After regaining her senses, Allie felt bile rising up and had to fight the urge not to throw up. Blinking back the tears that were threatening to fall, she sped past the elevator, not wanting to wait in fear he may come back. She made a beeline for the stairs and quickly darted up them to her floor.

Reaching the suit, she bursted into the room and closer the door quickly. She felt her body begin to seize up, as she gasped for air in harsh wheezes. Collapsing against the door, she slid down it and buried her face into Jon's shirt, letting out painful sobs. She let the panic attack take her and run it's coarse through her body.

After several long minutes, Allie felt the tremors in her body begin to settle, along with the sobs. She took several deep settling breaths, before slowly starting to stand. Once on her feet, she walked to the couch and pulled her phone out of her pocket.

Unlocking it, she took a deep breath as she scrolled through her contacts. There was only one person who she felt comfortable enough to call that may have not left yet. Finding the name, she pressed send and held the phone up to her ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey... Umm, did you leave yet?" Allie murmured into the phone, biting harshly at her nails.

"Not yet. Was just getting ready to. Why? What's up, Al?"

"Do you think I could catch a ride with you?"

"Where's the rest of the dream team?" A deep chuckle sounded on the other end.

"They left already," Allie replied quietly, running a hand through her hair, feeling her composure faltering.

There was a brief silence, before the voice continued in a serious and slightly worried tone. "Al, are you ok?"

"No," she gasped out, trying to reign back her tears that were threatening to fall again.

"Where are you?"

"My room."

"Five minutes," and the phone went dead.

Exactly five minutes later, a loud knock on the door sounded. Allie swallowed hard and sighed, before standing up from her position on the couch and walked to the door. Gripping the knob in her hand, she pulled the door open and was gently pushed aside as the figure moved into the room. Glancing around, taking in the surroundings, checking for any threats, before turning back to her.

"Where's Good?" The deep voice questioned.

"I told you they all left," she answered moving towards him.

"Why didn't you go with him?" The questioning became more fatherly.

"He's going to Vegas," she explained, folding her arms across her chest. "I'm going to Iowa to meet Colby and his girlfriend. Jon wanted me to stay with them while he was stuck in Vegas doing promotional stuff."

"Well, I'm glad he made you agree to that," he nodded, before continuing. "So what happened?"

"I really don't want to talk about it," she trembled slightly, moving around him and began throwing Moxley's things into his bag.

"Come on, kid," he sighed, turning to her. "What's going on?" When she didn't answer, he pulled out his phone and waved it at her. "Do I need to call Good?"

"No!" She yelped, feeling her heartbeat accelerate. She didn't need to worry him right now. He needed to focus on his promotional work. "Don't call Jon."

"Then talk to me," his voice had softened immensely, seeing how upset she was about whatever was bothering her. She plopped down on the couch and ran a rough hand through her hair.

"I completely froze, Glenn." The big man moved to sit next to her, but remained quiet as she told him about her encounter with Cena. He saw the emotion cross her face as his own filled with rage. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she finished. "I just stood there. I completely froze up. I don't think I even realized what was happening until he was walking away. I feel like such an idiot. I just let it happen."

"You didn't let it happen, kid," Glenn said, pulling her towards him. "You were caught off guard and unprepared. I'm mean, for fuck sake, Jon had just walked out the door. That took a lot of balls on Cena's part to attempt that when your boyfriend could have easily come back into the hotel."

"He doesn't care," Allie sniffed, "In his eyes I belong to him. I don't understand that though. He's with Nikki. Why the fuck can't he just leave me alone? He didn't want me."

"I wish I knew kid," Glenn sighed, rubbing her shoulders. "But I really believe it's all a psychological game he and Orton are playing. You need to talk to Jon. He needs to know what happened."

"I'll tell him when I see him," she agreed. "I just don't think its a good idea to tell him while he needs to focus in Vegas."

"Whatever you think is best, Al," he said, standing back up and grabbing her bags. "But I think he should be aware of this. Come on. I'll take you to the airport." Nodding and taking a deep calming breath, Allie stood and picked up Moxley in his carrier. She then followed Glenn as he headed out the door.

A few hours later, she landed at Quad City International and exited the plane to meet Colby. She and Glenn had parted at the airport after a tight hug and a promise to text him once she landed. After sending off the text, she returned her attention to finding baggage claim where she would be meeting Colby.

Reaching baggage claim, she glanced around and was met with the broad smile of Colby as he walked up to meet her. Allie had to chuckle as he scooped her up in a big hug which she happily returned, taking comfort in the familiar embrace of someone who was quickly becoming one of her best and closest friends.

"You act like you didn't just see me a few hours ago," she smiled, pulling back, keeping her hands rested on his shoulders and meeting his eyes. She saw the hesitant smile on his face and watched as he folded his arms across his chest and glanced down at his feet. Allie looked at him confused for a moment before it suddenly hit her. Her brows furrowed together and her arms dropped to her side. "He called you."

"He was concerned. As he should be," Colby defended, stepping beside her and throwing an arm over her shoulders. "I could kill Cena for what he did to you. He's lucky I was already in Iowa when I heard."

"Just wait til I get my hands on that butt-head," she scoffed, folding her arms over her chest. "You guys won't think the Devil's favorite demon is so intimidating when he's getting his ass handed to him by The Princess of Darkness." Colby chuckled as he began maneuvering her towards the belt, stopping suddenly when she spun towards him, a look of alarm on her face. "You guys didn't tell Jon did you?"

Colby's expression turned serious, but he shook his head, "No, we didn't." Allie sighed in relief as they began walking again. "You get to do that when we get to my place." Allie spun around again ready to dispute, but Colby held up a hand. "It's not right to hide this from him Allie. I don't like the idea of hiding something from one of my best friends, especially when it involves his girlfriend. Even if she is also one of my best friends. He deserves to know."

Allie huffed, but knowing Colby was right, she nodded. The two friends then quickly retrieved Moxley and her luggage, before moving towards the parking area. After loading up into Colby's car, they made the short drive into Iowa towards his home in Davenport. Moxley was curled up in Allie's lap as she took in the breathtaking scenery around her.

Turning to Colby she smiled at him. "Is this heaven?"

"No," he chuckled, glancing at her and sending her a wink. "It's Iowa."

"Colbs, you are definitely starting to climb the ranks in movie quote trivia," she laughed, making him send her a cheesy smile.

After a few moments Colby's facial expression changed to a frustrated and regretful look. Allie rested her hand on his forearm, gaining his attention. "What's wrong Colby?"

Colby sighed heavily, then scratched roughly at his bearded chin. "I could kill Cena for what he did to you. He's lucky I was already in Iowa when I heard." He glanced over with a worried and sympathetic look. "You've become like a sister to me, Al. I know Joe feels the same way and we all know how Jon feels about you." That brought a small smile to her face. "When they hear about this, it isn't going to be pretty for Cena and Orton. We've let it go too long."

"I know how you guys feel about all this and I would love nothing more than to watch you three beat the shit out of those two," Allie responded, rubbing his forearm gently before placing her hand back in her lap. "The part that's so difficult for me is being responsible for it. I know we're a team and we protect each other, but I hate the idea of you guys getting hurt or reprimanded for it."

"We don't care about any of that," Colby argued. "We want to protect you. Let us."

"I'm done fighting the inevitable," Allie sighed, looking out the windshield as they pulled ing a driveway. "I'm not by any means encouraging it, but I will not stop you guys from retaliating against them."

"Really?" Colby asked surprised. Turning the car off, he turned towards her. "No talking us out of it this time?"

Allie shook her head, "No." Colby gave her a short nod in understanding, before turning to climb out of the car. "Now let me go call my boyfriend and break the news so the three of you can begin your plotting."

She giggled when Colby rubbed his hands together excitedly, before helping her to grab her bags. Holding Moxley and his bag, Allie followed Colby up the front stairs of his house.

He opened the front door and lead Allie inside, "Leighla's at work right now. She'll be home in a little bit, so that will give you some time to call Jon." Allie nodded as Colby began walking up the stairs on the other side of the living room, following behind him.

After getting Allie settled in the guest room, Colby turned to her and smiled supportively. "You want anything before you call him? Food? Ice cream? Shot and a beer?" Allie laughed, giving Colby a hug, before he exited the room.

Taking a deep breath, Allie gathered up Moxley and settled them on the bed. She pulled her laptop out and sent Jon a quick text, while she set it up. 'Time to skype?' It didn't take long for his reply to come through. 'You bet.' Allie took a deep breath while she connected and waited for Jon's handsome face to appear on the screen. Moxley in the meantime, climbed up on her lap and Allie scooped him up and brought his cute face up next to hers, with a cute pout.

When Jon's face appeared he instantly grinned at the sight of the two. "We miss you, daddy." Jon's deep throaty chuckle sounded through the speakers.

"I miss you guys too," he answered, as Allie set Moxley down in her lap, then turned her attention back to Jon. "How was your flight, baby?"

"Quick and painless," Allie smiled at him. "How was yours?"

"Longer and lonelier than I would have liked," Jon answered giving her a cute pout of his own, making Allie giggle. "I guess you got to Colby's ok?"

"No, actually," she answered with a smirk. "Colby didn't show up, so we had to hitchhike down these sketchy country roads. We met this guy in this beat up old clunker and he gave us a lift. He brought us back to his place and offered us room and board. He told me my eyes were as blue as window cleaner and asked if he could borrow my shirt. He said he needed to wipe the oil off his dip stick. After he complimented my eyes so sweetly, I couldn't say no."

"Well," Jon smirked in return. "As long as you're having fun." Allie laughed as she scratched Moxley behind the ears. Jon's smirk turned into a full smile at the sound of he laugh. "So what do you guys have planned for your visit?"

"Not sure yet," Allie answered, pushing some of her blonde hair behind her right ear. "Leighla's at work right now. She should be here shortly. I do know Colbs and I are still planning on hitting the gym to work on a couple things."

Jon nodded, "Sounds good. Let me know how it goes." Jon's expression turned slightly more serious, "I wish I could be there, princess."

Allie gave him a small hesitant smile, "Me too." Jon noticed her demeanor change as she spoke.

"What's wrong, baby?" Jon said leaning forward, getting closer to the screen as her eyes met his with hesitation. Then he saw the sadness enter her eyes and he swore he saw then begin to tear. "Allie?" Jon became concerned, fidgeting in his seat and leaning his arms against the table his computer rested on. He did his best to keep his voice calm. "What's going on? You're scaring me babe."

Allie took a deep breath and blew it out harshly, "Ummm... I need to tell you something. I was gonna wait, but I was convinced otherwise."

"What happened?" Jon said as his body tensed in worry and fear.

Allie ran a rough hand through her hair, "After you guys left the hotel, I was walking to the elevators, but I was stopped and pulled down a corridor."

Jon's eyebrows furrowed together and he bit his lip in anger. "Who?" was the only word he uttered.

"Cena."

Allie watched as Jon struggled to compose himself as the anger surged through him. He growled out in anger and gripped his hair in frustration. Taking a few deep breath he returned his attention to his upset girlfriend. "What happened, baby?"

As Allie relayed the story, she saw Jon's anger heighten. He stood and began pacing his living room, before he stopped suddenly and pounded his fists against the nearby wall, making Allie jump.

"Jon," Allie said, getting no response. "Jon." Still nothing. "Jonny... Please." She watched as his back heaved a few times before he turned to face her. He gripped his hair again and moved to sit back down in front of his laptop, meeting her blue eyes.

After a moment of trying to compose himself, he finally spoke. "Are you ok?" It was a harsh whisper, all of his emotion in it.

"I'm ok," she answered, but not convincingly.

He sighed loudly in frustration, "I should have just fucking brought you with me. At least you would have been safe at home."

"Don't do that," Allie snapped out. "Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault."

"It's my job to protect you," Jon but back. "You're my girlfriend. I should have said fuck the promotions and made sure you were safe."

"The promotions are part of your job, Jon," Allie argued. "You can't just brush them off."

"You're more important to me than some stupid promotions, Allie," Jon roared. Allie stammered at that, unsure of what to say and blushing slightly. "Does Colby know?"

Allie nodded, "Glenn called him, after he dropped me at the airport."

"Why the fuck didn't he call me?" Jon snipped.

"Because I asked him not to," Allie answered quietly. "I thought it best that I tell you." Jon sighed heavily, running his hands down his face.

"I can't let this stand," Jon said breathing out another sigh. "You can fight and argue with me all you want, but he's gone to far this time. I won't continue to sit back and let these things happen."

Allie sighed and nodded, "Ok."

Jon looked at her in surprise for a moment. He licked his lips and cleared his throat. "You aren't going to fight me on this?"

Allie shook her head. "No. I already told Colby that I wasn't going to stop you guys this time. I'm not telling you to go out and do what I know you will, but I also won't stop you as long as you don't do it alone." Jon just kept his gaze on her for a moment, still in disbelief that his girlfriend had just given him and the boys the go ahead. Her voice brought his focus back to her. "I miss you and I wish you were here."

"Me too, baby," Jon felt his body relax and the tension fade away looking into the sad eyes of his girlfriend. "I want you to get some rest and try to relax a bit, ok?"

She gave him a faint smile and a nod, pressing three fingers against her lips, then moving them to press to the screen. "I love you."

He gave her a small smile, "I love you too, princess. I'll talk to you soon."

"Bye, baby." When they disconnected, Allie felt a huge weight lift off her shoulders, but also felt some worry about how Jon would be able to focus.

Untangling herself from Moxley, who had fallen asleep, sprawled across her lap, she stood and moved to the door. Making her way downstairs, she found Colby in living room with Kevin on the couch. They both turned to look at her as she approached, Kevin jumping up excitedly and rushing towards her.

"Well, aren't you just the tiniest little thing," Allie giggled picking him up and holding him against her chest. She smiled at Colby, who remained on the couch, chuckling.

"He loves the ladies," Colby said, as he stood up and walked towards the kitchen. He motioned for her to follow, which she did, bringing Kevin with her. "How'd it go?"

"As well as can be expected," she sighed, taking the open bottle of water he offered after setting Kevin down. "Thank you." She took a small sip before continuing. "He's pissed and worried... And you can probably expect a phone call soon."

Colby chuckled lightly, "I'd be surprised if he didn't call." Just then they heard the front door open and close, which was followed by rushing footsteps towards the kitchen.

Just as she turned to the entrance way, Allie saw a blur of dark hair blow by her in Colby's direction. She chuckled seeing Colby now had his arms full of petite brunette as Leighla peppered his laughing face with kisses. After planting a solid one to his lips, that he happily returned, she jumped down out of his arms and turned towards Allie.

Allie and Leighla looked at each other for a moment before grinning broadly and darting towards each other. They enveloped each other tightly in a hug, pulling back after a moment. "I'm so glad you're here!"

"Me too!" Allie replied excitedly. "I'm so glad I finally get to hang with you."

"Same," Leighla laughed. "I have some cool things planned for us to go do. If that's ok with you."

"Definitely!"

"Hold your horses, ladies," Colby interrupted, stepping up to them and pointing at Allie. "You missy, are under strict gym orders and I'm under strict orders to make sure you get there."

Allie huffed and stuck her tongue out at him, making Leighla burst into giggles. "Oh, I like her."

"He's so bossy," Allie teased, speaking to Leighla. "How do you put up with him?"

"I just threaten to shave his head in his sleep," Leighla smirked. "Usually shuts him right up."

Colby rolled his eyes at the girls as he headed towards the stairs. "Allie get your ass ready. We leave in 10 minutes. Babe, if you're coming you need to get ready too."

"Yes, dear," Leighla hollered after him. "He's officially in gym mode. We may as well go get ready or we'll have to listen to him grumble all evening." Allie laughed as she and Leighla headed upstairs to get ready.

After an intense crossfit session with both Leighla and Colby, Allie and he had moved into the ring.

"Ok, you're already a decent aerialist," Colby snarked at her, as Allie stretched out a little against the ropes. "So you should pick up on most of this pretty easily."

Allie hummed at him with a raised eyebrow, before smirking and charged him. Grasping at Colby, she coiled herself around him in a tilt-a-whirl headscissor takedown. Jumping back to her feet as soon as she and Colby hit the mat. She loomed over him with a devilish smile as he laid on his back starring up at her.

"Ow," he groaned, before rolling over and pushing up to his feet. Leighla stood outside the ring laughing hysterically at Colby, who shot her an unamused looked.

"You so deserved that, hunny," she forced out between laughs. Colby huffed before turning to Allie who was ready for him. After clotheslining him, she picked him up and locked and dropped him, performing a perfect hook and ladder.

Colby groaned rolling over on his back, "Jon's been a bad influence on you. What the hell do you need my help for?" Allie chuckled, helping him to his feet.

"Because you have moved in your arsenal that I could benefit from learning," Allie said, wrapping an arm around his waist. "Against Neanderthals like Cena and Orton, it gives me an advantage. They're planning on studying the old me. Wait until they realize they've stepped into the ring with a reinvented me."

"Fair enough," Colby nodded in agreement giving her a squeeze. "So what can I teach you then?"

Allie began ticking moves off on her fingers as she spoke, "slingshot stunner, leaping avalanche frankensteiner, over the top rope flying tigersault, inverted frankensteiner, and standing shooting star press... That's my favorite. I gotta learn that one!"

Colby laughed, "Have you been studying me or something? Most of those I did in my Indy days."

"Uh... Hello? Kinda the one that signed you," Allie said, pointing to herself. "I'm a Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns encyclopedia."

Colby laughed and nodded, "Alright, chick. Let's get started."

A couple hours later, Colby had put Allie and her body through the wringer. Though she was exhausted she felt accomplished in her efforts to pick up some things from Colby. Leighla had snapped many photos and even took a few videos of the two in the ring and Allie couldn't wait to check them out. Taking a sweaty selfie with Colby and Leighla, she sent it to Jon, Steph, and Joe with the caption:

'Phase 1 of transformation completed.'

After they got back to the house, Allie made her way upstairs to her room to shower and change. Colby and Leighla had suggested firing up the grill and letting the 'kids' play in the backyard. Thinking it was a great idea, Allie was eager to get showered and get Moxley downstairs.

Once she was showered, Allie changed into a pair of faded jean shorts and a lacy, cream colored halter tank. Deciding to let her hair air dry and go barefoot, she picked up Moxley and made her way downstairs.

She found Leighla in the kitchen cutting up veggies and slid up next to her. "So, I have a business proposition for you," Allie said to her with a smile, bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Leighla chuckled, turning to face her, "And what might that be?"

"Ok, I may have creeped on your Instagram and was checking out some of the makeup and stuff you've done," Allie began, making Leighla giggle. "Well, when I hit the ring again in six weeks I have to change my look back to the whole gothic biker chick. I was wondering if you'd be willing to help me out with it?"

"Absolutely!" Leighla said excitedly, "we can start looking through stuff while you're here and figure out what you like best."

"Awesome," Allie grinned, "but let's keep this between us. I haven't told the boys about changing my look and I want it to be a surprise for Jon. Would you be able to come out for Raw the week I return?"

"Yea," Leighla nodded, picking up her phone she began typing in it excitedly. "Shouldn't be a problem. I'll let work know when I go back on Friday."

"Let work know about what?" Colby asked, startling the two woman when he walked in front the back porch.

"Oh," Leighla stammered a minute, before smiling at Colby, "Um, Allie invited me to Raw in a few weeks for her return. I told her I'd love to."

"That's great babe," Colby smiled. "It'll be nice to have you on the road with us." He said stepping forward and kissing her lips sweetly. Allie smiled at the couple. It made her miss Jon even more watching the two lovebirds in front of her.

"Colbs?" Allie asked, when he and Leighla pulled apart. "Have you heard from Jon? I sent that picture out to him, Steph and Joe and I haven't heard back from him. It's not a big deal that he didn't answer, just a little odd."

"Yea," Colby answered, pulling a few steaks out of the fridge. "I talked to him a little while ago. He was headed out, so that may be why you haven't heard from him yet."

Allie nodded, "How did he sound?"

Colby sighed before answering, "He's still pissed and I can't really blame him. He's worried about you."

"I know," Allie responded, moving to help Leighla. "I just hope he can pull himself together and get his promotions done without any issues."

"Jon's a big boy, Al," Colby responded as he headed towards the door. "He'll handle it the best way he can."

After dinner, which they ate out on the deck, the puppies were thoroughly exhausted from playing and chasing each other around the yard. They decided to move inside and watch tv for a while before bed needing to relax after such a long day.

'Jump on it! Jump on it! Jump on it! Jump on it!'

Somehow the need to relax had lead to watching Fresh Prince of Bel Air reruns and the three dancing around the living room reenacting the 'Jump on it' dance as the song played from the tv. All three laughed hysterically as the song ended and Allie began doing the 'Carlton' dance as dramatically as possible. Leighla and Colby held each other up as they laughed watching her with tears in their eyes.

"You do that a little too well, Al," Leighla laughed, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"If I had known this is what I'd be walking into," a voice startled them from the doorway, making them spin towards it, "I would've stayed in Vegas."

Allie's face lit up in joyful surprise at the site of Jon in the doorway. The site of him almost bringing her to tears in happiness and relief. She bolted towards him and jumped into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.

"What are you doing here?" She beamed at him. "What about the promotions?"

Jon hugged her tightly to him and rubbed his nose lightly against hers. "I tried, but I couldn't get my mind off you. I just needed to see you in person and hold you," he whispered against her lips so only she could hear. "I had to make sure you were ok. I called Steph and explained what happened. She sent a couple guys out to replace me and told me to get my ass on a plane."

"I'm so glad you're here," Allie's voice shook, before pushing her lips against his and kissing him with all the love she felt for him. The kiss was returned with equal passion. Pulling back after a moment, Jon brushed his nose against hers again, before setting her down on the floor.

"Made it in without a hitch?" Colby asked moving to Jon and clapping him on the back. They embraced in a manly hug and pulled back smiling at each other.

"You knew?" Allie asked in disbelief, eyeing Colby, who looked at her sheepishly. "Why didn't you tell me you little shit?"

"Yea!" Leighla chimed in and muscled Colby out of the way to greet Jon with a friendly hug. "Good to see you again, Jon."

"You too, Leighla," Jon smiled returning the hug, before turning back to his girlfriend. "And he didn't tell you because I told him not to." Allie huffed in mock annoyance, before Jon pulled her tight against him making her giggle. "So if you want to be mad at someone, be mad at me."

"I'm not mad," Allie smiled, rolling her eyes. "I just can't believe you're here." She placed another kiss to his lips, running her fingers up through his hair. They smiled lovingly at each other when they pulled back.

"Beer, Jon?" Leighla asked as she began walking towards the kitchen, with Colby following not far behind.

"Yes, please!" Jon hollered in their direction, taking Allie's hand and turning them towards the plush armchair. He pulled her down into his lap and ran his hand up her smooth bare thigh. He glanced over to the couch and saw the two new best friends laying side by side sound asleep. The site making him smirk. "Doesn't even wake up to greet his dad. Priorities, Mox."

"They've had a busy day," Allie giggled, wrapping her right arm across Jon's shoulders. "They played in the backyard for quite a while and quickly became best friends. We'll have a hard time separating them."

Jon chuckled, then turned to look up at her, "How are you holding up, baby?"

"I'm better, now that you're here," Allie sighed, giving him a small smile. "All I wanted after it happened was to see you, but I didn't want to distract you from everything."

"I don't care what I'm doing," Jon said, wrapping her up and cradling her in his arms, "nothing will ever be more important than you. If you need me I'll do everything within my power to get to you." Allie's breath stuttered a moment before her lips were captured in a gentle, lazy kiss. "I love you."

"I love you, too," she breathed back against his lips.
