Chapter 21: Pupununu Juju

Synopsis: The final group arrives in the jungles of PuPununu to find the seventh and eighth chaos stones, only to discover it's in an ancient temple that holds an ancient secret with twists and turns of deadly proportions.

In the dense jungles of Pupununu, a blinding white light appeared and disappeared a second later with Tak, Espio, Ghoulia, Rouge, A.S.H.T.O.N., Omega, Mario and Luigi standing in the jungle, Tak took a deep breath and exhaled.

"Home sweet home" he said as he twirled his staff "let's get searching!"

"Hang on Tak, we can't just go finding the stones just yet" Rouge said "we need Julius's robot to scan the area and-".

"Scan complete" Omega said as he walked past the two and pointed in front of himself, Ghoulia gave a low moan like she was asking a question "the two chaos stones are located within several hundred yards and are hidden in an ancient temple".

"Ancient temple?" Espio asked "perhaps you can be a little more specific, where is this temple located?"

"Within several hundred yards, as I said" Omega said as he began to walk on "we must hurry, we are not the only ones looking for the stone".

"There are-a others looking for the-a stones?" Mario asked.

"Affirmative" Omega said "a tentacle face alien and three witches are looking in the temple".

"We should hurry, the faster we find the stone, the better" Espio said.

"Good idea Espio" Tak said before raising his staff "Juju's! Guide us to the chaos stones!" the others watched him like he was the craziest person in the world, Luigi gave a high laugh and Tak began to walk into the dense jungle "this way everyone!" Mario and Luigi looked at each other and nodded.

"Let's-a go!" they both said as they leapt into the air and jumped after Tak, Rouge flew up into the air and flew after the three, Espio grabbed Ghoulia's hand and led her into the jungle while A.S.H.T.O.N. and Omega walked behind the group. In the jungle, the group avoided any pits, quicksand, traps and Mario had to pull Luigi from out of a snake's mouth. Raising his staff in the air, Tak watched as it shined a bright orange light and pointed the way deeper in the jungle.

"We're almost there, the Juju's are showing the way!" he said as he ran into the dense foliage, leaving behind the group.

"Tak! Wait for is!" Rouge said as she flew after him while avoiding any branches that would get in her way and knock her out of the air, the Mario Bros. Jumped after her with Espio, Ghoulia and A.S.H.T.O.N. now on Omega's back and the large robot flying after the others until…

"Guys! Look!" Tak said, the group came up next to him as they looked at the very said thing he was showing them, each one of them looked at with wide eyes, standing before everyone was a massive temple only five feet away.

"Wow! That's a big one!" Rouge said.

"What are we all-a waiting for? Let's-a go!" Mario said, Luigi gave a slight shiver and groan and hid behind him.

"Oh no! I'm not-a going to go-a in there!" Luigi said.

"Cry baby" Rouge said " okay J-00031 Omega, can you locate the area where the stones are?" she asked as she turned to large robot.

"Negative, scanners unable to locate, too much negative energy inside the temple" Omega said.

"Sounds like dark Juju to me" Tak said "do you guys think that it's interfering with the chaos stones?"

"Maybe, we'll just have to look and see" Espio said as he was the first to walk up to the temple and go up its stairs with Ghoulia behind him.

"You heard the lizard! Let's go!" Tak said as the group follow the two…

Inside the temple…

"Geez, look at this place" Tak said as the group entered a hallway in the temple with spider webs and skeletons lying around just about everywhere, Luigi was starting to become scared out of his mind because of the scenery and pulled his hat over his eyes.

"Scared already plumber?" Rouge asked with a smirk slowly crawling onto her face, Luigi's teeth began to chitter with the obvious amount of fear that had gotten into him and nodded furiously.

"Luigi! Look-a out!" Mario said, not understanding what he meant, Luigi turned his head back to his brother when he heard a soft click and was almost immediately greeted by an arrow to the throat if Mario had lunged at him and kept him pinned to the ground, dozens of arrows suddenly began to shoot out of the walls and towards the group, Rouge grabbed Espio and Tak and held them up with her hands as she cling to the ceiling of the temple with her boots, arrows didn't even do any damage to Ghoulia when they entered her stomach, arms, back, legs and chest since she was already dead, Omega and A.S.H.T.O.N. dodged the arrows and blasted the walls with their blasters, destroying them into rubble when suddenly, the hallway of the temple began to collapse.

"Everyone run!" Rouge said as she began to fly out of the room with Tak and Espio holding onto her arms.

"I couldn't agree-a more!" Luigi shrieked as he ran for his life, Mario grabbed the slow Ghoulia and carried her bridal style out of the hallway and Omega and A.S.H.T.O.N. flew out of the hallway as it collapsed, making sure they were distant from the hallway, the group fell onto the floor.

"What the heck were you two thinking?" Tak shouted at the two robots.

"We were merely trying to dispose of the arrows" Omega said.

"Well you two nearly got us all killed!" Tak said "you don't blast at walls to get rid of arrows!"

"Guys! The more we fight, the less of a chance we have to get the stones!" Rouge said as she came between the two and held them back from each other.

"She's-a right, we need to work together!" Mario said.

"You organics can work together, but we are leaving" Omega said as he turned around and A.S.H.T.O.N. doing the same with both of them leaving.

"Wait! Where are you two going?" Espio asked.

"To find master!" A.S.H.T.O.N. said as he and Omega flew out of the room and through the ceiling of the temple, leaving only the seven remaining group members standing in the large room.

"Should we go after them?" Rouge asked.

"No, if they want they're going to be like that, let them go" Espio said.

"But they can-a help us!" Luigi said.

"Forget them, let's just find the stones and go" Tak said as he walked down the room, the other members took a look at the ceiling and followed Tak out of the room.

"I still-a think we should-a get their help" Luigi said as he walked behind Mario, the group shortly entered another hallway where strange symbols covered the walls.

"Hey Tak, you're an expert on your culture, what do these symbols say?" Espio asked as he looked at one of the symbols, Tak walked over to his side and looked at the symbols for five minutes.

"They say that the temple was triggered with booby-traps hundreds of years ago to prevent anyone from entering the sacred… Temple burials" Tak said, shivering at the last part.

"Oh-a great! We're all in-a place where dead-a people are!" Luigi said as he covered his head with his hat and shivered with fear.

"Booby-traps or not, we need to find those-a stones-a!" Mario said as he continued down the hall.

"Mario, wait! There's a-" Tak was cut off when the sound of splash was heard and everyone ran to see where the splashing was heard and saw Mario in what appeared to be white matter "pool of bat guano".

"What's guano?" Luigi asked.

"Bat poop" Espio said and Luigi suddenly busted out laughing while Mario growled.

"Just help-a me out of this-a stuff" Mario said as he raised his arms and Espio and Rouge grabbed him and lifted back onto the solid rock floors.

"Now what do we do?" Rouge asked.

"I'm thinking, give me a minute" Tak said as he scratched his chin and began to think up a plan when he suddenly snapped his fingers "I know, Rouge can fly us across!"

"I'm not flying over that stuff, it stinks!" Rouge said as she pinched her nose.

"She's right!" Luigi said as he pinched his nose.

"Okay, time for plan B" Tak said as he walked behind the group and raised his staff in the air.

"What's plan B?" Mario asked.

"This!" Tak said as he whacked everyone across the pool of guano and onto the other side, Tak then created a cloud of dust with his staff and floated on across the pool before landing safely on the other side.

"Couldn't you have created dust clouds for us too?" Rouge asked.

"Eh, this seemed better" Tak said, Ghoulia made a low moan and pointed in the front direction of everyone to show five or six egg-pawns walking at them with blasters in their hands.

"Destroy the enemies!" one of the pawns said as they charged at the group, Tak used his staff to deliver a powerful whack to the head of the egg pawn, Espio and one of the pawns faced each other with the egg pawn charging straight at him, Espio quickly jumped out of the way and pulled out two of his ninja stars and threw them at the back of the robot, short circuiting it on impact and he did a spin dash at it. Mario and Luigi and two of the pawns ran at each other and the Mario Bros. Jumped into the air and kicked the robots in the face and the heads came off cleanly before the bodies of the egg pawns exploded, Ghoulia was running from the other two until Rouge grabbed her and covered her wings over her, she then spin into a tight ball with Ghoulia and did a spin dash at the two egg pawns. Destroying them in an instant, Rouge and Ghoulia then landed on the ground and sighed with relief, Ghoulia gave a low moan and a smile at the bat.

"Um… You're welcome?"

"Well that was easy" Tak said.

"I don't know, it's never this easy" Rouge said as she walked on with the group, it wasn't until the group ran into a darkened room with no visible light.

"It's too dark, can someone turn on a light?" Tak asked.

"I-a got it!" Luigi said as he lit a torch and lit the other ones around the room before walking back over to the group "got them-a all!" no one said anything, they all were wide eyed and opened mouth as they stared at something, Luigi became confused and waved his hand at Mario's face "hello? Mario?"

"Luigi… Don't turn forward…" Espio said, Luigi ignored him and looked forward and gave a shrill scream, standing in front of the group were hundreds of egg pawns, each with a large sword and armor on them.

Meanwhile…

In the deep neck of the woods, a bright light emerged from its darkness and disappeared a second later with Julius, Howleen, Twyla, Bloodgood and Pandy the Panda, Julius took a look around at the surroundings and crossed his arms.

"Well that was easy" Julius said.

"My word that was truly a bright experience" Bloodgood said as she patted her forehead with a tissue.

"Wha…What was that?" Twyla asked as she clutched Pandy to her chest with fear gripping her.

"Master control, it's one of my abilities" Julius said "I can warp space and time with just a chaos stone".

"Yeah, so you should use that chaos stone to warp us to the others before something happens to us!" Howleen said.

"And why should I?" Julius asked "why should I risk my life for the unimportance of others who don't even know what they're going up against".

"Because they can help us save the universe! Duh!" Howleen said.

"Oh, well let me put it into a nice simple way and say…." Julius started before slapping her in the face "FORGET IT!"

"Howleen!" Twyla gasped, Howleen felt the burning mark on her face and grew furious at the alien and faced him with an angered expression on her face.

"What the heck is wrong with you!?" Howleen growled at him "why can't you understand that everyone we've met and know is trying their best".

"Their best? HA! They're all just putting on a show" Julius said.

"Okay, that's it! I've had it up to here with your attitude and you're overinflated ego!" Howleen said "you should realize that the others that are trying to save the universe are out there right now and fighting evil to ensure a better tomorrow!"

"Whoa…" Twyla said, surprised at her friend's behavior.

"Do they even know what kind of evil they're fighting? No, they don't" Julius said "that's what makes people like you and I focus on one single goal, getting what we need and getting the job done".

"Yeah sure, just ditch everything and everyone else for the chaos stones" Howleen said with a cold stare and crossed her arms "imagine if this happened 60 years ago, you would've ditched Nierra for the stones too" Julius was speechless, one of new allies had turned against him by saying those said words, anger and rage bottled inside of him and he growled at her and green electric energy surrounded him while he faced her and the others.

"Damn you Howleen! She has nothing to do with this! I do not need you bringing me back to a situation I am trying to deal with! Now you will drop the situation here and now! Or I'll blast you frigging head off!" Julius roared at her but Howleen sighed sadly and shook her head.

"Man, when I first met you, you seemed like a guy who looked like that needed someone to understand him" Howleen said "I've been down that road Julius, never knowing what it was like to be seen as someone who cares only for themselves" Julius started to grow more enraged and created a green energy orb in his hands "when you first decided to fight in this battle, I knew it was for those you loved and care about, like Nierra".

"Don't… Push…Me…Any…Further! I will not hesitate to destroy you too!" Julius growled.

"I'm fighting for the same reason too, for the people I love" Howleen said "for Clawdeen, Clawd, Twyla and Romulus" Twyla gave a small smile "but since you started helping us, all you cared about is finding the stones and doing what you want to do! Between you and me, I have more of a reason to become angry at the people who are doing harm to others, I want to understand Julius, what happened with Nierra that made you this way?" Julius looked at her for a few more moments with his face full of rage until he broke his look and felt his mind go back to the day he had lost everything…

Julius was kneeling before a dying 13-year old girl in a spaceship, the girl was laying in a puddle of blood from some unknown attack, Julius wept over her as she turned her head to him.

"Julius…." The girl said in a dying voice….

Julius sighed sadly and the green energy disappeared from around him, he crossed his arms and shook his head.

"Very well, I won't object to your desires to save the universe and helping your friends" Julius said as he reached into his pocket and tossed his chaos stone at her, Howleen caught it in midair and looked at Julius with a confused look "go, hurry! You all don't have much time!"

"What? What about you?" Howleen asked.

"This is where we part ways werewolf, we're only to be getting in each other's way if this continues" Julius said.

"No! Like it or not Julius, we're still a team! We need to back each other up!" Howleen said.

"I'm sorry, but I'm only going to be making matters worst if I continue to go along with you" Julius said "this is only a problem you and your friends can fix, I am lone wolf Howleen, and I will continue to be one for the rest of my days" Howleen's lip started to tremble and her eyes tear up a bit while Julius faced away from her "good luck with all your future endeavors, farewell" in a bright flash of light, Julius disappeared from view.

"No! Julius! Come back!" Howleen said, there was no answer, the young werewolf got down on her knees and closed her eyes in sadness, Twyla walked over to her and sat down next to her.

"Howleen, we need to go" Twyla said "he's done all he could for us, and now we have to carry on without him being there" Howleen spoke nothing to her, she was silent for minutes as she hoped for Julius to come back.

"….Fine…." she breathed out as she and Twyla got up, Howleen looked at the chaos stone in her hands and then at Twyla and smiled.

"So what is that thing?" Twyla asked.

"It's called a chaos stone, and it's going to help" Howleen said "we're going to go find the others, I know how to get to them".

"How?" Twyla asked.

"Watch" Howleen said as she lifted the stone in the air and closed her eyes "Master….Control!" a bright light engulfed the four in the woods and disappeared a second later with them gone from view, they were going to find the others.

Meanwhile…

Espio and Tak were the first of the group to deliver swift punches to a group of egg pawns while the army of robots swarmed at them when Rouge and Ghoulia did a spin dash at a line of the egg pawns, Espio jumped into the air became a spinning ball while Tak used his staff to hit him towards a charging egg pawn three times before delivering a powerful hit with his staff to send Espio flying at a group of the egg pawns, destroying them with ease. Mario and Luigi grabbed fire flowers from their pockets and absorbed them to transform into their fire forms, a group of the egg pawns charged at them when they started to shoot fireballs at the robots, sending them all into a burning demise, Mario created another fireball while Luigi grabbed his mallet, Mario threw the fireball into the air and Luigi hit it into an oncoming egg pawn, Rouge was in the air as she carried Ghoulia by the arms. The young zombie teen signaled her to release her and Rouge did as so, once released, Ghoulia started to spin with the sharp end of her heel aimed at an egg pawn, Rouge followed her and both destroyed two of the hundreds of egg pawns, Mario and Luigi and Espio jumped into the air and all three preformed a spin dash that destroyed a larger group of the robots, Tak aimed his staff at a few of them and shot purple matter from it that destroyed the robots.

"Yeah baby! We're are on fire!" Tak said.

"Oh no!" Luigi gasped as more of the egg pawns started to swarm in, the group suddenly went back to back as they were cornered by the swarming egg pawns.

"Get ready boys! There is going to be a beat down!" Rouge said as the robots swarmed towards them, the group got ready for the attack and…

"Destroy!" Omega bellowed as he and A.S.H.T.O.N. charged at the egg pawns with bullets and missiles being launched from their cannons and arm blasters, chunks of metal and pieces were blown to bits as the two robots fired and destroyed the swarming robots in a matter of mere minutes, the group watched as the two tore egg pawns apart and shoot at the egg pawns as they turned them into scrap metal, after a few minutes, the entire army of robots was destroyed and piles of metal laid around the room. The group stared wide eyed at the two robots before Tak broke the silence.

"That was awesome!" Tak said.

"What are you two doing back here? We thought you both left" Espio said.

"We couldn't track Julius, his signal is elsewhere and we were unable to find him" Omega said "when we heard the battle and rushed to your aid".

"Well, thanks" Rouge said as she walked up to him "but we can handle the rest from here".

"Hey guys! Look at what I found!" Tak said as he held up a blue stone in the palm of his hand "it's one of the chaos stones!"

"Oh yeah!" Mario said as he gave Tak a thumbs up "Yahoo! Wonderful!"

"Thanks dude, let's go find the other chaos stone!" Tak said as he ran into another hallway with the group following him, as they trekked into the dusty and skeleton filled hallway, Luigi couldn't help but feel a slight chill up his back.

"Is anyone else-a cold-a?" he asked.

"Not really" Mario said.

"Well, I'm-a cold!" Luigi said as he felt the cold chill become much fiercer until his whole body went cold and he began to shiver, he suddenly felt a light hand touch his shoulder and he shot up into air, screaming along the way until he fell back down to the ground.

"Luigi!" Mario said.

"There's a ghost in here!" Luigi screamed as he clung to Mario for dear life.

"I'm not a ghost" a gentle voice said, Luigi looked to see a teenage girl that was completely light blue with greenish blue hair and purple clothing "I'm a boogey monster".

"That's even worst!" Luigi shouted.

"Luigi! Relax!" familiar voice said, everyone turned around (Except Luigi, who was still too scared to look) to see Howleen stand next to the girl her age.

"Howleen!" Rouge said.

"What are you doing here? Why aren't you with the others in Wily-O-Polis?" Espio asked.

"And who is she?" Tak asked as she pointed to the girl next to Howleen.

"This is Twyla, my best friend" Howleen said "me and Julius were with the others until he walked away and I followed him, we later ran into Twyla and her friend Pandy".

"Hey, where is-" Mario was about to speak when Howleen pressed her finger to his lips.

"Don't mention his name" she growled, Mario nodded and her finger retreated from his lips.

"Well are we going to find the last stone or not? We don't have all day!" Rouge said, Ghoulia gave out a low moan and pointed to the end of the hallway to show an opened doorway with light shinning down in it.

"Good eye Ghoulia!" Espio said as the group began to run down the hallway when suddenly, a giant axe cut through an opened way and nearly cut Tak in half, if he hadn't stopped in time.

"Whoa! Where did that come from?" he asked.

"It's another one of those booby traps" Rouge said.

"Should we be alarmed?" Twyla asked.

"Yes we should" Mario said as he jumped into the air with Luigi still clung to him and jumped through the swinging axe and landed safely on the ground "Ta Da!"

"Waste of time" Omega said as he blasted the axe, destroying it into pieces and walked across the pieces with the rest of the group behind him, Mari stuck out his tongue at him and followed everyone into the room, inside it was nothing more empty space and webs all over.

"So is the stone in here?" Twyla asked.

"Negative, this is a room where this ground would open up and swallow the people standing on it's platform down to a painful death of spikes at the bottom" Omega said, scaring everyone "however, we all are not the precise weight for the floor to open".

"How much do we have to weigh?" Tak asked.

"1300 pounds" Omega said.

"Oh, that takes a load off my shoulders!" Rouge said as she wiped her forehead with her arm before turning to see a snickering Mario and Luigi "if you two make fun of my weight, you are so dead!"

"Sorry!" Luigi said before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a feather and handed it to Mario, the red plumber plucked the feather from his fingers and absorbed it and a second later, a cape had somehow wrapped itself around his neck in a puff of smoke.

"So what's with the cape?" Howleen asked.

"Me and-a Rouge can fly-a us all-a up-a the room!" Mario said as he pointed above the ceiling to show the opening with light streaming out of it "if that's an exit-a, then we can-a get to the-a stone!"

"Great idea Mario!" Tak said, Mario nodded and grabbed Luigi by his arm while Howleen and Twyla walked over to him and grabbed his other arm and he flew up, Rouge grabbed Ghoulia by the hands and followed Mario while Espio and Tak jumped from wall to wall to enter the opening and Omega and A.S.H.T.O.N. flew up into the opening too.

"Organic life forms, we should be cautious of this route" Omega said "from my records, I have detected that there is a booby trap in this section of the temple we are traveling".

"We already went through darts in the walls, bat guano and a cy-bot army" Tak said "what else can this temple throw at us?"

"SNAKES!" Luigi screamed.

"Snakes?" Espio asked as he turned his head to see a snake slithering down Luigi's head and entering his suspender jeans, making him jerk back and forth to get the snake out.

"There's more!" Rouge said as dozens of snakes fell from the sky and landed on the group, there were many screams and shouts as the snakes slithered and fell to the ground below them as they traveled upwards.

"What kind of idiots put snakes as booby traps?!" Howleen screeched.

"Ones who don't want people in their temple" Twyla said as she brushed a snake off her skirt, suddenly, the group entered through a clear opening on top of the temple and landed onto the temple roof as they brushed the last of snakes off of themselves.

"I hate snakes!" Luigi said.

"You-a hate everything that-a scares you" Mario said.

"It's true" Luigi said as he hung his head in shame.

"Guys, look!" Espio said as he pointed in front of everyone, the group looked in his pointed direction to see a blue stone resting on a moss covered rock.

"The last chaos stone!" Tak said "I got it!"

"Organic Tak, wait!" Omega said but the shaman in training ignore him and ran up to the stone, only to be greeted by a swift punch in the face and he fell backwards.

"Oh no!" Luigi said "mamma Mia!"

"Tak, are you okay?" Mario asked.

"I'm fine" Tak said as he got up and wiped the blood from his lip "but whoever hit me won't be when I'm done with him or her!"

"Foolish boy, you dare go against the mighty Vilgax?!" a booming voice roared, the group looked up to see a tentacle face alien with armor float down to the ground with Icy, Darcy and Stormy behind him "because if you are, you have written your fate!"

"Uh… Did I say…."

"Yes, yes you did" Espio said as he grabbed two ninja stars from behind his back and threw them at Vilgax but the galactic overlord grabbed his sword and moved it rapidly at the two ninja stars and jumped up into the air, he suddenly aimed right at the purple chameleon as he fell back down but Espio jumped into the air and did a spin dash at the alien, Espio ended the spin dash and kicked Vilgax in the chest when Vilgax suddenly grabbed the chameleon by the leg and threw him down to the temple ceiling hard enough to create a light crater in his quake.

"Espio!" Rouge gasped.

"Let's-a go!" Mario said as he grabbed his mallet and jumped at Vilgax and delivered a powerful whack to his chest, Mario did a fro t flip and kicked him in the face and punched him in the gut until the two fell back to the temple roof where they both delivered multiple punches and kicks to each other.

"Come on, let's give him a hand!" Tak said as he ran at the two when Stormy shot lighting bolts at him, sending a dangerous shock of electricity into his system but he ignored the pain as his staff had used its magic to clasp an orange substance over his body, Tak then jumped at Stormy and whacked her in the face with his staff and did a triple foot kick in her face, sending crashing to floor while Darcy went straight at Rouge and Ghoulia, Rouge and Ghoulia grabbed each other by the arms and curled up into a ball and did a double spin dash at her in the gut and she fell right onto the ground where Omega grabbed her by the face and began to beat her up violently.

"Hang on Darcy! I'll save you!" Stormy said as she got up and watched the carnage taking place, she created a ball of stormy energy in her hands and shot it right at Omega, a wave of thunder clouds washed over him and threw him into the air when he suddenly regained his balance and aimed his arm blaster at her.

"DESTROY!" he bellowed as he fired thousands of bullets at the witch, Darcy gave a wild scream as she ran around to escape her fate while Icy faced off against a terrified Luigi cowering with his hat over his face.

"This should be easy" Icy said to herself as she formed a ball of ice in her hands.

"Oh no! Luigi!" Howleen gasped, Twyla took notice of the coming attack and lunged at Icy.

"Get away from my friends!" Twyla shouted, Icy looked to see her but by that time, Twyla was now giving multiple kicks to her face with the witch walking back as the kicks kept on coming.

"Twyla! Where did you learn to fight?" Howleen asked, surprised at her best friends attack.

"Long story!" Twyla said as she delivered a final blow to Icy's head, knocking her out completely as she fell to the ground while Twyla grabbed her by the legs and threw her off the temple and brushed her hands with a smile.

"Twyla that was clawsome!" Howleen said.

"Guys! A little help-a please?" Mario said as he grew tired from giving multiple hits and kicks to Vilgax but the galactic overlord was barely even breaking a sweat.

"Tired old man?" Vilgax said.

"Hey tentacles! Leave him alone!" Tak said as he, Espio, Luigi and A.S.H.T.O.N. kicked him the back, sending him flying go the ground while the chaos stone flew out of his grasp and into Howleen's.

"Thank you very much!" Mario said as he readied his mallet and whacked Vilgax straight into the air, sending him flying across the jungle.

"Alright! We did it!" Tak said "we have the last two chaos stones!"

"And I'm pretty sure the others have the other stones and the chaos emeralds!" Howleen said.

"Call them up, we're going to need them here" Espio said.

"That won't be necessary" a voice said from behind them, the group turned around to see a hooded figure on a floating platform with Bloodgood and Pandy tied up in rope next to her.

"Bloodgood!" Howleen gasped "Pandy!"

"Hey, who are you?" Tak asked.

"That isn't important right now, what is important is my soon to be victory!" the hooded figure said.

"Victory? What victory?" Espio asked, before the figure could answer, the chameleon fell to the ground with a tranquilizer dart sticking in his back, everyone gasped but all soon felt slight shots into their backs before falling down to the ground with the same darts in their backs or necks, Omega and A.S.H.T.O.N. looked up to see the woman pulling out a blaster from her back and aiming it at them.

"You two won't be going anywhere either" she said as she shot them, powerful electrical surges coursed through their systems and fell down on the roof limp, the hooded figure placed the blaster back behind her back as a group of robots grabbed the heroes and walked them to the floating airship next to the temple, the figure smiled to herself and laughed evilly "finally! I have all the heroes!"
