Author's Note: I can honestly say that this story quickly draws near to the end of where I want it for this book. I know this has been a journey but I just want to make sure that I give you all of the important information in this book before I even go in to the second phase for this plot. This chapter is a little longer than the usual but it still is good.
Thanks for your patience,

The Professor lazily ventures up the flight of steps that lead him to the hall that houses his daughters' respective bedroom.
'I wonder if they are up this morning.' He inwardly wonders to himself when a light blue and lime green streak of light rapidly pass him in the hallway.
Two out of his three daughters were now present in the kitchen as they start to prepare them a bowl of cereal for breakfast.
'There's Bubbles and Buttercup…' The older man absentmindedly notes who were in the kitchen before he immediately straightens up his stance.
'Wait a minute…' The Professor weighs to himself before he casts his gaze over the second floor rail to see exactly, which two were in the kitchen.
'I must be dreaming.' He astonishingly assumes as his sights narrow in on his raven haired daughter at the table.
'Buttercup's up this early in the morning. Then that means that…' He then redirects his gaze back toward the girls' hallway.
He strides to a pink door, as a sign with "Blossom" name in a black bold New Times Roman typeface, dangles in front of it.
'This isn't like Blossom to still be asleep at this hour.' The Professor mentally claims in disbelief of his usually responsible daughter's uncharacteristic action.
He gently knocks on the door with no immediate answer of "Come in" to follow.
The Professor then reaches for the door's handle, discovers it unlock, twists the knob and leans against the doorframe. He crosses over the threshold of Blossom's door to see that his daughter was fast asleep in her bedroom.
"Blossom…wake up dear, it's time for you to get ready for school." He softly reminds her while he gently shakes his daughter's shoulder.
Blossom was slow to arouse from her sleep and rubs her eyes with the side of one of her hands.
"What time is it?" She drowsingly mutters after she returns her hand to the side of her body to search for her alarm clock.
The Professor twists around, clutches the circular red alarm clock, and displays it to her.
"Oh my goodness…" Blossom piercingly screams before she rapidly tosses her covers away from her body, leaps out of her bed, and dashes to the bathroom.
'Now that's my Blossom…' The Professor mentally noted as he merely observed his daughter's rushed actions to get ready for school.
At the same time in the Utonuim's kitchen, the other two sisters sit at the table and consume their own morning meal.
"So are you ready for the last day of Sports Fest?" Bubbles curiously poses to Buttercup, who sits in front of her.
Buttercup nods her head "yes" as she chews and swallows her bowl of cereal. "Today's the infamous chariot race and I can't wait to knock someone straight off of their horse!"
"This is one of my favorite days out of the week. I wonder how the rankings will hold up after today." The blonde mentions to her sister.
"…with Mr. Matura's class taking the first place trophy for our grade level!" The raven haired teen boldly declares with her spoon in her mouth after her fists sharply jabs the air.
"I so totally agree." Bubbles hapily chimes in agreement before they clink their bowls together and down the leftover milk.
"Ah! That was good." Buttercup comments after she wipes her lips off with the back part of her hand.
The sound of a chair scraps along the marble floor of the kitchen catches the two's attention.
"So glad you could finally join us for breakfast, Blossom! How you feel this morning?" Buttercup jokes as a greeting to her orange haired sister.
"I'm fine." Blossom simply responds while she grabs her an empty bowl, the cereal box, and the milk jug.
Bubbles and Buttercup exchange a glance at each other then nod their heads up and down.
'We will have to see how the rest of the day plays out before we follow through with the plans.' Buttercup inwardly contemplates.
'I wonder what Midori is doing right now.' She ponders about one of their closes friends.

'Good. I have fifteen minutes left.' Midori deems while she peeks at her digital clock and steps in to a pair of dark washed jeans.
'I'm glad. I decided to get dressed first.' She notes as she now slides her sock clad feet in a pair of dark green high top Converse tennis shoes.
The red head then shuffles over to her personal bathroom so she can execute her morning routine of: brushing her teeth, washing her face and brushing her long red mane.
The sound of knocks at her window breaks her concentration on her hair as she walks out of the bathroom to check out what causes the noises.
Drake eagerly waves his hand once he finally spots her eyes in his direction and cheerfully proclaims, "Hello there!", which promptly scares Midori in the process.
"Drake, what are you doing here?!" She breathlessly inquires after she eventually gains her composure from Drake's sudden presence in her tree.
He merely raises a brown paper bag along with two white cups in a brown cardboard, which had, "Be Careful: HOT JAVA".
Midori treads over to the window, undo the latch, yanks it inward, and steps back so Drake can step inside of her room.
"I thought that you would be in a rush and not enjoy the food if you were in car. So…I thought why not eat it in your room?" The brunette explains the reason why he was outside of her window and in her tree.
"How did you get up here on the second story with both of your hands full?" She curiously asks him on how he was able to accomplish an impossible feat.
"If I were to answer your question then you would have to pay with your life." He conveys in a solemn tone, which includes a deadpan expression plaster on his face.
Her facial expression shifts from curious to one of fear, which he quickly counters with "Just kidding!"
"Come on lighten up a little Midori…I promise I won't bite." The brunette attempts to lighten the mood between the two of them.
Midori simply rolls her eyes before she locates a chair for him to sit in and instructs, "Here…have a seat."
"You know…I thought you would've had more teddy bears, unicorns, or Barbies lying around in your room." The teenage boy comments as he closely inspects her bedroom.
She raises one of her eyebrows after she processes Drake's comment, "…and exactly what does that suppose to mean?"
"Oh it means nothing at all..." He quickly mentions with both of his hands up, "…You know it just says a lot about you too."
"Alright then Mr. Interior Design Consultant fire away with your diagnosis." Midori promptly challenges the young male in front of her.
"With pleasure…" He confidently accepts her challenge.
Drake casually rolls himself over to her desk, "You definitely like to keep your things in order. Plus, you even have a planner on your desk with events written on it."
He then pushes himself over toward her wall and comments, "You like to collect art. It appears that you even drew some of these yourself."
Drake pedals over toward her bed, "You don't have a lot of pillows that covers your headboard. The cover is cotton…" He tugs on the cover, "oh and you even have silk sheets!"
"I would like to render my verdict, your Honkr." He abruptly broadcasts to her as it catches her attention. "…and what is it?"
"You, my dear Midori, like to keep things simple yet you aren't fully minimalistic. There are some hidden treasure that from the look of things, you tend to keep surprises...good ones at that. You take an interest in drawing, which explains why you were so concern with your wrist. An artist's hands are irreplaceable to them." Drake concludes his report.
"So did I get it right?" He quickly questions with a hopeful expression on his face.
"Just give me my food and coffee!" Midori hastily proclaims while she swiftly reaches out for the bag and her cup of coffee.
'I guess I hit the hammer on the nail then.' Drake proudly assumes with a small smile present on his face when he grabs his cup of coffee.

"Hey are you three dressed, yet? Breakfast is done!" Serena loudly hollers after she places some scrambled eggs on three separate pieces of toast.
The sight of her three dependents fully clothed made their way toward the kitchen.
"Good morning" were exchanged among the four individuals before Serena moved to place the hot pan underneath the cold water from the sink faucet.
Steam sizzles from the pan when Butch asks her a question, "Are you going to be at the school today?"
"Yeah, apparently they needed a lot of people to volunteer today for the event." She replies before she leaves the pan inside of the sink.
"Oh, so do you know what the event is for today?" Boomer curiously poses to Serena with a hopeful expression present on his face.
She faced them with a serious expression on her face while her index finger was pursed over her lips and declared, "It's a secret."
Butch merely ignores his sister's childlike action and asks her, "Are you going to ride with us or are you going to catch the bus today?"
"I think I'll just drop you all off at school. I have to pick something up first." Serena responds after she stands in front of Butch before she cuts her eyes over to Brick.
"Brick, you're awfully quiet this morning. Is there something wrong?" She inquisitively inquires as she watches for his reaction.
"Nope, just eating," He simply claims after he breaks from his food and peers up at her face.
Butch notes the current expression present on his sister, Serena's face.
"If you don't hurry up with your breakfast then you will be left." He chimes in while he deliberately hits Brick's on his shoulders with his hand.
"If you say so," Serena replies in disbelief but decides to hold off on her real opinion.

Bell quickly drives up to a rather modest two story residence before she eventually honks her horn from the curbside.
'If he isn't out here in three seconds then I'm leaving him.' She calmly considers while she peers over at her radio to read the time.
'Ugh…' The platinum blonde turns the key to crank up her ignition, reaches for the stick and was about to shift her car in to drive.
"Wait a minute Bell! Don't leave!" Flash's voice could be heard from outside of her car's window.
Bell cuts her gaze to her right to see him with one of his arms outstretched with that same arm through one jacket sleeve and a piece of toast in his other hand.
"Thanks for picking me up Bell," Flash was thanking her after opening the unlock passenger door.
Bell merely rolls her eyes before she reminds him, "Look…if you don't hurry up, you're going to make me late!"
Flash easily devours the toast in two or three bites, fully sticks his other arm inside of his Varsity Leatherman jacket and slings the seatbelt across his body.
"I'll chip in some gas money if you want." Flash genuinely offers after she drives away from the curbside of his home.
"You were on the way to school so it's no cost, besides I don't really have to go too far." Bell quickly states as she punches the gas.
'Maybe Bell has a shred of humanity in her.' Flash thought to himself after he hears Bell's statement.
"Move out of my way!" She angrily shouts once she sticks her head outside of her driver's side of the window. "People can't drive anywhere nowadays."
'And then she's back again.' He thoughtfully deems to himself with a small smile present on his face after he observes her true nature.
He casually leans back in to the comforts of the passenger seat and directs his attention to the scenery on his left.
His thoughts soon travel to a certain orange haired, pink eyed female, 'I hope Blossom is well enough to come back to school today.'
Flash releases a sigh as he closes his eyes in the process and allows his mind to continue to wonder about what the day would hold for him.

Pokey Oaks High parking lot was filling up with not just the faculty and staff's cars but the students' vehicles, who attend the school as well.
Buttercup's green Camaro, Bell's white Lexus, and an orange Mustang GTO veer in to their respective spaces while Drake's black Challenger Rallye Redline RWD with a red racing stripe parks behind random cars.
"I'll pick you up this afternoon." Drake mentions to his passenger after she emerges from his car.
Midori nods her head to show that she hears his statement before she thanks him, "Thanks for breakfast too, Drake. You didn't have to do that."
He waves his hand downward at her when he accepts her thanks, "It's no problem! I had time to kill this morning."
"Just go to class…on time." She expressed in a stern tone coupled with a grave expression present on her face.
"Alrighty then mom just as long you don't acquire another injury." Drake pitches his side of the deal to Midori.
"Deal," She agrees with the brunette haired boy's wager before she leans away from the passenger side door and waves him off.
"Good morning, Midori." Buttercup politely greets her close friend with a smirk on her face when she faces Bubbles to ask her, "By any chance, do you believe that that was Drake Pierce we saw?"
"Why I do believe that was just him, Buttercup." Bubbles eagerly confirms with a similar expression as her raven haired sister.
"Blossom, please tell you sisters to leave me alone with their teasing." Midori suggests toward the orange haired girl in the group.
She soon received a deadpan expression that made the deceased cats in Biology lab that they dissected resembled a toddler, who naturally mimiced their parents' actions.
"Uhm...I guess that is a no then." Midori nervously assumes after the fiasco abruptly ends after Blossom's grave expression.
"Don't pay her any mind. She's been off this whole week so try not to let her get you too down." Bubbles reasons with her as an attempt to distract her from her sister's sullen vibe.
"Hello ladies," Butch's voice greets them as they whirl their head in the direction of the source to see him with Brick and Boomer in tow.
"What are you four gossiping about? I know it was about me." He teasingly inquires once they approach the girls when Buttercup coolly retorts, "No one's gossiping about you."
Their conversation signal to the other siblings and friend of both respective parties to provide the pair with their personal space.
"Boomie" "Bubs" The blonde couple lovingly greets each other with a hug before Boomer presses his lips against her cheek, which causes her to brightly blush.
"I think I should head to my locker." Midori says to no one in particular as she leaves Brick and Blossom to each other.
Brick casts his sights from the busy courtyard pack with his fellow students at Pokey Oaks High to the one that props her body against her sister's green car.
'She looks as if she didn't get enough sleep.' He inwardly analyzes while he brings his hands to his side.
His consciousness voices to its owner, 'You aren't going to make any progress with her if you just keep quiet and not say something to her.'
Brick then deeply exhales a sigh from his lips as he makes his way over toward where Blossom currently stands.
Flash surfaces from the passenger side of Bell's Lexus while she carefully touches up her makeup in her driver's mirror. He then scopes out the parking lot until his eyes land on a particular car model and color before he canters over in the car direction.
Blossom's sensitive ears was picking up the sound of footsteps approach her when she frustratingly voices, "I'm not in the mood to be…"
"Well hello to you too stranger." Brick jokingly interjects after he witnesses her expresses her hostility toward him.
She was poise to response when the sight of a blonde male entered her field of vision right before he called out her name.
Flash's jovial expression of seeing his girlfriend was coming to a screeching halt after realizing who was with her.
"This won't end well." Blossom overhears what Brick mutters once she rotates her head to see Flash a few feet away from them.
"Blossom," He addreses her before he finishes, "What's going on?"
The pair did not supply an immediate answer to the blonde's question, which prompts him to direct his fury on to the male. "And you…didn't I tell you what would happen if you ever got close to her?"
'As if I would heed your petty threats,' Brick annouingly grumbles instead it comes out as, "I'll see you later Blossom. My brother is calling for me."
"Okay then," She agrees as he unwillingly separates himself from the two "lovebirds" in order to prevent any pointless confrontation between him and Flash.
"Yeah, you better go on and walk away!" He boastfully claims once Brick was well out of his earshot before he completely focuses his attention on to his girlfriend.
"Blossom, I don't want you to ever talk to Brick Shaw." The blonde sternly asserts as he firmly grabs her arm while he forces her to directly look at him. "Remember what I told you about him on the school's rooftop."
She merely snatches her arm from within his grasps and jaws, "I do remember but for crying out loud the boy is in my homeroom!"
"That doesn't mean you have to talk to him! I mean there are people in my homeroom that I don't even talk too!" Flash remarks as he narrows his sights in on his girlfriend.
"You want to know the reason why I haven't been acting like myself lately Flash?" Blossom rhetorically poses to him before she reminds him of her stance toward him, "It's because I don't want my sisters and I secret to be revealed to the school."
"Are you claiming that I'm the one that is blackmailing you now?" He questions with a shake of his head before he adds, "You're quite pathetic, you know that right?"
"I don't even see how you and Buttercup are even related to each other." Flash adds in with a chuckle at the orange haired girl in front of him.
"Are you calling me a disappointment, Flash?" Blossom infers from his statements.
"Yes, yes I am, but before you do anything else rash let me refresh your memory that we do have a deal with one another." He confirms that her thought were correct.
At that moment, she felt as if someone seized her tongue from her mouth, severed it with a knife and trampled over the appendage.
"Now straighten up…" The blonde orders her while he slings his arm around her shoulders, "we do have to play the role of Pokey Oaks most popular couple."
"Do you know how many girls envy your position as my girlfriend?"
"Apparently I don't…" Blossom utters to herself after she rolls her eyes at Flash's cocky attitude.
'I just hope my sister will confront me about my change in personality so I can tell them why. Hopefully, Bubbles can realize it first or maybe even Brick.'

Mr. Matura dutifully watches his students enter within his classroom with mild conversation as they neatly write their names on a sign-in sheet attach to a clipboard.
"Good morning ladies and gentlemen!" He politely greets them, which they follow up with a response of "Good morning!"
"We finally made it to the last day of Sports Fest," Mr. Matura happily broadcasts to his class. "As you all know that today, we have our famous chariot race as the final event in the Sports Festival."
"I took the liberty this morning to write out the list of girls' names in our class on this board." He excitingly explains while he gestures to the left and then to the right, "You will see three lines that branch out from each girl's names."
"Please sign up for the one you want to be your rider. Once that is done, we will discuss strategy afterwards."
A wave of silence eventually washes over Mr. Matura's class as the boys quietly peruse their options before they abruptly break out in to a mad stampede toward the board.
Mr. Matura casually reaches underneath his desk, yanks on a brown cubical package box, and withdraws the flaps backward.
"Ladies," He calls for the girls' attention before he discloses to them, "While the boys sign up for their riders, these are our class respective color headbands and shirts that you all will wear for today's event.
"Come on up, grab a shirt, go to the restroom, put it on and head back to the classroom." Mr. Matura instructs them while the girls calmly form a line in front of his desk, specifically select their respective size, and quietly head to the restroom.
"Fellas, stop pushing! There are enough slots for everyone's name to fill!" He coolly bellows after he watches the boys roughly shove each other out the way so they can acquire the marker.
4444
"Did you see how the boys were shoving each other out of the way just to get to that board?" Midori jokingly revels as she stifles her giggles with one of her hands.
"I just hope I'm not stuck with any weaklings as my horse. I'm trying to win and be the last one standing." Buttercup sternly mentions while she bunches her shirt until she reaches the hole in the middle.
"I hope that Boomer writes his name by mine." Bubbles hopefully utters while she sticks her head through the hole of her orange t-shirt.
Blossom silently watches her two sisters and Midori cheerfully converse with each other as if they did not acknowledge her presence. 'It's as if I'm not even here.'
"What do you think, Blossom?" Midori's question suddenly breaks her out of her thoughts.
"About what?" She poses with an apparent expression of confusion on her face when she directs her question to her close friend.
Bubbles was desperately managing to prevent her smile from transforming in to a frown after noticing the daze expression on Blossom's face.
Midori merely raises an eyebrow at the orange haired girl in the group before she repeats her question, "What do you think about Bubbles and Boomer's relationship?"
Luckily for Blossom, Bell and her Barbies strutted inside of the same girls' restroom that her sisters, Midori and their other classmates used to change in to their uniforms for the race.
"Now look at what we have here, why if it isn't the Powderpuff Girls and their lackey Midori." Bell lips once she eventually spots the sisters and their close friend.
"It's Power-puff Girls you idiot." Buttercup promptly corrects the platinum blonde once her head emerges from the center of her orange shirt and asks, "What are you trying to get at Bell?"
"That you three are nothing more than pathetic washed up heroes, who are out of the job." She retorts with a dramatic gesture of one her hands.
Buttercup unexpectedly burst out in a fit of laughter at the girl as it instantly captures the others' attention.
She wipes a tear that forms in the corner of her eye with her right index finger before she comments, "I'm kinda glad that you remembered us then. For a couple of years now, I thought we became some sort of urban legend but it is good to know that we at least still have a believer."
Bell rolls her eyes at the raven haired girl, which causes her to retort, "I don't think so Butter. Besides, I didn't come here to throw down with you. I just came to change in to our t-shirts."
"Oh and my dear Buttercup," She coyly voices prior to Buttercup and her group begin their departure, "I never got to tell you how pretty your bathing suit was at my pool party."
Her compliment causes Bubbles and Blossom to tense up as their sister merely counters with, "As if I care about your opinion."
'How can she even remember anything from that night, especially after Buttercup obliterated her to ashes?!' The two sisters share similar thoughts about the girl's comment
Bell flashes a wide smile on her face as she relishes in some of the success that her well thought out plan produces for her.
"I wonder what her problem is this morning." Midori verbalizes while the girls venture back to their homeroom.
Meanwhile...
Mr. Matura closely studies the board in front of him as his eyes carefully scan over the student's name visibly written on the whiteboard.
After he mentally executes any possible strategies, he secures two Expo markers and proceeds to label the horse and its rider as decoys or pursuits.
Some movement from his right captures his attention as the sight of his female homeroom students cross the threshold of the door.
He briefly breaks his focus away from the names on the board and promptly orders, "Ladies, please stop right there."
The girls speedily file in the room while Buttercup tucks her arms underneath her chest and wonders out loud, "Are you going to tell us what for?"
"Ladies, for the sake of any strategic planning you have to establish what groups are suitable for what job." Mr. Matura speaks up before he proceeds with his explanation, "I will each give you either a "D" or a "P". So please try to remember which letter you are assigned. If you are told that you are a letter "D" please sit on the right and for the letter "P" please sit on the left."
"D", "D", "P", "P", "P", "and D". He points to one girl at time as he issues out the letters that they were assign to, except for Blossom.
"Blossom, stay by me for a few minutes." Mr. Matura eventually mentions as the girls shuffle over to their respective sides of the room.
