I am so sorry for the wait. It's just that I've been so busy with school. Not only that but my computer decided not to work for a couple of days.
Anyways, enough of my problems. On with the chapter!

Chapter 4: Clubs and Confrontations
Gray got into his car and slammed the door. He punched the steering wheel.
''Damn it!'' he shouted. He couldn't believe this. Juvia was already moving on. His eyes started to sting. He was hurt and angry. He was hurt that Juvia was moving on and he was angry that she was moving on with Lyon. He hadn't seen the guy in three years. Not since Ur had died. Last time he remembered, Lyon was going out with some girl named Sherry. And now he was moving on with his woman! Well, that was going to stop. Gray was not going to put up with this. He will talk to Lyon. But right now he had to get to work.
If Lyon thought that he was going to take Juvia away from him, then he had another thing coming!
OoOoOoOOoOooOoOoOOoOoOoOOo
After the whole thing with Gray, Juvia got into her car and drove to work. She was upset. She was upset that Gray thought that she was dating Lyon. How could he think that she could move on so quickly? After a year of dating? She was even ready to move in with him. She loved Gray. She still does. And that doesn't go away overnight. And she was mad at Lyon for telling Gray what she had told him. But deep down, she knew that she couldn't be angry at Lyon. He did nothing wrong. It was Gray that was acting like a fool, not him. But Juvia didn't want to think about what happened. If she did then she will start to get angry again and she didn't want bring that negativity to work. She was a professional.
It took her about half an hour to reach the animal hospital. When she walked in, Merudy was on her in a second.
''So? How was your coffee date with Lyon?'' she asked, giving Juvia a wink. Juvia shrugged her arm away from Merudy's grasp.
''It wasn't a date. And if Merudy really wants to know, then it went terribly.''
''What?'' Merudy said, her eyes widening in shock. Juvia sighed.
''Gray-sama showed up. He accused Juvia of dating Lyon and then he stormed out without letting Juvia explain. And Lyon didn't help much either. In fact, Juvia thinks he made it worse. Anyways, that's all that happened. Now, if we're done talking about it then Juvia would like to start working.'' Without waiting for a response, Juvia turned and started walking to her office. Merudy followed her.
''That couldn't have been all that happened. What else happened?'' Merudy asked. Juvia turned to face her.
''Well, it seems like Gray-sama and Lyon know each other. But other than that, nothing else happened.''
''How do they know each other?'' Merudy questioned.
''Juvia doesn't know. She left before she could ask Lyon-san.'' Juvia replied. Merudy frowned.
''Well-''
''Merudy. That's enough. Juvia doesn't want to talk about it anymore.'' Juvia said firmly. She wasn't in the mood for all the questions. Merudy nodded.
''Okay.'' she mumbled and walked out of Juvia's office. Juvia closed her office door and started working.

Gray was sitting in his office, checking the sales for his business. Sales were dropping lately. Not by a lot, but it still wasn't a good thing. Gray sighed. He couldn't focus on work right now. So he shut his computer and walked out of his office. His secretary looked at him.
''Is there a problem?'' she asked.
''I'm taking a break. I'll be back in a hour.'' Gray said before walking out of the building. His secretary frowned.
''Who does he think he is? Leaving out of the blue like that. And then I get stuck with all the work.'' she whispered bitterly. But she wouldn't dare say that to Gray's face.
He's the one that gives her a paycheck, after all.
OoOoOOoOOoOooOoOooOoOoO
Lyon was in his office, checking the medical file of his new patient, when he heard a knock on his door.
''Come in.''
The door opened and Gray walked in with Lyon's receptionist.
''I'm sorry Dr. Vastia. He just came out of nowhere and said that he needed to speak to you. '' Lyon forced a smile.
''It's alright Jane. I don't mind. You can leave now. Thank you.'' Jane didn't need to be told twice. She left, leaving the two males alone. They stared at each other for a long time. Lyon's face was carefully blank and Gray was glaring. Lyon was the first to speak.
'' What do you want Gray? I don't have time to deal with your nonsense.''
''I want you to stay away from Juvia.'' Gray said. Lyon was quiet for a moment. Then he started to laugh. Gray frowned.
''What is so funny?'' Gray growled, his fists clenching at his sides. Lyon smiled.
''Stay away from Juvia? No way.'' Gray glared.
''What?''
''I'm not going to stay away from Juvia just because you said so. What kind of man would I be then? Juvia is my friend. And if you think that you can force me to stay away from her then you have another thing coming. Now is that all? Because I have work to do.'' Gray's frown deepened.
''Juvia is my girlfriend. And I don't like the idea of you trying to take her from me.'' Lyon chuckled.
''I wasn't trying to take her from you Gray. Juvia and I are just friends. I don't know how many times I have to say it for you to understand. And another thing, so what if Juvia is your girlfriend? That has nothing to do with me. Juvia and I are friends and we like hanging out with each other. Is that a problem for you?''
''Yes!'' Gray said vehemently. He did not like the idea of Juvia hanging out with Lyon.
''Besides'' he started,'' I thought that you already had a girlfriend. What happened with that girl, Sherry?'' Gray asked. Lyon's smile faltered, being replaced with a frown.
''Sherry and I broke up. It has been a while since I've seen her, to be truthful. But I don't see what Sherry has to do with this conversation.'' Gray shrugged.
''To be honest, I really don't care about that girl. The only thing I care about is Juvia. And I want you to stay away from her. I know you, Lyon. You are a pervert and a player and I know that all you care about is getting girls. But let me tell you one thing. If you think that I will let you openly flirt with my girlfriend then you have another thing coming. Because if I catch you with Juvia again, you'll regret it.''
''Is that a threat? You should know better than anyone Gray, that I don't like being threated. I don't know who you think you are, coming into my workplace, and telling me to stay away from Juvia just because your jealous. You haven't changed a bit, have you Gray? You are just like a child. An immature, arrogant child who thinks that he is so great. Grow up Gray. Your childish antics is going to get you nowhere. Now if that's all, then please leave my office. I have a lot of work to do and as I said before, I don't have time for your nonsense. You know the way out.''
Gray's face burned with rage. He opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it. Without another word, he stormed out of Lyon's office. Lyon sighed.
''You haven't changed a bit, even after all these years. Just like a child'' he whispered before getting back to his work.
oOoOoOoOooOoOoOOoOoOoOoOOoOo
After leaving Lyon's office, Gray got into his car and drove back to work. His secretary saw the scowl on his face, but she didn't say anything. She could tell that Gray was in a bad mood and she didn't want to provoke him any further. Gray walked into his office and shut the door. He was so pissed right now.
''That bastard Lyon. Who does he think he is? Calling me a child.'' Gray muttered, sitting down on his desk chair. He had every right to be angry. Well, at least he thought he did. First he catches Lyon flirting with his girlfriend, and then Lyon has the gall to call him a child. Him? A child? No way. Lyon was more immature than him. Sure threating him probably wasn't the smartest thing, but then again he didn't always think with his head. He heard a knock on his door.
''What?'' The door opened and one of Gray's newest employees walked in. She was a girl of average height with flowing blonde hair and striking blue eyes. From what Gray read about her, she was a confident and prideful person. And Gray could see that from the way she dressed. She was wearing a short, black dress and strappy black heels. The dress was tight and showed off what a great body this girl had. It also showed off her cleavage, making hard for Gray to only look at her face. This girl was hot, in Gray's opinion.
''What is it?'' he asked. The girl smiled seductively and slowly walked up to Gray's desk. Gray tried really hard not to stare at her very long legs. She set a stack of papers on his desk.
''These are the papers you requested, Mr. Fullbuster.'' Her voice was low and suductive as she talked. Gray almost didn't hear her because he was trying so hard to only look at her face. Gray nodded.
''Thank you. Your name's Becca, right?'' Gray always made it a point to know the names of all his employees. That way, he could have a somewhat good relationship with them.
''Yes, it is. I'm glad that you remembered. Most bosses don't even bother trying to learn the names of their employees.'' Gray smiled.
''It is very important to me to know the names of my employees.'' Becca smiled, showing off her pearly white teeth.
''Anyways, how is everything for you? You doing okay?'' Becca nodded.
''Yes, everything is fine. I'm just glad that you gave me this job.'' Becca leaned in and Gray got a close look at her chest.
'' I hope that I can have a very close relationship with you, Mr. Fullbuster.'' Becca smiled again. Gray nodded again, unable to speak. Finally he opened his mouth.
''Yeah.'' he said, his mouth suddenly felt dry. Becca leaned back and Gray felt that he could finally breathe properly.
''Well, I should get back to work. Have a good day, Mr. Fullbuster.'' she said before turning around and leaving. Gray sighed.
This was going to be a long day.
oOoOoOoOOoOoOoOOoOoOoO
Juvia sighed. She had a very difficult time focusing on her work. Her mind kept going back to this morning and the whole thing with Gray. She needed a break. Too bad she doesn't get off until five. So she held out, until it was time to leave. As she was getting ready, she heard a knock on her door.
''Juvia?'' Merudy's voice could be heard through the office door.
''What is it Merudy?'' Juvia asked. Merudy opened the door and stepped inside.
''I'm really sorry about before. I didn't mean to upset you. Can you forgive me?'' Juvia sighed.
''Juvia was never angry at you Merudy. Juvia is just tired. She has too much going on right now. This whole thing with Gray-sama is affecting her more than she thought. And then there's you asking all these questions. It's just too much.'' Juvia said. Merudy gave her a sad smile.
''I know how you feel. That's exactly how I felt when I broke up with Zancrow. It hurts at first, but then it gets better. And I know what will make you feel better right away.''
''What?'' Juvia asked. Merudy grinned.
'' Clubbing!'' she exclaimed. Juvia grimaced at the idea.
''Juvia isn't sure-'' Merudy cut her off.
''Juvia Lockser! You are going out tonight. I will make sure of it! Now, you are going to go home, put on your sexiest dress and you are going to the club with me. Do you understand?'' Juvia nodded meekly. Merudy could be scary when she wanted to. Merudy smiled.
''Good. Now lets go. I'm going to help you get your sexy on.'' Merudy took Juvia's hand and dragged Juvia out of the animal hospital.
It had taken about two hours to get Juvia club ready (in Merudy's opinion). They had to take Juvia's car because Juvia was afraid that Merudy would be too drunk to drive. When Merudy thought that Juvia was club ready, they left. Juvia was nervous. She had never been to a club before. She never had any reason to. She also didn't like the loud music and sweating bodies. When they reached the club, Juvia was reluctant to get out of the car.
''Come on, Juvia. You're going to have a good time, you'll see.'' Merudy said. Juvia sighed and got out of the car.
''Fine. But if Juvia doesn't like it then we are leaving.'' Merudy nodded.
''Fair enough. Now lets go!'' Merudy said and together they walked into the club. The Cube was a very prestigious club. If you were important then you went there. Merudy and Juvia had to wait in line for a while before being let in. When Juvia walked in, her nose was assaulted with the smell of smoke, sweat, and alcohol. Music blared in her ears, making her go deaf for a moment. Flasing lights almost blinded her.
''Merudy, Juvia-'' Juvia stopped, realizing that Merudy wasn't with her anymore.
''Merudy?'' Juvia called. Merudy was nowhere in sight. Juvia sighed. 'Juvia has made it this far. She might as well try to enjoy herself.' With that in mind, Juvia slowly made her way over to a more quiet place in the club. Even the more quiet places were still very loud. For most of the night, Juvia was just standing around. She didn't drink so all she had was sparkling water. She also didn't engage in conversation with anyone. That was, until some drunken idiot stumbled over to her.
''Hey beautiful. You by yourself?'' The man said, his words slurring together. Juvia tried not to cringe.
''No, Juvia came with a friend. But she doesn't know where she went.'' The man grinned and leaned in.
''Your name's Juvia? That's nice. Do you want to ditch this place and come home with me?'' Juvia shook her head.
''No. Juvia will just wait for her friend.'' Juvia replied, hoping that he would take the hint. He didn't. Instead, he leaned in again.
''Why not? I'll treat you right.'' This time Juvia couldn't help it. She cringed. His breath reeked of alcohol and smoke. Not to mention that his grin was apalling, in Juvia's opinion. While she was trying to think of a way to leave, she felt a hand on her butt. Juvia quickly realized whose hand it was. She shoved the man away and stomped off to the dance floor. Big mistake.
As soon as she was close enough, Juvia was shoved into the crowd of dancing people. She was pushed in every direction possible. People were bumping into her. Every time she tried to get off the dance floor, she was shoved back in. She started to feel claustrophobic. The air was stifling. The music was too loud, she couldn't her herself think. She needed to get out of there. It was becoming too much for her. She pushed and shoved her way to the exit, not caring if she was being rude. She needed to get out. She couldn't breathe. When she made it outside, she took giant gulps of air. It was so good to be outside. When she was sure that she was calm enough, Juvia took out her phone and texted Merudy and told her to come outside. A few minutes later, Merudy came out of the club, but not without company. Juvia could tell that she was drunk.
''What's the matter, Juv? Why did you call me out here? I was having a blast.'' Juvia frowned.
''Well, Juvia is glad that you were having fun, but now it's time to leave. Now can you please get in the car?'' Merudy nodded.
''Okay. But can he come with?'' she asked, pointing to the man next to her.
''No.'' Juvia said.
''Why not?'' Merudy whined. Juvia glared.
''I said no. Juvia is not letting some random guy into her car. Now get inside.'' Juvia got in and waited for Merudy to follow. When she was settled into the passenger seat, Juvia pulled out of the club parking lot and started the drive home.
''What's wrong with you?'' Merudy asked.
''Never take Juvia to another club again.'' Juvia replied. Merudy fell silent. Juvia was quick to drop Merudy off at her apartment complex and drive back to her place. When she was in the safety of her apartment, Juvia took off her clothes and slowly walked to her bedroom. She collasped onto the bed.
She was asleep in minutes.
