Chapter 6: Confession
I woke up again then my mind was like a spinning merry-go-round, I gasped when I saw shinji lying beside me. His face was peaceful like he was back then, I shook that thought away then I suddenly heard footsteps, I stood up then I walked towards the door. I pressed my ear on the door then listened to the conversation.
I can the elder Toguro talking until I stepped away in surprised when he squealed loudly, what did they do to him?
"Awake already sister?" I turned to see Shinji rubbing his eyes and he smiled calmly. I just glared at him then we stayed like this.
"Now stop that glaring, you should be happy that I stayed with you. I was worried about you when you collapsed. Do you like me to sleep right next to you always?" he asked as I grit my teeth and clenched my fists.
"In hell you will!" I shouted angrily to the traitor, I ran to him then punched his right cheek; he fell on the bed and moaned in pain. I was saying something but I couldn't understand, his voice muffled on the bed.
"What the fuck are you saying Shinji?" I growled then he lifted his head then pouted at me like a child would, it sickens me that he's playing nice and innocent towards me.
I forgave him before he died but seeing him like this makes me want to rip his face from his skull and throw it to the ocean where the sharks can eat it then I'll laugh as I will see nothing left in his body. But I can't do that because I promised master Izayoi long time ago. He's my uncle…Not MY BROTHER.
I just want to get away from him.
"What kind of words are you saying little sweet SISTER? That is no way to treat your brother and you should act more ladylike." He taunted me, head boiled with blood then I fought the urge to punch him but instead I turned away from him.
"I'm not your sister for fuck's sake! And I'm not a lady for your information." I spat grouchily, I heard him chuckle then I felt arms wrapping around my waist, I gasped then tried to pry them off but his grip was too strong.
"Let me go Shinji!" I warned him but he buried his face on my hair, I head-butted him causing him again to fall on the bed on his back.
"I watched you die shinji, how are you alive?" I asked him, his face smirked then he stood right beside me.
"I have friends Mujakina, I know you have too. But you see…I have skills…and those skills are the Tsukiko tricks." He said with pride, I rolled my eye then walked away from him, but I ended up being thrown on the bed on my back and my arms pinned right above me.
What the hell!
His face was calm and that smile haunts me in our past, he always smiles like that and it always calms me whenever I'm sad, he makes me giggle every time he carries me or if he spins me around.
"Now don't be too vile little sister Mujakina, Yusuke Urameshi have grown strong and so as you but you choose to hide that power, YOU are the heiress of the Tsukiko family but you do not wish the power of Tsukiyomi. You may have drunk the tears of our Moon god but you are weak!" He said as his hands travels on my neck, he suddenly wrapped his hands on my neck then squeezed it.
I squirmed underneath him then gasped for a bit of air.
"But then the more you resist that power the more I want to suck that life out of you!" he said with a mad grin, he really is crazy! I tried to kick him but he dodged t then he squeezed my neck tighter that it made my eye rolled in the back of my head.
"I always wanted to squeezed that tiny flame of life away and take that remaining eye! But…." He took his hands off my neck then I stared coughing violently, he stood then walked towards the door but before he left he glance at me then smiled calmly.
"I can't, because I love you too much little sister…" he said then closed the door behind him, tears unexpectedly poured from my eye then I wiped them away not wanting to let Shinji to have the satisfaction to see me or hear me cry.
"I promise that I will get my way out of this place one…way…or…another…The gang needs my help on this thing…" I growled angrily, no more Mujakina time. I need to focus on being Tsume Gekko once more.
I've been too weak for the past few weeks and let myself calm, and sweet. But Tsume Gekko in his mission is determined, cold and fierce. I should return to that attitude for a while now. I've become too soft now…
~ Grim reaper's P.O.V. ~
It's been a while when I was again sent to see Mujakina Tsukiko in her room, King Yama wanted me to make sure that she's in perfect health, physically, mentally and socially. The handmaidens were doing their jobs when I passed by them, at last…
The guard opened the door for me then I saw Mujakina Tsukiko sitting on the Futon with her head low, I heard rumors that she haven't eaten for days now and she just silently sat there. That's why the King sent me here to check on her, I went closer but I something weird is going on here.
Why can't I feel her spirit energy?
This is really weird now, I went closer to her then my hand went to her shoulder, I backed away when she slumped down the floor. My eyes widened to just what happened, I kneeled down then examined her body. I pressed my fingers on her skin, it was hard and her texture was very rough like it's an old pillow case.
This is just a doll.
Then…
On NO!
I have to report this to the king! I ran out of the temple then rode on my paddle, I flew with violent speed then landed on the entrance, I ignored all the ogres then pushed the doors open, the throne room was huge and I felt like an imp to walk in this place.
King Yama eyed me then he nodded, I sighed deeply then readied myself.
"You're Majesty." I said while bowing respectfully.
"What is this time?" he asked boringly, I gathered my strength and courage.
" Forgive me for disrupting your rest King Yama…But….There is something I have to tell you…It's about Mujakina Tsukiko…She's…not….I mean…she's…" I stuttered nervously, The King Yama rolled his eyes and his voice thundered around the room.
"Just spit it out and make it straight!" He said annoyingly and I nodded.
"Milord, Tsume Gekko….All this time she was just a dummy doll." I said straight, he just stared at me as if he doesn't believe me.
"I have no time for your games, go back to work." He said but then I remained still with a truthful gaze, he then leaned down then whispered.
"Are you really telling the truth Grim reaper?" He asked me then I nodded, he then rubbed his f=his temples with his fingers then I heard him grumble angrily, his hand motioned me to leave and I did what I was told.
~ King Yama's P.O.V.~
I angrily grumbled under my breath then my foot stumped loudly on the ground, how can this be? I locked her all the way so she can't escape. It was for the protection, I hissed annoyingly then face palmed.
Things will be in the hard way from now on, I called the team then the captain immediately went here in the throne room and saluted in a respectful way. I ordered him to look for the Tsukiko girl as soon as possible.
Minutes later they left without any hesitations and complaints, this feeling gave me the chills but she just needs to be here. The moonstone won't get off her neck and she's the last heir, I need to preserve her here like canned cherries until she'll expire. My son must not know my plans but since that Mujakina girl was borned she's a big trouble.
Then things got worse when Shinji killed every one then the problem grew when that girl became a watcher, she may have helped the Urameshi boy but the peace will not be complete f she's hidden.
~ Yuzai's P.O.V. ~
Again I cried under the moon, among me was the flowers that sister planted. Bui grew stiffened at my cries and pleas, Yukina left for a while so she can buy some items at the village. I really can't take it anymore, my sanity ruined me, I'm crazy for her…..Bui hugged me from behind then I turned to him.
"Miss Yuzai….I…" My hands went to his side of his face then I kissed his cheek, he suddenly blushed and I did too.
"I' so sorry Bui…" I felt so touch every now and then whenever a day pass, he never left my side and he never grew tired of my whimpers and sobs. He was a shoulder to cry, I never thanked him instead he always thank me for staying with him.
"Miss Yuzai?" he asked with twinkling eyes, I giggled then hug him tightly. My head on his chest, its so strange but his warmth was good. I can't hear his heart but…His heart was warm.
" Bui…I'm just so sorry…" I said, his eyes were sad and he bit his lower lip. I know he was keeping his promise to my sister but he released a sigh then lowered his head.
"All I wanted was to see you happy Miss Yuzai…There is nothing to be sorry about." He said with a smile, I gasped then kissed his other cheek, I hugged him affectionately and I felt tears falling down my face again.
"You don't know how depressed I am Bui…" He sighed again then hugged me tighter, after an hour of comfort he left me then waited for him to sleep. I snuck to the main room then took some money from master Genkai's piggy bank. When I left the temple my senses kicked in then ran as fast as I could.
I know she'll won't forgive me but…..I want to do this….
I ended up at the train station then waited inside until I reach the city.
~ Yusuke's P.O.v. ~
After the encounter with the doctor my limbs feel like they're going to be ripped apart, the old hag sat there while drinking tea. Keiko and the others went home except for Kuwabara and Botan, they stayed here figuring what the doctor said earlier at the hospital.
'We are the insects of the world and we all deserve to rot and die…'
Damn it, I just can't think straight, and then my senses started boiling when the redhead here decided to go top this concert, I rolled my eyes then leaned my hand on the table. After days and days I've almost forgot about Tsume, really! For the hundredth time she can take care of herself but I just got this feeling that she's not in good shape. Mom bought me this new apartment, and I was surprised that it had two rooms. She told me if Tsume might want to stay with me.
Kuwabara stood from the table then ran over to the door entrance, his friends greeted us but I ignored them for all I care.
That's it!
I stood up then grabbed an umbrella then headed to the door until the old hag called me with such warning on her tone.
"Yusuke, you need to take care of your friend Kuwabara. Remember that he's powers is not yet recovered." Genkai said with a stern look, I rolled my eyes and ignored what she says.
"See if I care…" I muttered and left the house, I wanted to do something. Right now I decided to go to the arcade to loosen up the matters and problems in my mind. I chose to play Goblin king but I ended up getting killed for how many times already to the point that I wanted to punch the screen. But I didn't, I hung my head low then huffed small amounts of air.
"Damn it! Why does everything have to be damn stupid?" I growled viciously, I searched my pockets then groaned when I realized that I have no quarters left, maybe it's time to leave again.
~ Later on ~
When I returned home the old hag suddenly smack me on the head for being such an ass, I rubbed where it hurts then complained at her roughness.
"Didn't you forget that Kuwabara's powers are still not restored?! You stupid piece of shit!" She shouted in my ear.
"Relax Grandma! I'm sure that the redhead can handle himself!" I said, her fist collided on my cheek then I was pressed against the wall.
"Idiot! Do you realize that he can get killed?! There is something inside him that will sprout any time soon, Yusuke….Listen! The enemy knows all about him, they know more about him than you do." I stopped my motion when the hag told me that, I wasn't thinking! That's it! I knew it!
"Sorry got to go!" I passes by them until Botan shouted that she'd come with me. The both of us ran then we were surprised to see Kuwabara carrying four men in his back, he smiled at us and unexpectedly he collapsed in exertion.
"Hey!" I shouted at him, he looks pretty beaten up, I then noticed that there was a kid who looks a year younger than me, and he had blonde hair and wearing a yellow rain jacket. Botan said she'll send Kuwabara's friends home and erase their memory, I carried them into my room then placed Kuwabara in supposed to be Tsume's room then the blondie kid on my bed.
Genkai tended their wounds and I relaxed my back.
~ Yuzai's P.O.V. ~
After getting out of the train it suddenly rained, I frowned but it didn't bother me anyway, the people in the streets were silent and some of them returned home now. I walked through the streets feeling lost, I remembered that I can open portals, I walked to an alley way then concentrated my spirit energy until a huge portal appear before me.
I coughed violently and blood slowly crept out of my mouth, I shook my head then step to the portal. I ended up at a apartment building, I was already soaking wet then I used the stairs, I suddenly felt strong spirit energy and believed that Yusuke Urameshi lived here then I heard shouting and I winced at the high pitched voice and curses emitted inside the room. I bit my lip then groaned deeply, I pressed the doorbell.
The door was opened and it revealed the one who killed Karasu, Kurama.
"Y-Yuzai? Is that you?!" he asked, I just looked down with a sad face, I was really freezing.
"Come inside! You'll get a cold if you stay out too long!" he said while gently pulling me in, when I entered a certain room the guy with pushed back hair gasped then stood up.
"TSUME?!" He sobbed out but I shook my head for his mistake.
"No, I'm Yuzai….remember?" I asked him, he then sat back again. Master Genkai's eyes grew wide then stared at me like a mother would.
"Yuzai?! What brings you here?!" master Genkai asked while setting down her tea, Botan ran up to me then wrapped me with a warm towel, she guided me to a chair then sat me down.
"M-Miss Yuzai? Is that really you?" Mitarai asked with gleaming eyes filled with hope and happiness, I nodded then I ask myself mentally why he's here.
"Mitarai? What are you doing here?" I asked him but he stayed silent, his tears were falling down his tan face then he wiped them away. I tilted my head to the side, Kurama placed hot tea in front of me and I thanked him for his kindness.
" Yuzai…What are you doing here?" yusuke asked curiously, I set the cup down and stared at the contents, the tea was reflecting me and a single tear fell down my face.
"Yusuke….I want you to take her back….Now…" I whispered, his face was puzzled and filled with question. He doesn't understand me…But…Sister….
"What do you mean take her back Yuzai?" I was about to answer until I heard Botan gulp nervously, I clenched my jaw and hands then sat up straight, there is no need to be afraid, this is for my sister's sake and I want her back now.
"Yusuke, there is something I want to tell you that my sister Mujakina doesn't want to tell you." I spat bravely then his eyes pierced through mine like a wail of death, I suddenly felt worry and anxious feelings from him.
"What?" he asked, I cleared my throat then bravely answered his question.
"Do you wonder why my sister hasn't returned to us for how many weeks now?" I asked him, he then leaned his head closer.
"Yeah why?" He asked again.
"Ever since she was revealed to be Mujakina Tsukiko back at the second round of the tournament….She promised to prince Koenma and to King Yama when she was a child…Before she became a watcher that…If she reveals her secrets she will stay at…at the spirit world until…she…" I trailed off losing my confidence; I jumped when Yusuke was already in front of me.
"Just tell me Yuzai…" he said softly.
This is it…
"She promised to them that she'll stay at spirit world for the rest of her life in order to recover the peace, so chaos will not infiltrate around her." He stared at me for a while, He stood up then opened the balcony door, I watched him stand there with anger stroking him.
I heard him curse bitterly then I stood up and walked to his side.
"Why didn't she tell me in the first place?!" he asked me angrily, I slumped my shoulders and cried again.
"Because she said not to tell you….Bui, Master Genkai, Yukina and I are the only ones who know…." I sobbed out; Yusuke turned his head to the old master then gritted his teeth.
"You knew?!" he asked, master Genkai nodded and looked away, Botan was shivering in guilt. His eyes were filled with annoyance and anger.
"Y-Yusuke…" She muttered Kurama's face was covered in disbelief; Mitarai had his head low as if he was hiding something. Yusuke marched toward the suit case then opened it revealing Prince Koenma's face.
"Yusuke…" the prince said, I went over the Spirit detective's side and sat down.
"I want answers now!" he spat out angrily, Koenma was staring at us.
"Yus-"
"Why didn't you tell me that Tsume is staying there?! Huh? You stupid binky breath!" He angrily shouted like he had a million lions inside his mouth, Koenma was silent at the moment until he cleared his throat.
"Yusuke, you must listen that…She did it to restore the peace. That's why-"
"That's total bullshit!" He roared, everyone was staring at him with wide eyes and I was one of them. I've never seen him angry like this before, I wonder how my sister handles him…
"Peace shit! We're in a chaos situation here and she left us because she thinks that she can restore peace?! She's a blabber mouth and a bitch! I hate her already! Stupid promise! Stupid bitch! I'm going to rip her face when I see her-"
"Don't say things like that to Miss Tsume!" We jumped when the blondie roared in anger, he stood up and he was clutching his injured side. Kuwabara was still asleep and he was snoring loudly, I don't know if I should laugh or cry at this situation…his snores sounds so funny.
"What? I have the right to tell her that! She's a bitch! She left without saying anything! You don't even know her blondie!" I just kept quiet and sat beside Botan.
"Miss Tsume's kind! She was the only one who understands me! But then…." He trailed off then Yusuke was really curious and so was I. Why does he know my sister? He hasn't met her before.
"How do you know my sister?" I asked him.
"Days ago shinji asked us to kidnap her-"
"SHINJI?!" All of us shouted at him, he was dead!
"But he was dead! I saw him die!" yusuke shouted, Koenma nervously laughed and we darted at him except for Botan.
" So…that's why….Murota…Wait….The Dark angel…The Gate keeper…Gourmet…Game master…The Sniper…the Doctor…The seaman….The…Samurai…." Yusuke muttered, I gasped then realized that the samurai was Shinji!
"Shinji is the samurai!" I said with a hoarse voice, yusuke nodded then returned his gaze to Koenma.
"Yusuke forgive me….But…Yes, Tsume is kidnapped by…Shinji and a man named. Shinobu Sensui."
