'You want… What?' I asked in disbelieve.

'A reassignment, yes' Eddie said.

'Why?'

'Lissa should come first in an attack, but when I'll have to chose between her and Mia, I don't know if Lissa will come first. I want Lissa to be safe of course, but this fight, I fought more for Mia than for her' he said.

I thought it was cute, he being totally in love, and I totally understood him, but I needed to be honest.

'Uhm Eddie… I'm going to be honest…' I didn't really know how to say this. I wasn't good with this kind of talk.

'I understand you and I think Lissa will understand too. I think she'll give you the reassignment if you ask for it.' I started.

Eddie looked so happy when I said this. 'But, I'm afraid others won't understand' I finished.

'But…' His smile faded once I finished my sentence.

'Don't get me wrong. I don't think you can't do it. I just want to warn you of what others will think.'

'You're right… I don't know it anymore…' he said sadly.

'Hey, I'm not saying you don't need to go for it, nor am I saying you must. Just think about what I said, okay?' I asked.

'I'll do, thank you' he said.

I smiled at him. 'Hey, I need to go back now' I said.

'yes, thank you so much' he said.

I walked back to my seat and saw Dimitri fell asleep.

'I'm back' I whispered as soft as I could. I placed a little kiss on his cheek and just watched Dimitri sleeping. After a while we arrived at Court.

'Comrade, wake up' I whispered, but he didn't wake up.

'Dimitri, wake up' I said a little louder. Finally he woke up.

'We're back at Court' I said softly.

'How long have I been asleep?' he asked.

'Practically the whole flight' I answered.

'I should have stayed awake…' he said.

'you were tired.'

'A Dhampir can live without much sleep' he complained.

'How many times did I fell asleep after a while? Did you blame me?' I asked him. He was so strict to himself.

'No, but…'

I interrupted him. 'This is the same. Come, we need to go. Don't blame yourself.' I said.

'Okay. Maybe you're right' he admitted.

We walked to Court. Dimitri and I decided to train a bit, although we had the rest of the day off. We trained a little at the academy, in 'our' gym, but we needed to train more. We started running'Dimitri running a little slower than usual, me running a little faster. After the running we did some excersising and finally some fighting. I was exhausted at the end of the day. I fell asleep once my body touched the bed.

I was lost somewhere. The people I saw were talking in a language I didn't speak. I didn't recognize the words on the shop either.

I heard screaming behind me. I immediately felt sick. I turned around and saw him. Finally someone I knew.

'Dimitri!' I yelled. He must've been searching for me. Everything would be alright now.

His red eyes looked towards me. 'Roza' he said with a creepy voice.

Red eyes, pale skin, creepy voice… Something was wrong.

'Dimitri…' I said.

It finally hit me. Dimitri was a Strigoi. I needed to kill him, I needed to… That's what I was taught to do.

'Roza, come with me' he said, whit a raspy voice.

'No! Never, I should kill you' I yelled.

'Roza, come with me. I won't hurt you' he said.

I slowly walked towards him, grabbing my stake. I tried to attack him, but he knew mee too wel. He knew what I was going to do, even when I used some moves he haven't taught me. Soon I wasn't attacking anymore, I only could defend. Dimitri always was strong and quick as a Dhampir. Since he was a Strigoi he was even stronger and quicker.

'Roza, you can't win' he said.

'I will' I groaned.

We still were fighting. Somehow I thought he wouldn't hurt me, somewhere I thought this was just another practice fight, but I also knew this was for real.

'Rose!' a familiar voice yelled.

'Rose, stop!' she yelled.

'Stay away Liss!' I yelled back. I didn't want to endanger Lissa. Knowing that she was here gave me energy. I escaped from Dimitri, faked I was going to attack him and staked him a second later. Knowing I hit his heart I sank down, next to him.

'Rose, you should have listened! There was a cure for him' Lissa said.

'No!' I yelled.

'Rose… Rose!' someone said. Someone was trying to comfort me, but it was useless. I killed Dimitri, the love of my life.

'Rose… Roza…' the voice said again.

Wait… Roza? But I killed him.

I opened my eyes and saw Dimitri.

'Roza, are you okay?' he asked worried.

'Yes, it's nothing' I said.

'Rose, I heard you screaming…' he said.

'There's nothing, comrade' I tried. I didn't want him to know…

'You know I can tell when you're lying. You don't have to hide for me. I know you still have nightmares. I just wanted to know if you trusted me enough to tell me. Well, it's obvious you don't trust me' he said.

I couldn't look at his broken expression. Especially not when I caused it.

'I do trust you' was my weak defense.

'Then why didn't you tell me?' he sounded so disappointed.

I hated it when he was disappointed. I rather wanted him angry, but he always was his calm self, even when someone drove him crazy, he didn't lose patience. Tears started to well up. I closed my eyes, trying to fight against the tears. Once I trusted my voice enough I answered him.

'I didn't wan to hurt you. I knew you would feel guilty if you knew and I was afraid…' I whispered.

'You think I feel better if you just lie to me? The feelings of guilt are nothing compared this!' he asked. After that he walked away, slamming the doors.

author's note: I'm gonna change the title of this book next week. It'll be called no more just so you know :)
