Hey Everyone! I'm back with another chapter. I was able to make another chapter since my school has ended. Now let's stop this note and get one with the story!

Chapter 5- Endurance, Samurai, and Move tutoring

Ash woke up with the sunlight telling him to get up. He got up and began to exercise a bit and stretched his body. Then he made his pokemon some food and began to eat as he let out all of his Pokemon. They all roared and began to eat. Suddenly, his Pokewatch ringed and he saw that Professor Oak calling him.

''Hello?'' Ash answered

''WHAT THE HELL ASH?! YOU CAUGHT A LEGENDARY POKEMON!'' Professor Oak screamed making ash and his pokemon fall over at the loud sound.

''Professor calm down! I thought you already know it. I was surprise that you're not yelling when we last talked each other.'' Ash said rubbing his ear.

''Sorry ash but the male Nidoran that I caught attacked my computer and only my phone call was available.'' Professor Oak said finally calming down ''Since we all fixed it I now saw the pokemon you caught. That's a very nice set you know ash.'' He said proudly

''Thanks professor. By the way, what happened to that Nidoran?'' Ash asked worried at the pokemon.

''Well I saw some of the rocket members attacked it. Me and some of my pokemon scare them off and saw this little Nidoran. I began to catch it with a pokeball so that I could healed it. But after healing it, It attacked me then I dodged. Instead it hit the computer that's why it's broken. Also it has some kind of collar at its neck'' Professor explained.

''I see. Can I keep that Nidoran?'' Ash asked

Professor looked surprise but said ''Why do you want to keep it?''

''Well if I wanted to become a pokemon master, I must able to take care of any kind of also, I want to help him.'' Ash replied seriously

Professor nodded and smiled ''Sure ash I can send it to you now using your Pokewatch.''

Suddenly a pokeball appeared above the Pokewatch. ''Thanks Professor.'' Ash smiled ''Also with the Ho-oh case, she decided to come with me since she said that I have a pure heart.''

Professor chuckled ''I see. So that's why. You know it's true since you truly have a pure heart,'' he said ''Good luck to your journey Ash'' As the call ended.

''I wonder why Team Rocket wants a Nidoran?'' Ash wondered. ''Well at least now I have a complete 10 pokemon'' he shrugged

''Guys gather over here and let's see what's wrong to our new friend.'' Ash said to his pokemon. The pokemon nodded and surround Ash as he yelled ''Come on out!''

Nidoran is a small, quadruped rodent-like Pokémon. It is pinkish purple with darker spots, and has large, spiny ears, oversized front teeth, and red eyes. Its back is covered with many large spines that can release potent poisons if threatened. There is a long, pointed horn on its forehead.

''Nido!'' Nidoran growled and charged at Ash. ''Pikachu use Thunderwave quick!'' Ash yelled. Pikachu nodded and let out a small amount of electricity which paralyzed Nidoran.

Nidoran was unable to move so all he could do was look Ash in the eye. Ash saw fear, confusion and anger. Ash using his aura, looked at Nidoran's memories. He saw a innocent little Nidoran that is being experimented by some rocket scientist that didn't care about the cries of the poor Nidoran. Then put some kind of metallic collar at the neck which caused Nidoran to lost control. The rockets can't help but fight the Nidoran. And that's the time Professor came before the memory faded. He heard a faint voice saying ''At least now we can create the ultimate pokemon!''

''Ho-oh can you please use a light flamethrower at the collar.'' Ash commanded softly, feeling sorry at the pokemon. Ho-oh nodded and opened her beak to release a small torrent of flames causing the metal melt because of the power of Ho-oh.

''Guys, did you see about this poor Nidoran memories?'' Ash asked.

''Yes Ash. We saw it through your aura.'' Pikachu said sadly. All of the pokemon looked at Nidoran with pity.

''Hey Ash, are all humans like that?'' Riolu asked his father, feeling the fear aura of Nidoran.

''Not all of them riolu. Most humans are extremely nice. But some of them used pokemon like their tools of war or selling for money. Many people really hate that kind of person. That's why not all humans are the same.'' Ash answered

Rilou nodded thoughtfully and looked at Nidoran who is growling lowly but not attacking. Ash try to pet Nidoran but he bit him. Ash winced in pain but endured it. Ash petted Nidoran with his other hand while saying ''It's ok. We're not going to hurt you. I'm your friend not your enemy so please trust me.''

Nidoran looked at Ash again while biting his hand. He only saw pure kindness at the eyes of Ash. Nidoran calmed down and regret biting Ash as he let go of his hands and licked it. Ash smiled and began to use his Pokedex.

Nidoran, The Poison Pin Pokemon. Its large ears are flapped like wings when it is listening to distant sounds. It extends toxic barbs when angered. This Nidoran is Male and has the ability Poison Point. Known Moves: Poison Sting, Peck, Focus Energy and Confusion.

Ash's eyes darkened at the move Confusion ''Must be from the experiment.'' He thought.

''How do you like for some training Nidoran?'' Ash grinned at him. Nidoran began to nod furiously but cannot stand up due to thunderwave. Ash laughed while his pokemon chuckled. Happy to see that Nidoran is now their new friend. Ash brought out a paralyze heal and sprayed it to Nidoran who jumped in joy.

''Ok today is endurance training. So Pikachu I want you hit Pidgeotto and Gyarados with Thunderbolt and I want both of you to endure it. Tell me through our aura if you need some healing. Charmander I want you to hit Caterpie and Scyther with ember. Ho-oh and Nidoran, one of you will attack the other while the other endure it after that switch. Rattata and riolu same with Ho-oh and Nidoran. Oh I forgot. Charmander and Pikachu after doing your work, both of you same training like Ho-oh and Nidoran. Understood?'' Ash instructed. They all roared and began to work. While they are training, Ash began to do some sit-ups, push-ups, squats. Etc.

After training

All of them collapsed in exhaustion even Nidoran can pack a punch! Ash stand up and smiled at them ''Well it's time to eat and after that show me the results of your training.''

They all roared quietly as Ash set their food. Their food was Ash's homemade Pokefood with some vitamins in it as they muched rather quickly. While eating, Ash sprayed his pokemon with potion one by one.

''My new trainer sure is nice even thought I attacked him earlier. I guess I will have an awesome adventure with him'' Nidoran thought happily as Ash sprayed some potion.

''Ok! Now that's done. Show me the results.'' Ash commanded. First was Pikachu, Gyarados and Pidgeotto. Pikachu first fired Pidgeotto with the taste of his Thunderbolt. Pidgeotto wince in pain but shrugged it off. Same result with Gyarados. Except he took much more damage.

''Ok that's nice but next time Pikachu don't make it stronger ok?'' Ash sighed at his mouse pokemon. Pikachu rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

Now it's Charmander, Caterpie and Scyther. Scyther was ok but Caterpie wasn't so lucky. Caterpie was still able to stand and growled. Suddenly, a bright light enveloped Caterpie as he began to change form.

Now the pokemon at Caterpie's resembles a chrysalis. Its soft body is protected by a hard green outer shell while it undergoes metamorphosis.

Ash took out his Pokedex as it beeped

Metapos, The Cocoon Pokemon. Even though it is encased in a sturdy shell, the body inside is tender. It can't withstand a harsh attack. This Metapos is Male and has the ability Shed Skin. Known Moves: Tackle, String Shot, and Harden.

''Wow! Nice job Metapod!'' Ash yelled in excitement after seeing one of his pokemon evolved in front of his eyes. Metapos just looked happy but you can't tell if it is happy or not.

Ash suddenly felt a presence behind him as he returned all of his pokemon fast except Pikachu. The attacker quickly swing some kind of sword as Ash grabbed it with ease.''A wooden sword?'' he thought.

''That's a great way to defend yourself.'' The attacked said as he revealed himself. It is a boy wearing a samurai outfit.

''My name is Samurai.'' the boy introduced himself.

''I'm Ash and please don't attack other people with that sword. It might hurt them'' Ash said a little angry.

''Sorry. I was just trying to test people if they are worthy to battle me.'' Samurai said with pride. ''I challenge you to a 2-on-2 Pokemon match.''

Ash frowned a little at the boy's arrogance but said ''I accept your challenge.''

Samurai nodded and let out his pokemon '' Go Pinsir!''

( Author's note- I will stop describing some Pokemon. I will only describe rare, shiny,legendary or evolved pokemon since it will only make the readers bored.)

''A Pinsir huh.'' Ash thought taking out his Pokedex.

Pinsir, The Stag Beetle Pokemon. Its two long pincer horns are powerful. Once they grip an enemy, they won't release until the foe is torn. This Pinsir is Male and has the ability Hyper Cutter. Known Move: Tackle.

Ash sweat dropped a little ''Tacke is only its known moves?'' he thought

Ash snapped out of his trance and let out his pokemon ''Scyther show me your power!''

''Sccyyyyther!''Scyther growled in anticipation as it began to take his battle stance.

''Pinsir use Tackle now!'' Samurai commanded. Pinsir nodded and began to run at Scyther with full force.

''Scyther dodged to the side and use Focus Energy followed by Fury Cutter.''

Scyther heard his trainer's command and dodged to the side. He began to focus all of his energy as he slashed his opponent repeatedly. Pinsir roared in pain as he was slashed.

''Scyther finish this with quick attack and Steel wing!'' Ash ordered. Scyther wings became metallic and run towards Pinsir with blinding speed.

''Pinsir quick dodged it!'' Samurai yelled in panic. Pinsir tried to dodge but cannot because Scyther was too fast and was hit.

Pinsir layed down with swirls in his eyes. Samurai returned his fallen pokemon and called out his last pokemon. ''Win for me Metapod.''

A Metapod appeared by Samurai's side ready to battle.

''How convenient. Scyther return.'' Ash returned his mantis pokemon. ''You were awesome for your first battle.'' He said to Scyther's pokeball. ''Time for you to shine Metapod.'' Ash called out his last pokemon which is also a Metapod except it is much larger than Samurai's.

''Metapod harden!'' Samurai said. Samurai's metapod used harden as its defense rose.

''Metapod, use string shot at the branch of the tree and swing. Use that momentum to use Tackle with harden. Full Power'' Ash commanded calmly.

Metapos spit out some strings from his mouth at the branch and swing towards his opponent as his shell became much harder and tackled Samurai's metapod with full force.

Samurai's metapod groaned in pain and lay down with swirls in his eyes. Samurai sighed and returned his Metapod.

''Good battle Ash.'' Samurai smiled sadly and attempt to shake hands.

''Thanks Samurai. And next time train your pokemon more.'' Ash advised shaking hands with Samurai.

''Oh and if you want to go to Pewter City, just go straight in this path.'' Samurai said pointing the direction. ''Thanks but I need to train more.'' Ash said.

Samurai nodded and said good-bye to Ash as he walked away. Ash turned to his Metapod and said ''Good job metapod for your first battle.'' Metapod nodded happily and began to glow white.

The pokemon in Metapod's place resembles a vaguely anthropomorphic butterfly with a purple body. it only has two body segments and four light blue legs. It has two black antennae, a light blue snout with two fangs underneath, and large, red compound eyes. Its two pairs of veined wings are white with black accents.

''Freeeeee!'' Butterfree squeak.

Ash's pokedex beeped.

Butterfree, The Butterfly Pokemon. The wings are protected by rain-repellent dust. As a result, this POKéMON can fly about even in rain. This Butterfree is Male and has the ability Compound Eyes. Learned Moves: Sleep Powder and Poison Powder.

Ash grinned happily and hugged Butterfree. Ash returned Butter free and decided to rest.

''What a long day. Caterpie really evolved fast today.'' Ash though as he began to look at his pokedex for tomorrow's training.

Friday

Ash woke up with the Pokedex in his hand. He began his warm-up while preparing their food. ''Come on out everyone!'' Ash called out all of his pokemon. ''Ok this is the last day of training this week.'' He said ''So after eating we will go straight for move tutoring.'' All of the pokemon nodded in approval as they munched their food.

After eating and resting

''Ok! All of you will be divided to 2 groups. First group are Pikachu, Charmander, Butterfree, Pidgeotto and Scyther.'' Ash instructed. The other Pokemon were surprise that Metapod evolved and congratulate him. Butterfree just blushed and thanked them.

''The other group will be Riolu, Ho-oh,Nidoran,Gyarados, and Rattata.'' Ash continued ''I will be teaching the first group while the other watch or do whatever they want. After that I will teach the other group. Everyone understood?'' He asked. They all shook their head and go to their group.

With the first group

''Pikachu I want you to learn iron tail. To do this, hit that rock with your tail while focusing your energy in that tail got it?'' Ash instructed. Pikachu nodded and began to do his training.

''Next Charmander. You will learn Metal Claw. Same with Pikachu but use your claws.'' Ash said to his first pokemon. Charmander growled and goes with Pikachu.

''Pidgeotto I want you to teach Butterfree Gust. After that you and Scyther will try to learn Wing attack at that tree. Got it?'' Ash said to the three flying pokemon. They all nodded and began to work.''

With the other group

''Ok now I'm done instructing the other group, it's now your turn.'' Ash said.

''First is Rattata. I want you to learn Hyperfang. Use your teeth to bite that rock but add some power.'' Ash instructed his violet mouse pokemon. Rattata nodded and run towards the rock.

''Next is Gyarados. I want you to hit that tree repeatedly for you to learn Thrash.'' Ash commanded to Gyarados. Gyarados roared in approval and started to do his training.

''Riolu I want you to learn Force Palm. I want you to concentrate your aura to your palm and release it forcefully. Undertand?'' Ash said to Riolu. Riolu nodded happily, finally able to train.

''Lastly Ho-oh. To learn Recover, Use your power to lift all the pain away from you body without someone disturbing you.'' Ash said to his legendary pokemon. Ho-oh nodded in understanding since she saw other pokemon doing it while flying to the sky before she met Ash.

Few hours has passed and all of Ash's pokemon mastered their moves. Finally ash wanted Nidoran to have some experience battling.

''Nidoran, I want you to battle with Rattata but don't worry I'll be commanding you.'' Ash said. Nidoran nodded happily as he and rattata began to take their stance.

Rattata started off with his quick attack. He ran towards to Nidoran in blinding speed. ''Nidoran spin to the sides and use Focus Energy. After that use your Double Kick.'' Ash ordered. Nidoran barely dodged Rattata's quick attack and concentrated all of his energy while kicking Rattata's body with Double kick. Rattata groaned in pain and used his Hyperfang as he bit Nidoran hard with his powered teeth.

Nidoran cringed in pain and tried to shake Rattata off of him. ''Nidoran use Poison sting now!'' Ash yelled. Nidora spit out needle-like poison and smack it towards Rattata. ''Finish this with Confusion!'' Ash ordered with finality. Nidoran eyes glowed violet as Rattata flew and smash into the tree. As a result, Rattata was knocked out.

''Good job Nidoran.'' Ash praised. Nidoran blushed and licked Ash in the legs. Ash laughed and decided to get a potion and heal Rattata. Rattata was a bit disappointed but that was quickly gone when Ash praised him.

''Well tomorrow is the day.'' Ash said. ''Tomorrow we will fight for our very first gym badge. I hope we do our best and win.'' He announced. All of his pokemon cheered and yawned indicating that there are sleepy. Ash chuckled and returned them to ther pokeballs except Pikachu. They all slept and began to pray that they will win tomorrow's gym battle.

Finished with another chapter. Whoah I got 71 review only in 4 chapter! That's awesome! I hope I'll be able to make another one. See you all in the next chapter! Read and Review please.
