Kurt's eyes are slipping closed, and when he realizes it they're already fully shut; he quickly opens them and takes a sip from his tea to wake up, setting it back on the nightstand so it doesn't spill on his phone that he's clutching.
Unfortunately, the warm tea only makes him even sleepier, and when he notices he's half asleep it's because his phone buzzing wakes him up.

The next message makes him startle awake.

He gives in, closing his eyes and letting his hands drop to his chest, promising himself he'll wake up when his phone buzzes again; of course, he sleeps through ten more buzzes of various goodnight wishes.
When he'll wake up in the morning he'll find that he accidentally sent Blaine a video message of his ceiling and his snoring in the background, but at the moment he's soundly asleep, dreaming of a curly-haired man in a bowtie, while that same man is staring at their picture on his phone longingly.
