*Pouts*
Robin: What is it author-san?
I hate correcting chapters.
Robin: Was it that bad?
YES! To believe I'm that bad at English *grumble*
Robin: But you did get help
Yup, I would never gotten this chapter out if it wasn't for Siren dreams. Thank you so much!
Robin: *Giggles* Enjoy this chapter.
"I love you" C smiled softly at Zoro. She closed her eyes again, but opened them immediately. Tala shook her head in frustration.
"You have done it now~" She purred "Bad, bad people~"
She spun around like a dancer, "You have ripped away the things I hold her down with. Now I have nothing," She stopped and fixed her gaze on Zoro. She looked like a wild animal ready to attack.
"I don't even have her feelings for you!" She sneered with venom dripping from every word.
Suddenly, claws and sword clashed with sparks shooting everywhere. Their faces where centimeters away before they jumped back. Tala growled and crouched down like a Gepard in sprint. She cut his cheek just enough to bleed.
"Stop dodging" She hissed at him "You will not suffer as much"
Suddenly a black leg came flying towards Zoro's head, but he blocked it with ease.
"Why do you interfere Cook?" He growled at him.
"What are you doing, moss head?" He snarled back "What's wrong with you?"
"What's wrong with me? Nothing is wrong with me!"
"It doesn't look that way marimo! You have a memory span of a goldfish. Why have she already injured you? There is definitely something wrong with that moss filled head of yours." Sanji lowered his leg and glared daggers at Zoro. "And you say you want to become the greatest swordsman? Get your ass head back in the game idiot."
They glared at each other with lightning flying and clashing between them.
"You both are stubborn mules," Tala whispered in their ears. She was flying just above them watching the whole situation with blank interest.
"Well, it's better being stubborn then to die right?" Sanji blew out smoke and grinned at her.
She just stared at him, ignoring the smoke passing her face.
"You are not going to take me down right?" She bluntly put it and landed before him. "Because you can't lay a finger on a lady~" A small smile crept up on her face.
She startled him with her closeness and stroked his face softly with her fingertips. Sanji just stood there hypnotized by the scary beauty, he barely even noticed that she cut his cheek with her claw like nails. A sword came flying between them, separating them just before she could cut his throat.
"You all interfere so too much!" Tala yelled in frustration as she turned to Zoro.
"Shut up woman!" He growled back, keeping his guard up for a change.
"Oi! Shitty Cook!" Zoro yelled at Sanji who was in slight confusion, "Get your ass out of here! You are going to get yourself killed if you stay."
Sanji opened his mouth to yell something back but closed it and turned to walk through the black flames that still hadn't died out.
"Sanji…" Luffy murmured.
"It's okay Luffy." Sanji said while he lit a new cigarette. "I get what the moss head said."
He stepped through the flames when he was suddenly attacked by Chopper and his medical kit.
"You are all pissing me off." Growled Tala. "Why can't you just die!"
"We will never die." Luffy lifted his head and glared at her. "Not to people like you."
"Not to people like me?" She lifted an eyebrow. "Really?"
"You can swear on your life that we won't."
"Well this is interesting." She snickered, a glint of amusement flickered in her eyes.
She straightened up and calmly walked over to Luffy. She stood before him, just measuring him with her eyes. Luffy kept his face blank, no emotion showing in his eyes.
"You are good on hiding your emotions when you want to, you know that?" Tala hummed, stepping closer.
"Step back woman." Zoro growled. She waved her hand at him without taking her eyes of Luffy.
"Relax Tiger! I'm not doing anything wrong~" she snickered slightly.
Zoro muttered something about liars, but everyone ignored it.
"How about we make it more interesting~?" her devil smile lurked at the corner of her lips. "It looks like we have a spectator."
Everyone got a whiplash turning their heads so quickly. There, in the edge of the forest, one could see a small mouse brown head peeking around a tree. It was a little girl in an orange dress and with olive green eyes. She had her brown hair in small pigtails.
Tala disappeared and reappeared before the little girl. Her claws and horns were gone, only her wings stayed visible.
"Hello sweet heart." She smiled kindly "What are you doing in these parts of the woods? Isn't the town on the other end?"
The girl stared at her wings in complete awe.
"Wow. Are you a fallen angel?" She pointed furiously at her.
"You could say that." Tala snickered and picked the girl up. "Shall I show you some of my friends?"
Back in the circle Zoro and Sanji were in a serious discussion.
"I didn't pick up her presence at all!"
"You dumb love cook! She was right there!"
"Don't you lie, Marimo! You say you saw her? None of us knew she was there! Luffy?!"
Luffy didn't listen. His face was dark and his hands were clenched into tight fists.
"Luffy?"
Zoro put his hand on his shoulder. "Don't waver"
Tala appeared, holding the girl in her arms. She sent a mocking look towards Luffy, that lasted for just a second before it was gone just as quickly.
"Yes. They are my dear friends that help me when I need it." Tala smiled softly at the girl and patted her on the head.
"Tala! Don't you dare!" Nami yelled at her with tears in her eyes.
"Don't dare what?" The girl wondered and hugged Tala.
"I don't know~. Nami sometimes doesn't make sense."
Nami clenched her teeth and forced her tears back. Robin appeared beside her and put a comforting hand on her shoulder. Luffy's face was blank. His eyes locked on the girl. She stared back with a blank face. Her head tilted a little to the side.
"Luffy" mumbled Nami defeated. "What are we gonna do?"
He stepped forward, towards Tala, leveling his eyes with the girl.
"Don't take another step, Capt'n." Tala growled lightly. Raising her hand behind the girls head, claws extended to full length.
He stopped. His eyes flickered up to her, but they fell back on the girl.
"Is he your, Capt'n? Are you pirates?" The girl's small voice was slightly excited.
"Yes... I'm her Captain. And she is my good friend" After a long time Luffy finally spoke.
"A good friend?" The girl clenched her fist in C's clothes, holding for her dear life.
"Yes," he smiled weakly "What's your name?"
"Aurora"
"That's an old name" Robin stated "It means Dawn, right?"
"How did you know?"
"I will call you Sun okay. That's easier." Luffy interrupted.
"Okay" Sun smiled.
"So, Sun. Will you help our friend?"
"LUFFY!" Nami yelled "What are you asking a little girl to do!?"
He ignored her, "I have a feeling you can do it. Right, Sun?"
Sun was quiet. She held Luffy's gaze with her own. She nodded weakly.
"What can this little girl do?" Tala laughed. She had kept quiet all this time, but this was getting ridiculous. "She is a child! She isn't strong enough to take me down."
She lifted Sun up and held her in the air, smiling sickly at her. Sun stared back. Tala really didn't like her. She showed no fear, no anger, no emotions at all.
"What is wrong with you Girl." She snared and pulled her face closer. "You are not normal."
"TALA! Get your hands off her!" Yelled Nami in desperation
"That is correct" Sun whispered. "I'm not normal" She put her hand over Tala's heart and closed her eyes. "I'm a soul"
Her hand began to glow. Steadily her whole body radiated with a golden light. Suddenly, she disappeared. Everyone stood there in surprise and confusion.
"W-what?" Tala stuttered. She stumbled to the ground while gripping her chest in pain. She twisted and turned like a fish on dry land. After some seconds she calmed down before she screamed the most inhuman scream the Straw hat's ever heard in their whole lives.
"She needs help!" Chopper panicked and ran towards her. He was stopped by Luffy's voice.
"Stay back Chopper."
"B-but…"
"This is something we can't help with."
It's done!
