Fuzzy
Kurt had allowed it, only if Blaine could choose a single cat or dog for them to adopt fro, the shelter.
Of course, that meant having to look at his sad eyes and pout when he just couldn't possibly decide, because they were all too adorable.
There was a small kitten that gently bit on Blaine's finger when he'd tried to pet it, but a little girl that came in after them squealed and pleaded her dad to let her have that one, and Blaine wouldn't come in the middle of that.
An old dog barked at Kurt, very softly, looking at him with puppy-eyes that would easily compare to Blaine's. Blaine immediately wanted to get it; Kurt refused, saying they couldn't possibly take care of an old dog. Old dogs require a more treatment and closer attention than the two could provide.
A hairy little dog started barking at the top of its lungs when the two approached it. Kurt rejected Blaine's pleads vigorously- "we have neighbors, Blaine! The entire building will hate us!"
But when they went back into the cat section, the first thing they saw was a large cage with a medium sized-kitten that was sitting by itself and looking woefully at them. It's fur was orange and white, and it was missing a leg.
"Kurt," Blaine said with urgency to his voice and grabbed Kurt's hand. "That one."
"Let's go take a look first, okay?"
The kitten was not alarmed by Blaine's enthusiasm, if a bit shy. But once it was clear that no, there was no food to offer, but there were definitely pets, the kitten joyfully purred at them and let them come closer.
"Blaine, are we really doing this?" Kurt asked, the cat rubbing its nose one his hand. "Getting a pet together. We're going to be daddies."
"I wouldn't want this with anyone else," Blaine says.
The kitten meowed happily at that sentiment. Not an hour later, she was named Mrs. Fuzzy, and introduced to her new home by her two new fathers.
