Max was gone when I turned around. I sighed when I saw the bathroom door swing shut. I glanced around and saw everyone had found interest in something else and were no longer looking in my direction.

I knew this is probably a stupid idea since it was only my second day here. I pushed the girls bathroom door open anyway. Hopefully Max is the only one in here. She isn't.

Two wide eyed freshman girls stared at me. "Uhh this is the girls bathroom…" Said the blonde one. They both looked me up and down.

I rolled my eyes and walked past them. "Max?" I said softly, "you in here hun?"

The two girls "awwwww-ed" which caused another roll of the eyes from me.

As I neared her stall I could hear her sobs. I turned to the two girls who were still staring at me, "Could you give us some privacy?" I asked, more harshly than intended.

They blushed and hurried out, muttering apologies and saying they hope she feels better.

I rapped lightly on the door, "Maxie, please open the door."

I heard a sniffle and the door cracked open. I pushed through and wrapped Max in a hug.

"Why haven't you reported him yet?" I asked. This guy has caused her so much pain and he is still doing it. Max has been through so much and so have I. We need each other.

She shrugged in answer. "I just- I never thought anyone would believe me. Everyone thinks Dylan's so perfect and they would never believe that he could hurt anyone. Especially me, I'm the 'tough girl' in school, you know?" She started crying again.

"Hey Max, it's okay. I understand. Let's go get you home, okay?" I kissed her forehead and grabbed her hand, leading her out of the stall. "You don't need to be here."

In the office, I explained that she was just having a really rough day and she was on her period- although I had no idea if that was true. The office lady gave her a sympathetic look and nodded that she could leave as long as her mom called and said it was okay.

Max called her mom, "Mom?" pause, "I'm okay, I'm just not feeling well, can I come home?" sniffle, "Yeah I'm sure, I can't stay here today it will be pointless." Pause, "Yeah I'm okay to drive I think," pause, "Okay, you have to talk to the office lady, Miss," she glanced at her name plate, "Ferguson," She nodded, "Love you too bye."

The office lady, Miss Ferguson said she was free to go.

"Can I go out to her car with her really quick? Just make sure she's okay to drive and stuff…? I'll be right back I promise."

She glanced back at Max, "Yeah, make it quick."

I went through the school day worrying about Max, not paying attention to anything.

When I was walking out the door to find Iggy because he offered to drive me home, I ran into Douchebag Dylan.

"Hey Nicholas," He said. "Rumor has it you were in the girls' bathroom with Max today," he laughed.

I ignored him and kept walking.

"I begged Max to let me fuck her in the school bathroom all the time, she always said no." He looked me dead in the eye, "Tell me Nick, why are you with that slut? Have you heard what she's done?" He laughed.

I looked at him and I swear I saw fear flash behind his eyes. "I know exactly what happened, you asshole. Don't you ever come around Max or me again or I will personally make sure you are physically unable to go around anyone."

He just stared for a moment and burst out laughing. I was about to punch this fucker in the face. Excuse my language.

"What is so funny?"

"You're threatening me?" He asked, bursting into laughter again.

"No, it's not a threat." I said lightly.

"Let me guess- 'it's a promise'?" He laughed again.

"No." I said, and walked away. I could tell he was scared. I probably provoked him so now he will try to get to Max. Whatever- I warned him not to.

Oooohhh tell me if you loved or hated it or if i just suck or if its not going very well. As I said, I'm working on another story as well so it might be funky. Love you guys.
