JUST SO WE ARE CLEAR! I got the factor and the simulation confused. No biggie. RIGHT?

Read the damned author's note.

When I walked in, I saw a newspaper on Tris' and my bed. I walked to my bed and picked it up instantly, noticing the word 'Abnegation'.

The mass exodus of the children of Abnegation leaders cannot be ignored or contributed to a coincidence. The recent transfer of Beatrice and Caleb Prior, the children od Andrew Prior, calls into question the soundness of Abnegation values and teachings.

I am beyond shocked when I read the first two sentences.

Why else would the children of such an important man decide that the lifestyle he has set out for them is not an admirable one? Molly Atwood, a fellow Dauntless transfer, suggests a disturbing upbringing that might be to blame.

As if on cue, Molly walks into the dorm.

"You." I said angrily, shoving the newspaper into her face. "What is this?"

She smirked at me. "I'm guessing an article about your Stiff's coming here."

And just like in the simulation, I pushed her into nothing, making her fall. The smirk disappeared and she quickly regained her posture. She closed the door to the dorm. "I'm so sorry, Peter." She muttered under her breath.

"I've missed you so much, Pete." She started, looking at my with glistening eyes. "You have no idea." She said staring at the floor.

For a moment, I feel guilty. I let the article drop to the floor and hugged Molly. She shook quietly with tears and made a loud snorkel. I smiled to myself.

Molly was disgusting, and mean, and selfish...but so was I.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and I held her tighter.

"I thought..." She started again. "That she w-would take you away f-from me."

And now I felt guilt more than anything else in the moment.

When was the last time we hung out? It was stage two of initiation and we've only been here for a few days.

I comb through her hair with my hands.

She sniffled some, like she was trying to stop crying, and looked up at me, not releasing her arms from around my neck. I didn't move my hands from around her back.

"You mean just as much to me as Tris does." I say, giving her a squeeze. "I could never let anyone replace you." I say, wiping a tear off of her cheek with my thumb and holding her chin in my hand

Molly was my true sister. I would give up Alzas any day for Molly. I only thought of Alzas as a poor substitute for Molly, something that she could never pull off.

Molly smiled at me, right before two more initiates came in.

Will and Christina.

As soon as Christina saw our position, she gasped and pointed a finger at us.

"Tris..." She said, going back down the hall. My eyes widened as I realized what me and Molly must have looked like.

I broke away from Molly and chased after Christina.

"Christina wait!" I yelled at her, the obvious begging in my voice.

I tackled her before she reached the end of the hallway. The other initiates seemed to pay no mind.

Christina groans loudly and I get off of her so that she can get up. I offer my hand but she waves me off and picks herself up.

"What happened back there," I said, pointing to the dorm. "Was nothing."

She shot me a glare, folding her arms in an accusing way, the night she did when there was a knife in Edward's eye. "I always knew you would do this to her." She said, flipping her hair to the side.

"Nothing happened!" I yelled at her. And this time every head turned toward me.

I looked through pool of initiates and looked for Tris.

"In the simulation." She answered, rolling her eyes. "Just wait 'till she gets out though." She said daring to take a step closer.

Through clenched teeth, I hissed in her ear.

"I didn't kiss Molly, if that's what you were worried about, bitch."

She shoved my chest, not budging you at all.

"That what was going on then, huh?" She hissed back. "Enlighten me."

I saw the door open as Tris walked out of the simulation, looking like she had been crying.

When she saw me, she immediately brightened up. "Hey!" She said, running into me and giving me a quick peck on the cheek.

"Ahem." Christina says, getting ready to start a riot. "Peter was up to some interesting things with Molly when you were-"

I interrupted her. "Shut. Up. Christina." I spit at her. I could feel Tris' eyes on me before I turned to her. I took her hand. "Nothing happened."

"Liar!" Christina yelled at me, balling her hands into fists.

And as always, everyone's eyes were on us.

Tris pulled her arm away, and looked into my eyes.

"Did you kiss?" She asked, hurt evident in her orbs.

"No." I said, brushing circles in her cheek.

She smiled at me, taking my hand back.

And then Christina had to say something.

"He held her chin. Like he was about too." She said.

Tris' smile faltered, and she let go of my hand once again.

"This isn't true right?" She asked, baking away.

I pulled her back towards me, tucking a stray hair and tucking it behind her ear.

I opened my mouth, but it shut again. I tried opening it again, I tried to get something out of it. And when I did, it came out in a hoarse whisper, and sounding terrible.

"It didn't mean anything."

This gave her the wrong idea, I meant to say that me holding her chin meant nothing. That I thought of Molly like a sister.

So much for trying to convince her we did not kiss.

Just like in the simulation, she slapped me on the cheek hard. It hurt a lot more than a tingling. It felt like my cheek was on fire.

Tears were spilling over her cheeks, and she took uneven breaths before running away to the dorm.

And I was positive that even Four was watching everything go down.

Next chapter will be the chasm scene. I hope you'll like it. It was inspired by a very awesome person! :D
