Since I got nothing to do, I decided to write a new chapter! To be honest, I should be writing a chapter for my other story but since I still lack some votes, I decided to do this one then. I'm also sorry for forgetting that Charmander evolved into Charmeleon. It's because too much stress can make you forget some things. Hope you enjoy this one!

Chapter 8- Storming the Gym, AJ, and Pokémon Technical Institute.

Ash woke up with a feeling of excitement flowing through his veins. Today is the day he will challenge the gym of Cerulean City. ''Hmmmmm, who should I use against the gym. I heard the gym uses water types. Oh well, might as well get ready. I'll decide when I battle with them.''

As usual, Ash did his morning exercise but with Pikachu and Riolu.

'Man Ash. Thanks for letting me out of that poke ball. I was so bored in there!' Riolu said with relief. Pikachu laughed slightly and said 'Now you know why I hate being inside that blasted poke ball? Actually it's just one of the reason I hate that contraption.'

Ash frowned recalling the memories of Pikachu. Pikachu noticed his trainer's frowned and said with a smile 'Don't worry Ash, I already gotten over that. I just need some kind of poke ball that is a bit relaxing than any other poke ball.'

Ash nodded and smiled at his two Pokémon as he took a shower and wear his usual clothes.

''Well guys, ready to storm the gym?'' Ash asked his two fellows Pokémon as they both roared in approval in their language. With that, they started to walk towards the gym.

While walking, he saw a crowd full of people in a building. ''I wonder what's going on there?'' Ash thought with curiosity in his mind. Then he listened as Officer Jenny began to talk. '' Everyone get out of here, we still need to investigate who stole the huge vacuum in this building''

Some people left but the reporters stayed as they need information who stole the vacuum. Ash is one of the people who left as he said to himself that the police can handle it and continued towards Cerulean Gym. As he entered, he saw 3 beautiful girls and decided to ask them who is/are the Gym leader.

''umm hello. I'm looking for the gym leader of this gym. Can you tell me where is he/she?'' Ash said politely. The one with blonde hair answered bluntly ''you're like looking at them now.''

Ash sweat-dropped a bit at her language but shakes it off. ''Well then I challenge you to a battle.'' Ash challenged the 3 girls but a sigh from the indigo haired girl got him confused. ''Well, we don't feel like battling right now.''

Ash was really confused now and decided to ask ''Why?''

The shortest girl with pink hair answered him. ''We just got defeated by 3 trainers from this so-called Pallet Town.'' Ash sighed a bit as he realized that Gary and the others are ahead of him again.

''By the way I'm Daisy, the one with the indigo hair is Violet and lastly the pink one is Lily.'' The blonde hair girl now known as Daisy introduced herself.

''I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. Isn't there any Pokémon you can use to battle me?'' Ash said. Violet took out a poke ball as she let out Goldeen who flail wildly on the ground. ''The only Pokémon we have is Goldeen and she is a baby. We have to like rush to the Pokémon Center to heal our Pokémon.'' Violet said. Then Daisy called out Seel who was holding a tear-shaped badge. ''You want this right? Then take it.'' Daisy said giving Ash the Cascade badge. Ash shook his head and said ''I rather earned my badge than take it.''

''Oh come one. Don't play the hero. Just take it.'' Lily said. Ash was about to talk back until a voice stopped him. ''What do you think are you doing! Our Gym's license could be taken away if the Pokémon League heard you guys are giving away free badges!'' The voice said with an angry tone.

''Misty?'' Ash said as he looked at the oranghead. ''Yup. I'm Misty Waterflower, one of the four sensational sisters'' Misty said as Ash nodded his head in greeting. ''Actually there are only three sensational sisters and one runt'' Lily said with a snicker.

''I thought you're not coming back until you become a water Pokémon master?'' Daisy said with a hint of teasing in her voice. Misty turned red and said '' I was training for it until I heard you giving away badges for free!''

''Then show us what's the result of your training '' Violet said as the 3 girls. Misty walked to the other side while grumbling ''I'll show them all right.'' Then Misty yelled ''Hey Ash, We will be having a 2-on-2 battle!''

Ash nodded and sweat-dropped at the siblings quarrel earlier since he was feeling a bit left out. ''Might as well get this over with before anything more happens.'' Ash thought. And with that thought, the battle started.

''Misty calls Staryu!'' Misty said, saying her battle phrase. Ash took out his pokedex and scanned the star-shaped water Pokémon.

Staryu, the star shape Pokémon. It appears in large numbers by seashores. At night, its central core flashes with a red light.

Ash closes his pokedex and called out his own Pokémon as well. ''Butterfree, battle stance!'' Ash said creating his own battle phrase. The butterfly Pokémon growled in anticipation as attacks were initiated.

''Staryu start things off with Tackle.'' Misty yelled as the said Pokémon began to charge to her enemy. However, Ash has a counter attack to this. ''Use Harden. Then tie Staryu with String shot and add in with some Poison powder.'' Ash said calmly. Butterfree's body shined a bit as the Harden take its place when Staryu tackled Butterfree. Butterfree cringed in pain since it was pretty hard but immediately spit out some strings from his mouth as Staryu was slowed down by the attack as Butterfree let out some violet powders from his wings and Staryu got poisoned.

Misty jaw dropped as her Pokémon was immediately poisoned because of one attack. ''Man, was I so careless.'' Misty whispered to herself. ''Whoa Ash sure is a good trainer.'' Daisy said as the other two nodded.

''Staryu use full-powered water gun and try to take out Butterfree as soon as possible.'' Misty ordered with a bit of panic in her voice. Staryu tiredly spit out a stream of water but Ash decided to finish it. ''Counter with gust! Then quickly attack with Tackle!'' Ash said. Butterfree let out a strong gust of wind created by his wings as both attacks repel each other but Butterfree wasn't finished. He quickly got in front of Staryu and tackled her with full force. ''Good thing I trained my Pokémon in speed.'' Ash thought. Staryu hit the wall hard and the red core at the center started blinking signaling it was knocked out.

Misty sighed and recalled her Pokémon then gave some words of praise. ''Misty calls Starmie!'' Misty said with much more confidence this time. Ash took out his Pokedex again and pointed it to Starmie.

Starmie, the Mysterious Pokémon and the evolved form of Staryu. This Pokémon has a geometric body. Because of its body, the locals suspect that it is an alien creature.

Ash closed his Pokedex and hid it. ''Butterfree return, you did a great job today. PIdgeotto, battle stance!'' Ash said returning his bug Pokémon and replacing it with his trusted flying Pokémon as it chirped in excitement.

''Starmie use Rapid Spin while using Water gun'' Misty said as the evolved form of Staryu complied in her trainer's command. Starmie started to spin as water was shot out everywhere. Ash was surprised and thought ''Nice Strategy. I can definitely use it one day.'' ''Pidgeotto fly up and dodged the water with Quick Attack.'' Ash commanded feeling the excitement throughout his body. Pidgeotto quickly flew and dodged using her speed added by the Quick Attack but was hit by one making her a bit distracted. Misty took this opportunity to yell her attack ''Quick use Water Pulse while it's distracted!'' Starmie began to form a blue energy ball as she fired it to the distracted flying Pokémon.

''Pidgeotto quickly used Air Cutter!'' Ash shouted as Pidgeotto quickly performed her attack as the X-shaped came out from her wings and met the Water Pulse as it repel each other. ''Pidgeotto get in close with Quick Attack and finished it with Wing Attack!'' Ash ordered. Pidgeotto started to get in close in a dangerous speed with glowing white wings.

''Starmie quickly used Water Gu-'' Misty was cut off as the attack hit Starmie who was wounded pretty badly. Just when Ash was about to finish it, an explosion took place on the walls. The battle was interrupted when 3 figures started to say their motto as they were positioned on a giant vacuum.

''Team Rocket!'' Ash growled. Jessie growled back and said ''you again. Why do we have to see you every time we steal a Pokémon.''

James got in between their growling as he said ''we're here to steal the Water Pokémon! So hand it over or we will take them by force.''

The 3 Sensational sisters glared at them and said ''you are so like repairing the wall!'' Meowth sweat-dropped as he activates the machine which started to suck up the water and the water Pokémon. ''Starmie use Recover quickly and attack with Water Pulse.'' Misty said as Starmie glowed slightly as it began to heal her wounds. Ash decided to become distraction so that misty can initiate her attack as he said ''Pidgeotto use Air Cutter at the hose!'' Ash commanded as his flying Pokémon let out another X-shaped attack from her wings. The attack is hit on the hose as it quickly came off the vacuum. Before Team Rocket could recover, a water pulse was shot out of nowhere which made the vacuum have a hole letting the water Pokémon out of their prison.

Team Rocket glared at Misty who was smiling with triumph as they let out their Pokémon.

''Ekans punish those twerps!'' Jessie yelled in anger. ''Koffing let's show them not to mess around with Team Rocket!'' James shouted. Both Rocket members threw their poke ball letting out their poison-type Pokémon.

''Hey Misty, we should team up. What do you say?'' Ash suggested. Misty smiled and said ''It's on!'' And then the tag battle started when Misty said that.

''Ekans use Poison Sting.'' Jessie commanded. ''Koffing add in with Sludge!'' James said. Ekans let out white glowing needles from her mouth while Koffing spit out some green substance as both attack were directed towards Pidgeotto and Starmie.

''Pidgeotto use Wing Attack on that Sludge to take it back from its owner'' Ash said with a slight grin. Pidgeotto's wings glowed shimmery white as she race towards the green substance and hit it with her attack but instead of repelling it, the Sludge bounced off and hit Koffing in its eyes.

''Koffing try to shake it off!'' James panicked as his Pokémon tried to do that but can't.

''Starmie use Swift on that Poison Sting and keep using it until you hit Ekans. '' Misty ordered. Starmie let out star-shaped attacks out of nowhere and began hitting all the Poison Stings, deflecting Ekans's attack but the Swift attack did not stop as it began to hit Ekans repeatedly.

''Ekans dodged those pesky stars!'' Jessie growled out. Ekans tried dodging it but cannot since it is an unavoidable attack.

''Let's finish this.'' Ash whispered which Misty nodded at it. ''Starmie use full power Water Pulse!'' Misty said as Starmie began to form a blue water ball of energy. ''Pidgeotto mix it with maximum power of Air Cutter!'' Ash said making Pidgeotto formed an X-shaped blue energy and mixing it to Starmie's Water Pulse who fired the attack altogether. The Water Pulse with the Air Cutter spinning around it began to make its way to Team Rocket's Pokémon. Another explosion occurred as the destructive attack of Ash and Misty hit Team Rocket's Pokémon making them knocked out.

''Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Riolu, add in with some Force Palm.'' Ash commanded as both Pokémon left his shoulder and unleashed their attack. A bolt of lightning joined by an aura energy that shaped like a palm hit Team Rocket making them blasting off again

''Finally it's over.'' Ash sighed looking at his worn out Pokémon. ''Pidgeotto return, you were awesome today.'' He said returning his now tired flying Pokémon. Misty also recalled her Starmie since it was pretty tired as well.

''Looks like we have to fight again tomorrow Misty.'' Ash said with a bit of sorrow but Daisy cut him off from leaving. ''No Ash, take this.'' She said while giving him the Cascade badge.

Ash was a bit stunned and so was Misty as they both said ''Why?''

Violet answered them ''Well Ash, you would have won that battle if those goons hadn't interrupted you.''

Misty pouted a bit but Lily cut her off ''Well Misty, you're Starmie would have been knocked out if that attack hits. So all in all, Ash won the battle.''

Misty sighed and nodded. Ash gratefully took the badge from Daisy's hand as he looked at it with happiness ''Finally, I got the Cascade badge!'' Riolu and Pikachu looked happy as their trainer got the second badge and said 'Congratulations Ash!' Ash smiled at them and nodded as a 'thank you'

''Well guys, I have to go now. I still have more training to do.'' Misty said as she quickly left the gym.

''Thanks for your generosity, I hope we meet again'' Ash smiled as he too left the gym, leaving the 3 girls thinking about repairing the wall Team Rocket caused earlier.

Pokémon Center

''Hey Nurse Joy!'' Ash said happily. Nurse Joy looked at him with a smiled and said ''Judging from your happy appearance, you've won the gym right?''

Ash nodded and showed her the Cascade badge from his jacket. ''Yup. Although, they gave it to me since they said I would have beaten Misty if my Pidgeotto's attack hit.'' He explained to the Nurse. ''Oh and can you please heal Pidgeotto and Butterfree for me? I've got to train my Sandshrew for a bit.'' Ash requested in which the nurse nodded as he took out the poke balls and gave them to Norse Joy. Ash quickly left to go to the training ground behind the Pokémon Center.

''Come on out Sandshrew!'' Ash yelled throwing the said Pokémon's poke ball as it began to form Sandshrew's body in a white light. Sandshrew quickly ran over to Ash and hugged him affectionately. Ash chuckled and said ''Ok Sandshrew, we need to train first before we can travel to Vermillion City. Since it uses electric types, I will obviously use you on battle so be ready for some training.'' Sandshrew's eyes shone in excitement as he was quickly instructed by Ash.

''I want you to learn this 2 moves.'' Ash said as he explained the moves to Sandshrew and they both train for about an hour until Sandshrew learned the attack. They stopped training since Nurse Joy called Ash through her microphone. With that, they walked towards to the inside of the Pokémon Center and retrieved Ash's Pokémon.

''They're all in good condition now. I hope we see you again Ash.'' Nurse Joy smiled. Ash smiled back and said ''I will come back Nurse Joy. See you around!'' And with that said, Ash left the Pokémon Center.

While walking

A boy with yellow shirt and blue with white stripes shorts came and challenged Ash on a 1-on-1 battle in which Ash accepted eagerly. 'Hey Ash, I'm going to sleep for a moment. I'm pretty tired watching some battle. Wake me up when something happens.' Riolu said. Ash nodded and returned his fighting Pokemon

''By the way I'm Joey.'' The challenger, Joey, introduced himself. ''I'm Ash Ketchum'' Ash also introduced himself as they started to battle.

''Rattata I choose you!'' Joey and Ash yelled as they both threw their poke ball revealing their violet mouse Pokémon with big teeth but Ash's is much larger than Joey.

''Rattata use Quick Attack'' Joey said as his Rattata run towards Ash's Rattata.

''Quick but not quick enough.'' Ash whispered. ''Dodge with Quick Attack and attack with hyper fang.'' Ash commanded as his own Rattata dodged the attack in a split second and attacked with his two white teeth glowing. Joey's Rattata screeched in pain as Joey has a horror look in his face.

''Quick try using Fury Swipes!'' Joey panicked as his Rattata tried scratching Rattata but the pain was too much to bear.

''Rattata finish it with your own Fury Swipes!'' Ash said making his Rattata scratch his enemy with no mercy. Joey's Rattata was quickly knocked out as he returned it while saying some praise. Ash returned his own Rattata as well giving him some praises too.

''Hey you're good. Why don't you challenge AJ? He's pretty unbeatable with 99 wins and 0 loses.'' Joey suggested before running off to heal his Rattata. Ash thought about what Joey said and decided to challenge this AJ.

''What do you say guys?'' Ash asked his Pikachu and Riolu in which they responded with a nod. With that decision made, Ash began its way towards to AJ's unofficial gym. Then he saw someone with a dark green spiky hair training a Sandshrew.

''Come on Sandshrew, we still need to beat one more trainer before we start collecting gym badges.'' The boy said in which the Sandshrew nod in excitement. Ash decided to intervene and asked ''Are you AJ?''

The boy looked at him and said ''Yes, I'm AJ and I'm looking for my 100th trainer so that I can collect gym badges now.''

''Then I challenge you to a battle.'' Ash challenged ignoring the 100th trainer comment. AJ smirked at him and accepted the challenge impatiently.

''Sandshrew let's do this for our 100th victory!'' AJ said as his Sandshrew got into battle stance.

''Sandshrew, battle stance!'' Ash yelled throwing his poke ball revealing another Sandshrew except it's much larger than AJ.

''Sandshrew use Slash!'' AJ ordered. Sandshrew's claws grew longer and sped towards Ash's Pokémon.

''Sandshrew counter with Rollout!'' Ash said as his own Sandshrew curled himself into a ball and started to roll towards his enemy.

''Sandshrew dodge with Dig!'' AJ countered. Sandshrew quickly stopped his own attack and dug underground.

''Big mistake.'' Ash smirked ''Sandshrew attack with Magnitude.'' He said making Sandshrew jumped up high and stomped down hard as his body is outlined with brown aura.

''Quick Sandshrew get out of there!'' AJ panicked but it was too late. The Magnitude started as the ground began to shake in anger. Then out came the hole AJ's Sandshrew made is his very own tired Sandshrew.

''Sandshrew can you keep going?'' AJ asked worriedly. Sandshrew nodded as it waits for his trainer's command. ''Ok then. Use Swift!'' Then a torrent of stars appeared as it become closer to Ash's Sandshrew.

''Counter with your own Swift!'' A wave of star came out of Ash's Sandshrew as both Swifts began to fight each other but Ash's won. The stars hit AJ's Sandshrew as it ended the battle with Ash as the winner.

''Sandshrew return. You were great out there'' AJ smiled as the lose sign on the large screen turned 1.

''Great job Sandshrew. You were great out there. I have a feeling that you will evolved soon.'' Ash said happily. Ash's Sandshrew yipped happily also as it was excited for his evolution before he was returned to his own poke ball.

''That was a great battle. By the way what's your name?'' AJ asked as he took his hand out for a greeting.

''I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet town'' Ash introduced himself as he shake his hand with AJ's.

''Hey Ash, want to see how my Pokémon trains?'' AJ said suggestively. Ash nodded ''Sure, I got nothing to do anyways.''

AJ led Ash to his training tent. Ash saw some Rattata, Beedrils, and Spearows training over some kind of courses.

"So this is how you trained you Pokémon.'' Ash frowned a bit. Then he saw AJ whipping his Sandshrew for some kind of training.

''What are you doing?!'' Ash yelled a bit with anger.

''Well my Pokémon needs to get stronger so I need to cover their weakness and pain tolerance.'' AJ answered him with a bit of obvious in his voice. Ash calmed down a bit. If AJ's Pokémon accepted his training then he will not disturbed them. Suddenly a rubber ball came by and took Sandshrew quickly before running outside.

''Hey! Thieves stop!'' AJ shouted quickly running towards the thieves. Ash sighed as he thought ''Not again… When will these losers give up.''

Ash quickly followed AJ outside as he saw Sandshrew biting Meowth's tail and AJ giving off the command. Ash decided to watch since this is for AJ's 100th victory but if things gets out of hand, then he will join AJ for battle.

AJ looked at Ash seeing that he's not helping but then realize when Ash nodded at him and pointed to the large screen that has '1 lose and 99 wins' AJ nodded back and turned to the battle with determination in his face.

''Ekans, make this quick!'' Jessie yelled letting out her common poison Pokémon.

''Koffing come out!'' James shouted making the floating Pokémon appear in the battlefield.

AJ quickly go for the first move. ''Sandshrew use Swift then dig.'' A flurry of stars appeared and attacked Koffing and Ekans.

''Come out now and hit Ekans then hit Koffing with Rollout!'' AJ quickly yelled. Sandshrew come out and attacked Ekans then he turns into a ball and roll towards Koffing.

''Koffing use Smog quick! Ekans poison sting!'' Koffing and Ekans tried to attack Sandshrew but the Rollout was pretty good as it dodge every attack that was directed to Sandshrew. And then, Koffing was out the moment when Sandshrew hit him leaving only Ekans to battle.

''Now Sandshrew, finish this with a final Rollout!'' AJ shouted happily. Sandshrew kept rolling as he hit the snake Pokémon hard making Ekans lay down with swirls in her eyes.

''Nice job AJ! Let me finish this off.'' Ash smiled ''Pikachu give them a taste of your Thunderbolt!'' He commanded the yellow Pokémon. Pikachu jumped and released a stray of lightning heading towards to Team Rocket who screamed in fright and blasted off again. Then the 'win' sign turned 100 as AJ yelled happily ''Alright Sandshrew! We got our 100th win.''

''Congrats AJ so I guess that you will challenge gyms right?'' Ash asked. AJ nodded and said ''Yup! So I guess I'll be seeing you at the Pokémon League.'' he smirked.

Ash smirked back ''you bet!'' Ash said his goodbye to AJ as he continued in his journey.

Fog began to surround Ash as he walked around. Then he saw a group of kids surrounding a boy.

''Ok Joe, what's this Pokémon?'' The kid asked showing the Caterpie picture. ''Uhh is it a Weedle?'' the boy known as Joe answered.

''Wrong! Man Joe this Pokémon is the most common of all and you cannot recognize it!'' The same kid sighed exasperatedly as the others gave him insults and some even gave him a push as he was forced to sit on the ground. To the boy it seems like normal but to Ash the kids were bullying the boy.

''Hey, whatever you doing it doesn't help him at all.'' Ash said with authority in his voice. The kids knew that do not mess around with Ash but one of the kids stepped up and said ''We are the students of the Pokémon Technical Institute but we don't want to fight with you so we will go now.'' The group of kids left leaving Joe all alone.

''Why are you letting them bully you?'' Ash asked helping the boy up to his feet. ''They're not bullying me! They're just helping me so that I can pass the test on our school.''

''What do you do in that school.'' Ash said as they started to walk. ''When you pass the test, you can go to the Pokémon League and enter it without earning badges.'' Joe answered. Ash frowned at the rules of the school and said ''I would like to meet the head in your school and battle him/her since I'm a Pokémon trainer.''

Joe widened his eyes a bit and said ''How many badge do you have then?

''I have 2'' Ash answered rather bluntly. Joe looked at him like he was crazy and said '' you can't battle Giselle! You're too weak to battle her!''

Ash frowned at him and said icily ''don't judge the book by its cover. Now lead me to your school.'' Joe gulped a bit but led him to his school. When they reached the school ash asked something '' so how does your school works?''

Joe leads Ash to the head student Giselle's study area. He says its overall skill as a Trainer, not any one battle that determines success at Pokémon Tech.

''Even though I'm the weakest student, I can beat someone with 2 badges.'' Joe said rather arrogantly. Ash knew that Joe was referring to him and growled ''Battle me then.'' Joe accepted the battle and they got into position.

''Weepinbell it's time to battle!'' Joe said throwing his poke ball revealing a yellow, bell-shaped body with a single green leaf on either side. It also has a big mouth with pink lips.

Weepinbell, The flycatcher Pokémon. The leafy parts act as cutters for slashing foes. It spits a fluid that dissolves everything.

''Butterfree let's show him our power.'' Ash said also throwing his Pokémon letting out his bug Pokémon.

''Weepinbell use Razor Leaf!'' Joe ordered. Weepinbell threw leaves that have a sharp edge. ''Counter with Gust and retaliate with Tackle. Full power'' Ash said with a sharp tone. Butterfree released a gust of wind making the Razor leaf flying to the sides. Before Joe could command more, Weepinbell was hit a full force Tackle and was knocked out.

''Butterfree return. You did well.'' Ash praised his Pokémon as the red beam absorbed Butterfree. Joe quickly ran over to his knocked out Pokémon and returned him.

''But why? You only have 2 badges...why did I lose?'' Joe whispered in shock. A girl voice answered him ''It's because he has more experience than you. You should know that since you are learning here. You are an embarrassment in this school.'' Both of them whipped their heads and saw a girl with violet hair and a beautiful face and the group of kids from earlier. They threatened Joe that they will kick him out of school if he keeps losing.

Ash step forward and said ''Even though he lost, he can still improve. You're his friends. A true friend never leaves his/her friends behind.''

Giselle asked him of how many badges Ash have, in which Ash answered the same answer with Joe. Giselle laughed and said ''Then you're just a beginner. A Pokémon is only as good as its Trainer''

''There's more to training Pokémon than that. I challenge you to a battle'' Ash said angrily. He was getting tired of this school and it's time to teach them a lesson. Giselle agreed thinking that she will win this easily. Pikachu was also getting tired of this school and said to Ash through their link that he wants to battle. Ash agreed as he and Giselle started to battle.

''Cubone let's show him that he's a beginner!'' Giselle said throwing her Pokémon revealing a brown creature with a skull on his face and a bone at his hand.

Cubone, the Lonely Pokémon. It wears the skull of its dead mother on its head. When it becomes lonesome, it is said to cry loudly.

''Pikachu, Battle stance. No holding back!'' Ash said coldly. He hated people judging him by badges or whatever!

''Your sending an electric type Pokémon to battle a ground type?'' Giselle said mockingly as she laughed ''you really are a beginner!''

Ash is like a ticking bomb right now. Any more insults he will explode in anger. He took a deep breath and ordered '' Pikachu, Quick attack into Iron tail.''

Pikachu took off in full speed making Cubone look around confusingly. ''use Bone Club!'' Giselle commanded with nervousness in her voice. Cubone used the bone in its hand and threw it with all his might.

''Deflect it with Iron Tail then slam your tail to Cubone!'' Ash said hastily. Pikachu obeyed his trainer by hitting the bone with his metallic tail and tossing it aside. Pikachu then slammed his metallic tail to Cubone with force almost creating a crater. Pikachu returned to his trainer's shoulder fully knowing that Cubone is knocked out.

''You're school focus too much in education. You may have the knowledge of a trainer but you don't have the skill, experience and most of all your bond and love for your Pokémon. Also don't judge a trainer by his badges or whatever. You may never know that the said trainer is more powerful than you.'' Ash said rather strictly leaving the students there especially Giselle dumbfounded and needed a lot of thinking about what he said.

With Ash

Night came as Ash readied a tent and bonfire with all of his Pokémon. They then started to talk about what happened earlier.

''Well Pikachu, that was a little irritating right?'' Ash sighed. Pikachu nodded and said 'You got that right. How dare they judge us?'

Ash chuckled and scratched Pikachu's cheek who purred happily ''It's alright. At least they learnt their lesson

'What happened daddy?' Riolu asked innocently while eating his food. Ash smiled as he and Pikachu started to tell about what happened. Some of his Pokémon were angry but was calmed down when Ash said they learnt their lesson. All of them yawned as Ash said ''Well guys let's sleep. We still have a long way to go before going to Vermillion City.''

They all nodded as all of them were returned to their respective poke ball except for Pikachu. The two best friends began to enter the tent and sleep as another day of adventures will await them tomorrow….

Annnddd FINISH! Sorry it took so long. Too many test and projects to finish in our school. Our sembreak is nearing but I'm not sure I will be able to write another chapter since I'll be doing a chapter to my other story. As always R&R. oh and also suggest some Pokémon for Ash to catch to the future.
