As always Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima
Chapter 19
Warnings
As they made their way to the train station Laxus could tell something was bothering Lucy, she was too quite.
"Blondie, what's bothering you?"
"I think I've been in Fairy Tail too long."
"Why is that?"
"Because all I wanted to do back there when he called us entertainment was to send him flying through the wall." She smiled sheepishly as he roared with laughter.
"I don't think you've been in Fairy Tail long enough if that's the first time you've felt that."
"Hmmm... That wasn't the first time, but it is one of the times I really wish I would have." She sighed and looked around her at the resort, at the people passing by, whispering as the passed, whispering about Fairy Tail. Laxus could tell that wasn't the only thing that was bothering her.
"Come on, Blondie. I know that isn't all that's bothering you. You can tell me." He wrapped an arm around her and she sighed, leaning into him.
"It's just that, well, I can't get over that people still remember the old Fairy Tail. Well, the old for them anyways. I can't help but think of everything that everyone went through for seven years while we were gone. I still feel like we haven't made it up to them yet, not even halfway yet." She turned to look at him and he could see the sadness in her eyes. "It reminds me of the spirit world all over again."
"Spirit world?"
"Oh, that's right. You weren't with us at the time. Right after you were let back into the Guild, when everyone left to train, most of my group was taken to the spirit world. The only problem is that one day there is three months here. It really messed up everyone's training, and I felt terrible because of it." Lucy sighed again and looked up at the sky.
"But everything turned out alright in the end. The people in your group: Erza, Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Wendy, even you, turned out to be some of the strongest at the games. Well, besides myself of course." He laughed as she elbowed him in the ribs.
"I'm serious, Laxus. A lot can change in three months."
"I wouldn't mind spending a day there, as long as you were there with me, Blondie." Laxus looked down at Lucy, and saw her irritated face glaring up at him. "What?"
"Can you stop calling me Blondie? Can you just call me by my name like everyone else?"
He leaned down and gave her a quick kiss on the tip of her nose, then pulled back and grinned. "Nope! You'll always be Blondie to me." He laughed at her annoyed expression and took her hand. "Come on, let's go get tickets for the next train home."
Home... Lucy thought and glanced at Laxus. Home is wherever he is, wether its at Fairy Tail or at the house we now share. As long as I'm with him I feel at home.
When they got to the station they made their way to the ticket counter and bought their tickets. Lucy looked down at hers to find the departure time and groaned. The train wouldn't leave for another half hour, at one.
"What's the matter, Blondie?" Laxus looked over at her.
"The train doesn't leave for another half hour. What are we going to do until them?"
"Well... I do know something we can do."
Lucy smacked him and hissed. "Not that, you pervert."
Laxus flashed her a grin. "I was going to suggest that you make a contract with your new spirits, and seeing as you though of sex first I believe that makes you the pervert this time." He laughed as she turned red and turned away from him, after a moment of silence she spoke up.
"I guess that would be a good way to spend time." She looked around the station and nodded to herself. The place was open and not too crowded. She dug through her bag until she had the four keys from last night and the two boxes in her hands
She opened the first box and saw a silver key nested in the fabric, a small jewel shining from it. She looked at the symbol and saw what looked like the number two with an arch going across the base. It was Cygnus the Swan. She opened the other box and saw another jeweled key nested in the fabric. This one had what looked to be a footprint of a bird for its symbol. It was Corvus the Raven.
Lucy grinned and showed the keys to Laxus. "Six jeweled keys in one job, I'm doing pretty well."
He grinned back. "Let's see what they can do."
Lucy turned and walked to the most open part of the station and just stood there, three keys in each hand, concentrating her magic. The people milling about stopped to watch as her magic started to swirl around her. Laxus grinned as he heard the people in the station start to whisper about Fairy Tail when they caught sight of the symbol on her hand. As she started to call out a hush went through the crowd as six magic circles appeared around her.
"I am linked to the path
to the World of Celestial Spirits, now!
O spirits, answer my call and pass through your Gates!
Open! Gate of the Crowned King, Cepheus!
Open! Gate of the Enthroned Woman, Cassiopeia!
Open! Gate of the Chained Woman, Andromeda!
Open! Gate of the Breaker, Perseus!
Open! Gate of the Raven, Corvus!
Open! Gate of the Swan, Cygnus!"
There were several flashes of light and when it faded before her stood three familiar spirits and there unfamiliar ones. Lucy looked over the unfamiliar ones and tumbled backwards when she saw the woman. Instantly Laxus was kneeling beside her, wrapping his arms around her.
Faintly he heard her mumble the words angel and gone. After a few shaky breaths she managed to lift her head and look over at her new spirits, who were looking at her concerned, she looked at the unfamiliar woman and drew a shaky breath.
The spirit looked so much like Angel did when Lucy first fought her that it had shocked her, but now that she has a good look at her she could see the difference. The hair color was the same white, but the style was different, the spirit's hair brushed her shoulders and fanned out slightly, almost like feathers. The eyes, too, were different. The spirit's were a golden yellow framed by thick lashes and black eyeliner, and they looked kinder than Angel's had been. She was also wearing a simple white feathered dress similar to what Angel had worn, which is what made her think it was her in the first place.
Now that she was over the shock she looked at the other two spirits, both of them young men. One of them had medium length raven colored hair that hung in his glowing yellow eyes. He was wearing a pair of black pants and a simple black button up shirt, half undone, showing his pale, yet toned chest.
The other man was his opposite. He had tousled bright blue hair and bright teal eyes. He was wearing a suit of armor that could rival Erza's, it looked light yet durable at the same time.
Slowly, Lucy was helped to her feet by Laxus, and she turned to the spirits before her.
"Hello there. Would you like to make a contract with me?" All six of them nodded and she turned to Cepheus first and saw a smile in his warm amber eyes. "You are Cepheus, correct?"
"Yes, Miss Lucy. I am very sorry for everything last night. As are my wife and daughter, I'm sure. I hope you can forgive us." He said with a bow, and the two women beside him also bowed.
"Of course I forgive you. It wasn't your fault we had to fight." She smiled at him. "I already know what magic you can use. So if you will answer a few more questions for me. First, what days are you available and second, I know that you are a jeweled key, so I was wondering what Zodiac you're related to?"
Cepheus smiled and answered. "I'm not available on Mondays, and I'm surprised you haven't guessed who I'm related to yet. I'm told it's a very strong resemblance."
Lucy looked at him for a moment, thinking about the Zodiacs, but his moustache kept distracting her. "Of course!" She face-palmed herself. "You're related to the Spirit King."
"Correct. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go now." As he disappeared she turned to Cassiopeia.
"Greetings, Miss Lucy. I am Cassiopeia, wife of Cepheus, mother of Andromeda, and younger sister of Capricorn." Cassiopeia bowed and as she stood up she brushed her long amber hair back, revealing her inky black eyes. She gave Lucy a look that reminded her of Aquarius as she looked her up and down, then let out a long sigh and crossed her arms
"Well, you have more potential than my last owner, at least you have good looks and a boyfriend. Though you should have a child. Children can be so wonderful... when they listen." She glanced at Andromeda, who paled, then at Lucy, who had turned red, and then glared at Laxus, who started to choke, probably at the though of children.
"You! Young man! You are her boyfriend, correct?" Laxus nodded at the spirit, then backed away as she stalked up to him and started yelling.
"Why doesn't she have a child yet? You are both more than capable of having one, if not more? I want t-" Cassiopeia was cut off by thin chains wrapping around her mouth, silencing her. Lucy looked around and saw Andromeda had thin chains coming out of her fingertips, wrapping around her mother, and she was glaring at the woman with a very annoyed expression.
"I believe it's time to go, Mother." Cassiopeia glared at Andromeda and vanished in a flash. She sighed and glanced at Lucy. "Please forgive my mother. She can be a bit much at times. I know she didn't get to say when she's available, but she has the same schedule as my father. I, on the other hand, don't work on Friday nights, and neither does my boyfriend, Perseus." She tugged the arm of the blue haired man, and he stepped forward and bowed to Lucy.
"Greetings, Princess. I've heard so much about you. I am Perseus, older brother of Virgo, and I specialize in combat magic." He gave her a bright smile and took Andromeda's hand. "I hope we get to know each other better. Take care, Princess." With that they both vanished, leaving two spirits standing there watching Lucy and Laxus.
It was the man who spoke first, in a low, smooth voice. "Hello, Miss Lucy. I am Corvus, cousin of Taurus."
"Perverted bull," Lucy quickly muttered, earning a laugh from Corvus.
"He is perverted, isn't he. Lucky for you, I'm already taken by Cygnus over there. As to when I'm available, I can come anytime you need, though I do prefer night time, mainly because I use shadow magic, though I also use runes." His yellow eyes then flickered between the woman behind him, Lucy, and then Laxus. He then gave a quick nod to the spirit behind him and turned to them both. "I must go, but please, be careful." With that he vanished, leaving Lucy speechless.
"Okay! What the hell was that about!" Laxus roared at the spirit, who just stood their, her gaze never leaving Lucy.
Lucy. Lucy jumped and looked around at the sound of someone's voice in her head.
"Who's there?" She asked looking around, and her eyes were drawn to the spirit, who nodded.
Why can I hear you in my head?
Because of my magic, if I speak out loud something might go wrong. I use song magic so powerful that everyday words are dangerous. I am Cygnus, younger sister of Libra, and available whenever you need me. And to answer Laxus, the reason Corvus warned you to be careful is because of my other power.
And what is that?
My ability to see glimpses of the future. Something will soon happen in your future, something terrible, but you must stay strong. Cygnus slowly walked up to Lucy and placed a hand on her cheek.
I cannot tell you what it is I see, for I don't know how, when, or where it will happen. All I see are flashes. So please, for everyone you care about, be careful.
As Cygnus disappeared, Lucy felt Laxus wrap his arms around her.
"What was all that about?" He asked.
"Nothing." She told him as she leaned up to kiss him. "Nothing at all." Lucy said as the train pulled up, and she grabbed his hand. "Come on, let's go home." Laxus nodded and together they walked onto the train.

The teenage girl winced as her knees scraped the pavement. She looked up at the building before her, and she could hear yells and laughter coming from the open doors, a banner with the symbol of Fairy Tail hanging high and proud on the building. She took an old worn out photograph from the pocket of her tattered jacket, and looked down at it, tears streaming from her eyes.
"I've made it, Mom, and I will change everything. Nobody will die this time." Patting her hat, making sure her hair was covered, and dusting off her tattered jacket and shorts, she slowly stood and walked into Fairy Tail. "This time will be different, Mom. I promise."
