I was in a mood. (Yay horses!)
A Home in the Countryside
"Kurt, come look at this one! Oh, it's so pretty," sighs Blaine, looking into one of the stalls, pointing at a dark colored Thoroughbred that stares back at him, lazily chewing on his hay.
Kurt comes up behind him and looks over his shoulder at the stunning, huge horse. "It's beautiful."
"Ugh, I desperately want a horse," Blaine says longingly, reaching out to pet the horse; it leans forward to smell Blaine's fingers and lick his palm, and when it finds no treats it ducks back to his pile of hay.
"When we're rich and living in the countryside, I promise you'll have a horse," Kurt says, putting his hands on Blaine's waist.
"I didn't know you wanted to move to the countryside," says Blaine, smiling at him.
"Well, you want a horse, don't you? I don't think a horse would like living in the city," Kurt grins and kisses him lightly. "Besides, I don't want to stay in New York forever. When we're older, we'll need a quieter place."
Blaine's stomach clenches pleasantly, like it always does when Kurt talk about future. "Mmm, do you plan on losing your youthful vigor?" he teases; Kurt sticks out his tongue at him and kisses him again.
They part, and Blaine glances at the horse again. It's gazing at him with a clever, knowing look; or maybe, it's wondering just if the visitors will eventually bring some sugar cubes.
