HI GUYZ! I know it'a been forever, SORRY! I just had this moment of no ideas at all, and I've been EXTREMELY busy like no joke -_-

SO ANYWAY!

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

ENJOY!

Nico:

"Bye, Nico! Bye, Percy!" Ever yelled as she and Sally got into the Jackson's car. "Try not to die from boredom!"

Percy snorted. "C'mon! Nico and I can have fun without you!"

"I highly doubt that, Mr. I-Freak-Out-When-I'm-Alone."

"But I'm not alone!" Percy threw a brotherly arm around Nico's shoulders. If it had been a year ago, Nico's blush would have been brighter than a tomato. Long story short, when things didn't go well with Will, Nico sort of gave up. He hadn't thought of romance since Ever came along.

W-what? Pssssh…of course I've thought of that stuff…before…

"Bye boys!" Ever and Sally both crowed before driving off.

Percy grinned and waved them goodbye. Sally and Ever were going to Rhode Island and doing what Mrs. Jackson called a 'girly weekend out'. According to Ever it was the 'let Percy and Nico bore themselves to death while the girls do awesome stuff and eat an overload of donuts'. Ever's assumption was most likely correct. Nico watched as the car turned a corner before he started to walk back inside.

"Whoa whoa whoa!" Percy called. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Inside…?"

Percy ran over to Nico and grabbed his wrist before proceeding to drag him away from the building.

"We're not going to hang around here like a bunch of lazy wieners!"

I'm not sure you can call the savior of Olympus a lazy wiener…

Nico sighed. Even if he protested, Percy would find a way to drag him along one way or another. Might as well go along with it. "So where are we going?"

Percy's smirk was immediately alarming. Realization dawned on Nico's face. There was only one place Sally refused to take Percy. The only place he was forbidden to visit.

"I'm not sure that's a good idea—"

"Don't be a goody goody!" Percy's grin was devilish.

He really, really wanted to go.

There was no way to stop him.

Percy was taking Nico to the one place forbidden to Percy Jackson.

The one place Nico hoped to never go with Percy.

The place covered head to toe in horrors unimaginable.

Chuck E Cheese.

~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~
"Percy?"
"Hm?"
"I hate you more than anyone could ever hate someone."
Percy continued eating his Chuck E Cheese pizza, not even phased by Nico's devilish and gloomy attitude. He sat, slumped in a booth, pouting. Everything was too colorful and cheery. What did people even like about Chuck E Cheese? Those puppet things were just plain creepy, the only way you got good at the games was if you came back once a week, a monster ate your tickets, and the prizes were more expensive than they were worth.
That wasn't the worst part.
There were so many little kids.
So many germs.
So, so many germs! Nico had, on more than one occasion, watched a little kid pick his nose, eat it, then stick his grubby hands on a game. Then, another kid would walk to the game and unknowingly get some disease from the first kid.
And they call Five Night's at Freddy's scary? This is worse than any mechanical murderer. At least with Freddy I can use my freakin' sword to chop his head off.
"C'bom, Micko! Enyoy yorsef!" Percy complained as he chomped on more greasy pizza. At least he seemed to be having fun.
"How can I?" Nico pouted. "This place should be quarantined for the amount of germs spread."
"That's all part of the fun!"
"To you maybe. I prefer to wake up and not feel like a bus ran over me."
"We may have bigger problems."
Nico glanced up. Percy looked slightly wary. "Why?"
"You see Mr. Munch over there?"
"…Who?"
Percy rolled his eyes. "Mr. Munch? The purple monster? The one next to Pasqually and Helen Henny?"
Only Percy would know the names of Chuck E Cheese characters.
"Ticket eater?"
"Yeah! He keeps looking at me like he wants to eat me."
Nico glanced at the purple monster. He seemed just as scary as usual. Nico shivered. Those animatronics were just plain creepy. You're stuck in an immortal Casino for seventy years, and what happens? Society manages to make dolls scary.
"They look just as terrifying as usual, Percy."
"That's just it! They aren't supposed to be terrifying!"
Nico just shook his head, disinterested. Percy must have been imagining things.
He just had to be proved wrong.
Not long after Percy began to relax, Mr. Munch looked Nico straight in the eyes. Like, actually made eye contact. A shiver crawled down Nico's spine. Helen Henny turned as well. Then Pasqually, then Chuck E and Jasper (according to Percy his real name is Jasper T Jowls). All three animatronics were staring right at Nico.
"Uh, Percy?"
"I see it."
"Should we run?"
Percy stared at Nico in shock. Probably surprised that he wanted to run. Nico definitely wanted to run. Not his usual tactic, but fighting some of the most loved characters in pizza history didn't seem like a good idea. Especially with more than fifty witnesses.
"I'm not sure that mother would appreciate her kid being run over by Chuck E." Nico explained. Percy thought it over and nodded.
"We should act casual."
As 'casual' as Nico could, he inched out of the booth and walked towards the ticket eating machine. Percy followed. Nico slowly inserted his tickets.
"But I don't have enough to get a big prize!" Percy whispered fiercely. "We should save them for another time—"
"There is no other time."
Percy pouted and let the machine chomp away. Nico looked back to see if the animatronics were still creepy. Mr. Munch and Helen Henny were staring at him like a meal. Shivers ran down his spine.
Why does almost everything have to be evil. Why couldn't they have been nice robots?
Percy was still inserting tickets into the machine when Pasqually's eyes turned red. Mr. Munch's followed.
"Percy?"
"Yeeeah?"
"I think we should go."
"I've only got one roll left!"
Nico rolled his eyes. "Would you rather get all your tickets or be attacked by the cook dude and purple Cookie Monster?"
"One sec…"
"UHG. Be serious here!"
"I am! We might be able to get Flounder next time if I save up!"
"THERE IS NO NEXT TIME."
Chompy machine burped out Percy's ticket paper when the animatronics attacked. Their eyes turned a blazing red, and their robotic movements suddenly got limber. Roars came out of their mouths, and all the little kids started shrieking. Nico winced and covered his ears. Percy got out Riptide, and prepared to attack. Nico did the same.
The robots ran at them with lightning fast speed, theirs hands reaching out as if to strangle them. Nico and Percy charged, swords up.
Nico was not expecting Chuck E to be so good at dodging.
When he swung, the giant rat jumped out of the way and jabbed at him. It connected with Nico's shoulder and sent him flying into Whack-A-Mole. He hastily got up and intercepted a jab with his sword. Chuck E's red eyes were fixed on him intently. The rat swung its leg out as if to trip Nico, but he jumped up and brought his sword down on its head. Sparks flew, and the monster rat's eyes dimmed out.
Helen Henny was on Nico before he could breath a sigh of relief. She screamed at Nico and lunged at him full throttle. With a gasp, she fell on him and pinned him down. Her feathery arms raised up and wrapped around his neck, cutting off his air supply. Nico sputtered and used his sword so slash her stomach. The robot didn't react. Nico was running out of breath, so he used all his ab muscle to catapult her off him with his legs. She didn't go very far; just right next to him. She screeched and lunged again.
What the heck?! Why are they even attacking us?
Nico slashed at her beak, and her eyes dimmed out.
The head! We have to hit their head!
"Percy, aim for the head!" Nico yelled. He noticed Percy having trouble with Mr. Munch and Jasper T Jowls. Pasqually was using to ticket machine as a missile. It was aimed right at Nico. The hunk of metal hit him full force and crushed him between a wall. Blood gushed from his nose, and he was sore all over. Who new robots were such good fighters.
Nico labored to push off the machine. It was too heavy. Luckily, Jasper T Jowls body slammed him from the side and sent the ticket eater flying! Of course, he hit Nico as well.
"SORRY!" Percy yelled. Nico looked over to the cowboy dog and noticed its face was smashed in. Wires poked out, and grease oozed everywhere.
Shakily, Nico stood and assessed the situation. Percy was sword battling Mr. Munch; the monster was using a metal stick. Pasqually was over by the ticket machines, getting ready to throw another…
WHAT IN HADES—
Nico ran as fast as he could to get away from the giant, flying machine. It crashed into the wall and broke a hole into the side. Anger welled up inside of Nico.
Why are these stupid animatronics attacking us?!
Instead of running from the next flying projectile, Nico ran straight for it, then ducked at the last second. He kept running, and jumped onto the Italian cook. His sword went through it's face easily. Nico turned to find Mr. Munch being assaulted by water. It started to creak and sputter, until it short circuited and fell to the floor.
Nico and Percy stood there. Huffing. And puffing.
"We, are never coming to Chuck E Cheese ever again." Nico muttered under his breath with a glare in Percy's direction.
"I'll ask Ever, then."
Nico rolled his eyes. "Now can we be couch potatoes?"
"I'm staring to realize why that isn't necessarily a bad pastime."
What a relief. Ever will never believe us when we tell her this!
~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~

She didn't. Not in the slightest. Neither did Mrs. Jackson, who insisted they must have hallucinated. Nico and Percy just stood there in shock as the two came up with numerous excuses for why Chuck E Cheese suddenly went under repairs. Mr. Blofis complained about them going without him.

Why me.

Mrs. Jackson and Ever piled into the apartment loudly, telling them everything they did and completely forgetting about Percy and Nico's mishap. It was a very strange occurrence. A really, really strange occurrence. It almost seemed staged. The two girls didn't believe them, but Mr. Blofis did. If anything, Nico thought it would have been the opposite. Very strange indeed.

No matter what he thought, the worst was yet to come.

~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~~~{[()]}~~~
Ever:
A week passed. Everything went back to 'normal'. School, chores, homework, TV, the usual. It was overall a quiet week. Until, one fateful Friday afternoon, Annabeth Chase showed up on the doorstep.
"MOM MOM MOM" Percy all of a sudden hollered. "GUESS WHO'S HERE."
Mrs. Jackson and Ever were in the living room, Ever doing homework and Mrs. Jackson folding clothes. Ever was more than slightly annoyed by Percy's yelling. Mrs. Jackson didn't seem bothered. She was probably used to it.
"I dunno, Percy. Annabeth, maybe?" She called. Ever dropped her pencil and looked at her in shock.
"OMG MOM HOW DID YOU KNOW?!"
"Uh, maybe 'cause she invited me?" A girl's voice said in annoyance.
"HIIIIII ANNABEEEEETH!" Ever yelled from her comfortable spot on the couch. Percy and Annabeth walked in. A giant grin split Percy's face in half, and his arm was slung around her waist possessively. Annabeth looked annoyed, but her face was flushed slightly, and a tiny smile graced her face.
Nico walked into the living room, a towel across his shoulders and damp hair. His eyes were sleepy, and he yawned loudly.
"Ever the morning person, I see." Annabeth commented with a smirk. Nico glared grumpily and threw himself next to Ever. He smelled like peppermint.
"It's not even morning…" Nico mumbled. "Anyway, what's the occasion?"
"None really." Annabeth said casually. "I just, you know, miss my boyfriend…"
Percy grinned even wider than before (how is that possible? Ever has no clue). He leaned over and kissed her on the lips, holding it for a second before pecking her forehead. Annabeth blushed. Ever and Nico looked away uncomfortably.
"Oh, hey!" Annabeth exclaimed when she noticed what Ever was doing. "You guys are going to school?"
"Well, yeah…"
"What grade?"
"I'm a sophomore."
Annabeth nodded. "Geometry, huh?"
"UHG, yes."
Ever surveyed her homework; shapes, numbers, even more shapes, and even more numbers. It all bounced around in her head. Math was her worse subject. That's why she forced Nico to do his work with her (not that he knew it either…). Ever and Annabeth talked about nothing in particular for a while before Percy and Annabeth walked over to the coffee table where Ever's work was and plopped down in front of it, facing opposite towards the TV. Annabeth leaned onto Percy, their arms around each other, the words love was written across their faces in bold AND italics. Ever and Nico felt blinded by the amount of love the two of them emitted.
"Let's go in my room…" Ever whispered to him uncomfortably. Nico nodded, and the two of them headed to her room where they wouldn't have to witness their lovey dovey-ness.
Once work was done, and the sky was getting dark, everyone gathered around the TV to watch a late night comedy. It just so happened to be a rom com. Ever, Percy, Annabeth, and Nico sat on the one couch in that order. Ever and Nico uncomfortably watched Percy and Annabeth snuggling. They didn't even pay attention to the movie, instead gave each other meaningful glances.
Ever: This is uncomfortable…
Nico: No kidding -_-
Ever: Should we leave?
Nico: Nah, that'd be rude…
Ever: …
Nico: …
Both: This is so uncomfortable.
A day passed. Before long it was Sunday, and Annabeth was going to leave that night. Ever and Nico were slightly relieved.
"Let's go watch a movie!" Annabeth suggested. "There's this new movie in the theaters that I've been dying to watch!"
"Since when have you liked going to the theaters?" Ever muttered to Nico so they wouldn't hear. He sighed.
"Which one?" Percy asked.
"That zombie one."
"ZOMBIES?!" Ever squeaked in horror. Percy and Annabeth didn't seem to notice.
"Yeah! Let's do it!"
"Uh, how 'bout no?" Ever said in fear. Zombies scared the heck out of Ever. Ever since she watched one of those types of movies, her mind has been scarred. FOR ETERNITY. "If we're going to watch something, let's watch that cartoon movie!"
"C'mon Ever, that one looks so stupid."
"I don't like zombies! They're so scary…!"
Percy rolled his eyes. "Ever, scared of zombies? Puh-lease, you aren't going to fool us. You aren't scared of anything! Remember that time you killed that Black Widow like it was nothing?"
Because it was nothing…
It was decided before Ever could do anything. No matter how much she complained, they all went to the movie theater. She just knew something bad would come out of this. As soon as the movie started, Ever made the excuse of needing to go to the bathroom. She held out for twenty minutes before Annabeth came to get her. She gloomily sat as people started spazzing out and being zombie-fied. Her eyes and mind felt like they were melting. It was so gory and scary that she felt like crying. Her heart beat rapidly. Screams echoed in her ears. The darkness of the theater seemed to confide her, suffocating her. She finally broke when a zombie started ripping apart a mother and her baby.
"NICO!" Ever screamed and turned to him on her left. She ignored the arm rest and threw herself on him, tears pouring out of her eyes. Nico was stiff for a minutes before he relaxed and patted her head.
Although it was humiliating, Ever cried (bawled) into his shirt. Nico put an arm around her and started whispering comforting words. He looked over Ever's shoulder to see Annabeth and Percy's worried looks. Nico gave them hard stares.
"Do you want to leave?" Nico whispered to her. Ever nodded mutely. They both stood up and left the theater, silent and solemn.
?:
The man watched the two walk off. He pulled out his camera and took a picture.
"What in the world, Seaweed Brain?" His girlfriend muttered. "Why are you taking a picture of that?"
"Becaaause!" He answered. "Nico looks so manly, with his arm around her escorting her out! I SHIP THEM!"
A person behind him leaned over and quickly shushed them. The man and his girlfriend turned back to the zombies.
Voutyro:
The young god of butter walked down the damp hall, cages on both sides. Demigods were locked in each of them, counting 289 in total. All of them with scars where a transmitter was surgically added. Voutyro kept walking until he came upon Gala.
"Hello, sister. How is our flock?" He asked her. She shrugged.
"They're alright. Many of them are suffering from psychological illness, but other than that they're in tiptop shape."
"What about the Omegas?"
"Oh, those cripples have taken to the mutations quite well. Their added strength has boosted them up to the Beta group."
Voutyro smiled. Enyalius would be pleased.
Pleased indeed.
