I have nothing to say about today's fic. Just a calm, cute little thing.
Movie Night on the Couch
Kurt sits down with the bowl of popcorn cradled in his arms and his legs on Blaine's lap. Blaine rolls his eyes and takes a handful of popcorn while clicking the Play button. It's a movie they've both seen already, just an excuse to spend some time lounging around together, munching on unhealthy food.
"So did you talk to Angela today?" asks Kurt as he puts another piece of popcorn into his mouth.
"Yup," says Blaine. "She asked around and there's a gig she wants me to do on the fourteenth."
"Aww, that's great!" says Kurt, stroking Blaine's neck; he leans into the touch. "I'm happy for you."
Blaine sends him a warm smile. "Thanks." His gaze is back at the TV when he asks, "Got any tales on the interns today?"
"Oh my god, yes! This one kid, he's unbelievable. He has this older men thing-"
Blaine's eyes widen. "He did not."
"He so did," chuckles Kurt. "Brought me his number with my coffee. I kindly told him I'm married and he was disappointed- like he didn't see my ring, come on- but he left so whatever."
Blaine shakes his head. "Everyone just wants a piece of you, don't they," he says and wiggles his eyebrows at Kurt.
"Please. Everyone at your work- men, women, and anyone else –all of themhit on you on a daily basis."
He huffs. "Fine, maybe you're right."
Kurt grins and shoves a handful of popcorn into his mouth. "I always am. Now. What are you doing with that gig?"
Blaine starts talking immediately, making passionate gestures with his hands, talking quickly, excitedly, and Kurt, well; Kurt enjoys watching him a lot more than the movie.
