Badboy!Blaine and kinda nerdie!Kurt, a prompt from Sofia Michelle. (Ahh this is so not what you asked for! I'm sorry, the story just grew its own pair of legs and ran off)

Have I mentioned lately how much I love ya'll? Because I really do. :*

(Oh, also, I kinda forgot to say- the "project" I was working on was NaNoWriMo. I lost, aka didn't reach 50k words, but that's okay. I did have a great time!)

Rain

"Hey man!" calls Blaine as he approaches Kurt who's sitting on the grass with his phone nestled in his palm.

"Hi," Kurt looks up, smiling.

Something in Blaine's core shivers with that smile as he sits down and pulls a box of cigarettes out of his pocket. "Want one?" he asks, getting out a lighter.

"You wish," Kurt says and snatches the lighter from his hand.

"Hey!" calls Blaine, trying to take it back, but Kurt's arm is longer and he leans back so Blaine can't reach it. When Blaine gives up, he puts it in the back pocket of his jeans, and Blaine shoves the cigarettes back into his jacket.

"You're not smoking that crap next to me, Blaine. For the hundredth time, I don't need that junk in my lungs."

Blaine huffs. "Fine." He lies down on the grass, looking up at the sky. Everything is gray and gloomy. "It's gonna rain."

"Yup."

A thunder roars in the distance. The wind blows stronger, and Kurt shivers; he tries to stop so he can hit the right spot on the screen of his phone, but his finger is moving too much and he ends up pressing the wrong button.

"Are you cold?"

"A bit," answers Kurt with his teeth chattering.

"Do you want my jacket?" asks Blaine without thinking.

Kurt is taken aback for a few seconds, staring at Blaine with his gorgeous glasz eyes. Blaine's stomach flutters, and he tries to crush the feelings down.

"D-don't you want your jacket?"

"You can have it, if you're cold."

Kurt flashes him another smile, and he can't fight his feelings in moments like these. "It's ok-kay. I don't want you to be cold."

He cares that I won't be cold. "You can, um, maybe lie down with me?" he suggests, hopeful and scared. "And I can at least hug you or something."

"Blaine Anderson offering hugs? Be careful, mister, or people will stop fearing you," says Kurt as he leans down, and suddenly his face is close enough to just dart up and kiss, and Blaine has to physically resist the urge to do so.

Then Kurt shakes his head a little, as if to clear away a thought, and the moment has passed. "Um."

Blaine spreads his arms, holds his breath. Kurt inhales and exhales slowly, looking right into Blaine's eyes and Blaine is captivated, unable to look away.

Kurt slowly lowers himself to lay his head on Blaine's chest, and Blaine wraps his arms around him immediately. Kurt shivers one more time, and then seemingly grows warmer and more comfortable, liquid against Blaine.

The sky glows abruptly with a lightning, and seconds later a thunder barks out its throaty laugh.

Blaine closes his eyes when rain begins to drop down from the clouds, and Kurt makes no signs of moving, so they lie together, carefully distant and gratefully close, and their breaths sync until the next lightning strikes.
