seen here battling the one." The shorter one said
"So how does it feel to be back in your old village Itachi?" the taller one said looking down at his partner, only to get a death glare from Itachi.
"So you gona tell me about our target?" Naruto asked
"She isn't a target to be eliminated." Jiraiya said defensively
"Mark, whatever." Naruto replied "now I need to know about her if I am going to locate her."
"Alright she is the Tsunade Senju she is the granddaughter of the first Hokage she same age as me but looks like she is in her late thirties early forties. She is blonde with huge knockers." Jiraiya says gesturing with his hands, and drooling a bit.
"Anything more distinguishing blonde with big tits doesn't exactly narrow it down." Naruto says crossing his arms
"Well she has a diamond seal on her forehead and she has a huge gambling problem and she never wins." Jiraiya says.
"Well at least that helps narrows down the places I should look into." Naruto says
"Yeah I'll hit up the gambling halls when we get into the next town and ask around." Jiraiya said
"And I'll hit up the bookies." Naruto said
"How do you know bookies you're twelve?" Jiraiya asked
"Hello I'm a merc slash bounty hunter. How is nobody getting this?" Naruto sighed
Kakashi along with Asuma and Kurenai were all sitting at the dango shop having a meal and talking.
"So Kakashi how is your team dealing with the invasion?" Asuma asked
"Well Sasuke and Sakura are alright but Kenma turned in his resignation papers." Kakashi said getting the other two to give him a look of shock.
"What?" both of them asked
"Apparently something really spooked him during the invasion." Kakashi said "but doesn't surprise me he was seemed a bit jumpy to be a ninja."
"True he was always a bit jittery." Asuma replied "so how do you think Jiraiya-sama and Fox are doing on their mission?"
"Wait Jiraiya- sama is working with that mercenary." Kurenai asked
"Sorry council business." Asuma replied realizing his mistake
"Of course." Kurenai said "just kind of odd Jiraiya sama would work with a merc, right Kakashi?" she asked looking over at the cycloptic ninja.
"Huh?" Kakashi said looking back at them taking his attention off of something outside. "yeah well I gotta go check on something." He said as he got up then gave Asuma a nod receiving one back he walked out of the booth
"Uhm whats going on?" Kurenai asked looking at Asuma.
"I'll tell you on the way we have to move." Asuma said as he got up and headed outside as well followed closely by Kurenai
Naruto and Jiraiya had been walking none stop since they left the village and was about noon.
"Hey kid how about we stop for a bit and rest our feet." Jiraiya said
"Why if we keep up this pace we can be at the next town in an hour and I can talk to my contacts and get this job done sooner." Naruto said
"Come on this old man needs to rest his feet for a bit and recharge." Jiraiya replied "Hey I'll even teach you one of your fathers' jutsus and you can practice that while I get some grub and rest a bit." Jiraiya said
This got the blonde's attention. "alright fine show me this jutsu and we can have that break." Naruto replied
"Alright great." Jiraiya said as he walked off toward a small field on the side of the road.
'Alright this should keep him occupied for a bit' Jiraiya thought to himself
"Alright so what is this jutsu then?" Naruto asked
"The rasengan." Jiraiya said as he held out his hand and formed an orb of blue swirling chakra in his hand "It is an S-rank jutsu created by the Fourth Hokage and doesn't need any hand signs just focus." Jiraiya said
"That it?" Naruto asked "not all that impressive."
"Oh but just watch." Jiraiya said proudly as he walked up to a tree and slammed it into it and the ball exploded ripping a chunk of the tree almost tearing it in half "pretty impressive huh." He said crossing his arms proudly "If I put it into full power it would of ripped that tree in half like a hot knife through butter."
Naruto watched on not letting any excitement show and held up his hand in front of his chest.
"Don't think you can just do it that easily took the fourth a year to develop and master, then took me a few months to learn it myself." Jiraiya said in a teacher like voice "here is the first step." He said holding up a water balloon "you must swirl the water in this and make it burst." Jiraiya said while Naruto just stood there waiting for him to finish talking
"Well let's just see what I can do without that." Naruto said with a smirk as a black ball the same size as Jiraiyas' formed in his hand and he drew it back slamming it into the tree and yelled "Bijuu Dama!" when the ball hit the tree the tree and everything around it was completely annihilated forcing Jiraiya to fall on his ass.
"The hell was that!?" Jiraiya cried out
"That is the Bijuu Dama or tailed beast bomb. It was one of the first things the Fox taught me." Naruto said looking down at the old man "And that isn't even full power. Full power can destroy the entire village in one shot." Naruto said getting a look of fear in the old man "Don't worry I haven't been able to get to that level… yet"
"Your body is still too weak to use that much of my power give it a few years." Kurama butted in
'Wasn't complaining just stating a fact.' Naruto replied "now do you have anything new if not let's get moving." He said impatiently
"Well that was the only thing of your fathers I knew other than seals." Jiraiya said standing up and getting Naruto's attention.
"What about seals?" Naruto asked
"Well I did teach him about seals but he brought it to a whole other level" Jiraiya said
'And it should be in his scrolls but it will help if I had a concept of seals before I try to figure them out' Naruto thought to himself
"Then teach me that." Naruto said getting a confused look form the sage
"You want to learn about seals?" Jiraiya asked a bit confused
"That's what I said, is that a problem?" Naruto asked
"No not at all it's just you seem more of a hands on kind of guy who would rather learn fighting then seals." Jiraiya said
"Well I already know multiple fighting styles in hand to hand swords and just about every other weapon out there. as for jutsu I could use more variety but it gets the job done, but seals I don't have a damn clue about." Naruto said "so it will give me more to work with."
"Well sure I can teach you some basic seals." Jiraiya said as he sat down and started to show Naruto the basics of seals.
Sasuke and Sakura where walking around the village after hearing about their teammates resignation.
"I can't believe Kenma quit" Sakura said
"He is just weak." Sasuke said
'Wow I can't believe how cold he is why didn't I see that before.' Sakura thought to herself
"Well we could always start going after Fox." Her inner self replied
'He is even colder then Sasuke' Sakura said
"But seems you like that kind of guy." Inner Sakura said
'Yeah but being that cold to a team mate it just seems wrong.' Sakura replied
"Well fox seems cold but he does seem to be alright to those he trusts like Mei and Zabuza." Inner Sakura said
'Yeah but they earned his respect.' Sakura replied 'and he sees us as… pathetic.'
"Well we will just have to train to show him we aren't pathetic." Inner said
'I guess, wait why do I care what that merc thinks' Sakura said to herself
"Cause you like him but won't admit it" inner said
'Like I care about that Fox' Sakura replied
"Hey Sakura what was that about Fox" came Sasuke's voice
"What?" Sakura asked with concern 'did I just say that out loud'
"You were mumbling to yourself and all I caught was Fox. What about him?" Sasuke asked
"Oh I was just wondering where he was I haven't seen him since the attack on the village." Sakura covered
"Nice save." Inner said
"Yeah same here and I was hoping we could do some training." Sasuke said
"Didn't think you liked him." Sakura said
"Don't but I respect his power and if I can gain some of that I will." Sasuke said 'whatever I can get to kill my brother I will take it.'
"Well maybe he left already." Sakura said getting a small pang of pain 'what was that'
"We should check the gate then" Sasuke said as he walked toward the gate.
"Alright I'll go with you." Sakura said
"Whatever." Sasuke replied
The pair walked up to the main gate and stepped up to the entry booth.
"Ah Sasuke Sakura what brings you down here?" Kotetsu asked
"Well just wondering if you have seen Fox around?" Sasuke asked
"Yeah he left this morning with Jiraiya." Kotetsu replied
"Damn't" Sasuke replied
'He's gone and didn't even say goodbye.' Sakura thought to herself feeling hurt
"But I would think you would be looking for Kakashi." Kotetsu said
"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked confused
"Rumor is he is up at the hospital." Kotetsu said
"What?" both genin said together as they ran off toward the hospital.
It was a few hours after they had stopped for lunch when they finally arrived at the town they were to begin their search.
"Bout time took us long enough to get here." Naruto complained "Would of only took me an hour or so alone at full speed."
"Well from my journeys I find it's not about the destination but the experience of getting there." Jiraiya said
"Not when you're on a time table. I don't like working for the leaf and want to be done with this job as soon as possible" Naruto replied
"I understand your distaste for the village but not everyone in the village is that bad." Jiraiya replied
"Yeah well any way lets go find a place to check in." Naruto says as he walks up to a hotel brushing off his comment.
"Well hello there sweet thing." Jiraiya says to the girl behind the desk who seemed to be in her late teens
"Do you ever stop seriously she is young enough to be your grand kid, and from those tails you speak of, if even half are real, she very well could be one of yours. Chew on that for a bit." Naruto said getting a look of realization from the old man and a giggle from the girl. "We need two separate rooms preferable on opposite sides of the halls and building, as well as different floors."
"I'm sorry but we only have one room available because of the festival going on and all the other hotels are the same." The young lady replies
"Ah damn't of course my luck won't even allow me this one thing alright we'll take it." Naruto says as he and Jiraiya pay her and she gives them the keys.
"Alright I am going to go put my things away and then head out for some investigating." Jiraiya said "Possible start with the bars or bath houses" he says with a pervish smile under his breath.
"Please tell me you know your grandparents so my joke doesn't turn out to be right." Naruto says to the girl
"Oh don't worry I know my family line from a couple generations back." She giggles "but the future of my family is still up in the air." she teases
"Oh really now" Naruto flirts back
"Yeah but what is a poor girl to do during a festival with no man to keep her company." The girl replies batting her eye lashes.
"Well…" Naruto began as an image of Sakura flashed through his head causing him to stutter a bit. "Well I am sure a cute girl like you can find a nice guy." He covers as he begins to walk down the hall toward his room leaving the girl stunned behind the counter "oh and stay away from the bath houses for the next couple days." He calls back
He walks up a flight of stairs holding his head 'the hell was that?' he says to himself 'Damn't fox you messing with my head again?'
"Huh what happened?" the fox asks obviously waking up from a nap
'Never mind nothing' Naruto replies
"Stop waking me up over nothing will you." Kurama says with a yawn and a small smirk, seeing what had happened.
Back at the hospital in the Leaf Kakashi laid in bed after his fight with Itachi, while Asuma and Kurina stood at his bed side
"So Kakashi what happened? We had our eyes closed and we heard you talking to him then the next second you were on the ground." Asuma asked
"It was his jutsu it was ten days in his world he controlled everything it was ten days of pure torture." Kakashi explained just then the door slammed open.
"Kakashi sensei?!" came the voices of his two remaining student
"What happened?" Sasuke was the first to ask
"Well you see…" Asuma began
Just then a chunin ran to the doorway yelling "Is it true Uchiha Itachi has retuned and beat the hell out of Kakashi looking for that Fox Mercenary?"
"What?" Sasuke mumbled out in shock
"God you idiot" Asuma sighed as Sasuke shot out the door and toward the gate
'Fox kun is in danger?' Sakura thought to herself
"When did you start adding kun?" inner asked
'Not the time inner.' Sakura shot back as she stared off after her teammate 'he's in trouble and there is nothing I can do to help him.'
Naruto and Jiraiya stood outside the hotel discussing what they were planning on doing.
"Well I will hit up the bars and other businesses see if anyone has seen her." Jiraiya says
"I'll hit up some contacts, my bookies and gambling halls maybe a bar or two." Naruto says
"You're not old enough to get into a bar or even the gambling halls." Jiraiya says
"Don't worry about how I get my information. You just focus on not getting to drunk and having some skank rip you off for all that your worth." Naruto said as he walked away.
A short while later Jiraiya was sitting at a booth in the local bar with a girl on each arm laughing and talking with them when out of nowhere a man came flying through the window next to them landing on the table causing the girls to scream.
"The hell is this?" Jiraiya says confused as the man looks around and grabs his vest.
"Help me don't let him take me?" the man says when the doors open up to reveal a blonde with red demonic eyes look around and settle on the man on the table.
"Where'd you go buuuuuudy" Naruto said as he started to walk toward him "we hadn't finished our conversation yet." He said as he walked up and grabbed the man by the back of the collar and started to drag him away. Getting a confused look from the older man.
"Ah bar keep you're not gonna do anything about that?" Jiraiya asks
"Nah that's just Fox gathering some intel on one of his hunts he'll pay for the window always does, so I say why not at least it keeps this place lively every so often." The man behind the bar says
After a bit longer at the bar the old sage decides to find another bar since he hadn't found much information in that one and the girls were mearly looking for free drinks. As he walked into the next bar looked pretty similar to the other with a few more people talking and flirting with each other.
Jiraiya sat at the bar next to a blonde girl who was currently talking to a man about how he won a bunch of money. After a while the man left and Jiraiya leaned over to the blonde and said "why hang out with a loser like that when you can hang out with a famous sage like me."
The girl turned around and gave him a giggle and said "sorry you're out of my age range probably couldn't even keep that shriveled old thing up for more than a minute." She teased
"What I'll show you shriveled up." Jiraiya said defensively
"Please don't." the blonde said with disgust as she got up and started to leave followed close by the old sage.
"Oh come on give me a little bit of a chance" Jiraiya pleaded
"It's just pathetic to see an old man like you beg." The blonde replied
"So will you give me a reason to stop begging?" Jiraiya said
"You know what I'm done come here" she said as she walked down an ally.
"So it's not like I haven't done it in an ally before but I got a hotel room all to myself." Jiraiya replied peevishly
"You are one sick puppy." The blonde said as she crossed her arms over her chest and was enveloped in a poof of smoke revealing Naruto.
"What the hell where did the pretty girl go?" Jiraiya said
"That was me, it's called the sexy jutsu." Naruto explained
"I can see why you call it that as a chick? Your pretty good lookin." Jiraiya said
"That is wrong on so many levels" Naruto sighs "besides that is only level one."
"Than what are the other levels." Jiraiya asks in anticipation
"Well since I know you won't stop bugging me till I show you once I tell you, this is level three of four the harm jutsu." Naruto sighs as he crosses his fingers and is enveloped in a poof of smoke and emerges as ten copies of the girl he had just turned into with only smoke covering their special areas.
At this Jiraiya is shot back from his nose bleed slamming him against the wall.
"Perfect ten this is the absolute perfect jutsu." Jiraiya says giving him a thumbs up holding a sign up saying 'winner'. This only got a tick mark of annoyance from the blonde as he released the jutsu turning back into his normal self
"Does it bother you at all that you were just hitting on me?" Naruto asks
"Well a little but that jutsu is absolute genius I can normally see through henges easy as that but that was absolutely perfect." Jiraiya says
"Yeah it's my own desgine to gather information from drunk idiots looking for a cute face to talk to, also to go around unnoticed people don't look twice at a little girl, also it's a pretty good distraction tool in a pinch." Naruto explains
"I just got two questions." Jiraiya asks
"What?" Naruto asks still annoyed
"Well if that was level three of four what's level four?" Jiraiya asks
"I do the same but turn into different girls." Naruto says "and your second question"
"Anyway you could teach me that." Jiraiya asks shamefully as he pokes his index fingers together.
"No way in hell!" Naruto yells at the old man "this is my personal jutsu I will not teach it to a perverted old man so he can disgrace it!"
"Ok fine just asking." Jiraiya says disappointed "but did you find anything out?"
"Yes the bookie and the drunk in there said a woman fitting Tsunade's description has been in Tanzaku town a short ways away. We should be there by tomorrow evening if we leave in the morning." Naruto explains as he walks out of the alley.
"Well that's good, and since we are done in this town I'm going to go and have some fun." Jiraiya says rubbing his hands together.
"Whatever I'm going to go take a shower I just feel dirty" Naruto says with a shiver as he begins to walk way toward the hotel.
After long shower Naruto sat in the room going over the Uzumaki scrolls he had gotten from council.
"Yeah they defiantly gave me the short end of the stick on this one." Naruto sighed seeing how most of these scrolls were the basics
"You honestly think they would of given you anything worth something." The fox asked
"Not really but hopefully the old perv can get me what I want" Naruto replied
"And if he can't?" Kurama asked
"I'll just have to set up a heist." Naruto said
"Now you're speaking my language." Kurama said with a grin
Just then he heard a knock at his door.
'Must be the perv' Naruto thought as he got up from his bed "Finally getting tired of striking out?" he said as he opened the door to see two men standing in his door way wearing black cloaks with red clouds.
"Sorry guys didn't order any male strippers try down a floor. Think that is where I heard the drunk girls screaming about a bachelorette party or something." Naruto replied
"We are here for you Naruto Uzumaki." Said the man with the giant wrapped up sword on his back.
"Ah Kisama good to meet you and the emo king good to see you again Itachi." Naruto said
"You've met before?" Kisama asked looking at his partner
"Long time ago back before I knew of our objective." Itachi said
"Let me guess you're here for my fuzzy little buddy aren't you?" Naruto asked sarcasticly
"Good guess" Kisama responded as he pulled the sword off of his back
"Well even though the puff ball gives me a head ach from time to time I won't hand him over that easily." Naruto said
"You're facing down two S rank missing nin and not flinching I'll give you credit for having balls" Kisama said with a grin
"Well I am an A rank mercenary bounty hunter, but I will only be fighting you fish face your buddy here will be going against him." Naruto says pointing down the hall toward an enraged Sasuke
"Ah little brother." Itachi says "this will only take a moment you can handle this one can't you Kisame?" he says turning toward his partner
"Of course." Kisame says looking back at Naruto
"You're mine brother!" Sasuke yells as he activates his chidori and charges down the hall straight at his brother ripping his hand across the wall.
"You know this may be a bit entertaining I got some popcorn in my room I could get it and we kick back and watch instead of fight?" Naruto says with a grin.
The response he got was the giant sword swinging down at him. Naruto swung his blades out and blocked the attack "well guess not." He said as he shoved the blade away from himself.
"Samehada likes the smell of your chakra. So I am going to let him have a taste" Kisame said as he stopped himself
"Well this will be the second of the seven I've fought let's see if I can go two for two." Naruto chuckled as he charged Kisama who blocked the attack
"Oh really who did you go up against?" Kisama asked
"Zabuza and he used only his swordsmanship as it should be between two swordsmen." Naruto said "It was an honorable fight and win for me."
"Ha just like that fool to follow those rules I'll win by any means." Kisama said as he jumped back and shot water bullets at Naruto who cut them in half with ease.
"That all you got?" Naruto asks as he charges his opponent and they go at it swinging missing by millimeters.
"You're pretty good kid I would offer you an apprenticeship under me if I didn't have to bring in the nine tails." Kisama laughs
"Sorry I don't need to use a big sword to over compensate." Naruto laughs as he swings again cutting Kisame's cloak. Just then the walls and floor began to turn to what looked like living tissue and they began to get sucked into it.
"What going to leave me out of the party?" came the voice of the old perv causing the group to look over and see him with a young brunette in her mid-twenties over his shoulder. "You didn't think I would see past that little genjutsu you put on her to distract me?" he asked holding up the young woman in his shoulder
"What you finally realized the only way she would be interested in is if she was under a genjustu? I could of told you that in heart beat." Naruto chuckled
"Just for that I will let him rough you up a bit more" Jiraiya said getting a grin from the swordsmen.
"No lets go Kisame even with the two of us we don't stand a chance against a Sanin." Itachi said as he let go of his brother who was being drawn into the wall.
"Alright fine lets go then" Kisame sighed as the pair ran down a hall and the wall at the end erupted in black flames and they burst through it and away from the Sanin.
Jiraiya walked over to the hole they had made 'odd to be able to burn the mountain toad when he is able to spit fire himself, better take a sample.' Jiraiya says to himself as he pulls out a scroll and writes a seal that absorbs the black flames and he rolls it up and puts it in his jacket and the building goes back to normal.
"Hey old perv what should we do with this guy?" Naruto asks
"Well let's see." Jiraiya says as he walks up and sees its Sasuke "well I don't see any physical damage so it must be from the genjutsu we need to get him to Konoha hospital."
"Well you can go I am going to finish this job." Naruto growls not wanting to go back to the village.
"DYNAMIC ENTERANCE!" Came a loud and obnoxious voice and a fist connecting with Jiraiya's head "Don't lay a hand on my youthful leaf ninja you fiend"
"Damn't Guy the hell was that for!" Jiraiya yelled at the green clad bowl cut man
"My sincerest apologies Jiraiya sama" Guy bows apologetically "for my punishment I will do a hundred laps around the village while balancing a boulder on my head."
"Just take this one back to the leaf and call it good and get him there as fast as you can." Jiraiya says
"Yes Jiraiya sama" Guy snaps to attention and salutes then turns to Naruto "and a pleasure to see you again youthful Fox." He then picks up the kid and takes off for the village.
"That guy just freaks me right the fuck out." Naruto sighs
"Yeah he has that effect on people." Jiraiya sighs as well
"Well I am going to get some sleep got an early morning and long walk ahead of us and we will be going at my pace not your half assed pace." Naruto says as he walks into their room
"Yeah I need to get some shut eye as well." Jiraiya yawns
"Aren't you forgetting something." Naruto says pointing at the girl he had on his shoulder when he came in.
"Oh right gotta explain to her what happened." Jiraiya says as he walks over to her.
"Then you can explain that gaping hole in the wall to the manager since we put the room in your name." at this the old man began to freak out a little over the damage he would have to pay for repairs.
'Haha sucker' Naruto chuckles to himself as he puts his hands in his pockets walking into his room and pulls out a slip of paper that wasn't there before.
'Three years' was all the slip said
'Well looks like he is still lookin gout for us.' Naruto says to himself
"Yeah he always did have a soft spot for you think you reminded him of his brother." Came Kurama's voice
'Probable' Naruto replies as he burns the slip and heads in to take a shower.
