Waited So Long For You
So much waiting.
Six months of it.
Then, it's worse, because just when the waiting is supposed to be over there is more and more of it, stretching out, unending.
First, Blaine waits for the plane. It takes a long while and he sits and talks to Kurt on Skype until boarding begins.
He gets on the plane, and waits for departure to begin. It takes even longer and he's squished between two women with too much perfume, but he texts Kurt until he has to turn off all electric devices.
He waits for countless hours in his small seat in economy class. It feels so long he doesn't believe he'll ever get to see Kurt again.
He waits for landing to be over. It's so long and he wonders if it's taking so long because they're about to crash and he won't get to see Kurt again after all.
He waits for the doors to open. It feels like forever, so long, he's been waiting for so long…
He waits for his luggage, and it's stupid because he didn't even have that much with him and he could've carried it all in his backpack-
And suddenly there are arms wrapped around him and he doesn't have to wait anymore, because Kurt is there and kissing him and he doesn't care about luggage or about how long he waited, he kisses Kurt until his lips go numb, and he's home.
