CHAPTER 26 BROTHERS REUNITED
Sakura woke up to find herself clinging to a warm and firm pillow only when she opened her eyes did she see it was actually Naruto who was still asleep. That was when the events of the prevous night returned to her and a smile went across her face.
"Well now isn't this just a dream come true now isn't it." Inner said in her head
'Yeah' Sakura replied as she looked down at Naruto's face as he began to stir.
"Well looks like big brother finally got his vixen." Came a smart mouthed comment. Sakura looked over to see a six tailed black fox sitting in the chair directly across from the bed.
"Yeeep." Sakura yipped as she jumped back to the head of the bed and pulled up the sheets to cover herself. At the quick movement Naruto shot up with a knife drawn ready for a fight but when he looked around and there wasn't any threat he calmed down then saw Kuza
"Damn't man stop scaring the poor girl." Naruto sighed as he slackened up
"Sorry it's just too easy she is just really jumpy." Kuza said with a grin
"Yeah she is." Naruto smirked as well getting a sour look from Sakura
"Well seems you've finally gotten your vixen I would have gone with the bleach blonde one." Kuza sighed "This one is to flat chested and lanky."
"Hey who are you calling flat chested and lanky?" Sakura demanded as anger filled her eyes getting a shocked look from both Naruto and Kuza
"Wait you can understand him?" Naruto asked in shock
"Yeah and he better not be talking about Ino being a better match for you." Sakura said as the anger began to swell.
"How can she understand me?" Kuza asked
"Wait it must be the seal." Naruto realized as he grabbed ahold of Sakura before she could attack his friend.
"Wait you mean she is your 'mate'?" Kuza asked "I didn't think that would pass to a human"
"Well since I'm the fox summoner and have Kurama sealed in me it did." Naruto replied getting Sakura to calm down a bit listening to them
"You mean the fox seal?" Sakura asked
"Yeah I guess this is one of the side effects of it, you can talk to fox's now." Naruto determined
"Well let's hope there isn't that many more side effects I don't want to sprout ears or a tail or anything." Sakura sighed
"Too late." Inner said with glee.
'You don't count.' Sakura sighed to herself
"But I just don't understand how it was passed to her she isn't a fox summoner or have any demon chakra." Kuza replied
"Well last night while we were… um" Naruto began but started to explain but got embarrassed and began to stutter
"When you were mounting her?" Kuza offered
"Well not mounting but… ah let's just go with mating." Naruto said getting blush across his face "Kurama transferred some of his chakra to her so the seal would form."
"I didn't think he could do that." Kuza replied
"Oh mounting that sounds like fun." Inner said with an evil smile
'What are you on about now.' Sakura sighed
"Oh just us on all fours as he is thrusting into us from behind fox style." Inner said as Sakura went bright red "Him grabbing our hips to thrust deeper and…." Inner continued as the image became clear in her head and she had to shake it away.
"Well I'm going to take a shower and get ready to head out." Naruto said as he got off the bed and walked over to the bathroom and Sakura heard the shower turn on.
"Go follow him." Inner pushed
'What no.' Sakura replied
"Why not he is our mate now and probably wants our company in there." Inner said with a mischievous grin.
'Well you are right he is our mate and mates do help clean each other.' Sakura thought as she got up and headed to the bathroom as well.
'Well he got a good one it looks like.' Kuza said as he curled up into a ball too take a nap 'but I'll never let her know that'
Later that day Naruto and Sakura checked out of the inn and began walking down the road.
"So Kuza you find raven?" Naruto asked Kuza
"Yeah and said if he is ready so is he." Kuza said "he will be waiting at the old Uchiha lookout"
"Wait who are we going to see?" Sakura asked with a bit of anger
"Your old team mate I need to finish a deal I made with him." Naruto said with a sideways grin.
"What how could you make a deal with that bastard he nearly killed me?" Sakura demanded
"You just had to pick the vixen with the short fuse didn't you?" Kuza sighed
"Hey you stay out of this." Sakura said looking over at the fox then turned back to Naruto "Why?" she demanded with fury in her eyes
"Because it was mutually benifitial." Naruto said but this only made her angrier he just sighed and said "I made a deal with him when I saved you that if I let him go to Orochimaru and when he was done training with the snake he would help me collect his bounty, and I would help him get revenge on his brother." This got a shocked look from Sakura
"You mean you took down Orochimaru?" Sakura asked
"Yes and that is why I got into bed with you back at my place I had spent the entire night fighting that bastard with the human cannon ball and was too tired to realize I left you in my bed." Naruto said
"Well that is disappointing he hadn't done that internally." Inner said "but oh well we got him in the end"
'Not now inner' Sakura shot back
"Now I made a deal with him and I always follow through on my deals" Naruto said
"So you sent Kuza to find Itachi so you could tell Sasuke where he was?" Sakura asked
"Something like that." Naruto replied
"Fine whatever." Sakura sighed with irritation "I'll go along with it for now. But he tries anything I'll kill that bastard myself."
"Think I'm starting to like this one." Kuza chimed in with a grin
"Anyway how are we going to find him to tell him about it anyway we have had teams out looking for him for three years and never got a trace of him. How are we supposed to find him while Itachi is still in this place? Sakura asked
"Oh ye of little faith." Naruto said as Kuza jumped into his shadow and he wrapped an arm around her and everything went bright yellow.
"Well you finally took out that bomb guy, so do we have any idea where we are going now?" Suigetsu complained as he sipped his drink
"Doesn't matter where I go as long as I'm with Sasuke I'll be fine." Jugo said
"One thing me and the big guy can agree on." Karin cued as she snuggled up to Sasuke who didn't even react to it.
"Geez if you three want to start going at, I'll leave you guys alone." Suigetsu sighed as Karin began to fum
"Damn't Suigetsu I…." Karin began but was cut off as a yellow flash appeared out of nowhere.
"The hell was that?" Came a new female voice as a pink haired girl and red haired blonde tipped man appeared out of the flash
"Wait for it." Naruto said as a sick look appeared over Sakura's face and she ran over to the side of the road and began to vomit "Watch it that first jump is a doozy" he chuckled
"Ahahahah." Jugo roared as the curse mark took over and he charged at Nartuo who just looked back at the man and jumped away just before he was crushed.
"Whoe big guy stand down." Naruto said as he went through some hand signs and slammed his hand down and chains burst from the ground and wrapped around Jugo holding him in place.
"These won't hold me." Jugo yelled as he tried to pull away from the chains but he couldn't and he slowly began to turn back to normal. "What?" he asked in shock
"Please, these chains have held the nine tailed fox. You don't stand a chance." Naruto said with a smirk as the three members of Sasuke's team got a look of shock across their faces.
"You're saying you've gone up against the nine tailed fox?" Suigetsu asked in shock
"Every fucking day." Naruto sighed "The guy doesn't know when to shut up." He sighed getting a confused look from Suigetsu "I'm the jinchuriki, the holder of the nine tailed fox." He said getting another shocked look from the three "So you may be a monster but I'm a demon." He said as his eyes flashed red looking over at Jugo.
"That explains the fluctuations in your chakra." Karin said as she walked over to Jugo and inspected the chains.
"What you talking about?" Naruto asked
"I have a very high sensory for chakra, yours is warm and caring." Karin said as Sakura walked back up to the group
"Hey keep that shit to your self I have a reputation to uphold." Naruto said
"But you have a dark dreadful chakra as well." She said as a stroke of fear passed through her. "That must be the Fox's chakra."
"Think you got those switched around, the Kyubi is just a big happy fuzz ball" Naruto said with a smirk.
"I fucking hate you." Kurama shot at him just getting a smirk from Naruto
"What I want to know is how you know this technique?" Karin asked looking up at him from next to Jugo. "These are chains are an Uzumaki bloodline limit"
"Because my mother was an Uzumaki." Naruto said getting a wide eyed look from Karin
"Then we come from the same clan then. I should have known, with the red hair but the blonde threw me off." Karin said as she stood up.
"Well that is from my dad Minato Namikaze." Naruto said as another look of shock shot across her face and a confused one went across Suigetsu's
"What is that supposed to mean something?" Suigetsu asked
"He is the son of the fourth hokage the yellow flash, one of the deadliest ninja's in the third ninja war." Karin said "And since he appeared in a yellow flash he has the same jutsu that made the yellow flash so deadly."
"Bingo." Naruto said
"Enough Fox did you come here to freak out my team or do you have what I want" Sasuke cut them off getting agitated.
"Of course, your brother is waiting for you at the old Uchiha lookout tower." Naruto replied
"Good, I don't have any more use for you. You can leave." Sasuke replied
"Oh what and miss the grudge match of the year? No way in hell." Naruto said with a grin
"Fine but just keep that one in check I don't want her all over me like before." Sasuke said looking over at Sakura who just began to fume
"Oh don't worry I got over that whole crush thing when you tried to kill me." Sakura said "Besides now I'm with a real man." She said as she walked over to Naruto and put her arms around him and kissed him.
"Going from the prodigy of the village to a low level merc your standards have dropped considerably." Sasuke said
"At least he would fight to protect me instead of kill me for being in his way." Sakura shot back "Besides if I had gotten with you, you would probably just knock me up and ditch me with the kid but still want your name on them to rebuild your dead clan."
At hearing this Sasuke shot over to her and reached for her throat but stopped as he realized Naruto had drawn his sword and it was at his throat.
"Lay a hand on my mate and I'll make hell look like paradise." Naruto said with demonic aura and eyes.
Sasuke just looked at him and his face went from rage to that uncaring look of his then put his hand back at his side and turned around. "Fine keep her, she isn't worthy of my bloodline."
At this Sakura was about to go berserk but Naruto put his arm in front of her to stop her. "Don't let him get to you." He said getting her to calm her down. "But lets all be friends." He said as he snapped his fingers and the chains around Jugo went back into the ground "You going to play nice big guy?"
"You suppressed the curse form." Jugo said in shock as he looked at himself "I will do anything you ask of me."
"Good to know." Naruto said as he turned to Sasuke "Shall we go?"
"What ever." Sasuke sighed as he began to walk away. As Naruto walked up next to him.
"Oh and if you insult my mate like that again you won't make it to the grudge match." Naruto said in a stern voice but quite enough only Sasuke could hear it.
The group traveled for a while till they finally saw the old outpost coming into view.
"Is that it?" Suigetsu asked
"Yes." Sasuke replied
"Finally." Suigetsu said as he stretched out.
"Couldn't agree more took you long enough." Came a new voice. The group looked over to see someone that looked half man and half shark
"Ah Kisame, Been awhile." Naruto said with a smirk
"Ah Fox good to see you." Kisame said with a smile "Maybe this trip will be worthwhile after all."
"Sorry there man I'm not your opponent he is." Naruto said pointing over at Suigetsu.
"I don't care about your squabble, where is my brother." Sasuke demanded
"He is up at the tower waiting for you I am just here to make sure no one interrupts your fight." Kisame said
"They know this is my fight and not to interfere." Sasuke replied as he headed of toward where his brother was waiting for him.
"Well at least I have some entertainment." Kisame said with a grin.
"Let's get this over with I will claim that sword of yours and take my rightful place as one of the seven swordsmen." Suigetsu said.
"Enough of this," Naruto said as he slumped down on a rock "Get the pregame show started already. If I miss the main event I'm kiciking someone's ass." At this both Suigetsu and Kisame looked at him in confusion.
"Whatever let's get this started." Suigetsu said as he drew out the sword Naruto had lent him and charged Kisame who easily blocked the strike.
"Good this will be fun." Kisame said with a grin and pushed him back and they began their fight.
The pair began their fight as everyone else took a seat next to Naruto.
"Hey Naruto-kun isn't that sword yours?" Sakura said looking over at Naruto who didn't even acknowledge her question. "Hey I asked…" she said him but he fell forward to reveal it was just a cardboard cutout with a note on it.
Sakura leaned over and picked up the note that was taped to the back of the cut out and it read 'sorry never liked pregame shows, I'm heading off to the main event.'
She read this and began to get mad then just sighed. "Well I should have seen this coming."
"Where did Fox go?" Karin asked
"Off to do his own thing like always." Sakura sighed as she slumped down
Naruto entered the hideout and looked around and finally found the main room with Sasuke standing in front of a throne type chair with Itachi sitting in it neither of them moving.
"Ah damn't they're stuck in each others genjutsus what will I do while they are stuck like this." Naruto sighed as he got a wicked grin across his face as he had an idea.
After a few minutes both Sasuke and Itachi came out of their genjutsu. But once they looked at each other and both got a look of shock on their faces.
"Why do you have cat whiskers on your face?" Sasuke asked
"Why do you have a dick drawn on yours?" Itachi asked
"Wait only one person I know with this sense of humor." Sasuke said in a low irritated tone. "FOX!" Sasuke yelled as he looked of to the side to see Naruto sitting against the wall eating a bag of popcorn.
"Alright let's get this grudge match on." Naruto said in a joyful tone as Sasuke began to seath.
"Damn't I told you this was between me and him for what he did to our family." Sasuke nearly yelled.
"I'm just here to watch." Naruto said holding up his hands in innocence's
"Good stay back then." Sasuke said as he got into a fighting stance.
"Alright as long as you know why you're fighting him." Naruto shrugged
"For killing our family of course." Sasuke said.
"But ask yourself why did he do it?" Naruto asked
"He told me when he did it, to test his own strength." Sasuke said
"But that is not what he told me when I first met him." Naruto said with a grin
"I never told you about that when we met." Itachi said.
"Oh our first meeting you were pretty sloshed." Naruto said "I had just gotten back from Fiore and it was the anniversary of your deed."
FLASH BACK
A nine year old Naruto gets off of a ship flying a flag with the skull and cross bones wearing a straw hat.
"Later Naruto hope you find what you're looking for." A man in a red vest wearing a straw hat yelled as Naruto waved to him and walked into town.
"Ah the demon islands perfect place to start my mercenary career." Naruto said to himself with a smile as he walked into the closest bar and found it nearly empty. Except a single man with black hair wearing a long black cloak with red clouds.
Naruto walks up and pulls up the stool a few spots down from the man who already had quite a few beer mugs in front of him.
"Let me get whatever is on draft." Naruto said to the bartender
"Are you eighteen?" the bartender asked
"The drink age is twenty-one." Naruto replied
"Oh right." The bartender said as he poured Naruto his drink and set it in front of him.
"Seems you're getting a head start on the party." Naruto called over to the man.
"You could ssssssay tthat *hicupp*" the man said
"What seems to be the problem?" Naruto asked as he went over to the seat next to the man
"Only that today is the anniversary of the massacre of my entire clan." The man said
"Well at least you got out right?" Naruto said trying to cheer him up.
"I'm the one who did it." The man said as he finished his drink and set it down and looked at the young blonde. Immediately Naruto got on the defensive as he saw the head band of a leaf ninja but relaxed a bit once he saw the slash through it.
"You're Itachi Uchiha aren't you?" Naruto asked
"Oh even a child has heard of my greatest sin." Itachi said
"I gotta ask why did you do it?" Naruto asked
"To protect my little brother." Itachi said
"By making him an orphan?" Naruto asked "I been on that road my whole life it ain't a damn picnic."
"At least he is alive." Itachi said as he finished yet another drink.
"And he wouldn't be if they were alive?" Naruto asked
"My clan was going to start a war and not only him but so many would die in the fall out of that war and I couldn't let that happen." Itachi said "so I killed them and took all the blame." He finished as he washed down another drink and fell face first on to the bar and passed out.
END FLASHBACK
"And that was our first meeting." Naruto said
"I've trained to resist the worst forms of interrogation and I spill my guts to and underage child in a bar." Itachi sighed as he shook his head.
"Is this true?" Sasuke said
"Yes." Itachi said "The clan was going to start a coup and I couldn't allow that I had seen enough bloodshed in my life and I was still so young. I couldn't allow them to put you, the village the entire world at risk of falling into another war."
"WHY?!" Sasuke yelled "Why would you sacrifice your own freedom for them? They don't even know and don't even care."
"Because that is the purpose of a ninja." Itachi said "We sacrifice ourselves for the good of our village, for those we care about."
"I won't stand for this they must pay for your sacrifice." Sasuke said in anger. Just then Sasukes head snapped forward as Naruto slapped him in the back of the head.
"Dumb ass it was his choice." Naruto said as Sasuke looked back at him "It's not like the village made him do it or anything. Besides if anyone is going to burn that place to the ground it'll be me." Naruto said as he pointed his thumb toward himself.
"Yes I accepted the mission." Itachi said getting both Naruto and Sasuke just stopped and looked over at him.
"Mission?" Sasuke asked getting Itachi to look at him in shock that he revealed that information.
"Let me guess Danzo?" Naruto asked
"Yes he gave the order." Itachi said
"Then he is the one I will kill." Sasuke said.
"Oh now now Itachi just spilling your guts so easily?" came a new voice
"I know that voice." Kurama said with anger "and this scent."
"I was hoping to recruit Sasuke after he killed you but that looks like it is up in flames." Said the voice in a happy joking tone as a man wearing a black cloak with red clouds appeared and had a swirling orange mask with a single eye hole.
"That's him the man who unleashed me on the leaf." Kurama said as he snapped his jaws "he has a different mask but that is him I would recognize that scent anywhere."
"And who do we have here?" Naruto said looking at the man
"Oh ho look we even have the nine tailed Jinchuriki." The man said
"His name is Tobi." Itachi said "But that is only his cover he is the real leader of the Akatsuki, his real name is Madara Uchiha."
"So you figured me out." Madara said in a more serious tone. "But I have also known about your little secret since we slaughtered your clan I knew you were going to spy on our organization."
"So I was blown from the beginning." Itachi said "That explains why I was always sent off with Kisame."
"Of course didn't want you meddling to much in our plans." Madara said "But you began going off and doing your own thing like passing along information to our targets."
"Oh I'm assuming you're talking about me now?" Naruto asked
"But of course if he hadn't warned you about our plans of collecting the tailed beasts we would have more than just four."
"Which of my brothers do you have?" Naruto asked
"The one but you already knew that." Madara said "as well as the three, four and five."
"I warned them but they wouldn't listen." Naruto sighed
"Oh but the others have and it has been a lot more difficult to collect them." Madara said
"You will pay for this." Naruto said "But first I want to get one thing straight."
"And what would that be?" Madara asked
"You're claiming to be the Madara Uchiha the one that fought the first, correct?" Naruto asked
"Is there any other one?" Madara asked
"Well you sure as hell don't smell like him." Naruto said getting a taken aback reaction from him.
"And how would you know that?" Madara asked
"Oh just that bundle of joy I got sealed in me that has dealt with the original Madara." Naruto said "But you are the one who attacked the village when I was born and the one who was controlling Isobu"
"Very well I may not be the original one but you can call me by that name anyway." Madara said "And I will come for you and the beast you hold." He said as he began to fade into a swirl.
"And I will come for you for helping wipe out my clan." Sasuke said.
"Oh I look forward to it." Madara said as he vanished.
"So what we are just all friends now is that it." Naruto asked
"Well I guess we can start working on taking out the Akatsuki." Itachi said
"I don't care about them I just want Danzo and Madara." Sasuke said.
"Then you will have to get a lot better." Itachi said "And I can help you there." At this Sasuke looked at him in shock "It's well over due." He said with a smile
Just then there was and explosion and the three of them looked outside and saw a massive bubble of water.
"Looks like your friend may need our help." Itachi said as they all jumped toward the water bubble.
The fight between Kisame and Suigetsu had escalated rapidly. Sakura and what was left of Sasuke's team had jumped out of the way of the massive bubble.
"Damn't why did they have to take it this far?" Sakura asked no one in particular as she landed on a tree branch looking up at the massive water bubble.
"Because he is an idiot." Karin said as she landed next to her.
"Guess the pregame show was the good one after all." came Naruto's voice as he landed on the branch above them. Just then Sasuke and Itachi landed on another branch.
"The hell is he doing here?" Karin barked. "I thought you came here to kill him?" she asked
"I did but things have changed." Sasuke said looking up at the water bubble with his sharingan.
"What it look like in there?" Naruto asked
"I can't tell I see Kisame but no one else." Itachi said
"Because Kisame just made a major mistake." Sasuske said "Suigetsu can turn himself into water." He said with a smirk as the water began to rage and Kisame was hurtled to the ground within the bubble and the water formed a point and skewed him to the ground just then Suigetsu formed there with the blade Naruto had given him.
Suigetsu stood over Kisame's body and pulled out the sword and lopped of the shark man's head. He then tossed the sword over to Naruto and said "Thanks for the loaner but I got my own now, and I'm sure this guy has a good size bounty on his head" he added as he tossed Kisame's head to Naruto, he then walked over and picked up the scaly sword Kisame had and put it on his back.
"So what now?" Suigetsu asked looking over at Sasuke and Itachi.
"Well you guys can do whatever you want I am going to train with my brother." Sasuke said
"Well fine just leave us high and dry." Suigetsu said
"Well I know the mist is always looking for good ninja and if you tell them I sent you, you'll be welcome." Naruto said.
"Why, so they can experiment on me like Orochimaru did?" Suigetsu asked.
"The mist is no longer like that Mei and her husband have really turned that place around." Naruto said
"What Mei got married?" Sakura asked in shock.
"Yeah she married Zabuza and they have a kid on the way." Naruto said
"What Zabuza senpai married, and has a kid on the way?" Suigetsu said with a laugh "Now that is something I got to see. So I guess it is off to the mist for me." He said as he turned around and began to walk away
"I cannot leave Sasuke's side or I will lose control." Jugo said as he stepped up to Sasuke
"Oh no you don't I'm going with him too." Karin said
"As long as you don't hold me back." Sasuke said as he turned away to leave. "And Fox I'm sure we will cross paths again."
"Most likely." Naruto said with a grin as they left.
"Now what about us?" Sakura asked
"He is coming with me." Came a new voice as the pair looked back and saw a large eight tailed red fox. "You must come back and complete your sage training." The fox said.

A/N alright a few things for Itachi's whole drunkin confession thing I wanted to do that scene right after he did it so it was still fresh and he wasn't fully indoctrinated into the Akatsuke yet. But found out it happened while I had Naruto over with fairy tail, so I figured the anniversary would still be a sore spot. Also sorry for the cut off their fight but I wanted that reveal and not for Sasuke to be all 'destroy the village' mindset. And as for Suigetsu and Kisame's fight sorry for not going into detail on that I just didn't know how to write it. Also for suigetsu not following Sasuke, in the series it seemed he really only followed him around because he really didn't have any other options laid before him so I gave him one.
