Asami's POV

"Glad you could make it."

I smiled at my best friend. Lilly was on her hip, trying to shove her fist in her mouth, drool dripping from her mouth. I waved at the six month old and she grinned, showing off those two bottom teeth just poking through her gums.

"Of course. You sounded like you needed help," I replied, reaching to take Lilly as Korra let me in the house.

Korra sighed, rubbing her temples before smiling slightly, pushing out a laugh. "I want to get around and take a shower but it's hard with Speedy 2.0 there crawling around and getting into everything."

I laughed, looking at the little girl in my arms. "Are you giving Mommy a hard time?" I asked her. All I got in return was a slobbery grin and I used the bib around her neck to clean it away.

"Where is Jason?" I asked as I handed Lilly her toy train.

Korra yawned leaning against the arm of the sofa her eyes closing. "Mako went to pick him up from Pro Bending practice," she managed to mutter.

I stifled a laugh at that. My best friend must have been really worn out for her to just completely relax. I studied her for a moment, noticing the black around her eyes and how she even looked a bit slimmer. We all knew Lilly was a handful, her parents had often talked about how Korra had been the same way as a toddler and how she became even more energetic after she figured out how to bend.

It wasn't hard to picture a baby Korra bending three out of the four elements at her will. I could only imagine that she'd pull her hair out when her Speedy 2.0 figured out how to bend.

Mako's POV

Lilly was driving Korra nuts. That was the only way to put it. At first she was good, sleeping through most of the night and taking her daily naps which was something she had in common with me as a child. But as soon as she started crawling, it became a full time job to keep up with her whereabouts. She had even taken Jason's old nickname, Speedy and given it to her, except our daughter's was Speedy 2.0. It had gotten so bad keeping up with her that she'd had to call Asami over to babysit while I had gone to pick up our little Firebender from Pro Bending practice. When I arrived home she was sound asleep, Lilly tugging at her aunt's hair.

Needless to say that when Lilly started to Bend, it was really a second job.

"Mako! I told you not to leave glasses of water around!" I heard Korra shout when the baby knocked over a glass of water from the table.

I cursed under my breath, having completely forgotten Speedy 2.0 had recently learned how to Bend. "Sorry," I apologized, picking up the toddler who grinned at me. "You are really driving mommy crazy," I whispered to her.

She giggled in response.

Senna's POV

The years passed and Lilly was now two years old. She was as energetic as ever, getting into trouble all the time. It was a job keeping up with her. Not long after she started to walk Jason had brought her over, holding her hand. My husband had cheered on the tiny toddler, picking her up and bathing her with kisses, listening to her little giggle. She was just like Korra had been at that age, and she deffinetly had her sense of adventure.

Not long after that we'd seen our grandchild come in on her own with the stuffed bear she carried around. After knocking over a few glasses of water, I'd decided to put everything out of her reach, watching Tonraq interact with her before our other grandchild ran inside the house asking if we had seen his sister. It didn't take us long to figure out that the mischievous toddler had snuck out of the house and nearly gave our little girl a heart attack.

This is why when I walked into their home I was surprised that I couldn't hear a single sound. Usually Korra would be running around, yelling at Mako and Jason for leaving cups of water around that Lilly could use. But today it was completely silent.

I noticed a note on the counter from Mako, saying he would be home late and that Jason was going to be at his Aunt Asami's house. I noticed that the home was neater than usual, a few toys scattered here and there but otherwise clean.

As I continued through the house I heard noise coming from the master bedroom. I opened the door and what I saw made me smile. Korra was on her side, hair loose, fast asleep with an arm wrapped protectively around a smaller figure. Lilly was curled up next to her mother, breathing in and out peacefully as she slept, a book next to her mother's limp hand. I sat down on the bed, pulling up the blanket to cover them both, brushing the hair away from my daughter's face.

Children typically have a parent they get along with better than the other, for Jason it was Korra but for Lilly it was Mako. I suspected it was because he would laugh at what she did, and let her get away with it. And I also knew that Korra feared she wouldn't have a relationship with her daughter. But the scene in front of me told me just the opposite. My grandchild loved her mother.

I noticed the camera on the nightstand and took a picture of the two, smiling. Moments like this deserved to be saved.

Jason's POV

I sighed in relief when the bell rang. School was finally out. Don't get me wrong, I liked going to school and my grades were pretty good, but sometimes I just wanted to be home with my parents and little sister.

I walked out of my class, heading over to the elementary building were Lilly was. The ups about going to a private school were that everyone was together on the same campus, but in different buildings until 12th grade. The downs were that you were stuck with the same people every year.

"Bubba!"

I smiled and turned around to see the little eight year old Waterbender run towards me. I heard snickering behind me and turned to glare at the group of older boys. Lilly glared at them but I threw an arm around her and lead her to the door.

"Bye, Bubba!" They all smirked sarcastically before bursting into a round of obnoxious laughter.

My sister turned to glare at them again but I took her hand and led her out the gates. I knew she hated it when people made fun of me, but I couldn't care less. I had always liked when she called me Bubba and considering it had been her first word it was special. I wouldn't let anyone take that from me.

"Is Aunt Asami picking us up at the park?" she asked after a moment, looking up at me with her big blue eyes.

I shook my head. "Not today. Uncle Bo will."

She grinned and handed me her backpack when she spotted some of the girls from her class on the playground. I took a seat in the shade, against a tree, pulling out my notebook to get some homework done. Every now and then I'd look up to see how the little Waterbender was doing, laughing when I saw her showing off like always. Mom had gotten around to teaching her the basics and though she didn't train with her every day, Gran Gran and Grandad would practice with her when they could.

However, when I saw the same group of older boys and their younger brothers I knew it was going to be trouble. I picked up my bag and hers and walked over to where she was, taking her hand in mine to lead her away.

"Aww come on, Jason, we don't mean any harm," Jack said.

"Yeah, Jason, we just want to have some fun," Dave added, cutting me off.

"Let us through," I said, managing to sound civil. But my hand instinctively tightened it's hold on Lilly's.

"Or what? You're gonna call your mommy?"

"Don't say anything about my mom!" Lilly snapped, getting out of my hold. She been exposed to the rumors about our mother since she'd started school. She hated them. Even though I could admit that some of them held actual facts.

"I don't want any trouble, just let us go," I persisted. I really didn't want to fight with them. I didn't need Bei Fong bringing us home.

"The only trouble around here is your mom, the all mighty Avatar. Isn't that right boys?" Frank joined in.

"He wouldn't know that," Jack countered. "Because she isn't even-"

"Enough!" I shouted, Bending a ring of fire around us, forcing them to back off. I hadn't even really meant to do it.

"Did he just try to burn us?"

"He's just like that monster!"

"Let's teach him a lesson!"

I silently cursed when I saw them surround us. I didn't want to fight, but there was no way I was going to let them hurt my sister. And by the look on Lilly's face, I wasn't going to fight this battle alone. The lunged forward, and I decided to play fair, knowing they couldn't Bend, using the hand to hand combat skills Mom had taught me.

I kicked Jack away, looking over my shoulder to see where my sister was before going to her aid. The fight had only started when I heard a loud whistle and the boys immediately stopped and scattered. I picked up our bags and made a move to leave but our path was blocked by a two familiar officers.

I groaned.

Mom was going to be ticked.

Korra's POV

I was just getting dinner done when I heard a knock on the door.

School had been out for an hour and I had been worrying about why the kids weren't home. However, I didn't think I'd be greeted by the Chief of Police with my kids. I immediately felt my heart sink. Had something happened to Mako? Why wasn't my brother in law here? Had something happened to him?

"What happened-"

"I caught them both fighting," Lin said cutting me off as she released them both to me.

I nodded my head, feeling slightly relieved at the news. Both kids walked over to me, Jason with his head down while Lilly ran to hide behind my leg, gripping my pants. "It won't happen again," I assured. I didn't know why it had happened in the first place but I didn't want a repeat.

"It better not," the Chief replied, her tone business as usual. "But it looks like the apple didn't fall far from the tree."

I took a deep breath as she left, closing the door before turning around to look at the pair, crossing my arms over my chest. They had some explaining to do.

"They started it," my daughter finally said, sounding upset.

"I've told you I don't want you fighting."

"The kids were saying bad things about you, Momma."

I sighed and knelt down to her level. "Kids are always going to say bad things about me. That doesn't give you a reason to punch them out."

She opened her mouth to speak when her brother cut her off, his head still down. "I started the fight."

I was surprised. "You?" I asked. This was a first. He never... I turned to look at the little Waterbender. "Lilly, go to your room. I'll call you when dinner is ready."

"But Bubba didn't do anything," she replied with a little pout. "Don't be mad at him."

I managed a smile. "I know. Go get ready for lunch." I waited until I heard the door shut before looking at the Firebender. "Jason I know you. You usually know when to walk away. What did they say to you?"

"They tried to say I wasn't your son. In front of Lilly. I just..."

I understood.

It was something Jason had always feared. Lilly didn't know that her Bubba wasn't her brother by blood. She was still too young to understand what it meant but none of us wanted her to find out. It didn't matter to us that Jason hadn't been born of me but people just couldn't mind their own damn business.

"You know you're my son," I reminded him. "That's never going to change."

"I don't want her to find out," he replied quietly, his amber eyes looking up at me. "I don't want her to know, Mom." I sighed and wrapped my arms around him, feeling him return the embrace. I hated that I couldn't protect them from everything.

Mako's POV

"Momma!"

It was Lilly's cry that woke us. Earlier I had come home to find out that she and Jason had gotten in a fight. Lin had told me the details but Korra explained that it was one of the boy's taunts that finally made the younger Firebender snap. None of us wanted our daughter to find out about my wife's past or Jason's origins. She didn't need to know so although I understood, I also made it a point to the young teenager that we didn't want him fighting unless it was self-defense.

I felt my wife get up and I yawned before doing the same, following her out to our daughter's room. Jason came out of his room, sleepily rubbing his eyes and I managed a small smile, messing up his hair before telling him to go back to bed, that everything was okay. He did as he was told and I went back to his sister's room, listening as she explained to Korra about her nightmare, watching as she nodded her head, giving the younger Waterbender her full attention.

"Can I sleep with you and Dad?" she asked, giving the biggest puppy eyes

Korra chuckled in response, shaking her head. "No, you can't. Your dad and I have to get up early and you tend to kick us both out of bed with all your flailing."

"Can you sleep with me then?"

Korra looked over at me. I smiled in response and nodded my head. My wife smiled and lifted our daughter into her arms, wrapping the blanket around her. "How about I tell you a bedtime story, and I have Naga to sleep in here with you?" Korra tried.

Lilly smiled and nodded her head. "Can you tell me the dragons one?"

My wife chuckled and whistled, before starting the story. I moved to the side as the bug fluff of white made herself comfortable on the foot of the bed, curling herself into a ball. As I watched my two Waterbenders I couldn't help the smile that graced my face. We were a family, and that's all I ever wanted.

Korra's POV

I stifled a laugh as Mako wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. It was Halloween night and Asami had already called twice to ask what was taking so long. In all honesty my husband and I were wondering the same thing. Jason had insisted on keeping their costumes a surprise and to not let us see it. So that's how we had ended up waiting in the living room for them, backs to their rooms.

"What do you think they're doing?" Mako asked as he pulled away.

I shrugged just before I heard Jason's voice. "Don't look mom! Don't look dad!"

"We're not looking," we answered in sync for the third time.

I chuckled before resting my head against my Firebender's arm. "They said they wanted to be super heroes this year."

"Super heroes?"

I nodded before smirking. "Maybe Jason wants to dress up as Green Arrow."

He grumbled in response and I laughed before we heard Jason asked us to turn around. We did and I smiled as I noticed a almost exact replica of our old ProBending suits with Future Industries logo on the chest and sleeves. When I looked over at my mini me I blinked, not expecting to see what I did.

My little Waterbender was wearing an all black outfit, the sleeves a little long and covering her hands. But what had made me pause was the blue and white mask that was sitting on top of her head.

"Lilly, sweetheart," I started, my voice cautious. "Where did you find that?"

My daughter's big blue eyes looked up at me and she gave me a small toothed grin. "Bubba, said I could use this for my costume," she told me, bouncing on her toes in excitement.

I looked over at my little Firebender and he smiled at me. "I wanted my little sister to be the best super hero ever."

I felt Mako's arm wrap around my shoulder and managed a smile before nodding and handing them their trick-or-treat bags. Jason took Lilly's hand and we walked behind them, smiling. Only he would make my alter ego be a super hero to his sister.

Jason's POV

I sighed as I tucked Lilly in, pulling the sheets up to her chin. Mom and Dad were stuck in the city, working together on something. Despite my age, they never liked to share any details, trying to shield me from the world we lived in but I knew it all too well. After all, I had watched my biological parents die years ago.

So on days like today, I would be left in charge of my little sister. She missed them, especially Mom's bed time story. I tried to stick with her routine and for the most part Lilly did fine but sometimes she just wanted them to be here. Earlier we were at our grandparents house before coming over here to sleep in early. It was a school night after all.

"Bubba?" she asked when I finished reading the story.

"What?"

"What are you gonna do when you get big?"

"I don't know," I replied honestly. "Maybe be a Probender or a detective or something..."

"Can I be a Probender too?" Lilly asked with this huge smile.

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, you can be a Pro Bender too."

I tickled her side, causing her to squirm. I chuckled, patting Naga's head on my way out and turning on her night light before shutting the door quietly.

Korra's POV

I sighed and rubbed my face, trying to get through all this paperwork. The council had recently brought up the idea to disband and have an elected officer be in charge of the city, which was not a bad idea. But the process to actually make that change was long, tedious, and flat out time consuming. I wasn't even a quarter of the way through and they were already pressuring me. Mako had been doing a good job of relaxing me but it was still overwhelming.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts and I looked up to see my other favorite Firebender. He had grown up so much these past years, he was even a little taller than Mako, and very handsome at that. It seemed as if it were only yesterday when I used to hold him in my arms...

"I got accepted into Fire Nation University," Jason said as he leaned against the doorway.

I looked up, leaning against my chair, studying him before smiling. "That's great! I know how much you wanted to go there."

"I have a full ride," he continued, rubbing his hands together almost nervously. "Scholarship because of Probending."

I got up going over to him to hug him tightly. As much as I hated to admit it, he wasn't a little boy anymore. "I'm so proud of you."

"I'm not going." I pulled back, brow furrowing in confusion. He sighed leaning against the wall. "I can't leave you or Lilly or dad. You need me here."

"You shouldn't sacrifice something you want because of us."

"I want to stay," my son insisted. "I don't want to leave. I'll study here, become a councilman for Republic City, where my family is."

"Jason..."

"I want to stay, mom. This is where I belong." He smirked a little. "Besides, you know I can't be away from Lilly. She's lost without me." This last part was said with a grin.

I managed a smile at that and wrapped my arms around him again. He and his sisters were inseparable and I could already imagine her reaction if he had accepted to go to the Fire Nation. She would have been heartbroken. I kissed his cheek as I continued to hold him. My sweet, little boy.

Lilly's POV

I hummed as I continued to make out with Jake, a senior at my school. All day he had been eyeing me and I had to admit he wasn't bad looking. His blue eyes and dirty blonde hair matched his skin perfectly. My hands pulled lightly at his hair, silently asking him to deepen the kiss. He did as I wanted before our lips separated and I noticed my mother glaring at him, her hands on her hips. Jake gulped nervously before grabbing his backpack and leaving.

"Care to explain?" Mom asked calmly. That's how I knew she was ticked. I was so screwed.

"I was just having a bit of fun," I replied. Okay, so I was being a bit of a smartass but I mean, come on.

She pinched the bridge of her nose. "You are too young for this."

"I'm not a child."

"You are, and you are going to go straight home. I'll call your brother later to make sure."

My jaw clenched. "I was going to go out with my friends."

"Not anymore you're not," Mom replied. "Go home. Now."

I let out a huff, grabbing my backpack before heading over to the docks. I knew better than to skip home. She was probably going to follow me and tell Gran Gran and Gran Dad to check up on me. Why did she have to treat me like a baby? When I arrived home I went straight to my brother's room, tossing my backpack in a corner and letting out a frustrated sound. He raised a brow, looking up from his book.

"Everything all right?"

"Mom doesn't let me do anything!" I said exasperated as I sat on his bed.

Jason chuckled and put his book down, giving me his full attention. "Why do you say that?"

"I wanted to go out with my friends tonight and she said no. She always says no to me going out." Well there was also the make out incident... But Bubba would be disappointed and take Mom's side so I left that out.

"Mom is just looking out for you," Bubba tried reasoning. "Like me."

"Bubba, you make it your job to look after me."

"It is my job," he said. I sighed at that. "Besides, you and I can go out some other time. Your friends are trouble makers and I don't want Beifong bringing you home again."

"They started it!" I defended. "And if I remember correctly, you where there with me."

He hummed in response. I knew how much he hated to fight, and with him being older he could easily get in trouble with the law. Thankfully, Lin had a brain and knew he was only trying to protect me.

"How about we watch a movie?" Bubba suggested after a moment. "It'll get your mind off things and it'll give you a break before doing homework."

I sighed but nodded my head. I had enough of Mom telling me what to do today to have her on my back about homework. I just didn't get why she had such a problem with me kissing a boy. Gran Dad says I'm just like her all the time. What's so wrong about it? I tried not to think about it anymore as the film started. I needed a distraction.

Slade's POV

I turned off the television set when I heard the door open. Sebastian's campaign was going well but the Avatar's support for Raiko was something I had not counted on. The woman was smart, I'd give her that, and I knew she had to have some suspicions about Sebastian. He did just come to the city two years ago and he was already running for President. Of course that had been my doing, my mole in the council keeping me updated about the New Democratic system of Republic City.

"I'm falling behind Raiko in the elections," Blood said as he approached me.

I scoffed softly, opening the file in front of me to see all kinds of newspaper clippings of the Blue Spirit, later revealed to be the Avatar herself. My, she had been busy all these years. She even had two children and a husband. "You don't have to worry about that," I answered, looking at a family picture at the boy's, Jason, graduation. "You will be the next President of Republic City."

Sebastian didn't say anything for a moment before crossing his arms. "You know the Avatar, don't you?"

I managed a small smirk. "She's my friend."

"Are you going to kill her?"

"Death would be a release from this life, and her sentence is yet to be carried out," I replied looking up at him. "I am going to tear everything she cares about away from her. Destroy those who chose to follow her. Corrupt those she loves." The picture in my hand crumbled as I made a fist. "Once she's lost everyone...and everything she values...I will drive a knife through her heart."

Just like she had me. She had taken everything from me. Now I would do the same.

Mako's POV

I let out a sigh as I joined my wife in our bed. Lilly had reached her teenage years and with that came a lot testing boundaries. And to top things off she had inherited my wife's adventurous spirit. Not that she was happy about it. Today she'd caught our daughter in the middle of a make out session just like I had before with her and Oliver Queen. Neither one of us were very happy.

"I don't know what is wrong with her," Korra said as I lay down. "We didn't have this problem with Jason."

I raised a brow. "Jason is very different from Lilly, you know that."

She sighed irritably and I shook my head. I had let our daughter know my disapproval in what happened but just like a regular teenager it had gone in one ear and out the other. I knew how much Korra hated that she was just like her and I'll admit I had hoped she'd inherent my calm personality.

"She's always disobeying me." A shake of the head. "I don't know what to do."

I wrapped an arm around my wife and kissed the top of her head. "We're going to get through this," I assured her. "It's a stage and we're doing everything we can. She's a smart girl, she just likes getting into trouble."

"That's what worries me." She looked up at me. "Mako, don't you understand."

"I do. We're doing everything we can."

My wife sighed and snuggled closer to me, draping her arm across my chest. I knew it worried her Lilly would make the same mistakes she did but it wasn't going to happen. We'd both make sure of it.

Lilly's POV

I slammed the door behind me, locking it and trying to ignore my mom. I couldn't believe this. She had actually gone to the school and changed my class schedule so I wouldn't see Jake anymore. I had been fuming all day, so as soon as school had been out I had gone straight to the dock, hoping to avoid her but she must have figured I'd do that and was waiting for me there.

Of course as soon as I spotted her I jumped into the bay and used my Waterbending to reach the island, knowing she was following me. I had the head start so I didn't even waste time drying myself, simply ran into my room. I didn't want to talk to her. She had no right to do that.

"Lilly, I need to talk to you."

"Go away!" I replied trying to hold back the tears. "I want to be alone."

"Lill..."

"I said leave me alone!"

There was a moment of silence before I heard her leave. I laid down on the bed, gripping my pillow. After a moment I noticed something. I furrowed my brow as I sat up, taking the envelope on the nightstand. I opened it and took out the various newspaper clippings, my eyes widening in horror as I read them.

When I finished I could feel myself shaking with anger and opened the door, going to look for my mom. After I looked all over I went into my brother's room, finding him studying as usual. I placed the clippings in front of him, watching as he picked one up and read through it.

"Where did you get this?" he asked.

"It doesn't matter," I answered. "Is it true?" I scoffed and shook my head. "Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't she tell me?"

"You're mad at Mom." He said it like a fact, stating the obvious as always.

"Why can't everyone just tell the truth?" I asked holding back the tears. "Mom-she...she keeps all of these secrets, I mean what else is she hiding from me?" My brother didn't say anything just looked at me. I wiped away a stray tear. "You're the only one that doesn't lie to me, Bubba...the only one I know that doesn't keep secrets from me."

He lowered his gaze and I wiped away my tears with my sleeve. Why didn't wasn't he saying anything? My brother never lied to me...he never...I mean...

"There's something you have to know," Jason began quietly. "I'm surprised whoever gave you this didn't include this part of Mom." He sighed and shook his head. "I'm not Korra's biological son. She adopted me when I was five."

It all made sense. Mom didn't have any pictures of him when he was a baby. She always said it was with the box with all the pictures that got lost when they were building the house but...it had been a lie. What hadn't been?

"Why didn't you tell me you where adopted?" I finally managed to ask.

"Would it have made a difference?"

I suppose it wouldn't. Jason had always taken care of me. Treated me like a little sister. He had always been there. I finally managed to shake my head. No. It didn't make a difference.

He sighed and shook his head. "Korra adopted me when I was five," Bubba began lowly. "Equalist...they had murdered my real parents. They left me alone after they electrocuted me, thought I was dead. But I wasn't. I saw how they killed them, and I was too scared to do anything."

"Bubba..."

"I was sent to an orphanage and Mako was trying to bandage me up. But I didn't want him or anyone near me.," he continued with a small smile. "That's when I first saw Mom and something just clicked. Suddenly I had trust for someone, a complete stranger. But I knew I needed her as much as she needed me. The rest you know."

I manage a smile and nodded my head. "Why didn't you tell me about this?" I asked pointing to an article that talked about how the Blue Spirit had killed people.

"I was protecting you," he replied. "Because I've known Mom longer than you have. I saw her kill, and she did it to protect me, not because she was a murderer."

I scoffed. "And of course you'd see it that way." He was always defending her.

"Lill..."

I sighed, shaking my head, counting to ten. Jason wasn't at fault here. "I'm sorry. It's just... All those things people said about her- "

"Are still vicious lies," he cut me off.

I shook my head and sat down on the bed. Jason was always defending her, finding any way to excuse Mom. But she had lied to me. She had kept things from me. All these years I had defended her...

My brother stood up, kneeling down to get a box from under the bed and opening to reveal the mask that was in all those newspaper clippings. That's who Mom had been. She had been a murderer.

"At the time, this was what the city needed," Jason said as he handed it to me. "Mom isn't proud of what she did. She didn't do it for sport. She was protecting people. Mom isn't a murderer."

I scoffed lightly, wiping away the tears that escaped. Bubba always had a way of reading my mind. But if the Blue Spirit hand been bad, why did the clippings say otherwise? Who had left them in my room? What did they want me to do?

I starred at the mask mom had hidden from me after the Halloween I had used it years ago. Jason looked at me curiously as I starred at the mask, gears turning in my head before turning it over and looking up at him.

"What if mom stopping being the Blue Spirit was a mistake," I began. "What if the city really needs is a vigilante?"

"Lilly-"

"Think about it," I said cutting him off. "Crime was down, the attacks on Nonbenders and Benders almost stopped...what if the city still needs the Blue Spirit?"

"You don't understand what you're getting into."

"Think about the poss-"

"I saw what it did to mom," Bubba said his voice. "Killing...it hurts you and it hurts the people around you." He paused. "I would know. Dad knows. Gran Gran and Gran Dad knows. Aunt Asami does to. When you were born...Mom was a different person."

I shook my head. This had to be it. Whoever left this in my room...had to think this. The Blue Spirit needed to come back. Republic City needed it to come back. I got up and went to my room, taking off my white shirt to out on my black hoodie.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going out."

"Lilly, don't. You don't know what you're doing," Jason tried to reason."

"Listen, whoever left me this had to be thinking the same thing I did," I answered. "The city needs the Blue Spirit and I'm going to prove it. Now, are you coming?"

He shook his head, and I grabbed the mask, opening the window in my room before sneaking out. I started to make way to the edge of the island when a hand grabbed my arm. I smiled at him. "Let me get my jacket."
