Chapter 34:

"Are you out of your fucking mind?!" Vince bellowed at Allie as she sat in his office. She watched him with a calm expression with her feet propped up on his desk as the vein in his forehead began to throb. "You're think that you can just jump script without permission? What gives you the right to go out on live television and blindside the face of the company without any type of prior warning? You don't run this show! I do!

Allie had immediately been called into Vince's office as soon as the segment had ended. The moment she walked into the make shift office, Vince had been on her, ripping her up one side and down the other.

Allie had known the consequences when she had made the decision to jump script and talked the production crew into helping her. She took complete blame, but she wouldn't apologize for embarrassing Cena, who had immediately run to Hunter throwing a tantrum. She smirked at the thought. It was only the beginning of what she had planned for him and quite frankly, she didn't give two shits if it got her fired in the process. It would all be worth it in the end.

"Do I amuse you?" Vince snapped at her, walking up to her and leaning down in her face. "I should fire you right now for that stunt."

Allie leant forward, getting right into Vince's face and smirked at him. "Go ahead Vinnie Mac."

"You think I won't?" He snapped back, standing up right once again. "You think you're that valuable? Anyone can be replaced Allie and in case you didn't notice, we did just fine without you for the last several years."

"Then do it, Vince," Allie shrugged, watching the vein in his head protrude even more. "End the rise in your stress levels and just fire me, because I can promise you, I have no intention of working the storyline the way creative has it laid out."

Vince huffed walking to his desk and bracing his hands against, taking several deep breaths. "Why are you doing this?" He asked without looking at her.

"You know why," Allie answered simply.

"Because of Sami," Vince nodded with a sigh.

"Because of Sami. Because of Jon. Because of everyone that he's hurt that means something to me," Allie spoke, her voice still remained calm. "Because 7 years ago he did the same thing to me."

"What about Orton?" Vince asked finally turning back to her. The understanding was there, but he was doing his best to fight it back.

"As long as Orton continues to stay out of my way, he's safe," Allie replied with another shrug. "For now."

Vince ran his hands down his face as he struggled with making the decision. Leaning against his desk, he looked at Allie with appraisal. "When did you turn into Mark?"

Allie chuckled lightly at her boss, "The day he became my mentor."

"God help us all," Vince muttered glancing up at the ceiling, before turning his attention back to Allie. "What are you hoping to accomplish with this?"

"Vengeance," Allie answered, removing her feet from the desk and making a move to stand. "He's going to regret the day he crossed me, Vince. That I can promise. It will all result in you needing a new face of the company."

"You know no matter what you do to him," Vince shook his head at her, "he will always be the face."

"It's hard to be the face of the WWE when you aren't in the WWE," Allie smirked crossing her arms across her chest. Vince gave her a confused look, waiting for her to elaborate. "When I'm done with him, he'll either quit voluntarily or by force. Just like you say Vince, anyone can be replaced. Even John Cena."

"You have that much confidence in yourself?" Vince couldn't fight the smirk that crossed his face.

"Have you met me?" Allie asked somewhat smugly.

"Unfortunately, yes," Vince chuckled, before walking around the desk to plop down in the chair behind it. He drummed his fingers on the wood for a moment in a contemplating manner, before speaking again. "I'll agree to this on one condition." Allie raised a curious eyebrow at him waiting for him to continue. "You have to keep Orton in the loop."

"And what if it turns out he's involved?" Allie questioned, clearly not happy about it. "He was before. What if this time is no different?"

"Then it sounds like you need to do a little investigative work," Vince shrugged, earning an eye roll from Allie. "They're both main eventing in a tag match tonight. Cena's teaming with Paul White and Orton's teaming with Danielson. In order to prevent you interfering and ruining the main event, I'm switching Bryan out for you."

"Wait, what?!" Allie nearly shrieked. "No, no, no, no, no! I can't team with Orton!"

"You can and you will," Vince argued, with a smug look of his own.

"This sucks," Allie grumbled. "I'm suppose to team with one of the men who tried to ruin my career?"

"Keep your enemies closer," Vince answered simply. Allie groaned before making her way to the door, but stopped as Vince started to talk again. "7 years ago, I failed you, Allie. I failed you as a boss and as a friend. I'm doing my best to mend that error. Do what you have to do."

Without looking back at him, Allie gave a stiff nod of her head, then pulled the door open.

"Fuck me," Allie growled as she exited the office.

"As flattered as I am," came an amused, deep voice beside her, making Allie spin towards the person. "I think both of our respective parties would be highly upset."

"Shut it, Joe," Allie snickered at the large Samoan. He chuckled as he fell in step beside her as they walked towards their locker room. "You on babysitting duty?"

"We all agreed to let you do your thing," Joe smirked, "but we still need to watch each other's backs whenever possible." The two continued on to the locker room in a comfortable silence until Joe broke it. "So are you gonna be able to sit down after the ass chewing you got? Want me to grab you one of those donut cushions?"

"Harharhar," Allie mockingly laughed at Joe, making him laugh. "Careful Anoa'i, I've got no problem kicking your ass."

"You would never," Joe responded judging her playfully. "You love me too much."

"I'm obligated," Allie teased. "You're marrying my best friend. Family functions would be awkward if I was honest about how I really feel about you."

"Oh really," Joe laughed. "And how do you really feel? Apparently you've forgotten we were friends before Steph and I even met."

"Oh I didn't forget," Allie taunted him. "It was just so much easier to hide it then. Now there's more pressure to make you feel comfortable in our little family."

"You are so full of crap," Joe huffed, grabbing her by the arms and tossing her over his shoulder, before spinning her around in circles.

"Oh shit! Joe!" Allie exclaimed with a loud laugh. "Put me down before I puke on you!"

Joe laughed as he stopped and set Allie down on her feet. He held her arms as she took a minute to steady herself from the dizzy feeling. "Now I really hate you."

"Yea," Joe chuckled, as they turned to continue walking down the hallway. "Still don't believe you."

"So what's the skinny? What did Vince say?" Joe asked after a minute as they turned a corner.

"The skinny?" Allie said pulling a face. "Was that your awkward attempt at being cool?"

"Attempt?" Joe gasped with a look of disbelief. "Baby girl, you should know by now that I'm already cool."

"Oh yea?" Allie laughed. "How do you figure?"

"Have you seen my bone structure? My hair? My eyes?" Joe teased with a cocky look. "I'm cool by default."

"Excuse me, Superman," Allie snickered, making Joe shoot a glare at her. "I forgot I was with the Samoan Fabio."

"Call me that again and I'll duct tape you to the side of one of the production trucks," he threatened her playfully, making her burst into giggles as they reached their locker room. "So what did he say?"

"I've been placed in the main event tonight," Allie said as she pushed the door open, holding it for Joe as he stepped inside. The others all looked up as they entered, greeting them. Allie made her way over to Jon and plopped down between his legs where he was straddling one of the benches.

"How were you placed in the main event?" Joe asked confused as he sat next to Steph on the couch across the room. "Isn't it a tag match?"

"Vince was pissed, but he gets it," she explained to everyone as she leaned back against Jon's chest, his arms folding around her. "He told me to do my thing, but he doesn't want me interfering in the match tonight, so he replaced Bryan with me as Orton's partner tonight."

Allie felt Jon's arms tighten, but he remained silent. She knew he was doing his best to fight his instincts to protect her and not let her get involved in all this potential danger. They had all agreed to let Allie handle it all from there and he wouldn't go back on his word now.

"He wants me to keep Randy in the loop," Allie spoke up again. "I still don't trust him though."

"He's been involved too many times before," Colby spoke up. "It's almost impossible to believe he isn't involved."

"I need to know for sure though," Allie responded. "If he isn't involved, then for now we can leave him out of it. If he is, two birds, one stone."

John was walking cautiously down the corridor after spending the last 25 minutes complaining to Hunter about the attack. He'd be damned if that little bitch got the upper hand on him. He was so close to having her right where he wanted her, so he had to remain careful of every move he made.

She was a mind game genius, but John had no doubt in his ability. She was no match for him. He was so caught up in his own thoughts, he didn't notice her step out of the shadows behind him with a devilish smile.

John froze and a chill shot up his spine when a lowly evil chuckle sounded behind him. Before he could turn around, his feet were pulled out from under him and he was suspended upside down. He cursed and swung wildly until his eyes settled on Allie a few feet from him leaning against a wall.

"What the fuck?" He bellowed at her, making her stalk closer to him and he struggled against her when she pulled his hands behind his back and tied them. "Letting me go, you fucking psycho!"

"Shhhh," she said grinning sadistically, getting in his face and covering his mouth with her hand. "Can't have you doing that or the fun will be over too soon." She laughed as she quickly pulled out a scarf and gagged him. "There, that's better."

John watched as she sat on the floor in front of him, so that their faces were level with each other. Pulling out a marker from her pocket, she gripped his jaw roughly and began to doodle on his face and hummed quietly to herself. John grunted and groaned in a pleading manner for her to stop and let him go.

"You've been so desperate for my attention, John," Allie smiled at him, before slapping him harshly across the face. "Well here I am and now you don't wanna play. That's awfully disappointing."

She began doodling again, while John started thrashing and tried to jerk his head away. Allie slapped him hard once again, making him whimper in pain, before grabbing his face harshly. "Hey! Stop that! You keep messing it up!"

After a couple more moments, Allie sat back to appraise her work. The words and pictures across his face were some of the most unflattering for the face of the company to be associated with. Seeming satisfied, she tossed the marker aside, "So! Are you excited for your match tonight? I know I am!"

John gave her an annoyed, but questioning look. "Oh! They didn't tell you? Vince didn't want me to do something to interfere in the match and ruin the main event, soooooo... He made me Orton's partner tonight instead of Bryan. Isn't that great?!"

John's eyes grew to the size of saucers as he realize how much potential danger that could put him. He began to scream and thrash wildly as Allie giggled and climbed to her feet. Grabbing a hold of him she pushed him until he began to spin, a devious cackle erupting from her. When John finally stopped spinning and faced Allie once again, his eyes bulged as she stood in from of him with a black kendo stick in her right hand.

"You know why that's so great, John?" Allie grinned, leaning towards him. Reaching out she ripped his shirt open making him yell out behind the gag. "Because tonight, when I get you in that ring, I'm gonna beat the holy piss out of you."

The grin on her face never faltered as she raised the kendo stick and struck him several times in the midsection and chest, making him scream out in pain. With one last strike, Allie dropped the kendo stick and patted him roughly on the cheek. "See you out there, John boy."

John groaned and yelled after her as she left him hanging in the hallway, humming and dancing down the corridor. She felt bad for the poor soul that would find Cena, but had thoroughly enjoyed every moment of that.

Allie knocked firmly on the door in front of her. She had just seen Cena enter the trainers room and figured now would be as good a time as any for this conversation. She hadn't been able to fight off the grin as she She didn't have to wait long as the door swung open and she was met with the conflicting facial expressions of Randy Orton.

"We need to talk," Allie said, keeping her voice stern. She refused to show how hesitant and nervous she was to speak to her recently discovered brother. The one that didn't know they were related. The one that hated her. The best friend of her arch-rival.

"Uh, yea," Randy nodded, swallowing harshly and stepping aside to let her enter. "Come on in."

Once inside the room, Allie turned to face Randy and folded her arms across her chest. Randy watched her cautiously as he moved across the room to his bag to retrieve his tape. He was fully dressed in his ring attire and a viper tshirt.

"So I hear we're partners tonight," his voice sounded as he reached his bag. Glancing back at her, he sighed seeing the look of annoyance on her face at the idea. "Look, for whatever it's worth, you have my word that I had nothing to do with what happened to Johnston."

"Your word doesn't mean much to me," Allie sneered at him.

"I thought maybe since we're family and all, that maybe you'd give me a chance," Randy shrugged as he taped his wrists, watching her closely for a reaction. It didn't take long, as Allie's mouth dropped open in disbelief.

"You know?" Allie asked in shock.

"I kind of found out by accident," Randy answered, scratching his fingers across his forehead nervously, before returning to his task. "I didn't know if you knew or not, so I took a shot. I'm assuming from your reaction that it's true."

"How did you find out?" Allie questioned, not feeling it necessary to confirm his last statement.

"I overheard Dad talking about it with someone on the phone when I was over there a couple weeks ago," he answered, tossing his tape back into his bag. "I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Then I suddenly felt so sick to my stomach thinking of all the things I had done to my own sister."

"What you and Cena put me through was wrong whether I was sister or not," Allie snapped at him. He at least had the decency to look remorseful as a pink tint filled his cheeks. "No one deserves the treatment that my friends and I received."

"I know," Randy nodded, quickly agreeing. "There is nothing that I can say that would excuse what I did, but I'm so sorry for it."

"And what about Bob?" Allie quickly questioned, choosing to ignore the apology, since at that point she couldn't possibly forgive him. "I was under the impression that he didn't know who I was. What exactly does he think of all this?"

"I'm not gonna lie," Randy sighed, folding his arms over his chest. "He wasn't happy about it. From what I could tell he was just finding out at the moment I overheard it. I don't know what he'll do, if anything."

"Well, that's just fantastic," Allie laughed humorously, running a hand through her hair.

"Look, he may not do anything, but if he tries I'll be there for you," Randy said, moving closer to her. "I'm not Dad. I'm not just gonna abandon you."

"You would go up against your father for a sister you've only known about for a hot second?" Allie asked in disbelief.

"I would choose my sister over a man that has lied to me and my family most of my life," Randy answered with a definitive tone. "What kind of father does that?"

"So now I'm just suppose to trust you, because it turns out we share a similar bloodline?" Allie looked him skeptically. "That's asking an awful lot, Randy."

"I'm not asking you to trust me," Randy said, putting his head down. "God knows I don't deserve it. All I'm asking for is a chance to right the wrongs. Sister or not, what I've done to you, all of you, was wrong. I never should've gone along with it. Just give me the chance to have your back like I should have 7 years ago. Like I should have your whole life."

A/N: Should she give him the chance? Will they be a brother and sister united against a common enemy or is Randy setting her up?
