Diversion
"Hey! You fat, ugly brute! Look at me! Come on, now! Come on!"
Peter was shouting desperately, screaming with all he had, trying to draw the attention of the giant away from his sister. Susan was laying on the ground, completely prone, with nothing to protect her except for the small dirk that she had drawn with a shaking hand. The giant turned rather slowly, and looked down at Peter with red, bloodshot eyes. With a roar that shook the earth itself, the giant began to blunder after the suddenly sprinting king. Despite the danger, Peter didn't much mind being the diversion, if it meant keeping his family safe.
