The finale...oh. Well, at least Chris gets arrested at the end! Thanks for reviewing, AvrilLavigneFan2001 and Ali6132 (yes, All-Stars will have Shannon).

The day of the finale, we were given a particular spot at the peanut gallery. Each of us had to sit with our originally assigned team, so I sat between Zoey (who had recently started spending time with no one but Mike) and Anne Maria in the higher row, while the original Toxic Rats sat in the lower row. Even further down was Scott in the trauma chair.

Since the finalists were from different teams, the six of us were basically assigned to root for Cameron, which was just fine with me.

"What happened to Scott?" Cameron asked. Chris explained, and talked about the lights.

Scott's red light flashed.

"Is that a yes or a no?" Cameron asked

"No idea!" Chris said brightly. "But does anyone really care? It's Scott!" That made all of us laugh at least a little bit, especially those he got eliminated. But I felt a little sorry for him when I heard the sound of a tear splashing onto the metal of the machine.

"Um, Chris?" I said. "I care. You go wayyyy too far with this thing. Now if that was Alejandro there, I'd probably be okay with it. But Scott owes me a few sentences once he recovers!"

Chris threatened to set Fang on us if we didn't cheer for anyone, simply because Jo was going to refuse.

The challenge was a...gladiator fight? Oh, and they had to make armour and weapons first. I was ready to start praying by this time, because I knew perfectly well who had the advantage, and it wasn't Cam.

Up at the top, most of us cheered for Cameron, but it was hard to watch, really. Mike, Zoey and I were always seconds away from covering our eyes, while Lightning wasn't doing too badly. At least, until Cameron got hold of a computer and toxic marshmallow.

Finally, Chris called "Time's up!"

"Ugh, it feels so wrong to cheer for Lightning." Sam commented. "I always cheer for the underdog, but the only underdog here is Cam. I mean, look at him."

Cameron certainly looked helpless compared to his opponent. A tartan suitcase lay beside him, while he just stood their, eyes downcast.

"Nice suitcase!" Lightning mocked. "Is Cammy-bear running home to Mommy?"

"Nope!" Cameron suddenly replied, with a little snicker. "That's your job!" He kicked the suitcase open, and suddenly, a metallic suit covered Cameron. It looked like him, but taller and stronger and much, much tougher.

"Game on!"

I cheered like crazy. "Go Cam! Go Cam!" Pretty much all of us were cheering for him, and even Lightning started stuttering a little as he told his opponent how he was going to crush him so much, "You'll be like 'which way is up'!"

"That doesn't really make sense." The armour tilted its head slightly.

The winner just had to pin their opponent for three seconds to win. Oh, and Chris was going to release a few obstacles into the ring when he felt like it.

Cameron's armour was also his weapon, but then the fire-breathing cockroach attacked him.

"Duck, duck, jump, punch!" Sam advised him.

Dakota glared at him. "You supposed to be rooting for Lightning!"

"They keep swapping underdog status. It's confusing."

A ton happened, and I don't even remember the fight between Lightning and Cameron, just the other stuff. The obstacles kept going after Cameron, like the mutant alligator.

"Oh! I can't watch!" Zoey closed her eyes.

"You really should." Chris told her. "The ratings on this are gonna be crazy."

I glared at him. "Do you mind? My boyfriend is close to death and you don't even care!"

But Cameron struck back and Lightning got attacked a few times. Soon, he was on the ground.

Cameron walked back to him. "Are you okay?" he asked sincerely.

"Cam, pin him, pin him!" Mike called out.

"Oh yeah!" But Lightning was already up by then. Then Chris' remote got blasted and released...Larry, some blind gophers, a couple of other monsters, and Ezekiel. All of us ran for it, except Anne Maria, who didn't get out of the way in time. By the time most of us were hidden, Ezekiel was trying to get a kiss from her. Needless to say, she didn't take it well.

Cameron actually saved her by grabbing Lightning's weapon and knocking Zeke out. Then Larry had to rescue Chris from the gophers.

Dakota fought a giant turtle when it started to crush Sam, and Dawn looked lost for ideas when the monster tree grabbed B in one tentacle and started punching him in the kiwis with the other.

Larry tried eating a babbing Staci. Oh well, at least it shut her up. Cameron saved her by hitting Larry's weak spot, and then it was time to fight again.

Cameron's armour suddenly stopped moving, but he turned Lightning into a magnet. And the guy was even struck by lightning, which turned his hair white. Lightning struck by lightning...never thought that would be a cool pun. After that, Cameron managed to pin him, and we cheered. Once he was out of the robotic suit, I almost knocked him over with a hug.

Soon, we were all in a boat, waiting for Chef to take us home.

"So," Anne Maria said eagerly, eying the suitcase, "What are you gonna spend it on first? Hair or shoes, because both need a lot of work!"

"Didn't you hear – he needs the money to pump up his bubble!" Sam reminded her.

"Well, I was going to use it to heal my shattered body, but after surviving without any crippling injuries, I don't need to go back to my bubble ever again!"

No one was happier than I was to hear that.

"And," Cameron continued, "I couldn't have done it without all of you, so I'm gonna spend it all on you guys instead!"

No way had I expected that! I should have, though. I had to be one of the luckiest people ever.

"Hello, world's biggest televison and every game system in existence!" Sam exclaimed.

"I can finally open my dream gym!" grinned Jo.

"Fashion school, here I come!" cheered Brick. We all stared at him. "Yeah, you heard me."

As for the ending...well...as Chef drove us away, we saw the RCMP coming for Chris. He was finally being arrested for dumping all that toxic waste.

After we got to the dock, I exchanged addresses, phone numbers and emails with Zoey, Mike and Cameron (we actually all lived within three hours of each other, with Zoey being an hour away from me, Cameron an hour and three quarters, and Mike almost three hours). They were the three I wanted to keep in touch with. I also reminded myself to send everyone a Facebook friend request so I didn't forget them. Yeah, even Scott.

Next chapter will include a timeskip!
