Chapter 19: The Crisis in the city
Synopsis: The fifth group arrives in Crisis city to search for the last two chaos emeralds and run into a familiar evil face with a captive! Meanwhile, G-Woman pays a visit to Magix.
The ruins of Crisis city crumbled in the mist of the torn up future of no explanation on how it was all destroyed, lava poured out a building and hit a pile of cars, a bright ball of energy lite up the entire scene and disappeared a second later with Silver, Blaze, Ratchet, Clank, Kim, Jackson, Snotlout and Fishlegs standing in its place.
"So this is Crisis city? Funny, the name fits well with the scenery" Kim said as she looked around.
"Yeah, but it wasn't always like this" Silver said.
"What do you mean?" Jackson asked.
"Before the mix-up, Crisis City use to be a peaceful city with no pain or chaos" Silver said "but something happened and everything became this".
"That seems like the possible explanation for this calamity" Clank said.
"Explanation?" Snotlout asked.
"Perhaps something happened during the mix-up that caused the outcome of the future" Clank said "if one of the teams did not succeed during the mission to retrieve the chaos emeralds and stones and Eggman got them before they did, he created a weapon of mass destruction that spelt doom to all and this is the result".
"Clank has a point" Silver said "We need to find the last two emeralds before Eggman does".
"You're right, we should split up" Ratchet said.
"Split up? Are you insane?!" Silver shouted "neither one of you will survive this world if we split up! We need to stick together!"
"Silver's right, you guys know nothing about this world" Blaze said "you all we need our help to get around this timeline".
"Timeline?" Clank asked.
"This world is a timeline 200 years in the future" Silver said.
"Then how come the emeralds came here if the others and the stones were sent into different dimensions?" Kim asked.
"I don't know, it all must be part of Eggman's plan" Silver said.
"If so, we need to find them before he does" Jackson said "I don't want to live in world where and evil doctor rules everything!"
"Good point" Snotlout said.
"Silver, we need to split up to find the emeralds" Jackson said to the white hedgehog.
"No! We stick together!" Silver said.
"I'm with Silver on this" Blaze said "the moment you all leave, something will kill all of you".
"And these something's are?" Ratchet asked.
"Biters, Golems, Takers and Worms" Silver said "that is, if they still exist".
"Silver, don't be ridiculous" Blaze said "Iblis is destroyed, as well as his minions".
"That doesn't mean if Eggman created a new one!" Silver said.
"Guys! Quit fighting! We're not going to make any pace if you two keep fighting!" Ratchet said "if Silver thinks we should stay in a group, then we should stay in a group!"
"Finally! Someone agrees with me!" Silver said.
"Ahem" Blaze coughed.
"As well as you Blaze!" Silver said as he rubbed the back of his head and a roll of sweat rolled down his head.
"Thank you" Blaze said.
"So it's agreed, we all stay in a group" Clank said.
"I don't know, I still think we need to split up" Jackson said.
"Too late!" Kim said as she grabbed his hand and dragged him along with the group, his legs dragging on the ground and creating a double tunnel in the dirt, Jackson pulled out his phone and began to dial Frankie's number.
"If you're trying to call Frankie, I don't think it's going to work" Silver said "we're 200 years into the future, there's no way she's going to-"
"Hello? Frankie? It's me Jackson" Jackson said on the phone, Silver's eyes widened with shock to see the result.
"Guess phone reception really does work in the future" Silver said to himself, the group walked along the torn streets of the city to see crumbling buildings becoming engulfed in fire and lava, Snotlout took a piece of metal and chucked it into the lava, causing it to burn and melt rapidly.
"Hey Silver, are there other people in this future?" Ratchet asked.
"Fortunately, yes" Silver said "although I don't know where they are".
"Me and Silver were separated from them when the mix-up happened" Blaze said.
"Everyone! Look!" Fishlegs said as he pointed to the front of the group, resting on a broken car was the white chaos emerald.
"Alright! And on the way here too!" Kim said as she rushed over to it.
"Kim! Wait!" Silver said but the teenage girl was already running to car and had almost grabbed the emerald…When something suddenly leapt out of nowhere and grabbed it.
"What the heck?!" Kim gasped, everyone looked around to see who or what grabbed the white chaos emerald until they all saw an upright turtle with a red shell with a red ninja mask on, in his right hand was the white chaos emerald.
"Dudes! Check it out!" the turtle said as he turned around to face three more turtles with a black mask, green mask and a yellow mask that were the same colors as their shells.
"Awesome bro! Neat righteous rock you snagged!" the black masked turtle said "lord Bowser is going to be pleased!"
"Hey you guys! Give that back!" Ratchet said as he ran towards the four turtles and prepared to attack with his plasma whip until the green masked turtle jumped up and did a shell spin and slammed against Ratchet, sending him flying into a broken car.
"Score bro!" the turtle said.
"Ratchet, are you okay me friend?" Clank asked as he rushed over to his friend.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Ratchet said as he rubbed his head and looked at the turtles "who are those guys?"
"Let me show you dude!" the red masked turtle said as he grabbed a boom box from behind his back and placed it on the ground, he pressed on a button and the song "Texas Faggot" started to play, the four turtles turned their backs and tapped their feet before turning back to the group.
"Billy!"
"Erwin!"
"RICKY!"
MICKY!"
And we are… The Teenage mutant ninja Koopas!" the four turtles said but their eyes suddenly widened with embarrassment.
"Yellow, dude" the red turtle said as he turned to the yellow turtle "you got the wrong song".
"Sorry bro" yellow said.
"We are the Koopa Bros!" red said as he turned back to the group "we work for lord Bowser and his alliance of villains!"
"Yeah, him and his radical crew are looking for these emeralds and they already lost six of them to the other heroes!" black said.
"Six? But the other emerald is supposed to be here!" Silver said "unless…"
"Unless the sixth emerald was sent to another dimension instead of this one when the seventh was sent here!" Blaze said.
"Well, I guess we won't have to find it then" Snotlout said.
"Yeah, but that means they have what we need!" Jackson said as he turned to the Koopa Bros "look, you guys don't want to mess with us and me either, if I turn into someone else that is".
"Oh yeah? What are you dudes going to do about it?" green asked "nothing! Because all of you are just too scared to get this righteous stone back!"
"Scared? I believe you guys are the ones who should be scared" Silver said "you guys better give us the emerald before someone gets hurt!"
"No way dude! This is ours! Fair and square!" red said.
"Alright, you asked for it!" Silver said as he held his hand in the air, the Koopa bros only laughed when suddenly, they felt themselves being lifted into the air.
"Hey! What's going on?!" red shouted as he was suddenly spun around in the air, Kim and Ratchet laughed at the Koopa's experience, Silver then twirled his finger around and the Koopa bros began to spin violently until the white chaos emerald was thrown out of red's grasp and fell into Silver's hand "HEEEEYYYY DUUUUUUDDEE! THAAAATTT'S OOUUURRR GGEEEEEMMM!"
"Not anymore it's not!" Silver said as he flung his hand up in the air and the Koopa Bros were sent soaring across the city.
"Alright Silver!" Snotlout said "you got the emerald!"
"And now we all can-" Silver was cut off when evil laughing echoed throughout the city, the group looked around to see where the laughing came from but no visible sign of the person responsible was shown.
"Well, congratulations Silver!" a deep voice said.
"That voice…" Silver said to himself, recognizing it "it's sounds so familiar…"
"Oh, did you forget me Silver?" the voice said "look towards the sky to see who I am!" the group looked up to the sky to see a crystalized being that somehow resembled a hedgehog, Silver and Blaze gasped at the sight of this person.
"No… It can't be" Silver said silently to himself "How is this possible!? You were destroyed!"
"Who is that?" Snoutlout asked.
"Foolish child, I am Mephiles! Mephiles the dark!" the hedgehog said "I am the one who brings the darkness, the one who brings oblivion to all who see me!"
"How are you here? You were destroyed!" Blaze said "all of Solaris was destroyed along with you the last time we have met!"
"Oh Blaze, you should really get to know me better" Mephiles said "I escaped when I saw my chance through a slip in time, only to come back at the time eater!"
"The time eater?" Jackson asked.
"Yes, sadly, my victory was short lived when that blasted blue hedgehog came from both past and present!" Mephiles said angrily.
"…Sonic…" Kim mumbled under her breath.
"But once I get him in my presence, I shall bring achieve victory!" Mephiles said before giving an evil laugh that sent shivers down the group's spines "and I have just the perfect bait to help my victory come to be! A few captives is all I need!" Mephiles raised his hand in the air and a cage made of dark material floated up to him, inside the cage were four captives.
The first captive seemed to be an anthropomorphic squirrel wearing a blue jacket and yellow shoes, his face seemed a little chubby and two buck teeth were showing.
The second seemed to be a tall creature that was completely white all over his body, his two eyes were black dots and a large nose sat underneath them, his only clothing were a brown sleeveless jacket and a brown hat.
The third seemed to be at least 75 inches tall, his face was flat and his eyes closed, possibly of fear, a large nose rested under them and he was wearing a space suit-like piece of clothing.
The fourth wore the same clothing as the first but his head was taller with a red nose and closed eyes also, his mouth was cupper into an O shape.
"Release those captives Mephiles! And we'll go easy on you!" Ratchet said, Mephiles only gave another evil laugh and scoffed at Ratchet.
"Foolish boy! Do you really think I'll release these captives for all of you?" Mephiles asked as he crossed his arms "these filthy beasts shall not be going anywhere, as soon as Sonic arrives, I shall kill him!"
"Well, I don't you will!" Fishlegs said "Sonic's in another dimension! And it will be completely difficult to find him because he's-"
"Captured" Mephiles finished.
"Captured?" Kim asked.
"Yes, he has been captured" Mephiles said "no matter, I shall find out where he is and kill him there!"
"Not before we find him!" Ratchet said as he grabbed his plasma whip "now release those captives and we'll go easy on you!" Mephiles looked at the Lombax with cold eyes and began to chuckle darkly and suddenly began to laugh in an insane manner.
"These captives aren't going anywhere" Mephiles said "before I kill you all, do you have any final last words?"
"Yeah, just a few" Jackson said as he grabbed his headphones from his pockets and placed the in his ears, he turned on his ICoffin's music player to rock and roll and transformed into Holt "bring it on freak! Holt is in the house!"
"You're not going to win Mephiles! Not then and not ever!" Silver said as the group readied themselves for the battle, Mephiles chuckled evilly and created a clone army of himself around the heroes, the group looked around to see the clone army and became nervous.
"Oh, we're in deep trouble" Snotlout whimpered.
"Prepare to die!" Mephiles shouted and laughed evilly…
Meanwhile…
Bloom walked down the destroyed hallways of Alfea with sadness and grieve in her heart, she looked around her to see the skeletons of fairies who did not make it in the Eggman attack, she sadly sighed and continued to walk along, she looked through the demolished walls to see the camp where she and her friends were aiding the survivors of the attack, she saw Sky and Shadow help a limping fairy get to her tent, Dr. Cockroach and Hope were rebuilding a jeep to find more survivors and Maria was bringing fresh water to a group of fairies found earlier, she smiled and walked back to the camp, knowing that there was still hope for the destroyed magic dimension.
"Hello Bloom" a chilling voice said, Bloom turned around to see who had spoken to her but no one was there "looking for me? If you are, I would look this way…" Bloom slowly turned her head to back of her to see a figure wearing a dark robe.
"W…Who are you are?" she asked with confusion.
"My identity is none of your concern right now" the figure said "but I know who you are, princess of Domino? Am I right?" Bloom gave a silent nod "and you're the only line to your parent's heir?"
"How do you know that? Who are you?" Bloom asked, getting impatient.
"My name is G-Woman" the figure said "and you will tell me where the other hero alliance members are before I start pushing your buttons".
"Hero alliance?" Bloom asked.
"A group of heroes from many dimensions" G-Woman said "I already have first four groups, now tell me where the other three are or I shall-"
"Lady, I don't know what you're talking about but I think you should keep your anger in check" Bloom said.
"My, impatient aren't we?" G-Woman asked as she crossed her arms "maybe you should watch your mouth missy".
"And you should-"
"Bloom! Get over here!" Shadow shouted, Bloom quickly turned around and ran back to the camp while G-Woman watched her, she immediately saw Shadow and smirked evilly, Bloom quickly ran up to the camp to find Shadow with Dr. Cockroach, Gru and Agent Six.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Bloom asked.
"We need to get everyone out of this dimension, now" Shadow said.
"What? Why?" Bloom asked.
"Those damn teens disappeared" Shadow said.
"What?" Bloom asked, realizing that the teens were the Total Drama contestants "where did they go?"
"How should I know?" Shadow asked as he looked at her with a dirty glare "they can't even stand still for a solid minute!"
"Then why should everyone leave Magix?" Bloom asked.
"That's another reason" Six said "I've been given a message from white to let all the inhabitants of this world to exit and find a home suitable for them until this dimension can be repaired".
"And that will be done in no time with my new world-regeneratron 300!" Dr. Cockroach said "I just have to finish building it".
"And how exactly are you going to finish it?" Gru asked.
"Patience my friend, patience" Dr. Cockroach said "I just to connect the last few wires and-"
"Okay, you don't use wires in a Tron!" Gru said "you use microchips!"
"How should you know? Have you built one of my inventions?" Dr. Cockroach asked angrily.
"No! But I'm sure they've blown up in your face after you built them!" as the two bickered back and forth, Bloom and Shadow walked away and the two didn't even notice.
"Okay, we need a world where it's lush and green" Bloom said.
"Mobius is an option" Shadow said.
"You're world?" Bloom asked "that's a great idea!"
"Hopefully Mobius will be suitable for inter-dimensional life forms" Shadow said as he turned around and walked away, Bloom smiled with glee and quickly darted to her and Sky's tent.
"Sky! Sky!" she said happily as she entered the tent to find Sky absent, she exited it and walked around the camp to find him but she saw no sign of her fiancé, she suddenly felt a light tap on her shoulder and turned around to see the big daddy with the little sister on top of its shoulder, the little sister smiled down at her and waved, Bloom smiled back and waved "hi there!"
"Hello Mrs. Fairy" the little sister said "thank you and your friends for saving us!" the big daddy gave a bellowing groan in response and patted Bloom's head in a gentle fashion.
"You're welcome" Bloom said.
"Mrs. Fairy, somebody's trying to attack the camp!" the little sister said as she pointed ahead of Bloom, she quickly spun her head around to see and army of Egg-Pawns, Egg-Robo's, Badniks, Swat Bots and Shadow Androids with Metal Sonic in the lead of it all.
"Oh no…" Bloom said.
"ATTACK!" Metal Sonic yelled and the army was off for the attack.
"Come on Mr. Bubbles! Let's get them!" the little sister said to the big daddy, the big daddy gave a bellow and charged at the army, Bloom watched as a speeding force went at the army and saw that it was Rex and Sky running towards the army, Rex transformed his hands into his smack hands and his feet into his punk busters and smashed and destroyed a group of the Egg-pawns, Sky readied his sword and sliced a shadow android in the neck, causing it to exploded, Rex then used his smack hands to clap to create a sonic boom that destroyed three swat-bots, the big daddy used his drill hand to slice into the chest of an egg-robo while the little sister kicked a Badnik in the back.
"Don't just stand there! Let's give them a hand!" Bloom suddenly saw Stella, Brandon, Maria, Pogoriki, Link, Six, Susan and Lucy ran past her and charged at the invading army of Eggman's robots.
"Hang on!" Bloom said as she transformed into her Winx form and charged at the robots, Link jumped into the air and came crashing towards two shadow androids and used his strength to smash them, Six used his two slicers to cut across a group of egg-pawns and kicked an egg-pawn in the face, smashing it instantly. Susan grew to immense size and smashed a group of Egg-Robo's and used her giant hand to destroy several shadow androids, Lucy grabbed her lip-stick Taser from her purse and zapped a swat-bot in the face, sizzling its main computer chip instantly and then she zapped another swat-bot, Stella and Bloom did a double kick to two swat-bots and then smashed the faces of the two swat-bots with their fists, Pogoriki jumped up into the air and hopped onto an egg-pawn and began to chew at its face, more and more of the robots came charging at the camp but the group used their powers and weapons to fend them off, Metal Sonic watched as the group kept on destroying the army and quickly flew away, he zoomed through the decaying, burnt forest and soon came up to the landed egg-carrier, he went through the opened bottom hatch and came into Eggman's main control room where the doctor was sitting on his chair while Romulus-Bot fanned him.
"Metal Sonic, how go's the invasion?" Eggman asked.
"Not well Lord Eggman" Metal Sonic replied with a bow before looking up at the doctor "the army is being reduced to scrap metal and the group is prospering".
"WHAT?!" Eggman yelled as he got up from his chair and walked over to the robot, towering over him with an evil glare in his eyes "how are they winning?!"
"Apparently you have underestimated them" Metal Sonic muttered under his breathe.
"What was that?" Eggman growled under his breathe.
"Nothing!" Metal Sonic said "shall I order another army to attack the camp?" Eggman folded his arms behind his back and began to pace around the room, trying to come up with a solution to his problem, Metal Sonic watched the doctor as he paced when suddenly, Eggman snapped his fingers and a twisted grin came on his face.
"That's it! Metal Sonic, open the inter-dimensional wormhole" Eggman said "if we're going to defeat the enemy, we need an energy source!"
"And where shall we find this said energy source?" Metal Sonic asked.
"Only one place and one place only!" Eggman said as he walked towards the door to the main control room, it slid open and he walked into the room where he sat down on his main chair and prepared to work on the computer, he gave a deep evil laugh as he set in the coordinates to the dimension.
Meanwhile…
Headmistress Bloodgood sat alone in her miniature cell as she waited for the dreaded doctor to come back and force her to marry him, even though she didn't really want to, she cried softly to herself as she waited for the wedding to begin. Bocoe and Docoe walked into the room and walked towards her cell, Bocoe grabbed the key from his back and placed it in the keyhole.
"The dress is ready, would you like to see it?" Bocoe asked as he opened the cell door.
"No!" Bloodgood barked at them, both robots flinched and quickly closed the door again when suddenly, two hands quickly punched themselves into their heads and they fell onto the ground unconscious.
"Bloodgood!" a familiar voice said, Bloodgood looked to see Howleen, Twyla, Julius and Agent Pandy the Panda standing before the cell, Howleen quickly grabbed the key from Bocoe and quickly unlocked the door, Bloodgood rushing out of the room and hugged Howleen, Twyla and Pandy while Julius backed away from her and crossed his arms.
"Oh thank you children!" she cried "thank you for freeing me from Eggman!"
"Yeah, whatever" Julius said "now let's get back to the group before something happens!"
"But what about Romulus?" Howleen asked "we can't just leave him a robot!"
"Who cares? That monster isn't worth my time" Julius said dryly, Howleen growled at him and marched over to him, she poked her clawed finger at his chest and looked at him with a stern face.
"Listen here bud! We are going to rescue Romulus and that's that!" Howleen said.
"Have you forgotten the consequences of failing the mission?" Julius asked as returned the look "face it wolf, that monster is just going to ruin everything! And besides, I already have enough trouble with your bratty ways".
"Bratty ways?" Howleen asked as her eye twitched.
"Yeah, so deal with the fact that there's no way to help him!" Julius said as he raised the chaos stone in the air "good luck trying to find your way out of this ship, because you just lost your ride!"
"Julius! No!" Howleen shouted.
"Master…" Julius began as he closed his eyes, Howleen quickly grabbed Twyla's, Bloodgood's and Pandy's hands and grasped onto Julius's before he could finish the sentence "control!" a white light engulfed the five and disappeared with the five missing.
Meanwhile….
The last of the egg-pawns faced against Rex and Bloom as the two were cornered by the Alfea school for fairies ruins, Rex quickly transformed his hand into the big fat sword and Bloom's hands were engulfed in dragon flames, she threw the flames in the air while Rex used his sword to catch them and sliced the egg-pawns in half, engulfing the remains in flames.
"Ah yeah! Power move!" Rex said as he turned to her and gave her a high-five.
"Good work you two" Shadow said as he walked over to them "the fairies are ready to head to Mobius, after that, we'll look for Sonic".
"Alright Shadow, do your stuff" Bloom said, Shadow nodded and walked back to a group of the surviving fairies, the freedom fighters stood with them and smiled at Shadow, Shadow nodded and raised his chaos emerald in the air.
"Chaos…Control!" he shouted, a bright light engulfed the fairies, freedom fighters and shadow and disappeared, the group watched the event and waited for the black blur to return.
"So where are the contestants?" Aisha asked B.O.B.
"Who?" B.O.B. asked.
"Never mind" Aisha said as she face-palmed herself, the bright light suddenly returned and disappeared with Shadow in its place, the dark hedgehog placed his emerald back in his pocket and nodded.
"Mission complete" Shadow said.
"Alright Shadow!" Bloom said.
"Now let's go find those teenagers before-" he was suddenly cut off when his eyes perked up and he fell onto his face, a small tranquilizer dart in his rump.
"Shadow!" Maria gasped when she suddenly felt something pin her in the butt and she fell over with a dart as well, Bloom suddenly gasped and rushed over to her.
"Omega!" she said.
"A little busy right now!" Omega said, Bloom looked to see him and Robecca somehow trapped in a steel cage while he tried to break it open but the cage was indestructible.
"Bloom! Run!" Sky shouted but it was too late, a tranquilizer dart hit her in the neck and she fell onto the ground, watching the world go fuzzy and her friends being shot with darts as well, causing them all to fall asleep until she finally closed her eyes.
Crisis City…
The army of Mephiles clones circled the group of heroes while the real Mephiles watched from up in the air with the captives in their cages, Mehpiles gave a deep laugh and pointed at the group, as if on cue, the clones started to march towards them.
"We need a plan!" Jackson said.
"Here's the plan, we fight!" Ratchet said as he grabbed his blaster from his pocket and began to shoot at the clones.
"We can't just fight! Mephiles as the chaos emerald!" Silver said.
"And the captives" Blaze said.
"And the captives!" Silver said, repeating what Blaze had just said.
"Fine, we'll handle the clones while you and Blaze handle Mephiles" Ratchet said.
"You guys sure you can handle all of these things?" Silver asked.
"Got any better ideas?" Snotlout asked as he punched a clone in the face.
"Alright, come on Blaze!" Silver said as he grabbed Blaze's hand and flew up into the air, the two went back to back and did a double spin-dash, hitting Mephiles in the chest, the evil…Whatever Mephiles is… flew back in the air but regained his stand and began to shoot crystalized orbs from his palm, Silver and Blaze dodged the orbs and Mephiles started to fire crystalized spears at the two, Silver flew up into the air and did a gravity dive at Mephiles and delivered a psycho smash in his face, Silver then created an energy orb and threw at it at the dark monster, hitting him in the face, Mephiles winced at the pain but grew more enraged at his adversary when Silver suddenly did another psycho smash at his face and delivered a homing attack to Mephiles in the chest. Blaze jumped up into the air and began to spin when her body suddenly became wrapped in flames and she stopped to deliver a wave of the flames at Mephiles, Mephiles became burnt at this attack but continued to fight on by throwing another wave of orbs and spears at the two, both heroes dodged the attacks when Mephiles suddenly created a wave of energy and threw it at them, Silver and Blaze couldn't dodge the attack in time and went flying backwards.
"Ah hahahahahahahahaha! Pathetic! You two have no idea what you're going up against" Mephiles said as he floated down to the two, Silver and Blaze got back up and faced their foe and charged at him but he grabbed them both by the arms, shocking them both while he stared at them with his cold lifeless eyes "you two are underestimating me, I have gotten stronger since our last encounter".
"But how is that possible?" Silver asked "you should've gotten weaker when you escaped! Without any way to get your power, you would've been weak! Just like the way we were fighting!"
"I was merely amusing you" Mephiles said "the true power I have awaits you both!" with these words, Mephiles then grabbed the two by the throat and threw them into the side of a building, he then created an orb of dark energy that started to get bigger until it was the size of a small van, he threw the energy at the two and it exploded on contact, sending Silver and Blaze flying through the building and into the rubble on the ground. Mephiles then created a wave of dark energy spears and threw it down at them, slicing through their skin and piercing their flesh, the two yelled out in pain but Mephiles wasn't done, he then created another van-sized energy orb and threw it down at the ground, causing it to create a crater and sending the two flying into the air, Mephiles teleported at them and slashed his sharp knife-like claws at their body, he then curled up into a ball and did a homing attack on the two and delivered a powerful punch to both of them to finish them off, Silver and Blaze finally fell limp from the attacks and came crashing to the ground with a sickening thud from both of them. Silver looked up at the sky with tired and defeated eyes to see the maniacal dark being floating down at him and Blaze with another energy orb.
"M….Mephiles…Yo…You….W…O…" Silver could say no more and his eyes closed, Mephiles have another evil laugh and held the orb above his head.
"I'm sorry I couldn't hear you" Mephiles said "I was too busy killing you!"
"Hey freak! Leave them alone!" a voice yelled, Mephiles looked behind him to see the captive squirrel suddenly flying at him and delivered a kick to his face, the orb of energy fell out of Mephiles hands and disappeared while the squirrel grabbed a bat from his back and began to whack Mephiles in the chest and back with it.
"Bah! Enough with this!" Mephiles said as he grabbed the bat and snapped it in half "prepare to die!"
"I don't think so!" Mephiles looked to see the two small astronauts come running at him and attacked… His legs by kicking and punching them but the size of their bodies and fists and legs made it hard for any actual pain to be inflicted on the villain, Mephiles began to chuckle deeply and laughed harder.
"Fools! You cannot defeat me at that size!" he said as he bent over and grabbed the two in the palm of his hand "hmm… When I squeeze your bodies, how do they go? Pop? Or crack?"
"Let them go!" a back-breaking kick suddenly hit Mephiles in the back, making him release the two and fly across the street, Holt was the one responsible for the attack and quickly grabbed the two spacemen "you two okay?"
"Fine, we're fine" the first one said "but you must stop that being before it's took late!"
"Don't worry, let me handle this!" the white creature said as lunged onto Mephiles and began to deliver blow after blow while Mephiles tried to get up until the white creature finally delivered the final blow that made the demon mad…
"Enough!" Mephiles yelled as he threw the white creature off of him and began to float in the air "you fools! You have no idea who you are messing with! I shall return with others that shall make you all sorry for fighting a member of the villainous alliance!" Mephiles gave a dark laugh that sent shivers down everyone's spines and disappeared in a thick cloud of smoke.
"Ugh… Nightmares!" the squirrel said, Silver and Blaze suddenly began to stir and woke up from their slumber and saw the squirrel, Holt holding the spacemen and the white creature but Mephiles gone.
"Where's Mephiles?" Silver asked.
"He disappeared" Holt said "he just… Poof! Like that!"
"Finally, thought he would never leave!" Blaze said "wait, where are the others?"
"Right here" Ratchet said as he, Clank, Kim, Fishlegs and a petrified Snotlout walked towards the two "the clones are gone and not a single one left".
"Thanks, what happened to him?" Silver asked as he pointed to Snotlout.
"It was horrible" Snotlout said.
Flashback…
The heroes that chose to stay and fight the clones were completely surrounded by the army of clones and tried to fight back but every time one of them would attack, a new clone took its place.
"It's hopeless! They won't die!" Kim said "if only we have something to use that would kill them!"
"We could use fire" Ratchet said as he grabbed a lighter from his back "but we need something very powerful to ignite it".
"I heard that human gas is a reliable source" Clank said.
"But where are going to find enough gas?" Fishlegs asked, a sudden sound of a fart suddenly caught their attention to see Snotlout, the Viking boy gave a confused look and looked at the group.
"What?" he asked, everyone smirked at each other…
Back to present…
After the story was told, Silver, the squirrel and the creature couldn't help but laugh out loud in the poor boy's face, Snotlout only crossed his arms and pouted.
"It's not that funny" he said.
"Well funny or not, we have the emerald and the captives are freed" Silver said before turning to the squirrel "how did you guys free yourselves anyway?"
"Simple, with a nail!" the squirrel said "name's Conker!"
"Hello Conker" Silver said, the white creature suddenly peeked up from behind Blaze and extended his hand in front of her, Blaze became creep out and shook the creatures hand.
"I'm Smiley bone!" Smiley said.
"Uh…Hello" Blaze said.
"Captain Olimar and Captain Louie at your service!" Olimar said as he and Louie jumped out of Holt's hand and walked before Silver "thank you young man for risking your and your friend's lives to save us!"
"It was no big deal" Silver said "I'm Silver and these are my friends, Blaze, Kim, Ratchet, Clank, a random blue guy…"
"Hey!" Holt said as he took off his headphones and turned back into Jackson "I resent that!"
"Sorry" Silver said "That's Jackson, Snotlout and Fishlegs!"
"Pleasure to meet you all" Olimar said "now if you could mind telling us where we are".
"Sure, you're in Crisis city" Silver said "my friends and I were looking for a chaos emerald when Mephiles appeared with you guys as his captives".
"Hey, where is Mephiles?" Kim asked.
"He escaped" Blaze said "luckily, we still have the chaos emerald, right Silver?"
"Sure do!" Silver said as he grabbed the emerald from behind his back "wonder why he didn't take it".
"We can worry about that later!" Fishlegs said "first we all need to get to-"
"How about, more like where you all are going to be!" a voice said, the group suddenly turned around to see a woman wearing a robe walking towards them with a small grenade in her hands.
"Hey, who are you?" Ratchet asked, the woman didn't answer but only threw the grenade at the group and it landed with a hard thud, everyone suddenly ducked and waited for the explosion when suddenly, instead of an explosion, gas started to seep out of it, causing everyone to look at it and become woozy.
"Oh no, here come the sleepies!" Smiley joked before falling unconscious along with everyone else, the woman walked towards the group with an evil smile on her face and quickly grabbed the emerald from Silver's hand and looked at it.
"That's seven emeralds, I just need the last chaos stones and then the plan will fall into action" she said to herself "robots! Pick up the captives and take them to the ship!" a group of robots walked past her and grabbed the heroes on the ground and began to carry them to a massive ship landed on the ground….
