YES, once this is finished, I can start on stuff I haven't written before! Thanks for reviewing, Ali6132 and AvrilLavigneFan2001!

The next day, Cameron was trying desperately to fix his broken glasses. Earlier on, I got it out of him that Zoey had told him that Mike had actually tripped him and caused them to get broken – but that it wasn't the real Mike. Cameron's glasses wasn't the only thing that got broken. Sierra's SmartPhone and Sam's Gameguy were crushed earlier on, starting the night after the challenge on the beach. It seemed like apparently, something had been causing Mike to break stuff without him knowing it, ever since the hit on the head.

"So, what is it?" I'd asked. "Another personality or something?"

"Possibly." Cameron had answered. "I'm trying to work it out."

Anyway, we were just sitting at the table. I was eating a kiwifruit while Cameron attempted to fix his glasses. "Don't bother." Courtney advised him as she passed by. "You won't be around long enough for it to matter."

But then, Gwen approached, smiling. "Here, maybe a twist tie would help."

Cameron tried it, and then smiled. "It worked! Thanks!"

I grinned too. "See? You can tell that the team isn't entirely made up of evil people."

But the minute I'd finished speaking, Heather came up and told Cameron "You look nerdier than before. I know it sounds impossible, but here you are doing it, so..."

"Heather, please." Alejandro interjected. "I think that he pulls off a nerdy look with a generous measure of dignified flair."

"It's mostly made up of evil people." Gwen and I muttered in unison. The three of us all walked off to the patio to chill out before the challenge. Well, I went to the confessional first.
"I'm glad Cam's on my team again, but at the same time, I'm kind of worried. I know he's tough, but the rest of the team already thinks he's a weak link. I just hope I can convince them to vote someone else off next time we lose. Or maybe we'll merge soon." I paused. "And I'm worried about what Cameron was telling me about Mike. What's happened to him? Does he have another personality blocking the others or something, one that's breaking stuff, without him even knowing of it? I hope not..."

Of course, Chris came to ruin our morning soon enough. We were all called to the dock. Then Chris announced that we were going on a trip to the "Fun Zone". Of course, Sierra was the only one that cheered.

"What's the catch?" demanded Heather. "Is the Fun Zone just a building that's on fire?"

"Nope!" Chris said brightly.

"Is it a pit full of intestines?" Duncan asked.

"Would that be fun? You've had it kind of rough lately, so I figured – okay, the lawyers figured you deserve a treat. But, it you'd rather do something else..."

"No!" None of us were stupid enough to look a gift horse in the mouth. Either this was a trick, or Chris was really letting us have fun for once. But if we refused it, we'd have to do something equally horrible if the former was true.

"Fun Zone it is!" Chris said brightly. A boat drew up. Scott was already in it, back from exile. Thing is, we were all going back to Boney Island.

"Ugh, I'd forgotten what a dump this island is." muttered Heather.

"Come on, now!" Chris said cheerfully. "Maybe someone will finally find the invincibility statue."

"I searched all night." Scott said, still half-asleep. "There is no statue. Say it!"

"Yes, there is. But it's hidden in the Fun Zone!"

I scowled. "You mean, you've been sending someone here every night, knowing full well that they couldn't get to the statue anyway?"

"That's right, Shannon!" Chris grinned.

"Douche." I muttered under my breath.

The Fun Zone was closed off from the rest of the island, and it still looked toxic. Our challenge was to collect eggs from the mutants and put them in a basket for our team (red for us, gold for "Duncan and the rest of the do-gooders"). The first team to get six eggs won.

Chris only communicated with us via monitor, so we were totally unprotected.

Duncan was getting insecure. When Scott fell asleep and Chris woke him by yelling through a bullhorn, making him freak out and fall over, Duncan started laughing, and said "I find that funny because I'm not a nice person. That's why I laughed. Cause I'm not nice."

Then he went over and helped Scott up, only realizing what he'd done after Scott thanked him.

Sierra grabbed hold of Cameron's arm. "We should look for eggs together!"

"Um, we're on different teams now." Cameron reminded her.

"That doesn't matter! Why would it matter? No, it really doesn't!" Gwen and I each grabbed one of Cameron's arms and rescued him, hearing Sierra's mournful cry echo through the forest.

"CAMODY!"

The three of us found a couple of eggs together, and we got them without too much trouble. When we got back to the basket, Alejandro was guarding the basket from the Heroes, and Heather was putting our second egg in. Cameron and Gwen added ours to the basket. Meanwhile, at the Heroes' basket, Sierra was cooing over a two-headed rat that she'd apparently adopted.

"Phew, I need a break." Heather remarked. "I'll guard the basket for awhile."

"As you wish." Alejandro said serenely, and left.

"Don't get too close." Heather warned the three of us. "Alejandro has everyone convinced to vote off Cameron next, which is tempting..."

"Um, I'm right here." Cameron reminded her.

"But my vote is for Alejandro." Heather finished.

"And why should we trust you?" Cameron challenged.

Heather left, calling over her shoulder "Do what you want, little man, it's your funeral!"

"I thought you were gonna watch the eggs!" Gwen yelled after her.

When I went looking for eggs on my own, I worked out what Heather was up to. She and Alejandro were in an alliance, but she was actually trying to get him voted off by telling everyone to vote him off while they were supposed to be into an alliance. Well, better him than Cameron.

I could tell that they were in an alliance when I heard them talking. There was something Heather said she'd hidden, but I didn't hear what it was. Of course, she didn't tell Alejandro where it was, but I could tell that they were working together, the way they were talking.
"Don't you worry your pretty little head, it's safe." Heather said calmly.

"Okay," Alejandro answered, "I won't worry my 'pretty head'."

"It's an expression." I could tell Heather was irritated, and her voice faded as she walked away. "And I didn't mean it!"

"Oh, wait for me and my pretty head!" Alejandro called after her, following.

"Zip it!"

I chuckled at their "flirting". But sadly, we didn't win. We nearly did, but Zoey and Mike just won for their team when they brought a nest and tipped multiple eggs into their basket (although only Zoey got the reward for collecting the most).

"Now," Chris said, "Before we head home, is there anything anyone left behind, that they'd like to go get?"

This was Heather's cue, but she came back empty-handed and in a real mood. The minute we were out, she marched up to Chris, seething. "You took it!" she accused. "I know you did!"

"I have no idea to what you are referring."
And I believed it when Chris said that. Personally, I'd thought that Alejandro had probably gone back to where he was talking to Heather, and found whatever item it was. After all, she'd been telling him all about it, right?

But what did it matter? We had another elimination to vote on, and after two bonfire ceremonies in the peanut gallery, it felt weird to see the Heroes sitting there. However, I cast my vote (to Heather's liking), and looked forward to the sneaky casanova's downfall.

"I've tallied the votes," Chris said, "And tonight's flushee is...Alejandro."

"HA!" Heather exclaimed.

But Alejandro's expression was calm, and strangely triumphant. "Oh, I do not think I'm leaving."

"Oh yeah? Really?" challenged Heather. "Why is that?"

Alejandro stood up. On his feet. For the first time since I met him. We all gasped.

I spoke up. "You were faking it the whole time?" But my comment was lost under the new set of gasps when he pulled the immunity idol out of his pocket. "I've got diplomatic immunity."

"Just immunity, Alejandro." corrected Chris.

Even if Heather hadn't reacted to this, I would've known that this was the thing she was talking about earlier, and the thing she accused Chris of stealing. As it was, she shot to her feet, too angry to talk coherently. "You...you...you...!"

"Hate to interrupt during such a well thought out argument," Chris teased, "But the only vote that wasn't for Alejandro was for you...you...you. So you are getting flushed."

"NOOOOO!"

I didn't know whether to be happy, disappointed, or neutral. I settled on the third, since on the one hand, Cameron was still here. On the other hand, Alejandro was more of a threat than Heather, and with the merge approaching, he was a major target to vote off.

Mike volunteered to go to exile for his team, and walked off, whistling a tune that felt familiar to me, but I wasn't sure where I heard it. I saw Duncan staring at him, but to be honest, I was more interested in the elimination.

I knew Heather didn't want the team to see her elimination, so I listened in underneath the dock. I could hear Alejandro talking to her. "Now that I have avenged the shame you once caused me, the slate is clean. We can start fresh. After all, we are a perfect couple." Heather must have pushed him into the water, judging by the cry and splash afterwards.

"Let's do this." I heard Heather say, and then she screamed as she was flushed.

That evening, I did some stargazing on the steps again. Cameron joined me.

"Some elimination, huh?" I said. "I mean, I knew the guy was sneaky, but faking an injury? I had no idea anyone would go so far as to walk on their hands for half a season just to make someone feel guilty."

"That was a shock." Cameron admitted. "But, I guess Alejandro did to Heather exactly what she wanted to do to him. Maybe it was fitting that she left this way."

I grinned. "True. You know what I heard Alejandro say to her? That they should start over, and that they were a perfect couple. I wonder if they ever will become a real couple?" I paused. "I think they'd be happy together."

I moved over to kiss Cameron. He immediately returned it, wrapping his arms around me as I reciprocated. Then we went to our separate cabin rooms.

"'Night, Shannon."

"'Night, Cam."

I quite liked this ending. Now, finally, I can start on an episode I didn't already do! Please review.
