Chapter 5: Battle between heroes and battle in the temple
The area of Peach Creek was in a peaceful state in its afternoon when it would usually have chaos when the Ed's planned a scam but all that was different for a group of heroes from different dimensions were battling each other for who would have the legendary chaos stones.
"Macaroni and cheese!" Ed shouted as he and Astrid rammed into each other as their plans for an attack but GIR flew out of nowhere, grabbed the two and threw them against the wall "gravy!" he shouted as the two crashed into the side of a house and fell down with a mighty thud.
"I LOVE PIGGIES!" GIR shouted as he flew towards a battling Blaze and Cleo as the cat summoned fireballs and threw them at the mummy but Cleo kept jumping to avoid the attacks and saw GIR flying towards them, Cleo shrieked and jumped out of the way while Blaze threw a fireball at the SIR unit and it flew onto Zim as he used his PAK tentacles to grab Dib and the lone ranger, the two were trying to break free.
"No one beats Zim! NO ONE!" the alien shouted as he began to hit the two together, the lone ranger grabbed his pistol in the nick of time and shot the robotic tentacle, Zim screeched in pain and quickly let the two go while he rubbed his robot tentacle "how dare you attack my mighty PAK tentacle!?" he shouted before drawing his irken handgun and began to shoot.
"Get down!" the lone ranger said as he covered Dib and shot back at the irken but Zim kept moving around, Dib looked around to see if he could find Gaz but he instead found Frankie trying to avoid Sonic's spin dash attack.
"Hang on Frankie!" Dib shouted as he ran over to aid his friend and kicked Sonic in the back, the blue blur fell on his face hard and got back up to attack the boy "oh sh-" he was cut off when Sonic spin dashed him and he flew into a tree hole where his head got stuck (ironic isn't it?) and Frankie gasped.
"Dib!" she said and turned to Sonic, she grabbed him by the arm and gave him a hard shock to body where he began to jump up and down with electricity and was thrown onto the branch of a tree.
"Please don't hurt me" Cream pleaded as she and Cream were next to the door of a car as Ruffnut and Tuffnut trapped her.
"Sorry kid, but we want those chaos stones!" Tuffnut said.
"I can't wait to have rabbit stew!" Ruffnut said as she rubbed her hands together and Cream screamed.
"Oh no you don't!" Amy yelled as she ran towards the two with her Piko Piko hammer and hit them both hard and sent them flying onto Astrid as she got up "there you go Cream" Amy said to Cream as she ran to fight the twins and Astrid.
Julius was with Cathy and Chris as they ran towards Manny and Heath, the two were busy fighting Espio and Silver until Cathy hit Heath in the back and began to tackle him, Manny turned to see Julius ans Chris running towards them and he began to charged until Silver used his powers to hurl Manny into the air and throw him onto Clawd and Clawdeen as they battle Knuckles and Rouge.
"Prepare to die!" Julius shouted as he grabbed Espio by the neck and tried to choke him but the chameleon used his ninja stars to sink them into the aliens arm, Julius cried out in pain and released Espio and he charged towards Chris.
"All great warriors must come to an end child" Espio told Chris "but my end is far!"
"Think again reptile!" Chris said as he blasted at him but Espio jumped up and avoided the attacks.
Operetta, Gil and Lagoona were cornered by twenty dittos by the front of a tree and they were trying to find a way out.
"Okay guys, there are twenty of them and only three of us" Operetta said to them "we need to find a way out!"
"There is no way out!" Lagoona said.
"Time for a mega smash!" all the dittos said together and rammed themselves into the three where they went into the side of the tree with their heads sticking up of the other end.
"Now that's what I call sticking out!" one of the dittos said and they all began to laugh until Julius suddenly appeared and wrapped his arms around all of them "hey! Let go of us!" one yelled.
"Master…Shock!" Julius yelled as electric volts ran throughout his arms and shocked all of the dittos until Ben turned back to normal and Julius set the shocked hero down, Ben was seriously injured but not dead "pathetic alien shape shifter" he said to himself.
"Julius! Look out!" Danny shouted but it was too late, Vector had already hit the poor defenseless alien in the back and he fell down with a loud thud.
"Game, set and match" Vector said to himself.
"Great work boss!" Charmy said to him as he flew over.
"It's all in the line of work!" Vector said to Charmy.
"Line of work this! You freak!" Skoodge said as he and Patrick hit the crocodile and bee on the heads and they fell down and the irken and starfish were captured by Danny Phantom and Sam Mason and were thrown onto the roof of a house, Knuckles and Rouge were busy fighting Hiccup and Snoutlout, Heather was battling Cathy and Chris and Tails was fighting Minimoose! It was utter and complete chaos for the fight of heroes.
"Eddy! The werewolves!" Double D called out to his friend, Eddy turned around to see Clawd, Clawdeen and Holween charging towards the boy with great speed, he gave out a loud scream and went for the first thing he could use as a weapon and it was a small bird.
"Eat this fur freaks!" Eddy said as the three werewolves came to a halt and observed Eddy with are-you-kidding-us looks "that's right be afraid! Ah ha ha ha!" Clawdeen just simply grabbed the bird, stuffed it her mouth and swallowed it whole.
"Mmm…Delicious" Clawdeen said, Eddy gave another scream and got down on his knees.
"Please! I'm too young and handsome to die!" Eddy said as he begged for mercy.
"Relax, werewolves don't eat people" Clawd said.
"You guys don't?" Eddy asked.
"No" Howleen said "but we can do this!" she used her fists to punch him in the face, he suddenly fell down and went out cold "oops" she simply said as her sibling looked at her like she had just killed someone.
"I'm…Okay" Eddy weakly said as he raised his hand.
"We should just let him rest" Clawd said to his siblings as they backed away nice and slowly, Ben was finally able to regain consciousness and woke up to see Dexter defending him from an attacking GIR and Zim.
"Take this! And that! And more of that!" the boy said as he fought the irken and robot, Ben quickly realized that his ally would need help and he used his omnitrix to become Blocks.
"Eat block you freaks!" he said as he hit the alien and robot intot he side of building, Ben's victory was short lived when Mega Man attacked him from the shoulders, the alien/human tried his hardest to knock the robot off but it was no use until…
"Eat fists you freak robot!" a familiar voice to Ben and Dexter said, the two turned around to see people very familiar to them.
"Butter! Blossom!" Ben said as he walked over to his friends from Townsville "when did you two get here?"
"Dexter sent us a distress signal from his communication machine" Blossom said but Dexter was confused by what she said, he didn't send a communication signal to them but he remembered that he heard Dee Dee before he disappeared, had she pressed all the buttons on the machine? He thought about this for a moment while Ben talked to Buttercup and Blossom.
"Are you two the only ones here?" he asked them.
"Not really" Buttercup replied, she clapped her hands together and the entire gang of the CN heroes appeared, Chowder and Flapjack came out the bushes with Billy and Mandy, Grim and Samurai Jack jumped out of the trees, Mac, Bloo and Bubbles dug themselves out of the ground and Numbuh One and Cap'n K'nuckles walked themselves out of a car.
"Guys! You're all here!" Ben said with glee.
"Glad we did" Jack said as he walked to Ben "there's some sort of villainous threat that could release an ancient entity".
"Ancient entity?" Chowder asked him.
"Yes, this entity has the ability to destroy worlds" Jack said "we must work together once more to defeat it".
"But we can't do it alone" Ben said before turning to the group of many heroes fighting each other, Ben cupper his hands towards his mouth and shouted- "EVERYONE STOP!"
What everyone was doing was suddenly stopped when he shouted, Knuckles stopped hitting Dib, Draculaura stopped biting Sam's leg and everyone paid their attention to him.
"That's got their attention" K'nuckles whispered into Flapjack's ear "if only we could use that on asking people tell to us where candy island is" Flapjack gave a slight nod and everyone turned to listen to Ben.
"Listen up! There's an evil out somewhere in the world and we need to find it to stop it!" Ben said "so we need to team up and-"
"Team up?" Amy asked Ben "team up? Me and my friends need to team up with people that nearly killed each other for the chaos stones?" the young hedgehog was becoming angry at the teenage human for suggesting that she would team up with people that she and her friends had fought.
"And do you expect me! The mighty ZIM! To team up with a bunch of pitiful humans?!" Zim yelled at him and pointed to the MBC.
"Pitiful humans?" Sam asked Zim as she walked over to him and pushed him on the shoulders "hey listen Zim! Me and my friends may look pitiful to you, but we helped you once and now you have to help us!"
"SHUT YOUR NOISE TUBE!" Zim yelled into her face but she backed him up and they began to fight until Numbuh One broke it up.
"Listen you two!" he said as he kept them apart "we all need to work together because of a great evil threatening the world!"
"What evil?!" Zim yelled "I don't see anything evil-ish-ing around here!" he had spoke too soon because now, a white light appeared and blinded the heroes and it disappeared a minute later to reveal…
"Eggman!" Sonic shouted as his arch-nemesis sat in the egg-bot, everyone looked to see the doctor smiling evilly and staring down at the heroes.
"Hello all you filthy heroes and brats!" Eggman said as he stood up in his robot "I believe you all have something that rightfully belongs to me!"
"No way Eggman!" Sonic said as he and Silver made defenses poses "there is no way you are getting the chaos-"
"I don't want those stinking emeralds anymore you filthy hedgerat!" Eggman said.
"What?" Sonic asked in a shocked voice.
"You see, I am after something even more powerful" Eggman said "the chaos stones!" he pointed directly at Julius with the chaos stones in his fists, the alien clutched the eleven stones close to his chest and gave a snarl but Eggman knew better "I'm afraid you don't have a choice child, give me the stones!"
"You want them?" Julius asked as he held the stones up "come and get them, fat man!"
"You are dead meat boy!" Eggman said as he started his robot.
"Everyone listen up" Julius said as he turned to the heroes and pointed at the doctor "this man wants the stones all for himself, but these stones rightfully belong to my people! So who will help me protect them?" everyone looked at each other and knew the right thing to do.
"Let's go!" Ben said as he raised his arm with the omnitrix in the air and every hero began to start the fight for the chaos stones.
Meanwhile…
The mystic ruins stood quiet in the afternoon air, frogs were croaking and insects buzzed around the vines and undergrowth of the area until it all stopped when a blinding white light engulfed the area and disappeared a minute later with Shadow, Maria, the Winx Club, Specialists, Total Drama contestants, B.O.B., Link, Ginormica/Susan, Dr. Cockroach, Rex, Bobo, Six, Holiday, Gru, Lucy and Pogoriki arriving in the area. Shadow gave a look around while Owen just sat on his back next to the hedgehog, he was panting heavily.
"How can you be tired after I did all the work with chaos control?" Shadow asked the exhausted teen.
"He's always exhausted" Harold said for Owen "you see, Owen's body cannot substain many ways of travel due to his health issues and-"
"Save me the explanation" Shadow told him as he walked towards the edge of a cliff and looked around "here's the plan".
"Lay it on us" Duncan said.
"Me, Maria, Bloom and Sky will go look for the source in the swamp regions" Shadow said as he turned towards the group "Stella, Aisha, Noah and Owen will go and look in the cavern regions".
"Point the way" Owen said but Shadow didn't budge his finger "Gru, Lucy, Six and Holiday will go and look in the tree tops while Rex, PogoRiki, Brandon and Timmy will go and look in the lake".
"The lake?" Timmy asked "won't we get wet?"
"Yeah" Shadow said as he walked towards the teen and held up his fist to his face "you got a problem with it?" he asked in threatening tone, Timmy shook his head and Shadow put the fist down before walking towards the others.
"Where do we go?" Techna asked him.
"Techna" Shadow began "you, Eva, Courtney, Mike, Zoey and Bobo go and look at the echidna temple on the west side of the island where it leads to Angel Island".
"Angel Island?" Mike asked Shadow.
"It's Knuckles home island" Shadow replied.
"Who's Knuckles?" Zoey asked.
"The last of his kind" Shadow said as he crossed his arms "he's an echidna".
"That's so sad" Zoey said as she felt sorry for Knuckles.
"He doesn't mind" Shadow said "he said that most of his kind weren't very good at their job anyway".
"Job? What job?" Eva asked "and give us an answer" Shadow gave her a death glare straight into her eyes and she shivered a little until the dark hedgehog turned his attention to Helia and Omega "Helia and Omega, go to the ancient ruins area to find anything, the rest of you stay here and try to see if any enemies will attack".
"You got Shadow" Alejandro said "any enemy will have to go through us if they want that power source!"
"Whatever" Shadow said "come on!"
"Coming Shadow!" Maria replied as she, Bloom and Sky followed him and everyone else went to their locations to search for the energy source.
Swamp regions
Shadow and Sky were dirty in muck and slime from searching for the energy source while Bloom and Maria checked every hole and ditch, every Mobian crocodile mouth…
"Hey! Y'all stop checking out my mouth!" one of the crocodiles said.
"Sorry sir" Maria said as she closed the person's mouth, Bloom turned to the two boys checking the boggy waters and shouted.
"Not here!" Bloom shouted.
"Thanks for the message" Shadow sarcastically said.
Caverns
"Do you see anything?" Owen asked Stella and Aisha as they looked around the empty caverns.
"Nothing" Stella replied "no energy source here".
"And even if there was, we would see the glow!" Aisha said to the two boys "go and check around the caverns!"
"You got it!" Noah replied as the two went to check around the outside walls of the caverns but to see nothing but frogs and bugs "nothing here either!"
Treetops
"No energy source is up here" Six told Gru as they searched every bit of the treetops, the ex-villain was holding onto a branch for dear life because he had nearly slipped off the tree.
"I can take a guess" Gru said "but first, help me up!"
"Do you boys see anything?" Lucy called out to them.
"Nothing yet!" Six replied "but all I see is a monkey hanging onto a branch for fun!"
"Shut up!" Gru yelled.
The lake
"It's cold!" Timmy complained to Rex, the two were bickering about who would go in the lake to find the energy source if it was there at all.
"And I'll fry my arm circuits if I go in the lake!" Rex said "and that is not going to happen to me again!"
"This is taking too long!" Brandon said as he walked past the two "I'm going in the lake and finding that source!" he quickly took his shirt off and jumped into the lake, he swam all around to find the source but to no avail and came back up.
"Did you see anything?" Pogoriki asked him.
"Nothing" Brandon replied.
Ancient ruins
"Scans show no sign of energy source" Omega told Helia "possible idea of Eggman was the first one to take it".
"That's impossible" Helia said "Eggman couldn't find it before we did, it has to be around here somewhere".
"Negative" Omega said "the energy source is not found here" his eyes beeped for a minute until they turned bright red "signs show familiar life-form near us" he pointed his arm cannon towards the bushes and aimed for the middle "make yourself present, now!"
"Okay! Okay!" the voice said as the person responsible came out of the bushes, it was Robecca "you don't have to shoot!"
"Affirmative" Omega said as he lowered his arm "analysis: Robecca Steam".
"Did you guys find anything?" she asked.
"Negative" Omega said.
"Nothing" Helia said "I hope the others have better luck than we do".
Echidna temple
"This place is huge!" Mike said as he looked around the inside of the temple where various carvings on the walls described the history of the echidna tribe and the lands of Mobius "and these carvings are so amazing! I know what my next report for geography is going to be about!"
"I don' know Mike" Zoey said "your teachers may not believe your story on a continent where animals act and talk like people, let alone ancient echidnas!" she gave a slight giggle in her voice, Mike rolled his eyes.
"Don't keep playing around you two" Bobo said as he searched around the temple "we still need to find that energy source".
"Where would an energy source hide in a immense temple like this anyway?" Courtney asked him "it's going to take forever to find the energy source! Not to mention whoever is after it!"
"Found it!" Eva said as she found the source at one end of the temple, everyone followed the sound of her voice and found her near the corner of the temple where a round blue glow was floating in mid-air "is this it?"
"I think so!" Zoey said "good work Eva!"
"Uhh…Thanks?" Eva said, Zoey grabbed her cellphone and quickly dialed Duncan's phone number "hello Duncan! Guess what, we found the energy source! Tell the others to-"
"Tell your friends to wait!" a angry voice said behind the heroes, everyone turned around to see a Metal Sonic "that energy source is rightfully the property of the Eggman Empire!"
"Fat chance hedge-freak!" Bobo said as he grabbed his guns and began to shoot but Metal Sonic teleported himself away from the blasts and reappeared in front of Courtney and kicked in the gut, her body collided with the wall and she fell down into a small sleep.
"Last chance" Metal Sonic said as his arm turned into an arm blaster "give me the energy source or die!"
"Okay" Mike said "you can have the energy source" he carefully backed away from the robotic hedgehog and moved towards the energy, Eva and Zoey gave him surprised looks while Bobo looked at him with rage but Mike had a I-have-a-plan expression on his face "you win, here have the energy" he grabbed it and walked towards Metal Sonic.
"Finally" Metal Sonic said as he held out his arms "now give it nice and slowly".
"Sure thing" Mike said as he was about to hand him the energy…
"Now!" Duncan's voice said as he and Roxy jumped on top of the robot and began to hit him, Metal Sonic tried hard to get the two off of him but they held on tight "Roxy! On my mark, we hold him to the ground!"
"Yes sir!" Roxy said "give the sign when you're ready!" she turned her attention away from Metal Sonic and towards Mike and Zoey helping Courtney up and Eva and Bobo holding the energy source "guys! Take the energy source to the others outside the temple! We'll follow you!"
"On it!" Zoey said as the five ran out the temple.
"Now!" Duncan said as he and Roxy held down the evil robot "Roxy! Go!"
"But what about you?" she asked him.
"I'll be fine!" Duncan said "just go!" Roxy gave a nod, let go of Metal Sonic and ran out of the temple, he turned his attention to Metal Sonic and began to punch him in the face "yeah! How do you like that? You freak!"
"Insignificant teenager" Metal Sonic said as he grabbed his arm "prepare to be exterminated!"
"Not on my watch!" DJ said as he grabbed Duncan by the shoulder and ran out of the temple with him, Metal Sonic got back up on his legs and scanned the two teenagers as they left.
"Life-form data has been copied" he said to himself, DJ ran down the stairs of the temple where everyone else was waiting for the two.
"We're back!" DJ said as he set Duncan down.
"You guys made it!" Alejandro said "we thought you two were goners!"
"Roxy told us about that robot hedgehog!" Heather said "we thought you two were dead meat!"
"But we're not!" Duncan said as he brushed himself off "do you guys have the energy source?"
"Yeah we do!" Mike said as he and Zoey held it up, Mike took a deep breath and became Chester "and if that Metal what's his name shows up, then I'll hit him with my cane!"
"You don't have a cane" Zoey told him, Chester/Mikel looked around until he saw a branch and quickly grabbed it and held it up to her face.
"Found one!" he said.
"Glad to see you're all alive" Shadow said as he walked towards the group with the other members "we heard something going on here! What happened?"
"And please tell me it is not one of my girls with an experimental weapon" Gru said as he rolled his eyes.
"I will tell you what happened" Courtney said as she walked towards the dark hedgehog "we just got attacked by a robot hedgehog!"
"That was Metal Sonic!" Maria said.
"Who's Metal Sonic?" Missing Link asked "is he some sort of alien?"
"No" Shadow said "he was created by Eggman to destroy Sonic".
"Sonic? Who's Sonic?" Bloom asked him.
"He's the fastest and most annoying thing alive" Shadow said "he's completely blue and always shows off".
"He sounds cool!" Trent said "for a hedgehog that is".
"Is Sonic your brother?" B.O.B. asked.
"For once" Link said as he walked to B.O.B. "that question made sense".
"No he's not" Shadow said "I was created 50 years ago! I am the ultimate life form! And Sonic's some kid of show-off do you really think we're related?!"
"He's just asking Shadow" Dr. Cockroach said "B.O.B. has no brain".
"Turns out you don't need one!" B.O.B. said "completely inappropriate!"
"Whatever" Shadow said "let's just get this to G.U.N. and get all of you home and help Bloom and her friends restore Magix!"
"And not to mention" Omega said "as you organics would put it, kick his butt!"
"Up top!" Helia said as he and Omega high-fived.
"Just come on!" Shadow said as he grabbed his chaos emerald and raised it in the air "Chaos…Control!" there was a bright light and they were gone.
