Okay, so I haven't watched the episode yet! So yeah, this isn't a reaction fic, it's just a little Valentines drabble.
Happy Valentine's ya'll! If you have a significant other, have fun! *wink wink* And, if you don't- treat yo self, darling. There isn't a better day for you to show love to yourself!
The Early Bird
Kurt wakes up to the smell of frying bacon. He hums, smiles and snuggles into the warm blankets. A second later, the realization hits him.
"Oh, fucking hell!" he jumps up and looks at his phone. 5:03. The sky outside the window is black; he hasn't slept through his alarm. God damn it, Blaine.
So Kurt gets out of bed and goes into the kitchen with a grumpy face and arms crossed over his chest. Blaine hears him and turns around, his smile radiating warmth like the sun.
"Happy Valentine's day!" he says cheerfully.
"Happy Valentine's, you cheater. I can't believe you got up to make breakfast before me!"
Blaine chuckles, and leaves the spatula on the counter before wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist. "Aww, you'll have next year. I had to! Last year we had the agreement, and I was fine with you doing Valentine's if I was doing our anniversary, but this year we didn't have any agreement and it was just all too tempting."
Kurt shakes his head and places a grumpy kiss on Blaine's mouth; it tastes like orange juice. "You're lucky you're so damn adorable. And that the bacon smells really good."
Blaine's smile only widens, and he kisses Kurt lightly, gentle and adoring. "I love you, my little grumpy cat."
Kurt fights a smile for a second, and then gives up. "I love you too, my sneaky early bird."
