Partially inspired by my adventures today- although sadly, I don't have a car, or a Kurt. Or lemonade.
(And yes, yes, all my drabbles are going to be summer-related. Because we had two heat waves in the past two weeks and I take comfort in making Klaine suffer the heat with me.)
Carwash
It's a hot day in August. The sun is beating down mercilessly and the humidity makes it feel like Kurt's swimming through the air while he desperately tries to wash his car. He even took off his shirt, trying to avoid getting a heat stroke, but to no avail. And now he's probably getting sunburned to all hell, too.
"Hey, hot stuff!"
He turns around and a smile spreads across his face.
"Want some of my delicious lemonade?" Blaine asks, his tone too sexual to be offering just lemonade. He lifts an eyebrow and presents Kurt with a sweaty glass full of cool lemonade.
"You're the best," Kurt says, and takes the glass, leaning in for a second to kiss Blaine quickly. His lips are as warm as the air around them.
"I know," he says, grinning.
Kurt shakes his head, and guzzles down half the lemonade in one go. He can feel the chill spreading in his chest and moans at the sweetness, before looking back at Blaine… who's staring at him with his mouth open just a little.
"Wha'?"
Blaine shuts his mouth quickly and looks up. "Mm, nothing."
Kurt puts a hand on his waist. "Objectifying me. Rude." He drinks the rest of his lemonade quickly.
"I don't know what you're talking about," says Blaine, looking back down. Kurt flexes his muscles, just to see Blaine's eyes widen a little bit. "I'm just bringing my husband a drink to cool off while he's washing the car."
"If you could bring your husband some sunscreen, too, that'd be great," Kurt says and gives his the glass. "Thank you, babe."
"Yeah, yeah." He takes the glass, looking back up.
"You could help me put sunscreen on my back," Kurt says. "It's just so hard to reach…"
"And we wouldn't want you sunburned," Blaine says in a faux-serious tone. Kurt giggles.
The heat is a little more bearable when you have someone to keep you company.
