1 year later.

Days, weeks and months passed. Lindsey and Freddie had the closest of relationships and they never let anyone or anything come in-between them. It was Lindsey's last day at Medical school and Freddie was coming home after going away for some workshop to do with the new garage Joe was looking to buy. She packed away her medical books and grabbed everything she need. Glancing around, she sighed deeply realising that this was the last day of the place she'd spent so long in. She stepped out of the classroom and out of the university, spotting Freddie leaning against his car with his hands in his pockets. She couldn't help but smile, running over to him and winding her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. He placed her down carefully and she leant up, pulling him into a soft kiss.

"I've missed you like crazy." Lindsey exclaimed after reluctantly pulling herself away from him.

"Likewise! But I'm back now and I promise you I'm never going away again, it was mind numbing." Freddie spoke, the pair of them letting out a chuckle.

"Right, I've finished here and I'm officially able to become a doctor. You haven't forgotten what today is have you?"

"Of course I haven't! So I say we go back to mine, pop open a bottle of champagne and celebrate a year of us being together. What do you think?"

"I say that is a great idea and we should do it." She grinned, the two of them getting into the car and driving back to the Roscoe's.

Lindsey stepped into the Roscoe house behind Freddie, closing the door firmly behind her to be greeted by Sandy, Ziggy and Joe plus the twins.

"Linds!" Robbie and Jason yelled, running up to Lindsey as she bent down and hugged her tightly.

"Hey boys!" Lindsey exclaimed, smiling at the twins.

"We've missed you lots." They added, smiling widely at her.

"I missed you both too! Why don't you go into the living room whilst I say hi to your Mum? I'll come and see you in a minute." The twins nodded and ran off into the living area, Lindsey standing back up and being pulled into a hug by Sandy.

"Congratulations love!" Sandy said happily, pulling out of the hug. "You're going to be a doctor!"

"Thankyou! I know, it's exciting!"

"Congratulations Linds." Ziggy spoke, hugging Lindsey and placing a kiss onto her cheek.

"Congratulations Lindsey, I'm happy and proud of you." Joe said, hugging her softly and placing a kiss onto her cheek.

"Thanks both of you but I don't want to be the centre of all this. Tonight is about mine and Freddie's anniversary, a year we've been together." Lindsey glanced up at Freddie who wrapped his arm around Lindsey with a smile.

"And we wouldn't have even gotten together if it wasn't for you." Freddie gestured to Joe.

"If it wasn't for you stealing my girl." Joe joked, crossing his arms.

"If it wasn't for you cheating on her." He made a comeback, smiling sarcastically at his brother.

"Woah, sass off between you two." Lindsey joked, giggling at the pair.

"Got that brotherly bond back eventually didn't we?" Freddie added, looking at Joe.

"Only took us what, six months?" Joe chuckled, making his way into the kitchen.

"The main thing is you're not fighting over the likes of me." Lindsey flicked her hair over her shoulders in a playful manner.

"Don't get too full of yourself." Freddie joked, taking her hand pulling her in close to him. "You're mine now."

Lindsey giggled at his remark and leant up, kissing him gently.

Later on that evening, the family were all lazing around in the front room. Sandy had made a dessert and popcorn in case they were to sit and watch a film. The champagne bottle was almost empty and so were the wine bottles that Sandy had brought in a few hours earlier. Lindsey had curled up beside Freddie and was on the verge of falling asleep.

"I am so tired right now! Thankyou for a lovely night Sandy!" Lindsey exclaimed, stifling a yawn.

"You guys go to bed, you've had a busy day. It was nice having a proper family catch up without some kind of fight!" Sandy said, sighing as she started piling up the plates and taking them out to the kitchen.

"It was just good to celebrate, celebrate everything Linds has achieved." Freddie replied, glancing at Lindsey and flashing a smile.

"Stop going cheesy you." She nudged him gently, letting out a chuckle. "I'll see you in the morning, Sand."

"See you in the morning, love." Sandy hugged Lindsey gently before going into the kitchen.

"Night you two." Freddie said, smiling briefly at his two brothers before following Lindsey into the hall.

"Tonight's been lovely, you didn't all have to go to those lengths for the anniversary." Lindsey voiced, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I had to make sure it was special, you deserve it. After this year of us being together, you finishing uni." He smiled, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"I can't thankyou enough, it's been great. But I'm absolutely exhausted." She said, trying not to yawn.

"Let's get up there, I think we're both shattered." He replied, Lindsey taking his hand as they headed upstairs.

"You sure you don't mind me staying over tonight?" She doubled checked, walking across the landing hand in hand with Freddie.

"Honestly, it's fine. Plus, it's our anniversary."

"And you've only got one thing on your mind?" She raised an eyebrow, turning to look at him as her smile turned into a smirk.

"You're thinking exactly the same as me, I can tell."

"Well then, what are you waiting for?"

Lindsey gasped and giggled as Freddie lifted her up into his arms, Joe and Ziggy standing on the landing and crossing their arms.

"If you're going to, you know, then keep the noise down because the twins are sleeping." Joe spoke.

Freddie turned around, Lindsey still in his arms trying not to laugh at how stern the brothers were looking at them.

"We will!" Freddie said sarcastically, Freddie stepping into the bedroom and placing Lindsey to the floor as he pushed the door shut, Lindsey raising an eyebrow.

"Are we really going to keep the noise down?" She asked.

"Course not, the boys sleep like logs anyway."

Lindsey let out a giggle, leaning up and winding her arms around her neck as she pulled him down into a passionate kiss.
