Musings

Kurt had never imagined it would be like this. He'd had his fair share of break up sex, makeup sex, and just about anything in between.

But there was nothing like this, ever, and it was so much better than he could ever dare to imagine.

It wasn't the most complicated, thought-out sex he'd ever had. No, just Blaine under him, just arms tangled, legs bracketing legs, unbearable heat and the sweet-tangy scent of Blaine's sweat.

He could feel Blaine's ring where he was holding his right hand, fingers tangled, gripping as if they never let go and never will. Blaine must have been able to feel his own ring, where his left and Blaine's right were jointed.

All that didn't take place in the most luxurious bed, surrounded by rose petals and candles; they hadn't even made it inside the hotel (Sue was kind enough to rent them a room ahead of time), and the backseat seemed comfortable enough. It wasn't comfortable enough, but that didn't matter once they were kissing again.

Blaine let his head drop back, sighing with satisfaction as Kurt pushed back inside him, biting at his neck.

"Love you so much," he whined on an exhale. "Husband, oh god."

Kurt shuddered, inhaling deeply. "I love you, husband."

His pants were definitely leaving marks where they were rubbing against his thighs, and Blaine's ass must be cold, bare on the car floor. But Blaine's delicious grip around his cock, and his sounds and the smell of his skin and his sweat, and his taste sweet on Kurt's tongue- how could he let go of those for a single second?

He had forever of this, all to himself. Every second was like forever with Blaine, and he kept craving more with every touch, every breath, every hushed whisper of endearment or curse.

Kurt's heart was brimming over with love, with excitement. This was a beginning, he thought, gasping out loud into the steamy air. The beginning of a life together, a life they'll have to build themselves; with fear, with hesitation, with devotion, with desire.

Then again, haven't they started on that already? Have they not built themselves and each other up from scratch, time and time again? Have they not made a home together, and created shared lives to live together?

Maybe, Kurt mused, this was just the middle. Not a beginning- definitely not the end. This is a step on their shared path. Kurt wasn't sure where it led, but he knew that if he was walking it hand in hand with Blaine, he couldn't care less.

Blaine caught Kurt's lips with his, moaning loudly and thrusting his hips, needy and wanting, and Kurt, well, Kurt stopped musing altogether.

There'll be another time for musings.
