(Bloom POV)
The only way to get to Acrom is by a floating boat. I must say when I heard that through Timmy's mouth I thought something had happened to his intelligence. But after he explained that technology can't be used in Acrom it made sense. The magic currents there can jam signals and the electric wave lengths effect air ships as such.
I use my portal pod to head to Joana Point. It's a look out point high in the Hiate Mountains in Eraklyon. I get there and there's a thin layer of mist in the early morning of this spring here. The lush green grass is covered in tiny daisies of blues, yellows and whites. The royal colors of Eraklyon.
Further ahead I see everyone all geared up in there battle suits like me. Tecna says there supposed to enhance our movements, I think its more for the boys considering we are going to be in our fairy forms… I hope its doesn't come to it.
"Bloom!" Lyla calls my name and I force a smile as I approach the group standing by a dock that leads off a cliff into the open air.
"Everyone ready." I ask and she nods, Nabu coming to join her looping and arm around her waist, keeping her close.
"You sure you up for this Nabu?" I tease, but I am considering weather to let him go or not considering things.
He gives me an exhausted look." Yes, I'll be fine. You didn't give up on me so I defiantly not giving up on you."
I smile genuinely " Thank you Nabu." Musa and Riven come over and I greet them before I see someone who isn't supposed to be here comes into view.
"Flora" I say loudly and she shoots her head in my direction. I notice to my joy that she isn't wearing the gear the rest of us are, just some jeans a baggy top and a big pink coat because of the chilling air this morning. I can see her baby bump has groan bigger.
"Don't worry I am not coming, like you ordered , just Heilia and I wanted to see you off."
I thought convincing Flora to stay was hard, but I made sure Heilia stayed with her. If he came and something happened to him I couldn't watch Flora raise her baby knowing I was the reason her daughter or son didn't have a father.
"Well that's very nice of you." I add with a smile. I don't know why it feels like I am saying goodbye for ever but it does and I push the tears back . "Now you take care of that baby of yours."
I pull her into a hug and I feel he confusion before she is hugging me back." I promise, and you take care of your self now to, okay."
" Okay." I laugh at her motherly tone which remains me of something." Flo, if something happens… can you check up on my parents-"
Flora pulls me out of the hug and holds me by the shoulders looking me into the eyes. " Bloom, you are coming back and your going to see your parents again… don't talk like that…"
All I can muster is a sad smile before Brandon is calling everyone to the dock. I say my final goodbye to her and head towards the large wooden dock that half way hangs off the cliff of Joana point.
"There's the woman of the hour." Brandon says with a smirk and I just shake my head with a laugh hugging Stella in the processes.
"So where is the big flying ship Timmy has been talking about?" I ask not seeing any form of transportation in sight.
"He and Sky went to go borrow it from the Eraklyon armed forces." Brandon says casually like its nothing. I just give him a weird look.
"Borrow?" I question.
"Where bringing it back, don't sweat it." Brandon waves off and I look to Stella who just shrugs her shoulders with 'I don't know' and I just laugh. It kind of feels like we're in Alfea again.
Before any more words are spoken there's a large guzzling noise that comes from the side view of the mountains. A large ship comes into view. Its made of fine dark wood and the sails look fifty feet high, shivering in the breeze. Its creaks echo through the mountains as it comes to a stop at the docks. A large wooden ramp hitting itself on the dock for us to get on.
Timmy comes off the ship first." Not bad hey!"
"Not bad indeed, Tim Tam." Riven jokes and walks past Timmy with a punch on the shoulder. We all start pilling on the ship. Once I am on deck, I feel the uneasy shift of the boat like it is on water. The only thing is if you go over board there's no soft landing.
"Is Sky on board." I ask not seeing him on the deck with the main sail ropes and other technical things you see sailors or pirates do on movies.
"Yeah, he insisted on driving this thing." Timmy says disappointed, I guess he is normally in charge of that." You'll find him in there."
Timmy points to a large box at the front of the ship, a door on its side. I guess that's where you stir this thing. I give Timmy a nod before I make my way there. I open the door and close it behind me. When I turn around the room is small, a glass window is at the front so you can see outside and the misty air that surrounds the ship. There is a big golden wheel in the Centre of the room, and holding it is Sky.
"Hey." I say causally, feeling nervous being alone with him again. He cocks his head to the side and barley puts a smile on his face before he turns back to looking at the front.
"Everyone on board?" he asks as I step further in to the room. Watching how we leave the mountain pass and come into open sky.
"Yeah, they're getting ready." I reply. There's this uneasy tension between us and I have never had before with Sky. Its almost awkward, and I hate to think after all this time we have grown apart to this point. "I also wanted to thank you for coming to help-"
Sky cuts me off before I can finish" I came Bloom because my planet, my father did your planet wrong and I am here to make it right. That's all."
"Oh…." is all I can say. The words crush me, so hard in that moment I find it hard to breathe. I find some words from some where." I guess a thank you is in order for your services."
We nod at each other before I leave through the door again and compose myself. I hadn't intended on feeling the way I do now. Sky and I. the two of us. I didn't realize until now of how much I wanted to be with him again. How much I miss him right beside me. And it's all my fault.
There's a shift on the boat, and I quickly run over to the railing around the edge of the boat and lean over. And there I see the city of Acrom. Just like the picture in the stain glass window.
And I know that from this moment on everything is going to change.

Okay first things first, I am sorry for the slow updates. And I am sorry this isn't a very long chapter.
Yes, its been a while but I have had a case of writers block for this story. I don't know if its motivation or I can't bring myself to write the ending. So please bare with me. I am going to re-read my stories and see if I can get back into the zone of capturing the minds of the winx club again.
You guys, I have to say are the BEST FOLLOWS ever of this story and I am so lucky you care so much an love this story so much.
But I am also a little sad. As you might have seen I like to write my own stories on wattpad, I just started a new story I am really excited about called 'His Purpose' and it's a werewolf story. But some of the comments on His Purpose are not about the story ,but about this one, The Lost Years. I don't appreciate you leaving comments on His Purpose not about my wattpad story. If you want to contact me message me on wattpad at GeorgetteT or on Fanfiction at CassyLee, or review down below. I know it might seem like I disappear but I do get all you reviews and message when u send them, I just suck at replying, just don't do it on my other stories on wattpad!
So as I said before bare with me, I will aim for this weekend to have another chapter up.
