Chapter 18

Lust and Reminders

Lucy sighed in relief when they made it to their room, her feet may be healed but the rest of her body ached from being thrown around the ballroom. She sat on a chair with a sigh and took off her shoes, throwing them into a corner. She heard a snort and glared at Laxus.

"What?"

"Nothing... I just thought women treated their shoes like glass, that's all."

"Not all the time." She got up and walked over to him. "Unzip me?" She turned her back, offering the zipper. Slowly, he unzipped her dress, his fingers trailing sparks down her exposed skin, making her shiver.

"Not yet, Laxus." Lucy moved away, towards the bedroom and its attached bathroom. He followed her and sat on the bed to watch her as she went through her bags.

"Tease me one more time, Blondie, and I promise you, you won't be walking afterwards." Laxus informed her with a feral grin, sending shivers up her spine at his words.

Hmmm... Let's add a little fuel to the fire. Lucy turned and flashed him a sultry grin as she let her dress drop to the floor, revealing that she had only a tiny black lace thong on underneath. She heard a faint hiss come from him before she dashed into the bathroom.

She let out another sigh when she saw what she had run in there for. The bathroom was elegant but it was the tub that caught her attention. It was an oval sunken into the floor, with jets in the sides, and was easily big enough for her and Laxus. Lucy smiled as she began to fill the tub with hot water, then remembered the small jar that Juvia had given her. This might be a good time to use that. I really need to relax tonight.

She dug through her bag and found the little bottle, and poured the iridescent liquid into the bath, which produced a foam with a pearlescent sheen. She inhaled the scent as she stripped and undid her hair. Cinnamon, ginger, and ... oranges maybe. Whatever it is it smells amazing. She turned off the water and sighed as she stepped into the tub. She relaxed there for a few minutes, feeling all her aches fade away, all except for one right at her core, that one got worse.

Damn it, Juvia! What the hell did you give me? The feeling got more intense the longer Lucy was in the water, so she quickly washed and rinsed her hair and hopped out. Unfortunately the feeling didn't leave, it just slowed down. Oh god... How do I get this to stop? She moaned lightly as the feeling... no, the need got stronger.

I could get rid of this on my own, but Laxus would hear and tease me all weekend. I could go to Laxus... I'm sure he's more than capable of taking care of this... Even if I'm not able to walk tomorrow, at least I wouldn't have to put up with the rest of Fairy Tail.

Lucy weighed her options for a moment, and decided to go with the more fun option. Opening the door a crack she saw Laxus sprawled out on his back on the bed, his arms behind his head, his sound pods over his ears. Screw the towel or robe, I'm not going to be needing them... Let's see if he likes surprises.

As quietly as she could she walked across the room and crawled on top of him, straddling him right below his waist. When he didn't react she reached over and lightly traced the scar over his eye. No response.

"Laxus." She pouted. "If you won't play with me, I guess I'm just going to have to play with myself." When he didn't respond to that she reached over to remove his sound pods, only to have him crack open an eye to glare at her. She grinned when his eyes went wide at the sight of her naked on top of him.

Laxus sat up, his sound pods falling between them, Lucy picked them up and tossed them towards their bags, not wanting anything between them.

"What's this about?" Laxus asked her, placing his hands lightly on her hips.

"I think you already know." She purred, and she slowly started to unbutton his shirt. He inhaled deeply, and he could smell her arousal, and he could feel his start to grow.

Her fingers lingered on the last button of his shirt, and her eyes caught his and he growled. "As soon as you undo that button, Blondie, I'm not holding back."

"It's not early." She said while glancing at the clock. "It's almost eleven, we slept in because you kept us up all night. If we want our reward we have to leave soon, and I need a shower." She said as Laxus let her up.

He grinned over at Lucy as she stood and limped towards the bathroom. "Can I join you?"

"Not today, I'm already limping because of you, and if anyone asks I can blame it on the bitch from last night. If you carry me down I won't be able to explain why." Lucy grinned over her shoulder at him. "We'll have to try that another time, though."

Lucy sat in one of the chairs facing Mr. Penn's desk, Laxus in the chair next to her, arms crossed, waiting for the man to show.

"Where the hell is he?" She said loudly, hoping the receptionist she knew was on the other side of the door would hear her.

"Calm down, Blondie. He said it would be a few minutes for him to get the keys from his vault."

"It has already been fifteen minutes." She sighed and was about to start pacing when the door opened and Penn walked through carrying and envelope and two velvet boxes. He handed the envelope to Laxus and the boxes to Lucy.

"Here is your reward. I hope you find them to your liking." He smiled at them as Lucy put the boxes in her bag and Laxus pocketed the envelope.

"I'm sure we will. Now if you will excuse us, we are going to tour your wonderful resort." They both got up and started to leave as Penn sat behind his desk. Unfortunately for Penn, he made one wrong comment that made them both freeze.

"The guests really enjoyed the show last night. They found it very entertaining."

Lucy turned on him, an aura so evil coming off of her Laxus didn't know wether to help the poor man or to laugh at him.

"Is that all we are to you? Entertainment?" She growled in a murderous voice, stalking towards him.

"Well, you are from Fairy Tail. You guys are known for putting on a show where ever you go." Penn started, oblivious to the anger in her voice. "Just because you've been on top for the past seven years doesn't mean everyone's forgotten how you used to be before you won your first Grand Magic Games." Penn laughed at his last remark, causing Laxus to growl in annoyance.

"If that is what you think, you know nothing." Lucy hissed at Penn, who just laughed.

"What does a young lady like you know? From what I've read in Sorcerer Weekly, you were only in Fairy Tail not even a year before you disappeared."

"That may be true, and you can insult me all you want, but don't you dare insult our comrades who waited seven long years for us to return. You could never know what they went through, being ridiculed and looked down on where ever they went. Yet they never gave up hope that we would return, that we were alive." Lucy was so angry that she was shaking and radiating power, and Laxus had never seen her lose control like this. He stepped up next to her and wrapped an arm around her, and tried to calm her, and turned to glare at Penn.

"You're an asshole, you know that right?" He said to Penn in a steely voice, causing him to pale. "You claim to know all about Fairy Tail, yet you truly know nothing if all you do is read Sorcerer Weekly. If you knew how many times we've saved your sorry ass without you knowing, you wouldn't be talking to us like we're some type of entertainment. Not even a year after we got back from being frozen in time we saved all of Fiore. Without Lucy you would have been killed by dragons seven years ago, and yet you stand there and talk shit about Fairy Tail."

Laxus shook his head in disgust at the man. He looked at Lucy and saw she had calmed a bit. "Do you really want to stay here again?" She shook her head and Laxus took the passes out of his pocket and turned them into confetti. They turned and made their way to the door, only to be stopped by Penn yelling at them.

"Who do you think you are! You think you can just insult me and leave? I will not stand for this! I will show you not to insult me." Lucy heard the familiar clink of keys from behind her and turned just as there was a flash of light. When the light faded she saw Penn standing there holding Caldem, pointing it right at them. Lucy sighed. He really doesn't know who he's dealing with, even after he saw my fight last night.

Faster than Penn could blink Lucy was behind him, holding Leo's and Capricorn's keys at his neck. "Just give me one reason." She hissed in his ear. "Just give me one reason why I shouldn't destroy this entire office. I knew from the moment I met you that you were a Celestial Spirit mage, and a greedy asshole too. I let it slide because I knew you were weak and needed our help. I also know that in about fifteen seconds you'll reach your limit on magic." Lucy leaned closer and whispered in his ear. "I'll also tell you a little secret. Even the youngest child in Fairy Tail is five times stronger than you, and she's not even a year and a half old yet."

As she finished speaking Caldem returned to the spirit world, leaving Penn out of magic and defenseless. "Remember this, I'm one of the nicest mages in Fairy Tail. If you tried that on anyone else, your staff would either be cleaning up rubble, or cleaning up you." Lucy let him go and he fell to his knees, clearly shaken. "Come on Laxus, I want to go home."

He looked over at Lucy and nodded. "I'll be sure to let Master Makarov, and the rest of Fairy Tail, know what happened here. You will be lucky to even have a member set foot here again, let alone save your ungrateful ass again." He walked over and opened the door and held his arm out for Lucy. "Let's go home, where we belong. Have Virgo get our bags so we can leave."

"Already done." Lucy smiled at him, making his breath catch in his throat.

"Well, what are we waiting for. Let's go home." Laxus took Lucy's hand and lead her out of the resort.
