Rays of Afternoon Sun
When Blaine got back home from his trip to the grocery store, the house was silent aside from a loud purring noise. He shut the door quietly behind him, tiptoed to the living room, and instantly smiled at the lovely display spread in front of him.
There were two figures lying on a stain of sunlight on the carpet- Kurt and Brittany, curled together, purring up a storm.
Kurt was always a light sleeper, and his ear twitched at the sense of Blaine's presence. It took him a second before lifting his head from the pillow it was laid on, blinking at Blaine sleepily.
Blaine pressed a finger to his mouth, and gestured at Brittany, who was hugging Kurt and snoring lightly in time with her purrs, her tail wrapped around her ankle.
Go back to sleep, Blaine mouthed at him.
Kurt shifted, cuddling up to Brittany more comfortably, and blew a kiss at Blaine.
Blaine blew a kiss back, and watched as Kurt's eyelids dropped and he sank back into blissful sleep.
