I have no idea what I just wrote but here it is anyways...
XXX
Dawn believes in fairy tales. (she used to ignore them)
When she was a child she always ignored the story of the hero and the villain and would run outside wild and young and free with the wind in her hair and dream about the future. She made friend easily with the pokemon of the woods and lived life untamed. (run little hero in your gilded cage for one day you will pick the lock)
She made friends with humans too, Barry brilliant Barry who shone like her and whose father ran the tower on a far off island. (was a king in a far way land)
Barry who wanted to prove himself worthy of his father's respect. (to find his throne)
Dawn who didn't care for her mother's shadow or the contests she fought, Dawn who wanted to lead and not follow. (and isn't that what heroes do?)
So the children ran and played and laughed away their childhood running in the sun and dancing in the rain. (such a lovely childhood they had)
And one day when they turned ten the professor came and gave them their first pokemon. (an old man who bound them with the magic in the word partner)
They weren't the only ones though, with them was Lucas the professor's assistant and the three left to travel the world. (such a magic number, three)
But all was not right in the world they lived in for a man believed in what was right. (to him, but in the end does that really matter?)
Dawn wondered and fought her rival until she came upon a little girl. (come little hero the fight has begun)
And she fought. (for what was right to her but does that really matter?)
So she helped the girl who begged for help. (first strike)
And then she met up with Lucas who had his pokedex stolen and fought with him to get it back, she stormed the base and fought and won. (every story has its underdog)
Then she wandered and fought Barry as they ran for their dreams and tried to ignore the pull she felt (little hero stories are all around you, if only, if only, if only)
The lake blew up and amidst the fire on the banks and the corpses of the pokemon they swore revenge. (strike two)
So they wandered again but this time seemed darker than before and all could feel the storm beneath the surface. She met up with Cynthia. (a mentor, every hero needs a mentor)
And things came to a head. There is a mountain with a man at the top and a girl at the bottom. (strike three)
They run up the mountain as the world changes around them. The men's team fights to back him up and they pray in their hearts. (but what's a miracle without sacrifice)
The boys tell Dawn to go on, to fight and to win so she does because she believes in her friends/she has no other choice. (The clock is ticking little hero)
They fall, but take the other side with them as she makes it to the top. (Here is your miracle little hero, if the prince isn't the hero he's just as disposable as anyone else)
Cynthia shows Dawn they way into distortion, and the stories start to mix.
Dawn(hero) fights with her will (pokemon) because she has to win.
Light and light (darkness and darkness) swirl around the pair as they decide who is the true hero to fight the fallen god (because heros must slay demons)
The hero's (fight) she wins against the man who was a hero in his own mind (and then comes the god)
Dawn does not want to fight but she no longer has a choice and fights the (devil) fallen god with all she has. (She wins)
(The hero defeats the demon and returns victorious only to mourn her prince/rival and fellow apprentice/friend's sacrifice.
Dawn knows her life is a fairy tale but she is still looking for a happily ever after. (She wishes she had listened to the stories)
