Summer has arrived for me! So that means more frequent updates and good stuff like that.
But this summer still might be busier than last since my sister and her kids are here and I help with them, and I might be going to Virginia with her and I'm working out this summer to get sexy...er.
As always enjoy~
Tris POV
"He wants me to have dinner with his family, because his grandmother is coming from Sicily," I say to Christina as she picks out an outfit for her date with Will later. I lean over just in time as a stiletto flies by my head into the wall.
"Damn watch where you throw things, you almost hit me in the face," I say.
"You'll live," she says as she looks at a shirt for a second and then frustratedly throws it away,"but anyway that's great, he wants you to meet his grandma,"
"Yeah but I'm nervous about it, he really loves his grandmother, and what if she's a mean old lady that judges me by the way I chew or something," I say letting my anxiety show. She rolls her eyes.
"You're being irrational," She says as she picks up a purple low cut, short dress," what about this with my nude heels?," she ask me.
"Unless he's taking you to a strip club, no," I shake my head and she sighs going back to searching, "but help me about this dinner thing,"
"Help me with this date thing! I have only a few hours to pick an outfit, shave, you curl my hair, do my make up, get dressed and not have Will downstairs waiting for me!," she retorts. I huff.
"Just wear the flowy white shirt, with the black leather jeans, the pink heels, and top it off with the snake skin clutch," I say in a 'duh' tone. She thinks about it for a second before a grin appears on her face.
"Beatrice Elizabeth you are a genius," she shouts before she throws the clothes on the bed, and runs into the bathroom.
"My name is Tris," I sigh as I go into the bathroom to find her already in the shower. I dig around in her drawers for her curling iron, brush, and clips. I start heating up the curling iron and make conversation with her while she spends two eternities in the shower.
"Can you come on, I could have cooked a ten course meal in the time you're in the shower," I complain stomping my foot.
"I'm shaving!," she yells over the water.
"You're not bigfoot! It shouldn't take you that long to shave!," I yell back. I wait for a few more minutes and yell again.
"I'm going to flush the toilet if you don't get out now I need to do your hair!," I say. I hear a dramatic sigh from the shower and water stopping. Her hand pokes out and grabs her towel before exiting the shower.
"I'm out now, happy," she says as she sits on the stool under the sink and takes off her shower cap letting her hair out.
I take the next fourty minutes brushing, combing, and curling her hair. I brush out the curls a bit to make them looser.
"There you go," I murmur turning off the curling iron. She thanks me and starts putting on her make up. Applying foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadows and other stuff she tried to show me how to use at one point, but I never found any interest in using.
Eventually she is dressed and made up to perfection.
"How do I look she asks as she looks at herself in the floor length mirror.
"Great," I say honestly, "Hey we never finished talking about this grandma visit dinner thing,"
"We'll all you need to do is just relax, go to the dinner, have a good time, and everything will be fine," she says and I huff.
The doorbell rings soon after and she squeals and smooths her shirt.
"I better get down there before my dad finds a reason to shoot Will," she rushes out the room while I chuckle. I follow her down the stairs to the living room where Chris is dragging Will out the door away from her family.
I wave goodbye to Christina's family and her little sister screams bye from her position on top of the back of the couch.
I chuckle and make my way to my car and leave.
PAGE BREAK~
I stand at the door of Tobias' home rocking back and fourth on my dark plum heels I borrowed from my cousin. Tobias' mom answers the door.
"Tris hello, come in, come in the food is almost ready," she tugs me in the house excitedly.
Well here goes nothing
A/N: So what's Grandma going to think of Tris.
