Rena: This story is in Yuzu's POV. Please give me some artistic licence. If i put some stuff that isn't in the anime in here, don't flame. There would be no point in reading, if it was just the anime in words!

Chapter 46- The Rebellious Supreme King Black Dragon

I lay on the concrete, coughing and spluttering. What had just happened!? Who were those people who had appeared!? Who had rescued us!? I glanced over to see the Fusion-Dimension girl lying a few meters away from me, unconscious.

I slowly sat up, groaning, clutching my head. I looked around. It was just me and her. Our rescuers and the other lot were nowhere to be seen. Dennis had also vanished.

"Dennis…?" I croaked, staring around, rubbing my stinging eyes. "Dennis are you here?"

Suddenly, two pairs of feet appeared in front of me, I stared up to face two people wearing… Ninja uniform? They both wore bandanas over their mouths and stared at me.

"Can you walk?" the one with the red bandana asked. I nodded slowly and they offered me their hands, so they could pull me up. I gripped them gratefully and found myself on my feet in milliseconds, my arms aching at their strong, sharp tug. These guys were strong.

The blue bandana one walked over to the purple haired girl, who was still silent. "She's out cold. We should move them, before we get found."

Red nodded, walking over to the girl and scooped her up, carrying her over his shoulder, as if she weighed nothing. Blue stood beside me and gestured to follow him. They kept to the shadows and moved quite quickly. Before I knew it, I could see the white and blue of the Iceberg area up ahead.

Then, the girl began to stir. She blinked a few times before she realised what was happening.

"Let go of me!" she screamed, wriggling like a worm in Red's grip. "Get your hands off me, you masked ninja! Why did you interfere in my fight?! Let me go!"

Eventually, when we had reached the iceberg area again, the ninja set her back on her feet. Either because we were far enough away or because he was fed up with her shouting, I had no idea.

"What are you after?" she demanded. "It doesn't seem like you were working with them!"

"Tsukikage," Red said turning to the other ninja, who was walking beside me. "I'll leave these two with you. There might be more of them nearby. I'll go check on the situation."

"Understood, brother," Blue- Tsukikage- replied, nodding, before his brother shot off, almost as if he had vanished into thin air.

"Who are those guys?" I asked Tsukikage, when his brother was gone.

"From what I have heard," he muttered darkly. I blinked, surprised he was telling me. I was expecting to be left in the dark and told to mind my own business. "They are from Academia in the Fusion Dimension."

"Academia?" I started, turning back to the purple headed girl. "Then you must be Ruri after all! Did you escape the Fusion Dimension by yourself!? Those people from Academia are chasing you…"

"I'm Selena!" she snapped. "My name is certainly not Ruri!"

I took a step back. "Selena…?"

"It's true that they are from Academia and they are out to capture me… But I won't be captured! Even without this ninja's help, I could have fended them off myself!" she pointed at Tsukikage accusingly. He didn't seem to be too bothered as he just turned and faced away from her, clearly uninterested by the whole affair.

"Out to capture you…?" I asked her. "Why are they after you?"

"It's obvious!" she said, even though it wasn't obvious at all, at least not to me. "They are obeying the Professor's commands!"

"Professor?"

"In Academia, the Professor's words are absolute. We are not allowed to disobey him. But I disobeyed his rules in order to prove to him my own power! If I eliminate all the XYZ remnants in Standard, the Professor will regret not sending me out to the front lines! That's why-!"

"That's why you duelled Dennis!?" I interrupted her.

"I had the wrong idea about him." She said stiffly.

"So, that means you are from Academia? And by the front lines, you mean the XYZ dimension!"

"That's right! All my comrades went to the XYZ dimension and were able to display their skills honourably! But I alone was to stay behind on the Professor's orders." She scowled, looking like a girl who had been wrongly sent to her room for no reason.

"Do you even know what Academia did to the XYZ dimension!?" I cried. "XYZ dimension, Ruri's homeland, was a peaceful place! Until that day came…"

On that day, our enemy attacked us without warning and turned out homeland into a battlefield.

"I heard that people from Academia constantly attacked the people of the XYZ dimension with smiles on their faces. As if they were taking part in a hunting game…"

The ones being hunted are always you! Now and forever more! We all huntedyou, just for fun! Because all of you were just pray for ourhunting games!"

The sun was setting, the ice from the field turning beautiful shades of orange and gold.

"Ridiculous," Ruri smirked.

"Huh?" I gasped.

"Laughing as if it was a game?" she said. "The Duellists of the Academia are warriors! They wouldn't do something so foolish!"

"Are you saying that they are lying!?" I demanded, remembering the pained looks of Yuto and Kurosaki, when they called me Ruri, daring to hope it was her, after all the horrors they had faced. Horrors I could only imagine.

"Academia has a noble objective!" Selena told me. "The objective to make all worlds one!"

"Make the world one?" I repeated her words.

"The invasion of the XYZs Dimension was for that purpose. Eventually, we will assimilate the Synchro Dimension and this one, the Standard Dimension, and unite all the worlds! All of Academia's soldiers are trained with that objective! Prideful warriors like that would never do such things!"

"What pride is there, bringing other people grief!?" I shrieked.

"What do they have to grieve over?" she chuckled, looking at me as if I was a small child, to young, innocent and stupid to understand. "The XYZs duellists should have their own pride too! Even if they lose their lives, if they fought with their all, they should be able to accept the results and-"

I grabbed her shoulders, making her stare me in the face. "Are you telling them to shut up and accept it when they lose their families as well!?"

She looked shocked, I couldn't tell if it was because I was holding her in place or because she had never thought of any of these things.

"Academia didn't just bring grief to the XYZs duellists, but to their friends and family as well!" I shouted.

"Are their families not duellists?" Ruri asked.

"Kurosaki and Yuto are fighting to save Ruri, Kurosaki's little sister, from Academia!"

"To save her?" Ruri repeated my words.

"Kurosaki Shun is the remnant you are after!" I let go of her and glared. "If you don't believe me, then go ask him yourself!"

She stood there in silence, thinking. "I understand," she said finally. "I will meet this XYZs Duellist called Kurosaki and check if what you said is true."

I nodded, taking a few seconds to calm down and assess the situation. "I know!" I said, after a minute. "Let's swap clothes!"

"Clothes?" she looked at me, as if I had just gone insane.

"It'd be a hassle if you were found by Academia before you got to Kurosaki, right?" I smiled.

"I see…" she rubbed her chin in thought. "So you're willing to be my double and draw their attention away from me?"

"Exactly!" I said, trying to push the images of me being chased by those creepy people in the masks and blazers out of my head.

"Yosh," she said, beginning to fumble with her clothes.

"W-W-Wait a second!" I waved my arms in the air.

"Why?" she snapped.

"Don't give me that!" I grabbed her arm and led her behind a rock. "Now, let's change!"

"Okay…" she nodded, looking completely bewildered.

"You hear that!?" I shouted over to the ninja. "We're changing, got it!?"

"Understood," he turned his head away from us.

After a few minutes of scrambling and swapping items of clothing, we were done. I stood admiring the red jacket. "This will do it!" I said with a grin. Selena observed herself, looking like she was unsure of what to make of my uniform.

"Kurosaki wasn't in the volcano or jungle area…" I told her. "All that's left is…"

"The ancient ruins," we both said in unison, while nodding at the same time.

Then, we took off in opposite directions.

Cat: Whew! Another chapter done! Now onto 47! ¬_¬

Yuya or Yugo?

Yugo seems so cool! I love him so much! And he's only been in the show for like, 10 minutes in total! But he seems so funny! But is he cooler than Yuya?

And, by the way, for any people who watch the Fairy Tail anime, Dennis' voice actor is Natsu O.o I don't like Dennis but i love Natsu! _ inner conflictions...
