(A/N: First off...who's been watching the new season?! I know I HAVE! They've not been showing any new episodes in weeks where I live, though. Is this everywhere or is it just our stations? Just wondering.

Anyway. This chapter is going to be different from what I had originally planned, so we're going to get double chapters for Lloyd again. I think this'll be good.

I may not update for a while. I have to go to Arkansas. Loooooong story. I'll try to post if I can.)

Lloyd's POV.

"Hey, I have an idea,"Natalia said to me as we walked back into the City that night. She had a really odd smile on her face, which you know by now was making my stomach do loop-de-loops.

Oh, stop laughing.

Anyway, she said, "I think we should prank-call the ninja."

"Uh..." I seriously needed to stop saying that all the time. But pranking? Not that I had an objection to the idea, it was just not something I'd ever thought about doing with her. I never really guessed girls were into that stuff. "What are you gonna say?"

"I dunno. That's just it. We can call them up one at a time and say anything. I used to do that all the time to the teachers at school with Brad and Gene. It stopped working after about the fourth time, though."

I grinned. "Let's try it."

We squeezed into a phone booth and I pulled a handful of change out of my pockets. I dialed the number for Destiny's Bounty and handed the phone to Natalia. We agreed that we would both say the first thing that came into our heads when they answered, and then just not say anything more.

Kai's voice came through the other end. "Hello?"

"Hello? Hello?", Natalia said in a fake confused voice.

"Uh...yeah, hello? Yeah? I'm on the line! Cole, will you take this?"

"Don't mind if I do."

She quickly handed the phone to me and when Cole said "Hello?" I started making Serpentine noises. That was probably not the best move, but it was the first thing I thought of.

"Aaah! Sensei, you need to hear this."

I passed the phone back and Natalia whispered, "Are you my mummy?" into the speaker.

"Um...no.", Uncle Sensei said, sounding really confused.

"No?", I heard Cole saying. "It's the Serpentine! What 'no'?"

"What Serpentine?", said Kai. "It's just a wrong number!"

"I think it's a ghost," said Uncle Sensei, sounding strangely matter-of-fact for someone who had just suggested their phone was haunted.

"What?"

"What?"

"What?"

"I think I know what it is," said my mom's voice.

Natalia handed the phone back to me and before I could say anything, Mom said, "Lloyd, get back home and go to bed."

"Busted!"

"Lloyd?", I heard Kai's voice saying.

"Yes, Kai, there was no wrong number. Cole, no Serpentine. Uncle Sensei, no ghost. Where do you even get that idea?"

Bzzzzzzkkk.

"Helloooo?" I put the phone down and looked at Natalia. "My family's not normal."
