CHAPTER 22 OLD DEALS SETTLED
Sasuke laid in his bed in one of Orochimaru's hidden bases. He had been under the Sanin's tutelage for the past three years and learned all he saw that he could from the snake. It was time to dispose of him now that he no longer had any use for him, and finish the deal he had made with Fox all those years ago.
Flash Back
"You want to kill your brother don't you?" a thirteen year old Naruto asked
"Of course what's it to you?" Sasuke asked
"Well I can help you find him." Naruto replied
"What do I have to do?" Sasuke asked intrigued but suspicious
"Well you will have to get stronger of course, and once you do I'll help you locate him I do have a lot of contacts around the world." Naruto shrugged
"What's in it for you?" Sasuke asked "You don't do anything for free."
"Well since you are going to study under that snake faced bastard and I have been wanting to collect the bounty on his head for awhile now. The way I see it once you finish your training you let me know where he is and we take him down together." Naruto shrugged "I'll split the bounty fifty-fifty of course."
"Keep the money my fee in this job is you tell me how to find and take down my brother." Sasuke said with stern eyes "deal?"
Naruto stood on his side of the river for a moment then jumped over to Sasuke's side and held out his hand "deal." He said as they shook on it
END FLASH BACK
Sasuke sat up as he sensed his summons snake slither up on his desk next to the bed.
"You deliver the message?" Sasuke asked the snake who set down the scroll that was in his mouth and then looked up at his master.
"Yes Sasuke sama and the one named Fox gave me this to give to you." the snake said
"Very well, leave me." Sasuke replied as the snake left and he opened the scroll. Inside the scroll was a seal he had never seen before. Just then a yellow flash burst in front of him and there stood Naruto.
"You always did like to make an entrance didn't you." Sasuke shot at him with annoyance.
"It's a skill." Naruto shrugged "so you ready to do this?"
"Why else would I call you?" Sasuke replied
"So what's the plan?" Naruto asked
"Orochimaru's room is down a level and we simply go down there take him by force together." Sasuke replied
"Simple straight to the point, I like it." Naruto replied
"All we have to do is get down there unseen." Sasuke explains
"No problem." Naruto says as Kuza walks out of his shadow then jumps into Sasuke followed by Naruto.
'Well this is awkward.' Sasuke says to himself as he walks out of his room and heads down the hall. After a few moments Sasuke found himself in front of Orochimaru's door. He took a moment to let out a breath as he pushed opened the door and stepped in.
"Ah Sasuke-kun what do I owe this pleasure of your company?" Orochimaru asked with a smirk
"I am done with you I am here to complete my purpose with you." Sasuke replied
"Oh you think you can take me alone?" Orochimaru asked with a confident smile
"No I didn't come alone." Sasuke said with a smirk as Naruto stepped out of his shadow along with Kuza.
"You got a good price on your head." Naruto said with a smirk "You should of known I would eventually come for it."
"Kukukukuk." Orochimaru chuckled "very well let us have this battle but if I win I will claim your body young Uchiha and finally claim the Sharingan for my own."
"We'll see about that." Sasuke said as he drew his sword
"This will be fun." Naruto said as he pulled out his two long swords from his sides.
The two jumped at him, but before either of their blades cut him Orochimaru spit something out and their blades sliced an empty shell. They looked back and saw a massive snake made out of other snakes.
"So this is your true form." Sasuke replied then turned toward Naruto "Leave this to me I will test my power on him."
"Fine but I will step in if I see an opportunity." Naruto shrugged as he sheathed his swords and leaned against the wall.
At this Orochimaru launched himself at Sasuke who just stood there as the snakes wrapped around him.
"Once I finish with him I'll be coming after you next." Orochimaru smiled at Naruto who just stood there watching with slit demonic eyes. Out of nowhere Orochimaru's body was torn to shreds and Sasuke stood there in his curse mark form.
"Now I will use the power you gave me against you." Sasuke said with a smirk but before he could move he fell to a knee. "What I can't move?" he said in a bit of a surprise
"Kukuku" Orochimaru laughed "that is because of the paralysis agent in the great serpent's blood that activates on contact with the air. You're no more than a simple mouse for me to feed on." He said with a smile "and once I have taken your body I will dispose of you." he said turning toward Naruto who just stood there still leaning against the wall
"Now your mine!" Orochimaru shouted as he launched toward Sasuke but stopped as blood spewed from his neck and his head fell away from the rest of his body. His eyes darted around and saw Naruto standing behind him flicking the blood from his sword and sheathing it. "But how? The paralysis, you shouldn't be able to move." he said in shock
"Yeah cool little perk about having a demon in ya, you get rapid regeneration and immunity to poisons." Naruto said with a smirk as he walked back over to the head and cut it in half. Once the head split Naruto pulled out a scroll and sealed the head in it.
"I had it under control." Sasuke said as he stood up "he was under my genjutsu the whole time."
"I know but couldn't let you have all the fun." Naruto replied with a smirk "and I prefer having the killing blow when I turn in a bounty." He said as he walked toward the door "I'll send you your share of the bounty when I receive it."
"I don't want the money pay me in information I want the location of my brother." Sasuke replied
"Very well I will send all the information I receive on his were about to you." Naruto said "and you might want to form a team to help with this job."
"Why I can handle my brother myself." Sasuke said
"Perhaps, but you will also have to deal with Kisame and he is and S-rank missing ninja like your brother. Even has the nickname of the tailed beast without a tail. You may be able to take your brother but not both." Naruto said as Sasuke simply nodded
"Very well I already have a few people in mind." Sasuke said as he walked out the door. "Come with me and tell me if you agree on this one."
"Ah you value my opinion I am touched" Naruto said with a smirk wiping away a none existent tear.
"I respect your strength and you have faced off against this man before." Sasuke said as Naruto walked out the door to find Kabuto standing there in shock.
"Y yo you really killed him?" Kabuto said shocked that anyone could kill Orochimaru.
"Oh you again I have a bone to pick with you." Naruto said with a smirk and a look of horror shot through Kabuto's face as a Sasuke looked back and only saw a flash from a sword and Kabuto's head hit the floor "I don't like it when people stab me and cut off my chakra to heal it." As he said this he pulled out another scroll and sealed the head and body into it.
"You done?" Sasuke asked in a bored tone.
"Almost, hey Kuza." Naruto called as Kuza walked out of a shadow "Here take these to the leaf and tell them we want to be paid for them."
"No problem brother." Kuza said as he took the scrolls in his mouth and stepped back into the shadows
"Alright now I'm ready." Naruto said as he stood up and walked toward him
The pair walked down going deeper and deeper into the base till they made it to a lab. Sasuke walked up to a giant glass tube and it spoke.
"Ah if you're here then that means you killed him doesn't it?" the tube said
"Yes and I need you to help with something else." Sasuke replied
"I don't think he is up to it." Naruto said "as cool as a talking lava lamp is it won't be enough to kill Kisame."
"You are planning on killing Kisame!?" the tube asked
"I plan on killing my brother Kisame is in my way." Sasuke said
"Oh then you want me on your team for that I have dreamed of killing him and taking his sword and joining the ranks of the legendary seven swordsmen my entire life." The tube said
"Good then we have a deal you help me deal with Kisame while I deal with my brother." Sasuke replied
"As long as you get me out of this tube." The tube said at that Sasuke pulled out his sword and cut the tube in half and its contents spilled on to the floor and a teenage boy with razor sharp shark like teeth began to form from the water.
"Ah feels so good to stretch the legs." The boy said as he stretched his arms and did some squats
"Fox this is Suigetsu." Sasuke said
"So is this guy going with us as well?" Suigetsu asked walking up to Naruto getting really close to his face.
"No he is merely giving us the information to find him." Sasuke said then turned to Naruto "So what do you think of my first team member?"
"Not impressed Kisame will tear him apart easily." Naruto said as chains quickly wrapped around the water boy.
"Ha those won't do anything to me I will just turn into water when you try to rip me apart." Suigetsu said with a smirk as the chains began to tighten.
"Oh really?" Naruto replied with a smirk and the chains tightened and Suigetsu cried out in pain as the chains dug into him and he saw his blood for the first time he could remember.
"But how?" Suigetsu asked in shock
"Simple, my chains drain chakra and seal it away." Naruto said as he pulled on the chains that were coming out of his hand "and this is similar to the ability of Samehada. That sword will devour any chakra around it like my chains. So if you want to beat him I suggest you don't rely on that ability of yours" Naruto said as he withdrew his chains
"Alright I get it." Suigetsu replied as he fell to the ground
"Do you even know how to use a sword?" Naruto asked
"Of course I do I was being trained to be one of the seven swordsmen before Orochimaru captured me." Suigetsu said with a snobby grunt
"Fine let's see." Naruto said as he pulled out his katanas and tossed one to him.
"Alright let's go." Suigetsu said as he got into a stance.
For the next hour Naruto tested Suigetsu's swordsmanship and abilities. By the end of their spar Suigetsu was breathing heavily and Naruto was sweating a little.
"Not bad if you train a bit more you may be able to hold your own against him." Naruto replied
"Don't worry I'll take that bastard down and claim his sword." Suigetsu said
"Well since I'm such a nice guy I'll even let you borrow that sword till you do." Naruto said with a smile tossing him the sheath for it. "Or till you die either one works for me." This got a look of shock from the liquid boy.
"Why would you let me borrow this?" Suigetsu asked
"Simple we have a common goal." Naruto replied getting Suigetsu even more confused as Naruto smirked "you see Kisame and Sasuke's brother are part of an organization that is… let's just say hunting down me and my family so if I help you in fighting them that is less work for me." Getting Suigetsu to understand and nod.
"Very well I'll take good care of it." Suigetsu replied as Naruto let out a large yawn
"Shit what time is it?" Naruto asked as he looked over and saw a clock "ah shit I need to get home and get some sleep, it's almost morning" he said as he saw the clock had said six in the morning
"Alright, when you get that information give it to me right away." Sasuke said
"Ya ya ya don't worry I'll hit up my contacts and spread the word after I get some shut eye." Naruto replied waving him off and disappeared in a flash of yellow light.
Naruto appeared in his apartment and was about to go straight for the bed but then caught a wiff of himself and looked down at his clothes to see they were covered in blood and sweat.
'Well guess a shower would be nice before bed.' He said to himself as he took off his gear and clothes and stepped into the bathroom and started the shower.
After his shower he dried off and put on a pair of boxers and slipped into his bed where he rolled around a bit to get comfortable and brushed up against something he didn't realize was there before.
'When the hell did I get a new pillow?' he asked himself as he wrapped his arms around it and pulled it tight against his chest. His hands wrapped around the other side and found nice soft spots where he grabbed a hold of and pulled it even tighter to himself. 'Too tired to care.' He sighed to himself as he hugged his new pillow and fell asleep.

Sorry for the delay in this chapter and sorry if it is shorter than other chapters, but I this is a good place to stop I think and I wanted to get at least something out there for you guys while I work on my other fics. I will try to get my updates out faster but finals are coming up so I promise nothing
