I love Mary Lambert. Don't you love Mary Lambert? Everyone should love Mary Lambert.
(yeah I changed the pronouns in the song so it'd be appropriate)
Keeps Me Warm
"He says I smell like…" Kurt whispers against Blaine's chest.
"Safety and home," Blaine whispers back and Kurt smiles, breathing in the sweet scent of his skin.
"I named both of his eyes," Kurt sings softly, kissing Blaine's chest.
"Forever and please don't go," he returns, running his fingers up and down Kurt's spine and sighing silently when Kurt flicks his tongue against his neck.
"I could be your morning sunrise," Kurt sings, letting the words fall out comfortably onto Blaine's skin, caressing him like a warm summer breeze.
"All the time, all the time, yeah…" Blaine's voice is like warm honey, and Kurt shivers at its earnestness.
"This could be good, this could be good…" He feels at home, here in Blaine's arms. How did he ever go on without Blaine? There is clearly no other color in this world, nothing to fill in the void with other than Blaine's touch, Blaine's smile, Blaine's voice, Blaine's eyes.
"And I can't change," Blaine murmurs, clearly both sleepy and content.
"Even if I tried," Kurt strokes Blaine's curls away from his warm face, scratching his scalp gently.
"Even if I wanted to," he smiles, squeezing Kurt in a tight hug for a short second before letting go and returning to drawing patterns on his back.
"And I can't change," Kurt melts deeper into Blaine, into his scent and the way he feels under him, small but strong, masculine and intimate.
"Even if I tried," Blaine sings in a tone that's nearly asleep, but Kurt knows he won't fall asleep until the song is done.
"Even if I wanted to…"
"My love, my love-" he starts, and stops just as Kurt continues.
"-my love, my love-"
"He keeps me warm," says Blaine.
"He keeps me warm." Kurt nuzzles under Blaine's ear. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight," Blaine breathes, already dozing off.
