I am so sorry! I haven't updated in months. The year really caught up to me and everything moved really fast. I haven't had time to write or to post. Honestly, it's super hard to write this chapter. Originally, I wanted to wait for the actual Caskett wedding but you guys know what happen in Season 6. SO, I had to improvise with what I've seen on TV. And I apologize for the crappy chapter.

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Chapter 19

She took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly.

"Alright, Kate, you can do this," Kate Beckett said to herself.

Her father, Jim Beckett approached her and said, "You look beautiful, Katie. Just like your mother."

"Where is mom?"

"She's inside," he held out his elbow to her, "Are you ready?"

She took a deep breath and hooked her arm with his. The music started playing and everyone got up their seat, waiting and watching as the bride walk down the aisle with her father by her side. As soon as they reached the altar, Jim gave her daughter a kiss on her cheek and handed her to the groom.

"Wow... You look beautiful, Kate," Rick Castle said.

"You don't look so bad yourself, Rick," she said.

Every one sat down as the ceremony continued. Castle and Beckett faced each other and said their vows.

"Katherine Houghton Beckett... You're the first woman, other than my mother and daughter of course, that has the ability to make me speechless. Right now, I'm drawing a blank. I'm a writer for god's sake," he chuckled and took a deep breath.

"I promise to love you and honor you. I promise to be faithful to you. Till death do us part," he said.

Kate took a deep breath, "Richard Edgar Castle... I've known you for as long as I can remember and I knew you by Richard Alexander Rodgers... I... I'd never thought that my best friend would be my husband... And I'm proud to call you my one and done. My partner for life. Till death do us part."

Then finally...

"Katherine Houghton Beckett, do you take Richard Castle as your lawful wedded husband? To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?" the priest said.

Kate looked up and smiled, "Always," she said, instead of the usual 'I do'.

A smile crept on Rick's face.

"And Richard Edgar Castle, do you take Katherine Beckett as your lawful wedded wife? To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?"

"Always," he replied.

"The rings please," said the priest.

Rick took the ring and slid it on Kate's finger and she did the same to him.

"You may kiss the bride." Castle cupped Kate's face with both hands and gave her a gentle kiss. The crowd cheered.

After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed to have the reception. Everyone had a great time. A few hours into it, Jim stood up, holding a glass of champagne for a toast.

"Excuse me! I'd like to propose a toast to the bride and groom. Rick, take care of my little girl," he said.

"To the bride and groom!"

Everyone raised their glasses and chanted, "To the bride and groom!"

Rick looked over at his wife beside him and smiled at her. She smiled back and took his hand. After a couple more friends and family members made their toast, Richard Castle went up.

"I'd like to propose a toast to my beautiful wife, Kate. I honestly never thought this day would come. It's a dream come true. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be my wife," Castle said. Kate smiled as Rick made the toast.

After the reception, Mr and Mrs Castle walked out of the church, hand-in-hand, into a white car and drove off for their honeymoon. After several weeks, Richard Castle and Katherine Castle headed back to the loft. The moment they went through the door, Rick's daughter, Alexis, ran and tackled the two with a hug.

"Oh, Alexis, I missed you too," Rick said before pulling away.

"Hi, Little Red," Kate said softly as she smiled.

"Hi mommy," Alexis said.

Kate felt like her heart was about to burst. Her smile grew as she pulled the 5 year old girl in for a hug. They pulled away as Martha walked down.

"Welcome home, you two," Martha Rodgers said.

"Yeah, home," Kate said as she looked at her husband and smiled.

Rick returned the smile.

"Um, we have an announcement to make," Rick said.

Kate bent down to Alexis' height and asked, "How would you like to be a big sister?"

Martha's eyes widen in surprise.

"I'm getting a brother?"

"Or sister," Rick added.

Alexis then hugged her step-mother. Kate smiled as she hugged her back.

After unpacking, Castle found his wife looking through the window, watching the raindrops fall. He walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her, just above her small baby bump.

"What are you thinking?" he asked.

"We're going to be a family," Kate said.

"Aren't we already a family?" he asked.

Kate spun around and looked at him, "No, I mean a real family with a child of our own."

"Aren't we already doing that?" he asked, smiling.

Kate smiled as she pulled him in for a hug.

A few months later, Kate went into labor a week early. Everyone was waiting anxiously. Kate's partners were there; both Javier Esposito and Kevin Ryan. Kate's best friend, Lanie Parrish, was there. So were Johanna and Jim Beckett and Martha Rodgers. Even young Alexis Castle was there. So, they waited for hours. When Castle walked out, he was exhausted but that didn't wipe the silly grin off of his mouth.

"Who wants to meet our son?"

The Beckett-Castle family and friends stood up and smiled. They all congratulated him before walking in to see the baby. Kate was holding the tiny infant in her arms as they entered.

"What's his name?" Lanie asked.

"Meet Alexander James Castle," Kate said with a smile.

That was short but I ran out of ideas. One more chapter to go! And I haven't written it yet, (insert sarcastic yay). I'm currently in the middle of my second Preliminary Examinations before my GCE O Levels so I won't be able to update until after. So please don't hate me, I'm trying my best. Leave a review, it makes me happy! (And honestly, I didn't think this story was that interesting. Thank you for liking it.)
