"I'm sorry."

Two words, eight letters, that was all it took to win back my love. I knew it would after all, I was irresistible. She fell right back into my arms, crying and everything.

Oh! I forgot, this is all a fucking dream.

Tris still hates me, I still love her, Eric's still dead, and Christina's still an asshole.

Who does she think she is anyway? Because of her I can call Tris my ex. I've hated that word ever since Winter. (My ex not the season.) Ugh. Let's not even get on the topic of her. I'm sure even her parents dislike her. She could have visited me when my father and Alzas did, her being factionless and all. I would have loved to show off Tris. But of course, we're back to Christina.

The reason I'm even reminded of Winter.

"Hey there."

I immediately picked my head up, my neck aching in doing so. When I look up I see the smiling face of my best friend Molly. She sits next to me on the cold bench of the hallway of the second stage of initiation. Her hair was tied back with a black tank top and sweatpants. Her smile slowly falls off of her face and is replaced with a look of pity. No doubt she didn't miss the argument that went down yesterday. I instantly looked away from her. I could feel the stinging in my eyes begin.

"Peter." My name is called not by Molly, but a much more dreaded voice.

Four's.

It was time for my next test.

After Test. (Sorry I had to skip it!)

When I got out of the test, I wasn't surprised to see what I saw. Four looking at me like I was a unicorn.

"I won't ask." He said, slightly smirking. "I also meant to ask you something." He said, his expression quickly changing to a serious one. He looked me straight in the eye and came closer to the chair that I was seated in. "Did you notice how..." He paused in the middle of his sentence, to calm his breathing.

"Eric did not wake you up this morning."

I stopped breathing. My heart stopped for less than a second. When it came back, I was sure it was trying to leap out of my chest. My lips did not seem to be working. I wanted to reply but they would not let me. My stomach dropped onto my feet and my palms became sweaty. "I-I.." My hand made it's way to the back of my head. I couldn't look Four in the eye anymore without squirming. I was in deep trouble. "Earlier this morning his body was found in the chasm." He explained.

"Say it." He said, grabbing the back of her neck and forcing her to look at the wild waves.

He wouldn't actually drown her right? All signs would point to him and Four.

He pushed her upper body over the railing and the screams got louder.

My next move is based on nothing but anger.

My fingers start to shake as my breathing become heavy and noticeable. "If you have any information on it report it to our staff." He said placing a hand on my shoulder. I shuddered as he did so and managed to nod due to word shortage. I stepped out of the chair and exited the room.

Dinner. Sorry about skipping again! I love this scene!

"Tris!" I call out hoping to catch her attention. She turns around from the table she's sitting at to look at me. Almost as quickly as she does, she turns right back around to face Christina. I walk up to her table hoping to speak with her. Christina had other ideas. "Hold up," She said standing up from the table and pushing me back with her hand. "Why are you here?"

Al stood up from the table, next to Christina, grimacing at me. "I need to speak with Tris." I said.

Al grimaces even harder if possible. "I think you've hurt her enough." Now it's time for me to grimace at him. I look him up and down. "This is none of your business." I say. The room got silent. I pushed Al out of the way and reached for Tris's arm. Christina saw me and grabbed my arm before I could. I didn't pull back but I also didn't look away from Tris.

"You promised you wouldn't stall." I said looking her straight in the eye. "Come on., please." Tris breathed heavily before standing up. "Let him go." She told Christina.

"Are you serious?" She asked, a confused expression on her face. Tris nodded, signaling Al and Christina to move. Will finally stood up and grabbed Tris's arm. He shook his head no in disappointment. "You're better than this."

I got jealous after seeing him touch her.

"Let go, Will!" She growled, yanking her arm back. He gave her a shocked look and released her arm. Al and Christina seemed more surprised. I grabbed her arm and pulled her upstairs to the dorm before any question were asked.

When we reached the dorms, I was surprised to see that I was not the one to close the door. "If you like her-" I interrupted her by placing my pointer finger onto her lips. I looked her in the eye. "I don't love Molly the way I love you." I explained, grabbing her hands in mine. "I love you."

She looked away. "I love you." I repeated.

"Stop it." She said, slightly blushing.

"I love you."

"Stop it."

"I love you." This made her giggle slightly. I smiled, pulling her closer. "I love you." She looked at the floor.

I picked up her chin, just as I did with Molly, forcing her too look at me. I pecked on the lips and smiled. "I love you."

And this time, she said it back. I smiled down at her.

Her smile turned serious. "Do you mean really? Or just want forgiveness?"

"I mean it."

I felt like the luckiest guy on earth. It felt good, to hold and kiss her again.

I had to ask.

"Does this mean we're..."

"Mhhm," She replied smiling brightly. "Tell nobody this time." She said, a serious expression on her face. "I don't want us to be over that quickly again."

I nodded in agreement, not wanting to take the chance of losing her again. "Of course, baby."
