That afternoon the two men went to find Naruto, Iruka deeming it necessary to see how Naruto would react. They caught up with the teen easily and told him they were going on a walk. They walked away from the hustle and bustle of the village Naruto talking excitedly about catching a fish with his bare hands.

"Naruto." Iruka started cautiously, causing Naruto to look back in concern. "I think you already had a little chat with Kakashi about this… but Kakashi and I… We well… We really like one another."

Naruto smiled, turning around to face the two men, who were now holding hands. "Yea. I know. I'm not the smartest but I'm not blind."

Iruka's mouth was hanging open in shock at the blunt and clearly not bothered statement.

"So it doesn't upset you. That Kakashi and I are both males?" he gave a slight squeeze to Kakashi's hand for support.

"Well as long as you two are happy it's none of my business. Maybe Kakashi won't be such a jerk now."

"Fat chance blondie." Kakashi confirmed, his eyes smiling as Naruto rolled his eyes.

"Hay! Does that mean you get to see his face! Come on tell me Iruka-sensei! Does he really have buck teeth? Or fish lips? Come onnnnnn!"

Iruka merely smiled at Kakashi, chuckling as Naruto practically skipped ahead of them, making up all sorts of ridiculous ideas of what Kakashi was hiding.

"Maybe something has developed. I suggest you come to my place and thoroughly inspect it. Maybe other parts of me have suddenly developed scales, so clearly we need to do a head to toe inspection, sensei."

Iruka chuckled again, punching Kakashi in the arm as they followed Naruto down the hill. "Pervert."
