Okay okay okay, obviously I know it's the Doctor Who 50th anniversary even if I don't actually watch the show. I also got a prompt to write Doctor!Kurt and companion!Blaine. However, I know close to nothing about the actual plot of Doctor Who, so there's no way I can write something that takes place in that actual universe.

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy Klaine (with additional Rachel) being adorkable Whovians :)

(Do I even need to mention after what I titled this?)

The Day of The Doctor

Kurt is jumping up and down on the couch. "Eccleston minutes!" he squeals, looking intently at the commercials currently playing on the TV. In the kitchen, Blaine is pouring popcorn into a bucket, and smiling so brightly he can probably light a candle with just his face.

Santana rolls her eyes while putting on her shoes. "Thank god I have a date with Dani tonight."

"Shut up Santana!" he says, smiling. "B, bring the popcorn and come here already!"

Blaine skips into the room, wearing an exact replica of the eleventh doctor's outfit- he chose Eleven because he wanted to wear a bowtie- and Santana snorts.

He smiles at her and goes to sit next to Kurt, who's now scrolling through his tumblr on his phone- looking at the phone over his shoulder, Blaine stuffs some of the popcorn into his mouth (the bucket is big enough to fit his head inside, so he doesn't worry about eating all of it and running out of it while they're watching).

"Look at you, two birds of a feather flock together. It would be cute if it didn't make me want to vomit." She fishes a mirror out of her purse, making sure her makeup looks perfect.

"We love you too, Santana," said Kurt, smiling at yet another post about David Tennant's sad looking hair.

"Have a great night with Dani," adds Blaine around a mouthful of popcorn.

"Hey, give me some of that," Kurt complains, and Blaine lovingly feeds him little popcorn pieces.

Santana rolls her eyes once more, just for good measure, and leaves with a "goodbye, nerdheads".

"Is she gone?" calls Rachel from her bedroom after the door slams shut.

"All clear!"

Rachel comes out of her bedroom, wearing a TARDIS dress and a radiant smile. The boys whistle and coo at her and she gives a little bow.

"Maybe you should be the one working for Vogue," comments Kurt as she sits down. "It looks amazing!"

Blaine nods, awestruck. "So cool." Then he looks at Kurt. "How much time?"

Kurt doesn't have time to reply before a familiar tune rises from the TV speakers, and they all squeal, singing along to the wordless music as the Doctor Who opening credits begin rolling, the TARDIS in all its glory floating across the screen.
