Christmas Cards
Kurt was fussing over every little detail. He made Blaine change his posture a hundred times, hold the baby in one hand and then the other and then both, telling him to hold still while he straightened his bowtie for him, fixing the camera's location, taking too many pictures to count… And in the end, he still wasn't pleased.
"Try holding her-"
"Kurt. Seriously, we've been at this for half an hour. She's going to wake up soon," he pointed out.
Kurt sighed. "Can you please just hold her up one more time, for me?"
Blaine obeyed, putting on a smile instead of frowning, and held their baby up against his chest.
Kurt pressed the button on the camera, and ran to sit down next to Blaine as the red light flickered faster and faster.
Blaine, tired of sitting down and smiling, waited for the last second and then swiftly grabbed Kurt's face and pressed their lips together- the flash was red behind his closed eyelids.
Kurt broke the kiss apart as soon as he realized what had happened. "B, come on, I'm trying to make out Christmas cards look good!"
"They will," Blaine smiled. "They have you in them."
Kurt narrowed his eyes. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Hummel-Anderson."
Blaine kissed him again, fast and hard. "Nowhere but your pants."
He hit Blaine's arm, but a grin was spread on his lips. "Don't talk like that around her." Kurt stroked her tiny face; she smacked her lips.
"She's three weeks old and asleep. A state in which she'll stay for a few more minutes, so I suggest I'll go put her down and we can use that precious time."
Kurt rolled his eyes. "Horndog."
Blaine got up from the couch. "You love me." He winked at Kurt, and headed to the pink-colored bedroom, humming a tune to himself.
