Emily was right, the next morning she was stomping through the house calling for us to come downstairs.

"Hurry up! We need the training!" she bellowed up and down the stairs. Christopher, Edwin and Elsie were the first to her side. Aurora, Solomon and I were last to join all the others.

Emily was instructing what to do between her and Christopher. His strength was obviously overmatching hers but she moved like a spider monkey dodging each of her mate's moves. It was all poetic when you looked at Emily glide between Christopher's jabs. He'd finally seen an error in her moves and quickly took the advantage.

In a nearly unseen move, Christopher twirled just right to let one of his hands block both of hers and let his one free hand fly in the open space at her jaw line. He gripped her lower jaw and flipped her away from him. In the ice covered snow, we heard the sound of cracking marble. Emily lay on the ground for sometime completely motionless and silent. In a move about as quick as her mates, she flipped him away from hers.

"One thing to always remember: never let your guard down." She announced once Christopher got to his feet. Aurora was up next.

"Elsie you're up next." Elsie walked to stand in front of her then crouched into a defensive stance. By the time Emily had gotten to her, the sun was had set long ago. Shadows appeared from every angle. She was in the best time to control her abilities.

Emily lunged for her and Elsie quickly evaporated out of the way via shadow and reappeared behind her. She swiftly grabbed her sister's hair as Emily grappled her arm and twisted her around to land on her back in the ice-snow. Not too long after, Elsie shot up and began attacking in smooth motions that was blocked each time by her sister. She crouched and swung her foot around, knocking Emily down to the ground.

"Good." Emily nodded. "Though your abilities are very useful, you need to learn to fight without them. Now pair up." All the couples joined together save Emily and Christopher. Emily watched us and offered tips and Christopher was my match.
