Edit: I'm so sorry for the REALLY late update, I had Internet problems last night.

Merry Christmas everyone! :D I hope everyone's having a great time and eating your body weight in chocolate mint cookies.

(Hey, and if anyone had a less-than-merry Christmas, first of all, you're not alone. Second of all, tomorrow's drabble will be for you.)

Last Christmas

"I'm sorry we couldn't be in Ohio for Christmas," says Blaine, looking at Kurt over the candles on the table.

"It's okay," Kurt says absentmindedly, looking at the snow falling out the window. He looks back at Blaine with a gentle smile. "There's always next year."

Together, without knowing who moved first, they link their hands on the table. They're waiting for the pie to finish baking in the oven, too lazy to clean the dishes in the meanwhile, baking in comfortable presence of each other.

"Besides, you know that all I really need for my Christmas to be merry is you," says Kurt with a grin; of course he knows cheesiness is all he needs to make his husband melt like the ice cream they'll have with the pie.

"I love you," Blaine replies, and kisses Kurt's hand. Kurt pretends to swoon, and he giggles.

"Merry Christmas, darling."

"Merry Christmas," he beams. "Shall we have the pie first, and then duet? What song are we going for this year?"

"I don't think the pie is done yet, we should sing first," Kurt answers very seriously. "So I was thinking about Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, but there's also All I Want For Christmas Is You, and Last Christmas… what do you think?"

Blaine just looks at him and wonders how he got so lucky. "Last Christmas, no doubt."
